Tesarik One: Log On
Tesarik One: OH Quest: "Wizard's Retreat"
Tesarik One: Your leader is Pamela.
Tesarik One: If you have questions please IM me, or Andy, as we both can
probably answer questions.
Tesarik One: Estimated time is 2.5 - 3 hours.
Tesarik One: You can die on our adventures and there are consequences if you
die.
Tesarik One: Make sure your char sheet is updated!
Tesarik One: You can't go "fixing" it up once we start! If it's not listed
you do not have it and this includes mundane gear. Pulling 50 feet of rope
out of your ass is painful and illegal!
Tesarik One: Otherwise state your info: Rank, Name, Dice,
Tesarik One: Hit Points, Defense DC, Healing Points if applicable. You will
need to keep up with your own self-healing points.

Tesarik One: If you were given a potion (10hp healing) last night by Maria
and it wasn't used, you can use it tonight or save it. Just put it on your
dossier under consumables.
Tesarik One: The Wizard's Retreat is an extradimensional space kept by a
wizard long ago. The space is rumored to contain unimaginable wealth and
knowledge, but no one can find it. At least, not until now. Maria
Tesarik One: has ways and means beyond most of the common folk if the area,
and it was through her massive array of contacts that she found someone that
knows where the retreat is located. The catch? The group is
Tesarik One: asked to chase off a group of bandits that are harassing the
local main road where the contact lives. Chase off, kill, capture - any of
the above or a combination as long as they stop their harassing
Tesarik One: and thievery of folks in and out of the town. Of course, Maria
agrees and calls her adventurers to meet at the Port Union office, to take
them right to the main road into the village! (Begin RP)
a merciful edge: Oh cool, extradimensional space! That never went wrong at
all. Well at least chasing off bandits was a much easier thing to do than
tinkering with that stuff. He got his usual gear ready, then headed on down
to the port. (brb)
a merciful edge: Port Union office* (still brb)
a vision bereft: Joelle listened to the job description, and had a thought
that it would be good if they could get rid of the bandits without killing
them. Being a merciful sort, when it came to humanoid creatures really, she
didn't think that
Tesarik Five: Getting word that there was need of his services Rohdle
gathered his things and made his way to the meeting point. Swords strapped to
his back, dragonhide armor protecting his body, and today, he actually had
that bow on him as
a vision bereft: killing was always the answer. She got her gear together as
well, and headed alongside Kyle to the Port Union office, and gave a silent
nod to Maria as she waited for the others.
a vision bereft: (Change font)
tempestuous fist: ::Seemed they were off to another mission and so Kevin
popped up ready to go and take on the task yet again. Feeling better from the
last quest, he'd pat himself down and recheck all his supplies before
arriving at the area. Hearing
questing requiem: Always a catch, every deal maker knew this, in Girard's
experience his side usually got the worse end of the deal. He listened, took
a few mental notes when his mind let him be attentive, and generally wound up
at Port Union to make
Tesarik Five: well. Though oddly it seemed he had no arrows to fire from it.
Never the less he was ready to go as he looked around, seeing who may be
there already and offereing a small nod of his head to those he saw.
tempestuous fist: that they were going after badnits, he slowly nodded to
this.:: Sounds like fun. -d-
questing requiem: that trip of to ... wherever it was. Dammit. He'd missed
that part.. well there were bound to be others, he'd follow them! -d
Tesarik One: Maria was waiting for them all as usual, and offered a final
bit of direction for them. "When you get rid of the bandits of which I am
told there are anywhere from 3 to 6 of them, no one seems to be exactly sure,
then head into the
Tesarik One: village to the Alchemy Shop. The owner was a friend of the
wizard's and it is he who will give us direction to the retreat once the
bandits are taken care of. Now, be careful as usual and work together." She
motioned to the portal
Tesarik One: which opened, showing a quiet stretch of road overhung with
trees that had lost their leaves and looked like skeletal hands cupped over
the long dirt road.
a merciful edge: Well at least Joelle oughtta know that he, at least, was
not going to be killing any of the bandits. He sent a little smile to Maria
when they arrived. He was rather excited to be fighting humans for once, all
