Tesarik One: Mistakes, IM me.
Tesarik One: Between Farwater Village and Westwend is the port city of
Withernsea upon the coast of Sarkotos, near the bottom of the Kierl Heights.
Only a few days ago, an earthquake rumbled near Withernsea, causing the
ground and mountains to
Tesarik One: shake. The tremor was not large, and the damage seemed minor,
but a few miles down the winding river outside of Withernsea something had
come to light. A massive landslide triggered by the earthquake unearthed an
uncanny sight in
Tesarik One: the Kierl Heights. A bulging convex wall of antediluvian
antiquity, so say the scholars. An ancient formation that predates even the
elven and dwarven races upon this world. A God-Egg. What malignant horror
would have been birthed
Tesarik One: from the God-Egg, none know, but it has raised the suspicion of
more than one important person and the Heart has been called upon to
investigate. Ancient beyond reckoning, ossified and cracked, the God-Egg
failed to hatch long
Tesarik One: millenia ago....but has everything within it died? The Port
Union is ready to take those willing to face an ancient terror to the base of
the mountain. (Begin RP)
Noble Artificer: ::Ancient Horrors,..God Eggs,.. Malignant Horror what more
could someone ask for! So he was standing at port union, bow draped over his
shoulder, the quiver filled with arrows and for the moment the leather and
bronze orange tinted
Lord Kissekatt: Well, certainly there was no good, valid reason to go poking
around something that failed to hatch when it could just be bombarded with
destruction from a distance, but if there was a profit to be made, well...why
not go have a
questing requiem: Was there ever really a matter that couldn't replace
willing with foolhardy all too easily? Odds were fairly good that such was
exactly why the minstrel set out for Port Union. Or just for the distraction
from his
Noble Artificer: goggles rested up on his forehead, free hand was tucked
down into the pocket of the leather overcoat that was worn while he waited
for this group to come along. Yeah figured he better get out and do something
since arriving instead
Lord Kissekatt: peek? He'd just have to be ready to escape when things
inevitably got terrifying. He was ready as usual for a quest, bow and quiver
on his back, done up in his usual protecive gear, which of course looked more
like it was intended
Noble Artificer: of just being a name holder on a list of fellow
adventures.::
Lord Kissekatt: to look presentable than to protect anything. Oh well! He
had yet to get himself killed on one of these foolish quests, so it'd all
worked out so far. Hopefully that wretched gypsy wouldn't rear her head, he
might actually enjoy
Lord Kissekatt: himself.
Onyx Dalliance: Holly may be void of emotion on the outside, but her heart
was mostly pure..mostly. She was here to help her oh so beloved comrades,in
her studdedleathers and sheathed great katana on her back.Pink pigtails
bouncing with every step
questing requiem: Kir-Viir-borne troubles. Odds were fairly good a bit of
word sent to his contact within the Arcanum Guardians, Ercil Surtas
(Reputation Precedes) would earn a bit more of the lore behind the God-Egg
than Girard could pry out of his
Onyx Dalliance: taken as dull pink eyes scan for a partner.
Tesarik Five: There was little in this world that he knew of that predated
the Elven people, less even that could still be found as far as he knew. Thus
his curiosity had him coming to see this thing that was older than even his
people. Twin
Lorin Blacklock: Mention of a mountain being opened up to reveal some kind
of egg, it was enough to jerk his attention away from the hammer and anvil,
if only for a time. Thanks in part to a rather stoic feline his client list
had grown. Dressed
questing requiem: less than impressive library in regard to ancient horrors.
Whatever the old half-elf knew .. Girard would wind up in the Port soon
enough.. awaiting the portal that would eventually lead to the locale
mentioned. -d

