anything to do with this quest please hold them till after the quest or send

free to IM me or one of the mods! :)
Tesarik One: Introduction: Someone or something is sending the Heart on a
clue hunt. The last one took them not only to Wendhammer Weapons within
Navahla, but to the Knifedge Arena where they battled chess constructs and
came out victors. They
Tesarik One: each earned pouches of gold coins.....very pure gold, such as
the gold mined in Mountmend, a community of elves and dwarves. Upon the coins
was a cracked shield, emblazoned on the shield was a raven and elvish words
were written
Tesarik One: around the crest, those that could read elvish understood the
words easily enough, and they might have figured out it was written in elvish
because Mountmend was an elvish community, one of the largest in Tenebrus.
"One Hundred
Tesarik One: Ravens Guard Us Well." Our astute adventurers figured out that
their next clue must be near the Raven Tree, near Broken Shield. Our quest
starts tonight with the group continuing their following of clues, this time
setting off
Tesarik One: towards Broken Shield, it is still daytime, and they can easily
see the massive tree ahead of them down the road with a massive amount of
black ravens - and one white raven - roosting in the branches. (Begin RP)
DaemianBerazalle: ::He was in a bit of angst, seeming a bit unsettled and
more quiet than usual, withdrawn as he contemplated the course of the clues
they'd discovered so far, walking down the map that was forming in his head,
trying to learn if
DaemianBerazalle: there was any deeper meaning to the clues and the way they
were set about. Occasionally he'd turn to a face and smile out of nowhere,
as if realizing they were there for the first time and greeting each one::
-d-
Adal Ag Hamid: There was probably also a large cat cowering and hissing at
all those birds, but none of that was Adal's concern. He was tagging along
for another of these clue hunts, despite how the last one had turned out. He
was an optimist or
Roguish Luck: Logen was on horseback a top of Mik at this point. The Hell if
he was going to walk anymore than he needed to. The same went for his Gypsy.
The Bastard was strapped along the side of the horse as to allow room for
Violeta to ride
Adal Ag Hamid: something. And meeting new people was always fun, even if he
didn't talk to them! As usual, he was all veiled up, hands and eyes the only
exposed parts of his body, and he had on his heavier outer robe to keep out
the chill.
Roguish Luck: behind him. Arctic eyes set ahead towards the horizon staring
at the tree with the "black leaves" rustled. A deep breath was drawn in
through his nostrils and released in a slight sigh. "In my country... that'd
be a terrible omen...
Roguish Luck: Death waiting with his child patient as can be..."[d]
Violeta Capraru: Well, someone mentioned gold--so that explains why the
gypsy was along! Not really. In truth, Violeta came in with Logen, who had
experienced first hand the initial go-round with this anonymously gifted
treasure hunt of sorts..
Faithful Hammer: ::A clue'in they will go a clue'in they will go, hi ho the
derry oh a clue'in they will go! He was wandering along with the group his
head tilted some as he looked around. The gloved hand rest with a thumb
hooked into the belt worn,
Faithful Hammer: chainmail was the armor for the moment, the warhammer slung
across his back.:: (D)
A Feral Prince: Small particles of debris began to waft up from the ground,
rolling and twisting on the winds caused by those brave souls venturing out
into what very well might be their own macabre end. Leaves, dust, dirt, all
of it swirling and
Tesarik One: Yet oddly in this town, it was the opposite, the wise folk of
the village always saying that if there were ever less than a hundred ravens
in the tree dire calamities would befall them. If anyone decided to count,
there were 99
Tesarik One: black ravens.
Violeta Capraru: and to say she was intrigued would be an understatement!
While she wasn't quite tall enough to get a good view over Logen's shoulder,
the distant tree would not be lost to her, nor would the single 'white' raven
amidst the mess of
Adal Ag Hamid: In his country this would be an awesome omen, since it was a
tree. They didn't tend to be around very much in the desert! Or maybe it'd be
a bad omen after all, it'd just be too damned weird.
A Feral Prince: snaking upwards beginning to take shape beside Daemian. Each
piece stretching and shifting as it merged with the others until there,
beside Dae strode a man crafted fro the loose earth elements. With one soft
chuckle the earthen
A Feral Prince: cast broke apart to reveal the true being beneath. Wide
azure orbs glanced to Logen as he offered a charming smile. "Though I dare
say we are not there Master Logen, so fear not simple birds." The man
carried no weapon, bore no
A Feral Prince: load of gear. Truth be told he looked more suited to be on a
noble fox hunt than out on a mission. Knee high black riding boots with a low
heel, supple black leather trousers, a wide red sash belt, and a long sleeved
white shirt
Violeta Capraru: them. No, no counting.. the view was enough of an omen.
Logen's words certainly added to that. Remaining quiet, the springy-haired
gypsy took in all she could of the others--most of which were complete
strangers. Of course a huge
A Feral Prince: that had to be silk. "Master Daemian, it is good to see
you again. How is that memory?" -d
Violeta Capraru: smile was given each as cinnamon eyes made their way about.
-d-
Tesarik One: As they approached, a handful of ravens took off to the sky,
circling above, while the others rested on limbs or in their nests. The white
raven moved from high branch to high branch, head cocked, watching them. It
was the largest
Tesarik One: tree in the area, a massive oak.