the undead and
a merciful edge: monsters weren't as exciting. Through the portal he went,
as soon as it was opened! At least it wasn't all covered in snow.
Tesarik Five: Rohdle had no problem with killing others, so long as it was
for good reason that is. Every man must die at some point, and there is no
use in letting a theif live, only to take up their pestering of others
somewhere else. He gave a
questing requiem: Listening up, best he could at least, Girard at least took
note of the matter of the bandits' apparent numbers and the order to get to
the Alchemy Shop. Girard wound up turning to the rest of those gathered for
this.. paticularly
a vision bereft: Joelle knew! She gave him a smile, and then listened
carefully to Maria as she adjusted her pack. Her seax was at her hip in a
horizontal sheath, and her shawm poked out of her pack. She moved up beside
Kyle and leaned over
a vision bereft: whispering to him, then when the portal was open, stepped
through.
Tesarik Five: small nod of his head to Maria when all was explained, only to
step through the portal, letting those elven eyes of his slowly scan the
area, taking in just where they were at the moment.
questing requiem: whose he knew..which at varying levels was all of them. "
Well whats the plan.. kill or capture in regard to the bandits? " Well might
as well have a plan so they did not appear disorganized and at odds. -d
Tesarik Five: "In most human cultures, is it not customary to remove the
hands of theives?" Simple point made of course.
a merciful edge: "Capture." Said with finality. He looked over to Rohdle at
that comment about hand removal and wrinkles his nose. It was painful and
disorienting enough losing a finger. "I'm also not cutting off any hands
unless by accident."
Tesarik One: As they stepped out, the portal closed but there was a shimmer
in the air as per usual, which showed them where to head back to when they
wished to go home. It was quiet, and mid-day as they stepped out, and the
forest was thick on
Tesarik One: both sides, though not so thick as to keep them from moving
easily through it if they decided to get off the road.
Tesarik Five: Hearing someone say to capture the bandits he shook his head,
wanting to make his point of view known he spoke up again. "If you capture
them, they will only get free and return to their life of crime at some
point." Though despite
questing requiem: " Is it? Place where I grew up made the thief eat their
hands.. " Which left a sour expression even on Girard's face. He'd nod over
to Kyle, well it'd be majority rules then.. presumedly Joelle wouldn't be for
murdering the bandits.
questing requiem: -d-
a merciful edge: "Are you assuming we'd just be capturing them and releasing
them? Of course not, they should be imprisoned, and rehabilitated if
possible. They could yet do some good in the world, killing them would not
allow them to."
Tesarik Five: that, if the group wished to not kill them, well he'd do his
best not to kill them then, though there really were no promises. "Move in
silence, unless you want to be ambushed." And no, he was assuming they'd be
captured, and then
a vision bereft: "Capture. Unless they cannot be captured and will not
surrender and attempt to kill us." She wasn't sure if they were just thieves
or actual murderers. But she moved along, once she'd said that, now in
silence as she peered into the
tempestuous fist: Why don't we get there first and see how dangerous they
are and if their willing to change their ways and make our choice then. In
either case we'll be fighting them and there isn't any promise that any of us
are coming back. Less
Tesarik Five: at some point escape or be released for serving time for their
crimes. Rohdle was no simpelton. He knew those who lived a life of crime were
hard pressed to change.
a vision bereft: forest on either side, then looked to the road to see if
there were any signs of where they might be.
tempestuous fist: we're over confident and know we can handle them. For now,
do what we need to get this village safe and make it back alive.
Tesarik One: Who is in charge of the group?
a merciful edge: There was no unless for him, he was not killing them, nor
was he going to negotiate the point. "Would inviting an ambush not save us
the trouble of searching for them." He grinned. Moving silently was not
something Kyle was very
a merciful edge: good at, now that he was feeling better. They were
certainly welcome to stealth away from him if they liked, and set up a
counter ambush!
Tesarik One: No one? Well then. Everyone roll a Listen.