Lord Kissekatt: (:-P)
Tempt of Black: A casual pace beneath her boots brought the Islander's
approach to Port Union in a rather quiet way. She watched forward and across
to those gathered, observing silently as the distance closed between she and
Girard. The minstrel
Tesarik Five: short swords strapped to his back in perfect balance as the
bow rested just over the top of them. No quiver, no arrows, seemingly a
useless piece of equipment for now. Looking around he took note of the
others that had joined as
Tesarik Five: well.
Lorin Blacklock: in leathers and furs, a single dark adamantine clasp at his
shoulder and axe resting upon his hip. One thick hand ran down the length of
his coal colored beard, a rough but composed silence falling over the dwarf.
Lord Kissekatt: (brb)
Tempt of Black: was given a nod just before she watched over and down,
collecting Lorin in her sights, too. There was hardly a moment spent to
linger once the Portal opened, moving then to step through. -d-
Tesarik One: A large pool of water has collected nearby, a newborn lake
formed by the landslide. A steep slope apparently came crashing down during
the recent tremor, choking the riverbed and barricading the
Tesarik One: valley with a massive wall of earth, stones, and shattered
trees. Brown and murky, the swollen river forms an ominous pool, choked with
tangled tree trunks and jumbled boulders. From the lake, water pours
Tesarik One: down a narrow river bed, a raging torrent of floodwaters,
churning and rushing along their freshly eroded channel
Tesarik One: Beyond the river, a newly exposed wall of pale, translucent
stone forms an imposing sight. Smoothly curved, this wall of unusual stone
could be no natural formation: A stony face over thirty-five
Tesarik One: feet in height, the convex wall appears to be crafted of
seamless, smooth stone, with moss-like blooms and whorls of darker mineral
running through the variegated surface. By the river, a few scattered
Tesarik One: tools and ropes suggest that others have passed this way
recently, but no sign of these others is apparent. Pitons are buried into the
stone, though, and a rope is threaded through, making it easy for
Tesarik One: the group to move up and into the closest "crack" in the
God-Egg.
questing requiem: Ercil's knowledge tended to surprise Girard.. all the more
when the mage presented specifics like K'har and 'before the dawning of man'.
Such things on his mind, he nearly missed noticing A'kana's presence
altogether. The Islander
questing requiem: came to his attention when he murmured a repetetion of
Ercil's words just in case he needed to repeat them to whoever came along. "
... Ah.. Kana.. " He blinked, pausing in his words to brighten his pale
features with a pleased expr
Noble Artificer: ::He gave a tilt of his head glancing between the gathering
then turned with a nod to them before heading through the portal and taking
in the scene. Brow arched some, hand raised catching the leather drawing it
down covering his
Noble Artificer: eyes behidn the tinted lenses. Another glance around before
just remaining back some staying silent.::
questing requiem: ession to see her about Sarkotos once more. " You had me
worried, my friend. I didn't know where you had got off to.. " Those words
came in elven out of old habit when chatting with the Islander. " Before I
lose my thoughts.. " Well
questing requiem: best to pass along the information his contact provided
before he lose track of half, or all of it on the way to the God-Egg.
Lord Kissekatt: He had a look at their surroundings once they were through
the portal, particularly the tools that were left about. Nose wrinkled a bit.
If more people were being sent in, clearly they hadn't been heard from, which
was a cheerful
Lord Kissekatt: thought if there ever was one. Well, as usual, he had no
desire to climb up that rope first, so he'd stay put for the time being.
Tempt of Black: Kana watched over to Girard with the look of a keen, deep
green eye. His lightened expression did not seem to aid her stoic one, though
there was a hint of warmth somewhere in her gaze. "A little of everywhere."
Her simple response
Tesarik Five: Having taken note of the others ther ereally was little else
to do. Seeing the tools, the rope, and they way up he gave a small nod to the
others before he took grasp of the rope and started to climb his way up. The
others could
Tempt of Black: to where she'd been 'off to.' The response came in elven,
simply because he'd opted to use it first. Taking out to the side a bit more
from the group, Kana surveyed the surroundings--eventually watching up and
forward to those near
Tesarik Five: talk if they wanted, he on the other hand was here to do as
asked and investigate. Granted, some were able to do both at once.
Onyx Dalliance: Holly was shy and quiet most of the time and without friends
she was useless. She'd approach Kana and stare blankly at her.
Lord Kissekatt: Oh good. Someone else was heading first. He didn't mind
going second, so he'd start up the rope after the first brave soul!
Tesarik One: Up goes Rohdle, that's the way to do it!
Tesarik One: Baldur next.
Lorin Blacklock: Dark hard eyes, like the flat ends of nails, looked up to
the rope and climbing gear then around towards the others. Dwarves were known
for quite a few things, climbing and being spry enough of limb to dart away
should thinsg turn
Lorin Blacklock: sour....not chief amongst them. Had they the need to dig
through the surface, then he would have been more than eager to lend his
hands. But being shorter and thicker of stature, he'd leave the first bit of
climbing to a more
Tempt of Black: the abandoned gear. With her attention kept there, she'd not
notice Holly's blank stare until a moment after it began.. A'kana slowly
sliding her gaze towards her. A low rumbled started in her chest.. A subtle
warning not to linger
questing requiem: Suggesting the minstrel investigate through actual..
investigation of the scene wasn't likely to gift much in results. " ... I
doubt we'll find much of the spawn of K'har here.. " Presuming the
information Ercil provided happened to
questing requiem: be accurate in regard to the egg. Well whatever.. he'd
follow suit in the wake of the elf and the feline bastard-noble. -d
Tempt of Black: and gawk. Moving forward then, she'd bend her knees slightly
and lift from the ground, levitating along side those climbing. (Spell: Light
as a Feather)
Lorin Blacklock: spindly fella. Which, one of them flower talking one did
just that. Hearing the rumbling between A'kana and the other female, he
shouldered his way through them. One rough hand patting A'kana's fforearm as
he passed. "Easy now."
Lord Kissekatt: "Are you all going to stay down there and chit chat or can
we get moving? Some of us don't have all night to linger about playing
grab-ass."
Lord Kissekatt: Called down to the rest of 'em once he was up.
Lorin Blacklock: When it was his turn, he'd climb like the rest.
Noble Artificer: ::And he was moving to take his own turn in climbing after
securing the bow over his shoulder. Moving up the rope and climbing to join
the rest.::
Onyx Dalliance: She'd follow after Lorin, climbing slowwwwwwwwly as
Onyx Dalliance: Kana scared her off.
Tesarik One: Up they'd go without any trouble, and be able to climb into the
massive egg.
Tesarik One: Beyond the wall of mysterious stone, an ominous, cyst-like
chamber awaits, filled with structures that defy understanding. The curved
interior walls are vaulted and ribbed, with incomprehensible
Tesarik One: tube-like protrusions that loop and curve out from the walls
and ceiling, forming bizarre stalactites and columns. This nightmarish vista
is dimly illuminated by greenish phosphorescence that creeps and
Tesarik One: dances along every exposed surface.
Tesarik One: The strangely shifting phosphorescence reveals that much of the
chamber is taken up by structures as grotesque as the rest of their
surroundings. The nearest is a fluted cylindrical shape, with
Tesarik One: oblong openings, spikes and ridges jutting at odd angles. An
irregular shape is heaped upon the cylinder, with projecting horns of grayish
material reaching high above the irregular mass. (If you wish to