DaemianBerazalle: Ahh, William. I must say thank you. The memories have
been coming back in a steady stream. So much I remember and yet . . . well,
perhaps as I acclimate over time my abilities will return to their full
strengths. ::He gave a
Tesarik One: 15+ would catch sight of something that blended into the mass
of birds and tree limbs, a brown rag tied to a branch about 10 feet up.
DaemianBerazalle: slight nod to emphasize his hope in the statement as he
looked around, trying to pick up anything of note:: -d-
Roguish Luck: "Too true..." Logen offered a simple smirk, letting one hand
away from the reins to set upon Violeta's thigh in a soft pat. Logen looked
towards the rag for a moment and then spurred Mik on over to the tree. "Think
you can reach
Roguish Luck: that from here?"[d]
Adal Ag Hamid: He tilted his head when he spotted that...something,
squinting up at it, then tapping Daemian on the shoulder and pointing up at
it.
Faithful Hammer: ::He looked up along the tree then blinked seeing the
rag,..yeah no way he was goina reach it or even the lowest branch to climb up
there. Head tilted then he looked towards the one on the horse moving over.::
Mighty Gar thog: ~he lurked near the back, in human form, wearing a green
hooded cloak, wrapped around his robe, smelling of lavender oil, for those
with great smell, staring up at the rag~
DaemianBerazalle: ::He clapped Adal gently on the shoulder, looking to where
the man pointed. As he considered climbing the tree, he watched Vi and Logen
to see if they would make progress on obtaining the cloth, calling out to
them:: Mind the
DaemianBerazalle: ravens, now.
Violeta Capraru: Vi saw it too, the rag hung not so far up. Letting her eyes
focus on it, even through their approach, she'd grin a small bit. "I think I
could.." Shifting up, she'd use his shoulders to steady herself, drawing her
legs up and in to
A Feral Prince: William looked from one of Maria's beloved to the next,
watching to see just how they acted, and with whom they acted with. He was a
curious one, often unable to set aside his voracious need to learn all that
he could. Forcing
Adal Ag Hamid: He probably could climb the tree, but he wasn't very
confident about it, as it wasn't one of those things he had a lot of progress
with. Maybe sooner or later one of these clues would lead them to his home,
and then he could show
Violeta Capraru: settle her boots beneath, standing where once she sat.
Logen was left to keep Mik steady, legs finding their bearings through little
sways as both hands went about trying to untie the rag.. -d-
A Feral Prince: himself to resist the urge to flick a finger at the rag, he
instead brought one hand up to idly pick at the underside of a nail. Eyes
blinking as he looked to Dae again. "If ever you find yourself in need of
more, I believe that I
A Feral Prince: can arrange a small jaunt through your mind. Only if you
wished..."
Adal Ag Hamid: 'em! He watched the person attempting to get the rag, but he
also glanced over to William and waved hello, smile showing in his eyes.
Tesarik One: The rag opened, and on it was painted a map of the nearby town
of Broken Shield. There was a dotted trail from the tree into town, to behind
a building just inside the town and a small bit of writing
Tesarik One: beneath the map in dwarven.
Violeta Capraru: She'd hand it down to Logen, and then gingerly found a
reverse of the actions that got her up. Bum met it's prior spot.. granted,
she was leaned up and peering as best she could over her consort's shoulder
at that point, too.
DaemianBerazalle: ::He observed the progress being made as he looked back to
William, motioning to Adal:: William, this is Adal, one of the new friends
I've made here. A good fellow, though he doesn't speak much. ::True, Dae
had never heard him
DaemianBerazalle: speak, therein lies the jest:: As for my memories . . . I
remember how I got here. I could attempt it again, once I'm stronger, but is
there anything to return to? Are any of them alive? It took me fifty years
to arrive here,
DaemianBerazalle: did the same time pass for them?
Violeta Capraru: "There's the road, but what the Hell does it say?" She
could speak anything, but reading the shit was an entirely different story.
-d-
Tesarik One: They were gonna be out of luck if no one could read dwarven!
Roguish Luck: "Can I see it?" Logen offered his hand towards her wanting the
map and direct---... Can't read Dwarven.[d]
Violeta Capraru: Already handed it to Logen.. -d-
DaemianBerazalle: ::His ears perked up hearing Logen and Vi, chuckling
softly as he looked over to Thorrin:: Thorrin, my friend . . . by chance, do
you read Dwarven? -d-
Adal Ag Hamid: Hopefully the dwarf could read dwarven. Maybe one of them
would recognize it and hand it to the dwarf! He peered at Daemian curiously
when he was introduced to William, whom he had already met, and Daemian was
even there! Perhaps
Adal Ag Hamid: this memory thing they spoke of had something to do with it.
Faithful Hammer: ;:Hearing that it was in Dwarven then Daemian's question he
gave a nod,:: Lets hope I can,..otherwise I know many that would hit me with
very hard tools.::He walked forward to the horse holding a gloved hand up.::
Faithful Hammer: Not to mention shave my beard and call me a stocky
gnome,:;he quietly grunted to himself but had a partial grin while waiting
for the map.::
Roguish Luck: Logen tossed it down to Thorrin easily enough while remaining
on the horse. "Have at it.."[d]
Faithful Hammer: ::He caught the map and would glance down towards the
writing, head tilted some.:: Bring the head of that chain wielding bitch
LazMorta to the village green. She's holed up under the town. See map above.
Hurry. ::He folded the map
Faithful Hammer: up then held it back up,:;that is all it says. (D)
Mighty Gar thog: ~he simply stood back and watched. His skills were unneeded
thus far, so, no reason to call attention to himself, although he did watch
the Ravens~
Violeta Capraru: Vi looked back up at the white raven, mocking it's tilted
head with her own. Talk about a cursed life.. being a white raven. Huh. When
the new fella began his translation, however, Vi's attention twisted over and
down to him.
DaemianBerazalle: ::He took note of everyone who was present, taking note of
their placement and activities. One of the advantages of his returned
memories is some of those senses came back. Those he knew already he could
tell who they were by more
Violeta Capraru: "LazMorta?" -d-
DaemianBerazalle: than just their scent, it seemed. He could smell their
blood, almost feel its pulse and he shook off the feeling. It had been too
long since he felt that sensation. It unnerved him a bit and he came back to
the conversation and
Tesarik One: They had a name, a map, a direction..... would they keep
following these clues or give up and head back to Maria? Afraid of a chain
wielding bitch??
DaemianBerazalle: he looked over to Vi hearing her speak of the white
raven:: Isn't Falqun a White Raven?
Faithful Hammer: Never heard of the name myself but that doesn't mean
much,::he glanced around towards the others.::
Adal Ag Hamid: He frowned a bit at the language in that note, then thought
about that. So they were apparently to do someone's execution work. Hopefully
the person deserved it. His attention was caught by that cat hissing
particularly loudly at
Roguish Luck: "First and foremost... Why do we want to hunt someone down..?"
Logen looked towards the rest of them. "Have any of you heard of this
woman..?"[d]
Adal Ag Hamid: the white raven up in the tree, then scampering off to cower
someone. Attention brought back when Logen asked if they'd heard of the
woman, to which he shook his head.
DaemianBerazalle: Chain-wielding woman, hmm? ::He thought on it a bit,
looking to Logen:: Plenty of reasons to hunt someone down, only a few to
hunt them and remove their head.
Violeta Capraru: She perked. Did she say anything about a white raven? Maybe
it was a random comment, but she looked to Dae and nodded just the same. Yes,
she thought Falqun was, anyways. -d-
A Feral Prince: Folding his hands neatly into one another and setting them
against the small of his back, William closed his eyes for a moment. Those