Tesarik One: 12+ can hear voices off to the left of the road, quiet voices
only because they are so far away.
a merciful edge: He tilted his head when he heard something, since
apparently he was the only one who had! He looked over in that direction.
"Someone's off that way. Hard to say who or what they're doing, but it could
be our bandits." And well...he
a merciful edge: kept to the road, but kept an ear out for whoever it was.
Tesarik Five: Rohdle simply shook his head to that, sighing just a little
before he stepped off to the side. Looking to the trees in the area as he
thought to use them as cover while the others did as they wished on the road.
Though when someone
OnlineHost: Tesarik One rolled 1 20-sided die: 8
Tesarik One: For now, they remain unheard by the bandits.
questing requiem: As was a disturbing habit of the minstrel, he couldn't
hear anything over the song in his head. Thankfully he wasn't humming along
to it this time. Perking up at the sound of Kyle's voice, he blinked off in
that direction. " We
tempestuous fist: ::Hearing what one had to say, Kevin knew that some wanted

a merciful edge: If they were just regular old bandits, he'd dealt with
their kind before, which is why he was just fine walking right into their
territory. If he turned out to be wrong and took an arrow for his troubles,
well that'd be his problem,
Tesarik One: Kevin is in stealth mode right now.
Tesarik Five: spoke of hearing voices he looked, letting eyes follow the way
the man pointed before he would use the trees, as well as any brush or
overgrowth in the area to hide as he moved closer to the voices he'd not yet
heard. (Stealth)
OnlineHost: Tesarik Five rolled 1 20-sided die: 5
a merciful edge: but bandits in his experience enjoyed marching out and
surrounding their targets and making threats. So he didn't at all try to be
quiet as he continued along the road. He could be the bait!
Tesarik Five: (+6 = 11)
Tesarik One: As they moved forward towards the sound of voices, they'd be
able to spy a group of folks around a fire. Three individuals, two were
female. One tall human male, one elven female, and a shadowkin female. Three
horses were tied up
Tesarik One: nearby. As of yet, they had not heard them approach, and Rohdle
was completely silent. They have a choice, go ahead and start attacking, or
attempt some other means of contact with them.
Tesarik One: They = your group.
a vision bereft: Elle crept forward, finally arriving behind the bushes
she'd hide behind as she peered out at the camp. Were these the bandits? How
could they even tell? Maybe they were just travelers. She glanced over at the
others, staying
a merciful edge: Had anyone else stayed with Kyle on the road or did they
all go sneaking off all stealthy?
a vision bereft: quiet, then looked back at the group trying to determine
exactly what was going on.
questing requiem: Girard was still with Kyle, gathering the focus to cast a
spell at that.
questing requiem: Since battle was expected out of this, Girard took the
oppurtunity to exercise his shadowcasting capability. [ proceeding with spell

to that now he looked back to the three around the fire, watching them as he

a merciful edge: Well if people were all sneaky and he wsa the only one not,
he'd serve as a distraction. That was one thing a swordmaster was good at. He
started strolling right for the people camped around their fire. "Hello
there!" He even waved.
Tesarik Five: find any signs that they may be the bandits. (Spot or
Insight...Whatever applies to this check.)
a merciful edge: Hopefully Girard didn't mind sharing the center of
attention.
Tesarik One: Please remind me of the spell effect if you are attacked.
questing requiem: ][ Noted. ][
tempestuous fist: ::Kevin remained hidden as he'd move further in behind the

Tesarik One: The group around the fire were taken by surprise as Kyle
strolled in. The tall male unsheathed his longsword and the elven female rose
with narrowed eyes, fists forming at her sides. The only one that did not
stop what she was doing
tempestuous fist: +5 (if quickness applies )
questing requiem: Gathering up the shadowstuff from the conduit the minstrel
began to shape it into a semi-tangible form of defense around himself.
Acquiring a rather darkened hue to his skin tone by the time he realized
Kytle was doing something he
Tesarik One: was the shadowkin, who merely looked up towards Kyle then down
to the pot of food she was stirring.
OnlineHost: Tesarik One rolled 1 20-sided die: 16
Tesarik One: Kevin remains unheard & unseen.
Tesarik One: The male spoke first, "What do you want? This is a private
camp."
questing requiem: considered endless foolish. Well the poor bastard was
going to need some help. Time for the shadowy minstrel to try stealthing his
way to the camp! (stealth check)
OnlineHost: questing requiem rolled 1 20-sided die: 13
OnlineHost: Tesarik One rolled 1 20-sided die: 18
a merciful edge: He stopped short and held up his hands when the tall man
unsheathed his sword. "Well now, there's no need for all that, I've not drawn
my steel. Just travelling along, and I saw the camp. Rather poorly concealed
for a private
questing requiem: [ that +1 quickness won't help here. ha. ]
a merciful edge: affair, I must say."
Tesarik One: Despite the shadows, the shadowkin noticed Girard's movement
near camp. She was a creature of shadows ,it fit. Her skin was gray, her eyes
and hair jet black. She stared right at Girard then continued to cook.
Tesarik Five: His eyes fixated on the three, and as Kyle didn't seem at all
concerend with his own life he shook hi shead slowly. Reaching back he let
his thumbs slowly draw leather over mythril, drawing those swords from his
back and holding
a merciful edge: "You seem like pleasant enough fellows, and I'm rather
hungry. I was wondering if you might spare a bit of food." He did look extra
scrawny, still. It was believable!
Tesarik One: "Why must we hide our camp just because it is a private camp?
If we wished to put the camp in the middle of the road we have every right."
He still did not sheath his sword, and he began to look at him to see just
what he had on
Tesarik Five: them both firmly in hand. He'd let Kyle try his way first, and
if that didn't work, blood would spill.
Tesarik One: that could be stolen. A smirk was given to the elven female,
then he motioned him forward. "Come, have a seat, care for some whiskey?"
questing requiem: Well.. least the minstrel looked the part of a shadowkin,
sort of, himself when he went and forgot how to be stealthy. Dusting himself
off like nothing at all had happened he gave a glance Kyle's way. Well he at
least was going to
a merciful edge: "True, but if you don't want intruders, being out in the
open is a terrible idea." He grinned a little, and...really didn't have much.
His sword, and they certainly weren't getting that. Past that, his cloak and
clothing, and a few
a vision bereft: Oh Kyle, she held back a snicker when she saw him head
right into camp. She wasn't sure whether to just stay behind the bush, or
step in too but... she decided to follow Kyle. She rose and pushed noisily
through the
questing requiem: pretend that invitation was only to the obvious