to have some sort

Tempt of Black: Righting the gear and bow on her back a bit, Kana set a bit
of motion to her feet. The dark clad woman walked in further, though made
certain not to touch a single thing. -d-
Tesarik Five: of beast jump out at him at any time, though perhaps it was
just an itch he needed scratching. Though as the others came to meet with him
he spoke. "This is supposed to predated Elves. It looks like any cave." Not
impressed
Tesarik Five: obviously.
questing requiem: " Pre-dates the dawn of men.. wonder what exactly these
spawn of K'har were.. " Aside from apparently God-Spiders by what even the
inattentive minstrel percieved of the egg's interior. " ... I'd think you'd

Onyx Dalliance: She'd pant noticeably now as she arrived inside the egg
looking about blankly with zero emotion."no omelette.."she approached Tesarik
Five.
Tesarik One: The exoskeleton of the massive spider can be seen by those that
put two and two together with their Insight. Underfoot, the debris shifts.
The floor is covered with thousands of cracked and shattered fragments of
gleaming rigid
questing requiem: something regarding spiders.. gods-forbid the drow found
it.. " Girard returned to looking about.. if he kept talking he'd only
distract himself all the more. -d
Tesarik One: material that if examined looked more like chitin or horn than
anything. But, unfortunately for them, their assessment and examination will
have to wait, for not everything is dead in the God-Egg. While the spawn of
chaos in this
Tesarik One: egg was destroyed, some of its servitors survived. Dormant for
millenia, these ancient minions aroused from slumber when the God-Egg was
disturbed. It did not take long for them to enter the first chamber to glean
the attention of
Tesarik One: the servitors.... inkspydres.... bloated midnight black sacks
of corruption attached to an arachnid thoraz with a dozen jointed legs. They
cling to the walls and ceiling and floor, peeking out from all the broken
chitin scattered.
Tesarik Five: Hearing Girard he lifted a brow slightly as he turned to look
at the man. "The worthless cave trash would have to come to the surface to
find it, and it would do them little good, I am sure." Was he really sure?
Not in the least.
Tesarik One: Five become visible, wasting no time in attacking. The first
inkspydre falls from the ceiling upon Rohdle, first to enter, and sinks it's
fangs into his neck.

before he started forward more, until of course he was attacked. (Counter
Attack?)
Lord Kissekatt: He sure didn't notice anything other than the obvious about
this thing. He didn't give it much of a look, really. Although he did notice
these damned spiders starting to swarm them though. Uh oh.

fist slam down on that clasp on his shoulder. In a matter of moment and a
wash of clicks and hisses
Tesarik One: While the first spydre missed Rohdle, then skittered away,
another came up behind Baldur and ran up his legs, biting down into his hip
with it's toxic fangs.
Noble Artificer: Not all Drow live beneath the surface nor worship spiders,

questing requiem: gers there.. perhaps the three that were dragged off.
Certainly he'd get moving with the others .. since they all seemed positive
that moving against the K'har was the best course of action. -d
Lord Kissekatt: He set about examining the room while they dealt with the
victims, which he also saw as outside the realm of what he was being paid to

see what he could
Lord Kissekatt: see. He certainly didn't intend to head up there by himself,
however.
Lorin Blacklock: Webbing? Axe. Debris? Shield. Darkened area? Darksight.
Children? Right where he would last look......or try to find at least.
Onyx Dalliance: "I can see in the dark"
Tempt of Black: Kana did what she could with the webbing before stepping
forward, viewing up the tube right alongside Baldur. For a moment, her stoic

Onyx Dalliance: that was her way of volunteering to go up.

Lord Kissekatt: Well then! He wouldn't be going up alone. Checking the place
out was indeed what they came here to do, so he'd climb up shortly after Kana
did. He could see just fine in the dark.
Tesarik Five: That Elf had no problem with taking the lead, as shown thus

soft glow at the top of the tunnel.
Tesarik One: At the top of the shaft, an oddly-shaped chamber awaits.
Glowing filaments dangle from the ceiling, filling the room with pale light.
Within the chamber, two more of the vile Inkspydres lurk - Elder

portions of the supernatural essence of the long-dead spawn of K'har. Once

So he was standing at port union, bow draped over his
shoulder, the quiver filled with arrows and for the moment the leather and

destruction from a distance, but if there was a profit to be made, well...why

Noble Artificer: goggles rested up on his forehead, free hand was tucked

for this group to come along.

