Tesarik One: As before, this series of quests is run as if they were done

all on the same night. We are attempting to fix the machine that the modrons

built beneath Withernsea to keep the natural disasters at bay. The volcano is

rumbling, and if

Tesarik One: we do not refuel this machine then the city and the residents

that have not made it away will perish. Earthquakes, volcano, the sea all

against this city. Lorin has the spheres which need filled on each plane. We

have gone to Air,

Tesarik One: and Earth. on Earth we found Slag, a modron, who has come back

with us and shown Sister Mara how to open up the other portals to the other

planes. It takes 30 full uninterrupted minutes to fill

Tesarik One: a sphere. Mara will open the portal every 15 minutes (which is

played on the hour, 15, 30, 45). With Slag's help, the portal to fire has

been opened and the adventurers - that's you- are now able to step through

onto the Elemental

Tesarik One: Plane of Fire. Remember, the stone platforms protect you from

the harmful effects of the plane. So, as long as the platform isn't broken,

you won't burn to ash as soon as you step through! Mwahahaha... begin rp.

plane provided reason enough that 'Oskar' had taken the oppurtunity to

separate from the other adventurers while they'd gone off to the plane of

earth..to take his leave. By

fire opened he would stare at it, hand raised to rub the back of his head

into another plane. Some of the faces he knew, some of them he did not. Such

an attack or two while the tougher folks watched them get killed! He didn't

much like the thought of fire consuming him, so hopefully that platform was

Lorin Blacklock: to his shoulder his thick hand slapped the adamantine

clasp. The faint hiss and sharp clanks could be heard as the plates formed

and rolled out to consume his body. Concealing all of his frame behind a

he had two glassteel lenses that glowed a soft blue. That unique gem in the

Tesarik One: The portal that resembles swirling flame leads to a stone

platform 10 feet in diameter that rests atop a round stone pedestal about 40

feet across. The pedestal extends downward 100 feet into a

moored to the pedestal by two brass ropes. Three bipedal lizards and a large

humanoid construct of some kind look up in amazement. The lizards

behind.

Ashton Locke: for some others to go first and find out while he concentrated

on nothing in particulary, heading in after a few others had gone. And...well

good. Already there were lizards and giants. Frown.

Nobilis Arcanus: Hmm why do I get the feeling that the large one will not be

to thrilled that we are here,::he gave a faint smirk as his hand raised

stroking along the braided beard.::

Though seemed such was an unnecessary thought-process at the moment.. The

otherside though.. my my that wasn't what he thought would greet them. " That

since it might help a bit more here. (Spell: Water Shield, 4 point damage

right in behind them all. While she was moving, she took the time to cast a

spell on herself as quickly muttered feral would be heard. (Spell: Spirit of

the Stag +1 QCK) Once the spell was cast, antlers grew from between her

shaggy braided brown hair.

unearthly unholy fire. When the salamanders retreated, the hellfire golem

moved in towards those that appeared, heading for Lorin first giving a

time would start over, he cast his eyes quickly around. Seeing none to wuick

to jump to help, Lorin dropped the containers and ducked behind his shield.

a halcyon calm: Fire. It was logical to the wild druid that ice was needed.

Of course, she didn't know for certain and the monster seemed to be part

something devious and evil, but she drew her dark falcata and with a brief

few words the weapon crusted over with ice, jagged burrs of frozen frost

along it. She was young and weak, but she ran around the ground and attempted

to sink her iced over falcata into the beast.

Ashton Locke: He'd had the same thought, of course, because why wouldn't he?

It was all fiery, clearly cooling it off was the best scenario. Or dousing

it. Why not both? He concentrated on the area above the hellfire golem, and

attempted to pull

Ashton Locke: some hydrogen and oxygen out of the air to fuse them into

water! Surely both were present if they were breathing. His focus was

produced as he did this, and for the tricky part, he used it to help him aim,

then sent a blast of

Ashton Locke: energy that would slow the molecules of that water down

drastically and turn it into ice right as it hit the creature! And hopefully

doused it, then froze it solid. Science is fun!

Tesarik One: Ten other stone pedestals are scattered randomly around this

sea of flame, and no two of them are closer than 100 feet apart. Brass

galleons are moored to five of these pedestals, each of which has a

Tesarik One: large hole in the top. The lizardlike creatures and their golem

companions disappear down into these openings from time to time, reappearing

a short time later. Far in the distance, almost at the

Tesarik One: horizon, floats what appears to be an immense ball of

Tesarik One: brass.

Nobilis Arcanus: ::He looked over towards the one with the,...squirt gun and

gave a nod.::Well done,::he then was looking back towards Lorin.::How does

our time frame look? ::He was moving over to where Lorin was. Glancing back

in the direction of

Nobilis Arcanus: the galleons and then the brass ball for a moment before

looking down to the sphere.::

Tesarik One: While the salamanders were busy untying the brass filament

ropes from the galleon that was moored on their pedestal.... their brief

fight with the hellfire golem had drawn the attention of several of the other

galleons. Several

Ashton Locke: "Ha!" He grinned as the golem iced over, tucking his focus

away once again. It was absolutely not a squirt gun, the water hadn't even

come from it! He looked to Rhyss and nodded. "Well, you slowed it down. And

Halcyon here

of the heavens: Well! Not one of them needed help! In actuality, it was a

blessing. Seeing the flamey monster frozen in place, albeit with rather large

eyes, she nodded and looked to the others for direction from there.

Adventuring and .. well..

of the heavens: seeing what the Hell she was doing was all rather new to

her. -d-

Ashton Locke: distracted it for us." Kythin had probably done something too,

but that had happened when he was still strategizing. (brb)

Tesarik One: began moving towards them. The closest flew in quickly, at

least eight salamanders and one hellfire golem per ship seen.

scales change: " Too easy.. either these creatures aren't use to

incursions.. or .. " No matter.. no doubt there wasn't much more need to

concern themselves.. a thought that ended itself early on. Why? Because those

galleons were troubling sights.

Tesarik One: Before they knew it, one of the salamanders on the nearest

galleon was focusing on the group and a blast of fire was sent towards Eva!

Tesarik One: As the galleon moored where the other one had quickly moved

away, the five small flamebrother salamanders bearing fiery shortspears

rushed "ashore". The second one headed for Rhyss, and attempted to stab him

with it's small spear.

against all the flames being directed their way. Whatever the others might

have had in mind.. Kythin shoved a gauntled hand into the red bag at his

forearm.. and spread from there in order to envelop him. [ Bag of Flames - 3

a halcyon calm: All these critters, she had never seen such before, all

blazing with fire spears and such. She still had her cold laden falcata, and

when they broached the pedestal she wasted no time in running forward to meet

them. The small ones seemed more something she could fight, so she headed for

(Flamebrother 1) and slashed across the creature with her icy falcata.

didn't stray too far from the captain, but when Halcyon darted in, he spun