a vision bereft: bushes. "Dear? Where did you go? Oh there you are." She
smiled innocuously to the group as she appeared, hands at her side.
a merciful edge: mundane supplies. He stepped forward when invited. "Rather
kind of you, but no, thank you. Too much of an empty stomach for whisk-" He
cut off when he heard Joelle and then glanced over. "Elle! Glad you could
join us, did you find
a merciful edge: anything to eat? These kind people just invited me over, if
not. I'm sure they're willing to share."
Tesarik One: The man grinned as Elle appeared, but the elven woman frowned
and narrowed her eyes again.
OnlineHost: Tesarik One rolled 1 20-sided die: 5
Tesarik One: The others remain unseen, unheard.
questing requiem: " Weaver's lies. " The fool bravery was contagious! Well
he'd already been noticed by one of them. So if he was going to be notable he
was going to be humming. Yes, time to join the duo.. musician's were best in
company right? -d
a merciful edge: "You know how to use that blade there, sir, or is it just
for show? I'm game for a friendly duel before dinner if you are." He grinned
all the more when Girard made his presence known. Well so much for Kyle being
the distraction, if
a vision bereft: "No, I did not, but this is very nice of them.. Hello. I'm
Elle." With her cloak on, she looked much less like a gypsy than usual which
was either a bad idea, or a good idea.
a merciful edge: half the group was wandering on in. "It's been a bit since
I've had a worthy opponent, and you certainly look the part."
questing requiem: Made his presence known.. sure.. the Shadowkin had totally
not seen him at all! No, couldn't possibly! " Oh, shut it.. just look at him
he'd flay you with ease. " Well why not.. when in doubt, play along! -d
Tesarik One: As yet another joined them, the man was getting suspicious and
stared at the minstrel as he appeared. "How many godsdamned people do you
have with you?" He pointed his sword at Kyle, then Girard and back again.
tempestuous fist: ::Hearing the banter between them, Kevin watched silently
from the shadows as his eye's looked over to the drow, wondering what it was
that she was cooking. Then his eye's looked up towards the one pointing his
sword, but as they
Tesarik One: "A duel? Hmm. I think....yes... I think that we will make it
even easier than that. Take off your weapons and drop them in a pile, and
anything else you have that is worthwhile. Jewelry, trinkets and the like.
And,
a merciful edge: "Well it is rather dangerous to be travelling alone, is it
not? I see no issue, we have three, you have three. Although perhaps the food
won't stretch as far, hm." He moved a hand up and scratched at his head a
little, thinking. He
Tesarik One: then we will let you three leave without harming you."
a merciful edge: lifted a brow at the man's demand, and then mid-sentence he
drew his own sword and swatted his right out of his hand. "That's quite
impolite." (Disarm)
tempestuous fist: continued to talk, he looked for anything that would
confirm they were indeed the bandits, then the dude had to say something,
confirmed. He'd now try to sneak up on the drow.:: (Sneaking up on the drow,
stealth? )

little. "Now how to you expect to take our weapons and valuables if you can't
even hold on to your own? I don't know that we're the ones that need to be

the others would put all
a merciful edge: that sneaking to good use.
questing requiem: Keeping the new fact in mind that adventuring with Kyle
was while exciting in its unexpectedness, it was a bad idea if he wanted to
keep his record. What record? He couldn't remember. What mattered was the