Lord Kissekatt: to look presentable than to protect anything. Oh well! He
had yet to get himself killed on one of these foolish quests, so it'd all
worked out so far. Hopefully that wretched gypsy wouldn't rear her head, he

Lord Kissekatt: himself.
Onyx Dalliance: Holly may be void of emotion on the outside, but her heart
was mostly pure..mostly. She was here to help her oh so beloved comrades,in
her studdedleathers and sheathed great katana on her back.Pink pigtails

the Elven people, less even that could still be found as far as he knew. Thus
his curiosity had him coming to see this thing that was older than even his
people. Twin
Lorin Blacklock: Mention of a mountain being opened up to reveal some kind

God-Egg.
questing requiem: Ercil's knowledge tended to surprise Girard.. all the more
when the mage presented specifics like K'har and 'before the dawning of man'.
Such things on his mind, he nearly missed noticing A'kana's presence
altogether. The Islander

questing requiem: best to pass along the information his contact provided
before he lose track of half, or all of it on the way to the God-Egg.
The
others could

simply because he'd opted to use it first. Taking out to the side a bit more
from the group, Kana surveyed the surroundings--eventually watching up and

Tesarik Five: talk if they wanted, he on the other hand was here to do as

Moving up the rope and climbing to join
the rest.::
(If you wish to

the attention of
Tesarik One: the servitors.... inkspydres.... bloated midnight black sacks
of corruption attached to an arachnid thoraz with a dozen jointed legs. They
cling to the walls and ceiling and floor, peeking out from all the broken
chitin scattered.
Tesarik Five: Hearing Girard he lifted a brow slightly as he turned to look
at the man. "The worthless cave trash would have to come to the surface to
find it, and it would do them little good, I am sure." Was he really sure?
Not in the least.

