I Yield to None: Though they had failed to completely stop the last raid the

had done enough to be asked to help again. The fact that two had died while

trying to fulfill the contract actually went a decent way with

I Yield to None: the goblin venture company. If nothing else they got to see

a good show right? That was certainly worth the money. I mean how often do

you see two humans taken down by a bunch of garden gnomes while a

I Yield to None: goblin escapes? Pure gold baby! They were delivered to the

logging camp just like the first time though since the wagon was running late

the workers had already left the area and they were left to

I Yield to None: their own devices to get to the staging area. (RP time

ladies and gentleman!)

I Yield to None: The week Valcoda spent rather down was finally coming to an

end. Why was the war loving brute all sad? Not because he died, oh no, that

had been an honor. But because he had been forced to wait an entire week to

be ressurrected,

trade princess: Yeah it was just proof that you didn't have to be topping

six foot in order to get things done! And this time, boy was she ready .. she

had her pistol repaired and ready to blow off some snotty gnomish heads:

she'd strut into the

wagon he became much happier at the thought of bashing skulls and began to

make his way across the camp toward the far end.

occult elegy: She supposed that one could not very well master the black

arts if one was not prepared to make a more .. direct and personal visit to

the lands of the dead. However, it was a matter of pride that the elegant

woman had been taken down by a garden gnome of all things: and so she was

quite eager to return to the scene of the crime, though her complacent nature

with the death itself did not prevent her from bringing a satchel bulging

with a few beneficial potions.

Tesarik Five: Iymril had a rather good week, considering. The merchant who

had 'taken him in' and then used him as a slave for hard labor, doing the

work no Drow ever should...Well he died of unknown causes. That in turn

allowed him to slip away

Tesarik Five: from the collectors and be free. No weapons, no clothes other

than the rough leather pants that he'd had on when he left with one change of

clothes, and only a small bag that had the food he'd taken as well. It wasn't

much, but it

Tesarik Five: was enough for him to survive. Stepping out he looked around,

eyes narrowed just a bit as he saw the carriage come up, making him curious

at the least.

well the last time they were here. They could also see various patches of

burned and crushed grass and land. They were almost to the edge of the camp

facing the forest.

grin causing his lips to part, his teeth to reflect the moonlight and his

eyes to widen into saucers of pure glee. Lifting his warhammer from his back

he let it rest

Tesarik Five: As the odd looking group, a few humans and a goblin? Well now

that was different. Well he would follow none the less. Eyes squinted to

protect them somewhat from the sun as he kept silent so not to disturb them,

sneak up on them and stab them in the back. At least, not yet. Maybe later.

trade princess: "Sick bastards..." A boot scuffed a piece of broken

machinery, the goblin scratching her nose with the barrel of her pistol. Yeah

they were a motley crew, but if it got the job done and she got paid she

wasn't gonna have any

trade princess: complaints! Though the fact that she was the shortest one

there was a bit irritating sometimes.

occult elegy: She merely glanced around, her face expressionless for the

most part with her hands clasped together in front of her. No comment was

made, though she kept her eyes trained on

occult elegy: the tree line ahead of her, she was expecting an ambush.

sun went down and the darkness of the night fell upon the land. They didn't

have time to prepare, like last time, before the brigade of garden

the pin cushions from last time! They want more!" That came from the Brigade

leader and squeaky cheers and jeers were announced by the

Either way, things started off immediately as they gnomes scurried forward to

I Yield to None: They had pushed back that night's attack! The war was far

from over but for now the venture would be able to continue cutting the trees

without nightly raids. In several weeks they would be asked to

night they prevailed. Especially after gett their asses handed to them the

previous week. Nefarious Works, it seemed, had made it pretty clear