in his trophy room of course. But, it would be of the unwanted by the others.
If anyone wanted anything they were free to have it.
Tesarik One: ----As the group left, they were there at the small campfire
with a iron pot of rabbit stew. But, as they began to gather themselves to
head into town to get the info, they'd hear a soft "mew" "mew".
a merciful edge: "Going to kill them all yourself, are you?" He shook his
head a little, and well..they had to head to the village, yes? He'd start
doing that. Or was going to, until he heard the mewing. Time to check that
out!
Tesarik One: Listen Check, or Spot - up to you.
Tesarik Five: "Yes....I will, if needed." That Elf was arrogant, but he had
no doubts he could kill them all if needed. One at a time granted. He wasn't
stupid enough to take them all on at once. The mewing though had him lifting
a brow slightly.

Tesarik One: The others could not pinpoint the mewing, but Elle found them.
A little ways from the camp, tucked into a little den beneath a tree were 2
kittens. Rogue Bobtails by the look of them!
a merciful edge: Go Elle! When it looked like she'd found something, he
headed over to take a peek.
tempestuous fist: ::Kevin walked over towards the items that were laying out
in the open as his body lowered down to them. His hand going to pick up the

Tesarik One: Rogue Bobtail
Tesarik One: The Rogue Bobtail was named after the penchant for rogues and
thieves to train them to assist them in their craft, and due to it's
rabbit-type, short, curled tail. The length of this tail does vary;
Tesarik One: some have tails as long as four inches - however as they are
curved, it makes them look shorter. The longer the tail, the more rigid and
sensitive it is. As a rule, these cats don't like you to touch
Tesarik One: their tails! Rogue Bobtails are incredibly sneaky, and
intelligent. They are able to sense traps and will make a very odd rumbling
sound when a trap is sensed and stalk near the area, just beyond
Tesarik One: triggering the trap.
questing requiem: " Aww...kittens. " Alright Girard wanted to a pet, but
alas! He'd not been the one to noticed them at all. Maybe he was better off
acquiring a ghost cat? -d
Tesarik One: 2 rogue bobtail kittens up for grabs.
a merciful edge: Would very much like one, to go with Elle's puppies.
questing requiem: Girard definitely wanted a Rogue Bobtail.
a vision bereft: "Awww." She knelt down and pulled the two out, and looked
into the den to see if there were more. "They are so little." She stood up
cradling them against her, and looked around. "Anyone want to claim these
kittens?"
questing requiem: Which meant he was wondering if cats could lead the blind.
-d
a merciful edge: "If you think your dogs will get along with them, I'd love
to have one." A pet might do him some good! He looked at one of the little
kittens, and reached out to rub a finger against one of their heads.
questing requiem: So Joelle wound up with Girard coming up after that
question inr egard to the kittens. " I'd like one of them.. " Sappy grin
..terrible mix of expressions. -d
Tesarik Five: There was a nod to Kevin as he saw the man take up the ring.
Seeing no one else interested in the items it seemed he shrugged. Looking
over the pile then he took up the kama's, thinking they would make for a good
trophy as it were.
a vision bereft: "Well, they are still puppies so they might get along." She
handed one of them over to Kyle with a smile, and then handed the other one
to Girard with a wink. "You'll have to keep them warm and mother them a bit.
I think they are a
a vision bereft: little young to be away from their mother, but apparently
she is gone." She grabbed a weapon or so, and headed back out to the road to
go into town.
Tesarik Five: Hearing the others talking about the found felines he shook
his head just a little. One of them would of been nice, but he had no plans
of fighting the others to get one. In fact, he had his eye on a particular
beast that kept
Tesarik Five: it's hunting ground near his home.
Tesarik One: (If anyone needs or wishes to go, then that's fine, quest is
over. But, those that wish to stay we'll rp going into town and getting the
info. We will have to do the second part of this another night.)
Tesarik One: Log's Still Rolling!
Tesarik Five: (Night all then. I have work in two and a half hours. >.<)
Tesarik One: So, their mission accomplished (sorta), they were left wtih
going into the village to the Alchemist shop. They could show those weapons
in fact to prove they'd ran the bandits off! It was not hard to find the

so it could stay warm and cozy.
Tesarik One: Once inside the shop, the small white haired man looked over
the weapons they'd brought as proof of runnin off the bandits, and tapped his
hand atop the counter. He finally shrugged. "Deal's a deal." He pulled out a
parchment and
Tesarik One: began to draw a map of the village, and all the outlying homes,
and marked one in particular a few miles out of town. "Yep. This is the
wizard's house, pretty sure there's a family living there now though. But, if
ya go to the great
Tesarik One: room and stand in front of the hearth and say the command word,
a portal'll open into the retreat. Ya ready for the word? Best write it