Baldur 3/30 [15] || A'kana 0/63 [15] (22/22) || Aiden 0/25 [17] || Lorin 0/24

questing requiem: the minstrel slashed at the empty air with Velatum in
visible irritation. " Then we free them and destroy this thrice damned thing.
" -d
Tesarik One: Further within, you find another of the villagers, apparently
alive, but writhing in pain. His mouth is open as if he is silently screaming
in terror and agony, but no sound emerges. This poor fellow
Tesarik One: has become a living feast for the Inkspydres' young. The pain
of being devoured alive has caused his body to throw off the effects of the
creatures' venom, but his vocal cords are still paralyzed.
Tesarik One: Where his clothing is torn away, the spiderlings are revealed,
slowly tunneling through the man's flesh, eating and burrowing.
questing requiem: Or if they were in the same condition as Lorin.. well..
mercy killings weren't out of the question. -d
Onyx Dalliance: "we should help them if we can." Completely monotone and
lacking any kind of human emotion. she pointed in the direction of where she
thought the noise was coming from. Holding her massive katana in front of
her. She walked
Lord Kissekatt: Hm. Cries, was it? He glanced in that direction and
well..hell, if everyone was heading on over that way, he'd move along as
well, though if it came down to fighting a god, well..that's not what they
were sent here to do, so he'd
Tesarik One: (Oops forgot one post --) As you move within, you will find the
husks of barely-recognizable villagers, empty skin draped loosely over the
bones, tissues drained and emptied. Others lay beyond, paralyzed and
entangled, barely able
Tesarik One: to cry for help. They tell whoever they see first, that there
are three of their group dragged off... a man and two children.
Noble Artificer: ::He moved forward silently as another arrow was placed to
the nocking ledge of the bow.::
Lord Kissekatt: feel nothing wrong about abandoning them. Villagers having
spiders burrowing into them though, huh? Well..yuck. He started stringing his
bow upon seeing the first of them.
Onyx Dalliance: further inside until she saw a man who was unable to
screen. and placed her sword through his heart.
Lorin Blacklock: The flask and it's little occupant held up for a moment
before it was wrapped and gingerly placed away. Things for later times. Maybe
not all would turn foul and wicked. Once the flask was secured safe and sound
the axe and shield
Onyx Dalliance: scream*
Tesarik One: Holly apparently has killed the suffering villager!
Lorin Blacklock: were brought up before him. "If they get in your
skin........it hurts."
Lord Kissekatt: Well, that worked. Saved him the arrow. Though he did sigh
and start unstringing his bow once again.
questing requiem: Seeing the horrid examples of what the still living
villagers would eventually wind up if not somehow freed and provided some
sort of anti-toxin for the vemon.. Girard glanced back to the way they'd
come. " ... Should procur the
Tesarik Five: If that self promoting noble thought fighting a god was bad,
and that running was the right choice....Well he'd have a rather angry Elf on
his ass soon enough. Seeing Holly though kill the man in pain he gave her a
nod of approval
Lord Kissekatt: Didn't think it was bad. Thought it wasn't what they were
paid for, and therefore fell outside the realm of his contracted job.
Tesarik Five: only to look on further. "Let us make quick work of this. I
must still hunt before the sun rises." Busy busy Elf.
Tempt of Black: Kana stepped forward to start searing what she could of the
webs binding the villagers. A controlled hand and keen eyes worked to fray
the spun silk away, working as much as she could like that before taking her
hands to try and
Tempt of Black: pull and tear.
questing requiem: vemon sacs from the ones we ended.. " Alchemy might not
have been his strong point, but magic was.. hazarding a guess at what could
cure folk of the effects of magical vemons. Alas even Girard could not see a
way of saving the villa
Tesarik One: Past where the creatures' poor victims were found, a tunnel
lined with heaped shell fragments climbs upward into the oddly-shaped chamber
beyond. Black webbing binds the fragments together and forms
Tesarik One: an easily-climbed tube winding upward.
Tesarik One: The missing man found, only the two children they were told
were missing is left to find.
Onyx Dalliance: Holly stared directly at the person she had executed and