nearest him would feel a slight charge to the air around him, a soft heat
that sent tingles along
Adal Ag Hamid: This discussion on the white raven was silly, to him, and he
looked over to William. He was going to sign, but the man had closed his
eyes! Oh well. Hands stayed idle.
A Feral Prince: exposed flesh and rose the fine hairs on their person.
(Spell: Cabalistic Font)
A Feral Prince: "Who is LazMorta?"
Tesarik One: And the answer would come to him!
Faithful Hammer: ::Well even the hairs on his beard seemed to twitch before
giving a shrug,::no idea.
Mighty Gar thog: Village green... chain could lead to a shackle, or
collar... we should seek out da female peacefully. ~expected to be shouted
down, as usual~
A Feral Prince: William's eyes snapped open and for a brief moment those
once round pupils had been thin obsidian slits, a small shake of the end of
his nose, like a feline twitching unseen whiskers as a soft melodic chuckle
escaped through parted
Violeta Capraru: Vi's shoulders and knees shivered inwards just before she
sat up straight, a run of chills zipping up her back. Was it the breeze, the
freaky ravens or something else? She had no clue. -d-
A Feral Prince: lips. "No, no, I apologize my friends. I was asking
myself." His eyes returned to normalcy as he blinked and walked slowly
around them. "LazMorta is a kyton, sometimes known as a chain devil.
Sadomasochistic creatures
Adal Ag Hamid: Adal would shout him down louder than everyone else, if he
could read sign language. Nah, he wouldn't, he was a peaceful fellow! He
looked amongst the others, then stretched out a little, once again declining
any sort of command on
Adal Ag Hamid: account of the inefficiency with which he could communicate
directions.
Tesarik One: At that display of arcane power, the ravens began to caw, and
more took flight and circled above. The White Raven hopped down further, as
if trying to follow the hissing cat.
A Feral Prince: who control chain with a thought, and enjoy mutilation and
torture of those weaker than they are. They roam looking for victims to
torture and are almost always evil. I do hope that clears the air."
Adal Ag Hamid: The bush the cat was hiding in hissed, but it certainly
wasn't coming out again yet, particularly with all those birds now taken to
the air. He looked back over to William when he started speaking, brows
furrowing at that before he
Adal Ag Hamid: nodded once, then signed a response. "Clears it for me.
Something that terrible should almost certainly be stopped."
A Feral Prince: A sly glance given to Adal as he would give a faint bow of
his head. "I do so completely agree."
Violeta Capraru: She'd eye William, then looked back ahead. "Clears the air
enough for me. We have a head to take." Grinning, shifting it out into a
smile. -d-
Faithful Hammer: Crystal clear,::he frowned raising his hand strokingthe
braids of his beard. THe frown deepening just a little before pacingsome.::
DaemianBerazalle: ::He looked over to William as he was speaking, tilting
his head slightly as he spoke what seemed to be an answer. He turned inwards
once more, connecting the dots of this clue to the others, shaking his head
gently as he
DaemianBerazalle: contemplated the matter. Knife Edge . . . Broken Shield .
. . Raven Tree::
Mighty Gar thog: ~he just coughed and nodded, figuring she would likely
attack them on sight~
Violeta Capraru: "Alright, so who's leadin' the way, mm?" Her attention slid
to the one who'd read the map before. The one who might still be holding it..
-d-
Tesarik One: Decision made? To town they'd need to go. They could see it
just down the lane.
Adal Ag Hamid: He'd certainly have fun with the map, he did like maps. To
town it was, however, he could at least lead that far if nobody else was
going to. He started walking along down the lane!
Tesarik One: The map would lead them right into town, and around behind one
of the buildings in the market section of the town. The dotted lines led them
right to a set of double doors that led down below the
Tesarik One: building, a cellar no doubt. The doors were closed, but they
were not locked and could be easily opened. Once opened, the first thing
they'd smell was the distant scent of garbage. It was dark, no light
Tesarik One: source at all where they'd need to proceed.
Mighty Gar thog: Strongest fighters should lead, dwarf and elf speakers near
da front...
Roguish Luck: Logen pulled the reins around the side away from the Dwarf and
down the lane Mik would take them, taking a slow going pace. "Chess pieces,
demonesses... And a buncha crow..."[d]
Faithful Hammer: ::He was moving beside Adal and unfolded the map since it
was never taken back. Glancing down to the path they were now following he
fought the urge to whistle. When the doors were opened once reaching the
destination he moved down a
Faithful Hammer: step looking into the darkness waiting to see if anything
could be seen. In his free hand he already had the warhammer unslung, as was
the anvil and hammer pendant now resting over the chainmail armor.:: (D)
Adal Ag Hamid: He eyed the map since the dwarf was next to him with it, then
held his hand out, indicating he'd be happy to take it if the dwarf didn't
want it! It didn't seem all that complicated, really, but he always liked
having new maps, even
Adal Ag Hamid: simple ones.
Violeta Capraru: When they'd arrived, Vi brought one leg over and let her
leather covered rear slide from the saddle. Boots planted, leaving hands to
right her gear in the couple of steps that followed. Outside of the doors?
The darkness was stared
Faithful Hammer: ::And he passed off the map, a nod given to the quiet
monk.::
Violeta Capraru: in to with disdain. No sunrods. No darksight. Great! -d-
Tesarik One: The steps down would take them into a dirt floored area, not
much to be seen though a path had been made in the dirt leading to the right,
which took them into a tunnel.
Adal Ag Hamid: He offered a bow of his head and signed a thank you, and then
they were at those doors! He folded the map up carefully and tucked it into
his pack, then peered at the darkness once the door was opened. He slipped
his moonglobe
DaemianBerazalle: ::He had no visible weaponry, loving the use of his cloak
and the freedom in weight it provided him. He peered into the darkness of
the cellar, still not having entered it as he activated his Darksight(60 ft.
Darkvision)::
Faithful Hammer: ::He was moving down the steps, the spectrum of his vision
changing to that of darksight.::
Adal Ag Hamid: flashlight from inside his pack and hooked it to one of the
straps, then clicked it on and started moving on down the steps!
Tesarik One: And yes, it is dark, so please make sure you state how you are
seeing, if you are seeing!
Faithful Hammer: (60ft Darkvision with darksight)
Roguish Luck: A solid and anchored rail would find Mik's reins tied around
it after the Northman had stepped off the beast. Logen took his Bastard and
set it about his form with the harness and made his way down in to the
cellar. He since he was
Adal Ag Hamid: He'd click it on to the setting where the rod part of it lit
up, though, since that'd probably be more like a torch and be easier for
everyone else to see by that light. Though after a moment, he handed it to
Violeta, if she wanted
Adal Ag Hamid: to take it, since if they got into a fight he'd want to turn
it off and make himself less visible anyway. Which of course would not be
good for anyone else relying upon it for their own eyesight.
Mighty Gar thog: ~he simply reached into a pouch and pulled out his
moonglobe light, to show a path~ Dis may help...
Roguish Luck: a little slower than the rest, he didn't mind taking up the
rear of the entourage. "The shits always want to fight in the dark.."[d]
Violeta Capraru: Muttering herself in unintelligible Voivan, the little
obscenity was left outside just before stepping forward. Both falchions
started to come out.. though the movement to free them fell off once yet
another new face offered a
Tesarik One: The further they traversed the tunnel, the stronger the scent
of rotting garbage got, until finally it became such a horrid stench that it
made their eyes burn, and stomachs twist. (Endurance Check DC15)