say it slow." He
Tesarik One: paused, then began to speak some nonsense word it sounded like,
"Jabreth...olkanon....sveter. Got it? Jabretholkanonsveter."
questing requiem: Girard had somehow wound up the leader-ish person of the
group in the eye of this alchemist, or shop owner.. or both. After a blink at
having pen and paper shoved and slid into his hand and over respectively he
set about writing
questing requiem: that magic word down. " Ja-breath..Ja-breth...ol-kan-on
sweat...sveter. " He was trying to get pronunciations right! At the very
least it go wrote down after dipping pen in ink. " Is that all thats really
needed? " -d
tempestuous fist: ::Hearing the words, Kevin stared at the man for a moment
as he tilted his head to the side as he just blinked. :: Thats a new one. -d-
Tesarik One: "That is all, as for what's in there? There's rumors of course,
but no one knows. You might find an empty room." He shrugged, then began
putting a few things into a small sack. "Here ya go, a few things that might
come in handy."
Tesarik One: Some tindertwigs, and sunrods and a potion for each person!
Tesarik One: Of course, it had taken quite a bit of time for everything to
go down and it was close to evening. They'd have to come back and explore the
house. The portal awaited them outside town!
Tesarik One: ---end log---
a merciful edge: He committed that word to memory while keeping his kitten
all nice and close, also thinking on what to name it! "Thank you." Said to
the man for the information and the supplies! Both were quite nice.
Tesarik One: "Thank you. Those bandits are a pain in my wrinkled ass, trying
to get supplies."
a vision bereft: Elle let the others do the talking while she looked around
the shop, she did like alchemy shops, they had such interesting things. Once
the info had been given though, she bowed her head respectfully towards the
alchemist and headed

and it wasn't used, you can use it tonight or save it. Just put it on your

(brb)

that it would be good if they could get rid of the bandits without killing
them. Being a merciful sort, when it came to humanoid creatures really, she
didn't think that

popped up ready to go and take on the task yet again.
Never the less he was ready to go as he looked around, seeing who may be
there already and offereing a small nod of his head to those he saw.
tempestuous fist: that they were going after badnits, he slowly nodded to
this.:: Sounds like fun. -d-
questing requiem: that trip of to ... wherever it was. Dammit. He'd missed
that part.. well there were bound to be others, he'd follow them!
Less

there were any signs of where they might be.
tempestuous fist: we're over confident and know we can handle them. For now,
do what we need to get this village safe and make it back alive.

Muttered Girard, before glancing to the tall fighter. " Personally I'd rather
leave it at this and just ask that your group does something else for awhile.
Think about mercen-
questing requiem: ary work. " And Girard really had said all he had to at
that. -d
Tesarik Five: weapons and leave, and we will not kill you. This is your last
chance." He didn't care about the others at this point. There was to much
going on, though a smile was given to Elle as she healed him a little. After
all, one of those
Tesarik Five: who wished not to kill the bandits was set on still fighting,
when all the others had combat set aside. Twin swords were still held in his
hands, and as such he kept his eyes moving between the group, ready to defend
himself if
Tesarik Five: indeed the battle continued.
Tesarik One: Sabien snorted hearing Girard, then glanced over as the
shadowkin healed Quillon, the tall fighter. "Mercenary work doesn't pay as
well as what we do, unless you have contacts that we do not know about." He
turned his head, as he
Tesarik One: dismounted and folded his arms over his chest, listening to
Rohdle. He narrowed his eyes, this seemed a stalemate but there were more of
them than his group, and one wasn't even a fighter... Shelandra. He sucked in
a deep breath and
Tesarik One: shook his head. "We keep our horses." He finally said.
Tesarik One: Shelandra-
questing requiem: " As a matter of fact.. we might, if you don't mind
playing adventurer for awhile. Better loot to.. " Well why not recruit the
bandits, Maria had to have had some work fit for them away from civilized
areas! -d
Tesarik One: She took opportunity to give a little more healing to Quillon,
before moving over towards the elven monk to slide her hand briefly upon her
and heal her as well. (10 to Iomar, 8 to Quillon.)
Tesarik One: Elven Monk 6/28 [14] || Girard 0/30 [11] || Kevin 0/27 [15] ||
Tall Fighter #2 14/25 [13] || Kyle 3/27 [17] || Mounted Fighter #1 0/25 [15]

