SPELLBORN CLARIFICATION
The explanation for spellborns has been CLARIFIED. It never meant that a spellborn could take Mage (profession) AND Psion (profession) skills. It was not written well, but that was never the intent. It meant that a spellborn could take arcane and psionic type skills IF they meet the prerequisites. Trying to take a skill that has a prerequisite of needing a specific profession, or rank, still stands. It was never a free for all, as that would make Spellborns near super-powerful and able to take three profession's worth of skills, primary included. So it has been clarified to say magical affinity & psionic affinity (as spellborn have both) instead of mage and psion.
ENCHANTMENT REMOVAL
The unarmed enchantment "Back to your Feet" has been removed and turned into a skill called the same thing "Back to Your Feet".
Back to Your Feet : This enables you to shrug off disabling conditions as long as you are equal or higher gemstone rank than the attacker. You are able to cause any disabling condition that would effect more than one round of combat to only affect you for one round of combat. If the attack or skill only causes you to be stunned or disabled for one round, you slough that off with ease and the effect does not take place. This can be used only once per day.
Prerequisites: Combat-Oriented Profession , Emerald Rank
(All Combat Class Professions, Monk, Paladin or Vindicator)
(V - Emerald Rank)
MATERIAL CHANGE
I am sorry I did not catch this sooner, but Darkweave and Shadowsilk both added to Hide but the prices were WAY different with 500gp giving +5, and 3,000 giving +1 O.O... So now it's flipped so it makes more sense... Darkweave giving +5 for 3,000gp and Shadowsilk giving +1 for 500gp.
If you own something Darkweave, it now has +5 Hide. You paid the full price, you don't need to do anything but change it to +5.
If you own something Shadowsilk, it now has +1 Hide. BUT you may pay the difference and gain the +5 back, which would be 2500gp per item.
Darkweave 3,000gp + Cost of Armor
This darkly woven material can be used to make clothing, and certain armors and gives a +5 to Hide.
Shadowsilk 500gp + Cost of Armor
Black spidersilk. This specialized spidersilk adds a +1 to Hide Checks.
CHARACTER LIMIT & STORAGE RULE CHANGE
Character limit is now TEN (not including free/prize chars).
New Storage Rules
Storage is where people who are LoA, or we haven't heard from in a while go. Not where you can store a char and switch out on the whim back and forth.
When you choose to place a dossier in the "Character Storage" area, this means that they are frozen at whatever level they are right now. You may not earn XP, GP, Craft, or anything of the sort. They have whatever they have when they are moved here. We will never tell you what you can or can't do in private, but as far as OH goes these characters are not active and cannot be played in public.
At any time you may request your Stored Character to be placed back into Primary Status, but remember you are only allowed TEN active, xp-earning characters in OH. This does not include approved NPC's or free slots for characters you've been given, or the one inactive you are allowed in the paragraph below.
If you are not LoA and simply wish to 'switch out' a character for another and store one of them as "inactive", you may use the Character Storage as well, but if you are not on LoA you may only put ONE CHARACTER in storage at any given time. Once a character of an active player has been stored, you may not request it to be active again until at least ONE MONTH has passed, as we do not wish to be switching back and forth week after week.
POISON STUFF
I've added some poisonmaking skills.
Master of Poisons : Your prowess with poisons is legendary. You cannot poison yourself, even if you roll a Critical Fail on your strike using poisons. You are able to apply poisons as a quick action, enabling you to make an attack the same round your poison is applied instead of taking up a turn to apply poisons.
Prerequisites: Poisonmaking and Use
And some items for the Emporium.
Hilt-Hollow - Store one poison vial there and able to apply it as a quick action, letting you attack and apply poison in one round. 6,000gp. Uses 1 Point.
Toxic Gloves - Enables a person with unarmed attacks to use poisons without poisoning themselves. 3,000. [Slot: Hand]
Crafting: Homes & Property
FOR CRAFTING - You must have Artisan Crafting (masonry) AND (carpentry) and you may craft homes and buildings using the same rules as any other crafting.