Roguish Luck: Logen isn't gonna make it all that far. His hand came up to
cover his mouth and nose as his eyes set to watering from the strench

A Feral Prince: Fingers went quickly back into motion as he signed back to

Adal Ag Hamid: He nodded in agreement with William's assessment of common,
maybe that'd be a good enough reason for him not speaking it, even though he
clearly understood it! Anyhow, finding nothing at all, he just continued on.

Adal Ag Hamid: He moved over to the edge of the pit and peeked down, then
heard that clinking sound and stepped back, slipping down to a crouch and
removing his blindfold once more to start putting it on, and offer up another

Adal Ag Hamid: he had a bit more time to prepare for battle this time

Violeta Capraru: Vi was still sitting at the pit's edge, not having dropped
into the pit at all.
Faithful Hammer: ::And now that he was near the beast, the hammer was turned
and he brushed his fingers over the etched anvil on the head of the hammer. A
roll of the hammer given to loosen up his wrists, eyes narrowing as another
prayer given up to
A Feral Prince: Nodding like he just offered up some pearl of divine wisdom,
William gestured towards the pit and stepped back.
Tesarik One: As they plotted, there was another pained cry, a little louder
this time from whoever she was torturing down there.
Faithful Hammer: the soulforger. Not one for healing, no a prayer to hep him
in battle against the demonspawn.::
Adal Ag Hamid: That seemed like pretty good logic to him. He smiled faintly,
lips still moving silently under that veil in his prayers, which he'd
continue until they either drove the thing up here, or decided they should
all go on down. Or if
Adal Ag Hamid: they did nothing for long enough, he didn't like that whole
torture thing going on. He just wasn't crazy enough to hop down there by
himself unless he decided he needed to.
Violeta Capraru: Vi took her eyes from Logen over to William. "Clearly he
would not send the woman?" Okay, that make her huff, snicker and in part roll
her pretty little eyes. Sadly, she'd not rush in there if Logen though he
could draw the bitch
Violeta Capraru: out. She'd show some restraint... for a few more seconds
anyways! -d-
DaemianBerazalle: ::He just grinned as he heard William, looking to Logen
then and nodding gently:: So, you distract him, I come in behind him and
keep him busy while the rest chip in where feasible. We need to free
whatever or whomever is down
DaemianBerazalle: there, and from the sounds of it, sooner rather than
later.
Roguish Luck: Logen gave another slight chuckle. Eyes moved from William
towards Violeta with a smirk. The Bastard was withdrawn and Logen hopped on
down in to the hole, letting instinct take over in the darkness.[d]
Tesarik One: There was more rattle of chains, and then a piercing scream
that faded into a pained moan.
Mighty Gar thog: ~he smiled, watching vi, as she decided to not charge, and,
since the mages idea had sense to it, he did not argue with it~
A Feral Prince: "Lady Violeta, I have only been in this world a short time,
but I know what a romantic endeavor looks like when it rides in before me."
William watched as Logen jumped into the hole. "......what a horrid idea of
trying to lure
Faithful Hammer: ::And as Logen dropped in he would adjust the hammer, the
leather tong slid over his wrist before gripping the hammer again.::
Adal Ag Hamid: Well that wasn't really getting the thing to come up here,
now was it?
A Feral Prince: her up here. I do wonder what else the man means to do but
says the opposite." Looking to Vi, he gave a soft sad expression. "Poor
thing."
Tesarik One: Down the hole he went! Sliding down to the hole which he shot
through, and found himself surrounded by a veil of chains around him.
DaemianBerazalle: ::He wasted no time, rolling forward over the ledge,
landing in a smooth roll as he started towards where the sounds they'd heard
were originating::
Violeta Capraru: Vi started to count silently... Logen had a few moments
before she'd jump in and head after him. He likely knew that. When William
piped up again, Vi slid her eyes in his direction. She'd say nothing in the
time it took to stand up,
Tesarik One: The chain veil obscures any view further into the chamber.
Pulling a section aside reavels yet another veil of chains hanging in a
circle around it.
Faithful Hammer: ::He gave a sigh and shook his head,:;so much for not going
into the demons lair,::he shook his head glancing over towards William and
chuckled.::
Mighty Gar thog: He will attackm den retreat, you foul.~said matter of