she whispered something that Nobody else could hear. She noticed the nod
she was given and followed after him very quickly. The weapon ready." Now
for the children?"
questing requiem: gers there.. perhaps the three that were dragged off.
Certainly he'd get moving with the others .. since they all seemed positive
that moving against the K'har was the best course of action. -d
Lord Kissekatt: He set about examining the room while they dealt with the
victims, which he also saw as outside the realm of what he was being paid to
do. He noted the tube heading upwards and glanced up it, squinting a bit to
see what he could
Lord Kissekatt: see.
For a moment, her stoic
way left a little displeasure tuch at her brow. But--she moved to try and
climb the thing.
Onyx Dalliance: that was her way of volunteering to go up.
Noble Artificer: ::He tapped the leather frames of the goggles he wore,::I
can as well. ::He walked forward and tilted his head looking towards the
tube.::
Lorin Blacklock: \Lorin gave a grunt and up he went.
Lord Kissekatt: Well then! He wouldn't be going up alone. Checking the place
out was indeed what they came here to do, so he'd climb up shortly after Kana
did. He could see just fine in the dark.
Tesarik Five: That Elf had no problem with taking the lead, as shown thus
far. coming to the tube he started to move his way up it, eyes ever watching,
darting from one way to the other as he tried to make sure he wasn't snuck up
on again. (Spot
Tesarik Five: just in case.)
Tesarik One: They could easily climb that tunnel.
OnlineHost: Tesarik Five rolled 1 20-sided die: 18
Tesarik One: ~*~ Tesarik Five scored 1 poynts damage ~*~
Tesarik Five: (+5 = 23)
Tempt of Black: Kana's eyes did fine in the dark (Darksight), so the climb
wasn't much of an issue.. granted, what was at the end of the tube might very
well be...
Tesarik One: All you spot is what has been stated, though you make out a
soft glow at the top of the tunnel.
Tesarik One: At the top of the shaft, an oddly-shaped chamber awaits.
Glowing filaments dangle from the ceiling, filling the room with pale light.
Within the chamber, two more of the vile Inkspydres lurk - Elder
Tesarik One: Spydres, larger and more hideous than the ones encountered
before. Each leans its monstrous bulk against a young girl, who stumbles and
lurches around the room, apparently doing the bidding of the
Tesarik One: revolting creature clinging to her. Even more disgusting, the
Inkspydres have plunged their sucking fangs into bulbous creatures attached
to each of the girls' heads. Resembling leprous starfish more than
Tesarik One: anything else, these grotesque creatures pulse and twitch with
every movement of their unwilling hosts.
Tesarik One: The chamber at the top of the winding shaft is irregularly
shaped, with tangles of glowing greenish filaments dangling from the ceiling.
The strands are anchored to shapeless, pulsing globs of matter;
Tesarik One: sickly, pale light
Tesarik One: seems to flow along their length. These filaments contain
portions of the supernatural essence of the long-dead spawn of K'har. Once
part of the titanic creature's mind, they may be the last parts
Tesarik One: of the fetal thing to
Tesarik One: retain some of its original godlike power.
Onyx Dalliance: She waited and was most likely the last person to start
climbing up, it was part of their mission and she was still nervous that they
were going to run into mommy spider eventually.... Not quite what they found
when I finally arri
Onyx Dalliance: ved at the top."..."
Lord Kissekatt: Hm. Well these two certainly didn't seem to be worth saving,
with the state they were in. Eyes shifted around this odd chamber a bit and
nose wrinkled.
Noble Artificer: ::He had moved up as well and knelt down some taking in the
sights frowning, top lip curled back in a slight snarl of disgust before
shaking his head, yeah he was staying silent for the moment while his thumb
slid over the fletches
Noble Artificer: of the arrow nocked.:: *D
Tesarik Five: Seeing those larger spiders in the distance his swords were
placed away only to draw his bow. Seeing that they weren't attacked right
away had him pause, waiting for the others to join them before he made his
attack.
questing requiem: A shakey breathe taken by the minstrel the closer he came,
the oppressive feeling of far too many outraged spirits demanding something
be done in shouts given in unison [ Ghosts of the Past magical quirk ] was
taking its toll. " I