Tesarik One: 9/30 [12] (28/28)
a merciful edge: He scowled to Shelandra and sighed, then shifted out of his
stance. (Incite to anger ended)
Tesarik One: Iomar-
Tesarik One: Oh she was ready to strike Kyle, she didn't care what was going
on around them, then she felt the touch of Shelandra and frowned, then.....
she just didn't want to focus on him anymore, at least not by magic. She
moved in close to
a merciful edge: "Seems nobody appreciates a good duel around here. Half
tempted to find somewhere where they do." He gave a little salute with his
weapon to Iomar, then sheathed the sword on his back again.
Tesarik One: Kyle, lifting one hand to press the blade of her kama under his
ear, then stepped back now abiding by the orders of her superiors.
questing requiem: " Might be you should think about sending a representative
to our superiors. Consider it. " Girard at the very least was done with
this..waiting for the bandits to get moving. Should he have been kicking his
own people into knocking
Tesarik One: "I will duel, if it is not a duel to the death."
Tesarik One: She nodded to Kyle at the salute and turned, watching them all
now as she put her kamas away.
questing requiem: them out? Yes. But they'd never selected him as a leader
now had they? Handsome bastard though he was. -d
a merciful edge: "It's never a duel to the death, I'm not some bloodthirsty
savage."
Tesarik One: The elf grinned at that.
Tesarik Five: "Yes, you keep your horses. The faster you leave here, the
better." He didn't let his eyes move from the pair still fighting, though
when they finally put away their weapons he let his eyes move over tot he
rest of them, still not
Tesarik One: Sabien spoke. "We keep our horses, we give you our weapons? Is
that the deal?"
Tesarik One: Elven Monk 6/28 [14] || Girard 0/30 [11] || Kevin 0/27 [15] ||

Tesarik Five: putting his swords away. The bandits were still there, and he
had no desire to be attacked when not ready. They stole, lied, and probably
worse for a living. That elf would not trust them. "Yes...That is the deal."
Tesarik Five: -d-
a merciful edge: "Although it baffles me completely that we're just letting
you go when we were clearly winning." He grinned right back. "If I find out
you've been at some banditry again, I'll deliver you to the nearest dungeon
myself."
Tesarik One: "Do it." He commanded his fellow bandits. With a snort, Iomar
stepped forward and pulled out her kamas again, giving them a twirl, then
sunk the blades into the dirt and stepped back.
Tesarik One: Sabiel removed his longbow and quiver of arrows, and a
longsword and put them down, then went and mounted his horse.
Tesarik One: Sabien*
Tesarik One: Quillon, now healed quite a bit, pulled out his longsword and
stabbed it in the dirt, then pulled off a ring and tossed it down.
a merciful edge: "And how are they to hunt for food if we've taken all of
their weapons? Bare handed hunting is not at all pleasant, you know." Said to
the dealmaker.
Tesarik One: Shelandra placed her quarterstaff into the pile, but she was
not happy. At least they hadn't taken their defensive items.
Tesarik One: "Do not worry of our weapons." They had more, secreted away!
questing requiem: Nodding to the Bandit's tall leader, perhaps a sort of
thanks for complying. " Keep my suggestion in mind, you've got a talented
group.. stop wasting that talent. " As for Kyle's words. " Smart people
usually have caches, Kyle. Our
Tesarik Five: "That is not our problem. Our problem is removing them from
this area. Unless you'd rather not do that?" He said now to Kyle, and as the
weapons were placed down he finally put his swords away. Then went about
gathering up their
Tesarik One: They each went to their horses and mounted, and the elf pulled
the horse around to Kyle, "Perhaps we may meet again and have our duel to the
finish."
Tesarik Five: weapons, to keep them from them. If any in the group wanted to
keep some of the items they were more than welcome to them, he simply didn't
want the bandits to have easy access to any weapons at the moment.
questing requiem: worthy adversaries here have proven that much. But I
digress, we have a job to do. " -d
tempestuous fist: ::Seeing that they were lowering their guard down to
nothing, Kevin stared at each of them and a slow nod was given.:: Seems like
everyone got what they wanted. Well....We'll have to see the effect down the
road. -d-
Tesarik One: Sabien nodded to Girard, then tugged his reins around and took
off in a gallop. Iomar and Quillon took off as well, though Shelandra held
back for a moment, until they were out of the distance they'd hear her soft
voice. She bowed
a merciful edge: "Taking their weapons and letting them go is hardly driving
them from the area, particularly if, as Girard says, they have weapons
stashed somewhere." He certainly wasn't taking the discarded weaponry, he had
his sword. He nodded
Tesarik One: her head a little and spoke. "Do any of you need healing before
I go?" Awww.
a merciful edge: and flashed a grin to the elf. "Perhaps we shall."
a merciful edge: (brb)
questing requiem: Girard wasn't going to get moving until he knew the
bandits were on their way ..and even then he'd be glancing over his shoulder
...a lot. As for the offer of healing, he didn't know! Did any of them need
healing!? -d
Tesarik One: It might be enough to get the man to give up the secret retreat
though! They could lie to him and say they defeated them, the man wouldn't
know.
Tesarik One: Elven Monk 6/28 [14] || Girard 0/30 [11] || Kevin 0/27 [15] ||