Adal Ag Hamid: This was almost enough to get him to speak just to ask how
the hell he planned to get back out after jumping down the hole, but,
well...he was trying to be devout.
A Feral Prince: William, now annoyed, looked over to Gar. "Attack. Then.
Fool. I begin to think you blunder through your words on purpose."
Tesarik One: When Logen gets through the chain veils enough to spy inside
the room, he sees the back of a six foot tall female garbed in chains, her
back to him, torturing a kobold.
Faithful Hammer: ::Sometimes being Devout was a bitch.::
Tesarik One: Logen, do you wish to attack or hold?
Violeta Capraru: and to grin slowly. "Somehow you know my name and assume a
romantic endeavor would keep him sheilding me. Maybe you'll learn otherwise
if you hang around enough." She watched back down at the pit, listening. -d-

Roguish Luck: The Bastard was put away and a hand reached down in to his
boot and slipped out the Saxe knife. Logen stepped on over towards the body
and gave the rat a swift kick. "Out of the way, peck!"[d]
Faithful Hammer: ::He turned and as they were taking the head he began to
search the area in silence.::
Tesarik One: It flew across the way and landed against a wall, and scurried
to hide behind one of the kobolds hanging from chains tortured by the kyton.
Adal Ag Hamid: Shame William was gone, he could've had him interpret for
him. Although it seemed he got his point across well enough, since Logen was
moving over to take care of things. He stepped back so as to not be in the
way.
Tesarik One: Torrin would find a unlocked chest full of 550gp beneath the
kyton's hammock.
Adal Ag Hamid: Oh right, kobolds! He'd go tend to them, if any of them were
in healable condition. He'd even use his healer's kit to give him some extra
oomph with which to do so, since he was pretty spent, angel-wise.
Mighty Gar thog: ~assuming he saw nothing as yet, he stepped into the combat
area, still using true sight~
Tesarik One: There were three of them, one was very near death the others
very wounded, but all able to be healed.
Roguish Luck: With a severed neck, the Saxe knife would make short work
carving through tissue and muscle, finding that last bit of grit before the
blade was seen again exiting the other side in the sawing motion. Eventually,
the head would come
Roguish Luck: free and Logen would sling it over towards Adal. "There ya
go."[d]

their next one. He was careful to keep watch for any sign::

giving 6 to the near dead one, two each to the others, and probably getting
pelted in the back by a severed head)
Violeta Capraru: Vi slid her blades home and stepped off a few paces,
tipping her head to crack her neck a bit. She'd watch the rat go flying,
smirking to that, and then viewed the beheading.... Yup. She still wished she
had some freaking rum. -d-
Tesarik One: The only things on the kyton's body Logen would find was the
kyton armor, which could be removed leaving her nude, and a ring on one
finger that was a magic item that had given her wings.
Roguish Luck: Yoink.[d]
Tesarik One: There were a stack of other crates in the chamber as well, but
they were just stolen food stuff.
Tesarik One: The kobolds, once healed enough to slowly climb out, would make
their way out after giving a thanks to the monk.
Tesarik One: So.... some loot......the bitch's head, all they had to do now
was climb on out and get through the garbage and take the head to the village
green!
Adal Ag Hamid: He gave a bow of his head to the kobolds and saw them on
their way, having not reacted to the flying severed head apart from from a
bit of a stumble when it hit him. He looked down at it, eyes still golden
from his healing..they
Adal Ag Hamid: seemed to be staying like that longer and longer each time he

Faithful Hammer: ::A shrug to himself gathering the rest of the goold and
made his way over to stand near Dae and Adal.::
DaemianBerazalle: ::He chuckled softly as Adal brought him the head and with
a shrug he took it, using its hair to tie it to his belt, nodding to his
friend:: You should never shy away from a trophy, my friend.
Roguish Luck: The Saxe would be cleaned off and set back inside his boot
while Logen picked the inventory from the dead. Eyes went to Violeta for a
moment with a raise of his brow before he looked to the rest of them. "...You
all ready?"[d]
Faithful Hammer: Specially one that was so well earned.
DaemianBerazalle: ::He gave a nod to Logen as he heard the question, rolling
his shoulder some as it still had a bit of a sting to it. He shrugged it off
though, making ready to strike a path back out of this place of misery and
death::
Adal Ag Hamid: He shook his head a little at that. He wasn't a trophy
collector, nor was he the type to be proud of his kills. Satisfied at the
outcome, however! She wouldn't be causing any more torment, and that made it
an acceptable loss of
Violeta Capraru: Vi gave Logen a small grin, then started out towards the
pit to climb her way out. She'd not go too far, keeping pace with the rest of
them pretty well. -d-
Violeta Capraru: (This is where I have to cut out. Work isn't too far off..