Tempt of Black: Kana got to the top of the tunnel and simply stepped aside,
letting the others make their way up. She observed for a short moment, before
immediately taking the chance at a spell. With hardly a turn of her eyes, the

Tesarik One: One of the girls moves beneath a filament, which attaches to
the starfish parasite. The phosphorescense changes to an urgent pulse and a
look of agonized madness crosses the girl's face. Her hideous rider, slurping
and chittering
Lorin Blacklock: Lorinwas as stout as his line came, but there was a time
for reason. "We had one hell of a fight with the babies. These are likely
going to be the ruination of us. I think it best we leave and seal this place
beneath molten stone
Lorin Blacklock: and earth. There is nothing left of them to be saved."
Tesarik One: with satisfaction, as it drew the unnatural phosphorescense
from the parasitic star. They knew they were there, but for now the Elders
were ignoring them. But the parasites... well, dozens of tiny parasites
resembling starfish begin
Tesarik One: making their way across the chamber towards the group, in the
race to reach potential host creatures first.
questing requiem: know.. I know.. just a little time, need to plan.. " A
difficult thing to do when presented with the sight the others were ahead of
him in taking note of.. truly the man was horrified by what had been done to
those once-villagers.
Lorin Blacklock: That little tube they crawled? Made one hell fo a slide.
Ziiiiiiiiiiip!!
questing requiem: " ... Dreaded Ones. " -d
Lord Kissekatt: "I find myself agreeing with the dwarf. Dying here is not
part of my plan for the night. I've got others to think of, that would prefer
me to be alive." Right after the dwarf he went!
Onyx Dalliance: Well....when she saw those parasites.. she was beginning to
rethink her Strategy. She was waiting to see if they were leaving or
getting the hell out.she was standing by the slanted part of the tube.
Tesarik One: Everyone but Lorin roll a Willpower against the parasites
latching on.
Lorin Blacklock: Coming outta that tube-shute-tunnel thing like an
adamantine bullet. Shield up, axe held low, moving fast.....as a dwarf could.
Better sprinters than long distance after all.