tempestuous fist: ::Kevin looked down at him and he'd shake his head.:: I'm
alright. Are you? ::He asked as he looked at the dark skin healer as he
blinked at her a bit.:: -d-
Tesarik Five: "And if they do not leave the area, as the deal was....Then
they will be killed." Regardless of what the others wanted, he wouldn't hold
his blows again. Though as the woman offered to heal them he shook his head
just a bit to her.
Tesarik One: "I will be fine. That is rabbit stew, cooking on the fire. Be
well, and, I am sorry for beating up upside the head with my staff." Her grey
lips quirked into a slight smile, then she winked at Rohdle and headed off.
Tesarik Five: He was fine at this point. "For your sake, I do hope you
stress that to the others in your group." Said to the one lingering behind of
course. He didn't enjoy killing others, but he wouldn't hold back if it was
warented.
Tesarik One: "I shall." Said as she headed off to join the group.
Tesarik One: ---Pick up Loot available--
Tesarik One: 2 Longswords
Tesarik One: 1 Longbow & Quiver
Tesarik One: Quarterstaff
Tesarik One: "Ring of Circumvention" - A silver ring that allows one evade
per adventure.
Tesarik One: 2 Kamas
Tesarik One: IM me with your claim or I'll just divide it as I see fit and
you can use/sell it.
Tesarik Five: Rohdle, a collector of weapons, would keep something to stash
in his trophy room of course.
The mewing though had him lifting
a brow slightly.

a merciful edge: And not see jack shit. (3)
OnlineHost: a vision bereft rolled 1 20-sided die: 18
a vision bereft: Yay for Elle!
a vision bereft: +2 = 20
Tesarik One: The others could not pinpoint the mewing, but Elle found them.
A little ways from the camp, tucked into a little den beneath a tree were 2
kittens. Rogue Bobtails by the look of them!
a merciful edge: Go Elle! When it looked like she'd found something, he
headed over to take a peek.
tempestuous fist: ::Kevin walked over towards the items that were laying out
in the open as his body lowered down to them. His hand going to pick up the
ring.:: -d-
Tesarik One: Rogue Bobtail
Tesarik One: The Rogue Bobtail was named after the penchant for rogues and
thieves to train them to assist them in their craft, and due to it's
rabbit-type, short, curled tail. The length of this tail does vary;
It was not hard to find the
Tesarik One: small alchemist shop at all in fact, near the village green.
questing requiem: " Good advice.. and I think Eva may well enjoy the
companionship herself. " Well why not.. this would be a grand gift in his
mind! With a good deal of care involved at that. Once he had one of the
feline's, he'd be keeping the

questing requiem: little beast warm on the way into town and to the
Alchemist Shop! -d
a merciful edge: He took the kitten carefully to keep it all nice and close
so it could stay warm and cozy.
Best write it
down." He slid the paper over to Girard and the ink pen. "Here we go. I'll
say it slow." He
Tesarik One: paused, then began to speak some nonsense word it sounded like,
"Jabreth...olkanon....sveter.
Once
the info had been given though, she bowed her head respectfully towards the
alchemist and headed
a vision bereft: outside to wait for the others so they could make their way
back to the portal point.
a vision bereft: "Such a cute kitty." She said, sidling up to Kyle.
questing requiem: " You are welcomed, " Girard at least tipped his ...er..
head to the old alchemist. Really he needed to get a hat some day. But for
now it was back to warming the Bobtail, whatever else needed to be done, and
the trip through the
questing requiem: portal.. and trying not to wake a blind girl when armed
with a mewling feline. -d
Tesarik One: --NOW end log lol--