Adal Ag Hamid: life! Still though, no severed head carrying for him. He
started heading on back out.
Mighty Gar thog: ~shrugged, thinking this trip was rather more annoying than
productive. at least he lost no gold or treasures this trip~
Tesarik One: So up they went, and back the way they'd come through crypt and
garbage, and dead otyughs, and out of the underground system. Waiting in the
village green was a dwarf wearing the attire of a
Tesarik One: blacksmith. He was tapping his foot on the ground, as if
waiting. When the group came forward with the head of the chain devil, he
grinned wide and pulled out a pouch of coin, offering to Dae. "Enough for ya
Tesarik One: all in there. Now then, I was supposed to give ya something
else." He searched in his pockets then pulled out a folded parchment and
handed it over to Adal. Upon opening, it was a map to Maze House.
Tesarik One: Something quite illegal to even own! "I don't really want the
head if you want it." He shrugged.

the pouch, studying him and putting his scent to memory as he gave his
thanks, divying the gold among those who had come and helped::
Adal Ag Hamid: He lifted a brow when he was offered something, then cleaned
off his hands as well as he could and took it, unfolded it, then his eyes
showed his smile when he saw it was a map. He had no idea it was illegal, but
it was a map! He
Adal Ag Hamid: showed it to Dae since he knew he liked maps as well.

(Begin RP)

A Feral Prince: load of gear. Truth be told he looked more suited to be on a

Violeta Capraru: them. No, no counting.. the view was enough of an omen.
Logen's words certainly added to that. Remaining quiet, the springy-haired

Violeta Capraru: smile was given each as cinnamon eyes made their way about.

raven moved from high branch to high branch, head cocked, watching them. It
was the largest

Violeta Capraru: Vi saw it too, the rag hung not so far up. Letting her eyes

legs up and in to
A Feral Prince: William looked from one of Maria's beloved to the next,
watching to see just how they acted, and with whom they acted with. He was a
curious one, often unable to set aside his voracious need to learn all that
he could.

A Feral Prince: himself to resist the urge to flick a finger at the rag, he

::True, Dae

DaemianBerazalle: speak, therein lies the jest:: As for my memories . . . I

to arrive here,
DaemianBerazalle: did the same time pass for them?
Violeta Capraru: "There's the road, but what the Hell does it say?" She
could speak anything, but reading the shit was an entirely different story.

Tesarik One: They were gonna be out of luck if no one could read dwarven!
Roguish Luck: "Can I see it?" Logen offered his hand towards her wanting the

Violeta Capraru: Already handed it to Logen.. -d-
DaemianBerazalle: ::His ears perked up hearing Logen and Vi, chuckling
softly as he looked over to Thorrin:: Thorrin, my friend . . . by chance, do
you read Dwarven? -d-
Adal Ag Hamid: Hopefully the dwarf could read dwarven. Maybe one of them
would recognize it and hand it to the dwarf! He peered at Daemian curiously

even there! Perhaps

Faithful Hammer: ::He caught the map and would glance down towards the

LazMorta to the village green. She's holed up under the town. See map above.

Faithful Hammer: up then held it back up,:;that is all it says. (D)
Mighty Gar thog: ~he simply stood back and watched. His skills were unneeded

Violeta Capraru: Vi looked back up at the white raven, mocking it's tilted

the new fella began his translation, however, Vi's attention twisted over and
down to him.
DaemianBerazalle: ::He took note of everyone who was present, taking note of
their placement and activities. One of the advantages of his returned

Violeta Capraru: "LazMorta?" -d-

long since he felt that sensation.

Violeta Capraru: Vi's shoulders and knees shivered inwards just before she

freaky ravens or something else? She had no clue. -d-

myself." His eyes returned to normalcy as he blinked and walked slowly
around them. "LazMorta is a kyton, sometimes known as a chain devil.

Tesarik One: That eyestalk moved a bit, watching the group.
Violeta Capraru: Turning from her lean, she'd let her shoulders meet the
curve of the tunnel wall, tipping her head back to bump lightly in to it.
"Fuck yeah.. bring it." She spat it out on what was a barely there breath. No
nausea was good nausea.
Violeta Capraru: -d-
Roguish Luck: Magic. Logen narrowed his eyes for a moment and then simply
nodded.[d]
A Feral Prince: Those that took to his aid would find that their breathing
became less labored, that the knots in their insides unwound and relaxed.
With that fey allure, William prowled past them to meet the others within the
darkness.
Adal Ag Hamid: An eyestalk? Oh dear. He produced his blindfold from within
his pack and slipped it around his eyes, tying it at the back, because
eyestalks so rarely meant anything friendly. He made his way closer to
Daemian as well so he'd have
Adal Ag Hamid: someone he was fairly familiar with to lead him 'til the
fighting inevitably started.
Tesarik One: As they continued to move through the curving path through the
reeking garbage, towards that eyestalk, there was movement and a massive
disgusting creature burst up through the pile, sending foul trash, rotten
food, offal and other
Tesarik One: nasty shit everywhere. It was an otyugh, with two tentacles
that ended with filthy fangs. A massive fanged mouth opened wide, as one
tentacle reached out grabbing Dae and lifted him off the ground, letting
those dangerous claws dig
Violeta Capraru: The queasiness fell away, letting her to breath in a bit
and relax the tension from what felt like everywhere. "I need a flask of
rum." Muttering in Voivan, she'd turned enough to let her light find Logen,
assuring he was still with
Tesarik One: into him as it brought him towards his mouth.
A Feral Prince: Both of his hands went to the front of his shirt, pulling it
out slightly as he looked down at the precious fabric now stained and ruined.
A faint trace of anger ripplng across his sharp features as he looked back up
to the
A Feral Prince: thing. "Truly? My shirt? Whatever did it do to deserve
such?"