Noble Artificer: (14)
Tesarik One: Baldur is safe as well since he zipped after Lorin down the
tube.
Lord Kissekatt: If Rohdle died here, he wouldn't exactly be able to go after
some misguided vengeance anyway.
Tesarik One: So that means Holly, Girard, Rohdle, Aiden... all failed.
Onyx Dalliance: [ and I fall down the tube since I was standing next to
it?jk hehe]
Tesarik One: You barely feel the tendrils drill through your skull and into
your mind. Some slight pain is felt when the parasite contacts a filament,
but even that is easily overcome. Then, the instincts and desires of the
spawn of K'har come
Tesarik One: rushing into your minds. Madness, agony, and disorientation
batter your sanity, as a rush of primitive chaotic power overwhelms you.
Those with magical powers find them magnified to a degree you have never

Onyx Dalliance: ver from. for now she was not really winning so to say.

closer in to the four infected and called up another spell (Spell: Here,

outside the egg, near the portal back home.

had so many, it was difficult to keep track of which was which. Aha, there it
was. A good ol'
Tesarik One: The power is diminished, due to losing touch with the filament,
but the four still have the parasites on their heads. Tiny things, surely
they could be hidden beneath a hat, or one's hair. Ripping them off will do

Lord Kissekatt: Obsidian Heart. He pressed right on his to go let Maria know

Tempt of Black: Kana moved forward and clapped Holly's parasite into

Lorin Blacklock: (-chuckles-)
Onyx Dalliance: She nodded to Kana."thank you"
Lorin Blacklock: (There is the mean kid at the playground)
Onyx Dalliance: [hehe]

Onyx Dalliance: [actually disappointed]
Onyx Dalliance: [shhh]
Lord Kissekatt: (Yeah Baldur got out first 'cause he's smarter than y'all.)
Tesarik One: Mwahahahaha....Two elder inkspydres, and dozens of lesser
inkspydres, along with half a dozen or so parasites are left in the God-Egg.
Lord Kissekatt: Precisely why he was already informing Maria that she should
arrange for it to be completely cleared out with fire and re-buried.
Onyx Dalliance: Nuke it from orbit.
Lorin Blacklock: A'kana.......could you know...just seal it by metling the
stone near cracks.
Lorin Blacklock: Jus' sayin'.
Noble Artificer: ::He had stomped his little tag along,..he really had
thought bout keeping it but in the end decided being some evil beings bitch
wasnt worth the power. So back to the inne he was heading.::
Tesarik One: Attached to their clothing were bits and pieces of the inside
of that egg, btw.... which plays into our loot you'll get.
Tesarik One: Even a short-term seal would work!
Onyx Dalliance: She was not sure if she was happy to have all this crap
over her armor and whatnot. She went to investigate what the heck was on her
clothing?
Tesarik One: Bits of chitin, black webbing, and a crystal that had a soft
pulse to it.
Lord Kissekatt: Well hopefully one of them would seal it temporarily until
it could be sealed permanently. Probably one of the magic users. Like A'kana!
Tempt of Black: Kana turned a look down to Lorin, then back across towards
the God Egg. "I can try.." Stepping forward, Kana leveled her hands and
pulled her magics in to play, setting a solid inferno of flame off to the
opening of the egg (Spell:

Tesarik One: But....
Tesarik One: The tiny creature's tendrils probed the stony ground ahead of
it, as its alien senses struggled to orient it on the mountain top. Unused to
its surroundings, the star-shaped symbiote found itself

setbacks, the little creature kept moving. It would find a suitable host
eventually. THE END.