OnlineHost: Tesarik One rolled 1 100-sided die: 27
A Feral Prince: "Dough?" William tilted his head to one side. "I do not
wish to seem overly rude nor is it my intent to offend. Perhaps this tongue
burdens you, but the correct word you seek, is though. T-H. Common can be a
tricky thing."
Tesarik One: Torrin you found a citrine gemstone. Vi you found another pouch
of gold, 12gp. Gar you found a pouch of gold, 10gp. Adal found nothing of
note.
A Feral Prince: A quick wink and William was strolling around after the
others, taking his own time and finding his way in his own means.
Adal Ag Hamid: He nodded in agreement with William's assessment of common,
maybe that'd be a good enough reason for him not speaking it, even though he
clearly understood it! Anyhow, finding nothing at all, he just continued on.
Tesarik One: As they moved forward still they came into a crypt. The archway
they passed through seemed to have been opened up through the wall at some
point. Human sized sarcophagi fill the room, their lids unlocked or smashed
open. Any
Faithful Hammer: ::He looked over the citrine and then tucked it away safely
in his belt before rising and moving along. A quiet muttered prayer to
Moradin the Dwarffather given to heal the minor injuries he had suffered in
the fall.::
Tesarik One: baubles inside have long been discovered by the kobolds that
laired down here. The most unusual thing about the room though is an odd
shaped pit in the middle of the floor. Shining a light down into the hole
reveals that the wide
Tesarik One: opening tapers down to a 10 foot wide shaft. If they listen
carefully, they can hear the tinkling metallic noise of something hitting one
another, and a low pained moan, but nothing can be seen in the chamber below.
Mighty Gar thog: ~and people wonder why he doesn't bother to speak much, nor
seem to be overly friendly to the heartless slayers. He suspected what was
down below, but said no more~
Violeta Capraru: Shining a light down into the pit? Why yes, Vi did that
upon reaching the opening.., tipping her head to the sound just barely
hitting in at her ears. "..." A small look to the others then.. before she'd
hunker down, take a seat on
Violeta Capraru: the pit's edge and ready to drop in to it. -d-
Roguish Luck: Logen smirked as he came to look down toward sthe opening.
Eyes went over towards the others. "...Think I can get her to come up.."[d]
Tesarik One: Dae 0/40 [22] || Adal 0/19 [16] (0/12) || William 0/57 [20] ||

Faithful Hammer: It would be better to bring her up here than we go into her
lair,::he looked over giving a nod.::
A Feral Prince: Leaning over to peer down into the darkness beneath, William
spoke softly to Logen, as he stood beside him. "I do believe that is your
role in this. Big man with a big weapon. One would think you should be at the
front of such.
Adal Ag Hamid: He moved over to the edge of the pit and peeked down, then
heard that clinking sound and stepped back, slipping down to a crouch and
removing his blindfold once more to start putting it on, and offer up another
silent prayer, since
Adal Ag Hamid: he had a bit more time to prepare for battle this time
around.
DaemianBerazalle: ::He stepped quietly from the shadows, peering down into
the shaft for a moment, looking to them all. They were already devising a
plan and he listened, seeing if there was anything he could add::
Mighty Gar thog: ~tried to not laugh, since Vi had jumped in already. again,
why he wanted a leader, before they ran like a crazed lot into danger~
A Feral Prince: Clearly you will not send the woman. Master Adal attacks
only when no other option seems available. Master Torrin already went into a
dark hole. The silent one, I frankly do not trust. Dae should continue to
lurk and hope for a
A Feral Prince: stealth attack. As for me, I will do what I wish when I feel
the need."
Not one for healing, no a prayer to hep him
in battle against the demonspawn.::
DaemianBerazalle: ::He wasted no time, rolling forward over the ledge,
landing in a smooth roll as he started towards where the sounds they'd heard
were originating::
Faithful Hammer: ::He gave a sigh and shook his head,:;so much for not going
into the demons lair,::he shook his head glancing over towards William and
chuckled.::
Mighty Gar thog: He will attackm den retreat, you foul.~said matter of
factly~
Roguish Luck: [ Hold ]
A Feral Prince: William shook his head once as he signed to Adal. "Why can
he not sign?" With that said, he followed the rest down into the dark hole
of cahin-like death.
A Feral Prince: *chain
Adal Ag Hamid: Sadly he had his blindfold on so he didn't see that. Ready to
fight and all, during which times he was extra devout.
Tesarik One: Who hasn't jumped down yet?
Violeta Capraru: Everyone else, I believe)
Adal Ag Hamid: Just about everybody, if not everybody.
Faithful Hammer: ::Yup he had went down the hole as well.::
Tesarik One: Does anyone who went down the hole wish to attack first?

Tesarik One: Standing near a chained kobold with a slight grin on her face
is the kyton they were seeking, seen more clearly as she turns around to
stare over at those that have entered her lair. A humanoid woman
Tesarik One: covered in various chains which squirm and writhe as if living
snakes. She wears little besides the chains, and the chains constantly cut
into her flesh then heal, leaving her body scarred. Her eyes
Tesarik One: are a solid color with no pupils.

sliding down into my next? Pretties to enjoy?" The chains that hung as veils
began to twist and writhe, several of them snaking over to
Adal Ag Hamid: (Ha! He's too pretty for her.)

Adal Ag Hamid: Er...pass for now. He had no idea what was even going on!
People were jumping around all willy nilly and he heard conversation.
Tesarik One: William-
Tesarik One: As to the question from Logen, laughter was heard in the
chamber.
A Feral Prince: William frowned slightly as Dae's blade cut through the
illusion. There was far more to the being known as William than he would let
anyone see all at once. Closing his eyes and tilting his head backwards, he
let the olfactory
A Feral Prince: ability of his kind guide him to where it was that LazMorta
was hiding. (Skill: Scent)
Roguish Luck: Well, shit. Logen had witnessed nothing come to fruition from
Daemian's attack. It was just an image. His mind was trying to peace it
together and then there was the Kobold. [d]
Tesarik One: Up in a corner on the ceiling, using a magic item that had
given her wings, her back pressed to the ceiling was LazMorta.
Tesarik One: Torrin-
A Feral Prince: "LazMorta, my dear, you can hide from many things......but
not me. She is there." William pointed to where his nose guided him.
Tesarik One: The kobold was real, and near death. Just alive enough for her
to enjoy tormenting.
Tesarik One: She hissed and then grinned and blew a kiss to William.
A Feral Prince: "Yes, perhaps another time, I think it high time for you to
see a dwarf about a hammer."
Faithful Hammer: ::Having seen the illusion then hearing William he turned
looking up giving a grin and tilted his head rolling the hammer letting the
thong of the handle pull taunt before slapping the handle back into his

Tesarik One: Logen-
Roguish Luck: Well, she had attempted to snag up Logen with those chains.

everyone could get
Roguish Luck: up close and mean with her.[d] [ Strike or Contested Strength

Tesarik One: No they were the chains from the veil, she had been hiding at
that time!
Tesarik One: Change action?
Roguish Luck: [ Sure. ]

Roguish Luck: Logen simply raised his right hand and lifted his middle
finger towards LazMorta. "Can't smell the blood that far away, bitch.."[d]

Mighty Gar thog: Pass, still up top., simply watching the opening and
looking about at the area.
Tesarik One: LazMorta-
Tesarik One: There was laughter from the sadomasochistic woman as she
lowered herself down to the ground, and a clipped eared rat ran out towards
her, hiding behind her feet. "Thank you, Xorx." She trailed her
Tesarik One: scarred fingers down the chains across her front as she licked
her lips slowly, looking at each and every one of them. Then four chains from
the chains around her body jerked away from her, forming nasty

twirling a solid slash in along the woman's collar and up, catching her
throat.

broke her neck before her chains could do much about it. She fell backwards,
a final moan as her body writhed then she grew still as did her kyton armor.

Tesarik One: Her familiar, Xorx, the big clipped ear rat ran out of his

Roguish Luck: The Bastard was put away and a hand reached down in to his
boot and slipped out the Saxe knife. Logen stepped on over towards the body
and gave the rat a swift kick. "Out of the way, peck!"[d]
Faithful Hammer: ::He turned and as they were taking the head he began to
search the area in silence.::
"There ya
go."[d]
DaemianBerazalle: ::He took a moment to gather his senses, casting around.
Were there any clues to be had, or would the delivery of the head give them
their next one. He was careful to keep watch for any sign::
Faithful Hammer: ::He gripped the handles lifting them and carried the chest
over placing it down then nudged the lid open with his toe.:: Found this
under the hammok,::he knelt down and would take a hundred of the coins
putting them in a pouch and

Adal Ag Hamid: (Using one charge of healing kit to get 10 healing points,
giving 6 to the near dead one, two each to the others, and probably getting
pelted in the back by a severed head)
He looked down at it, eyes still golden
from his healing..they
Adal Ag Hamid: seemed to be staying like that longer and longer each time he
exerted himself like this! Over to Dae he went, to tap him on the shoulder
and point at the head. He had..issues lugging around a severed head, maybe
Dae'd do it for him.
He shrugged it off
though, making ready to strike a path back out of this place of misery and
death::
Work isn't too far off..
need Zzz's!)
Tesarik One: (Ok! thanks for coming!)
Violeta Capraru: (Thanks for hosting! :) nini)
OnlineHost: Violeta Capraru has left the room.
Tesarik One: --We can end it here! Y'all can keep rping if you wish, and
decide if you wanna keep the head.---
Faithful Hammer: (Night and it was fun as always)
DaemianBerazalle: ::He gave a polite bow of his head to the Dwarf as he took
the pouch, studying him and putting his scent to memory as he gave his
thanks, divying the gold among those who had come and helped::
Adal Ag Hamid: He lifted a brow when he was offered something, then cleaned
off his hands as well as he could and took it, unfolded it, then his eyes
showed his smile when he saw it was a map. He had no idea it was illegal, but
it was a map! He
Adal Ag Hamid: showed it to Dae since he knew he liked maps as well.
Faithful Hammer: ::And he passed out the gold evenly he had found, a hundred
for each and well a little something for the fall since he found the trap the
hard way! Dwarves do love their gold.::
DaemianBerazalle: ::He looked to the head, then over to Adal, shrugging
slightly:: You can always present it to Maria as a feat of accomplishment.
::Gesturing to the head with what he spoke of, examining the map that Adal
had brought over to him
DaemianBerazalle: then, arching a brow and nodding:: Keep that tucked away
for now. Don't let anyone know you have it.
Tesarik One: That map'll get them locked in the dungeon!
Tesarik One: Log Off
