Forcefully taken over nearly 25 years ago, the Avilon Islands belong to Doxenia. There are three main, inhabited islands in this small chain, the largest, crescent shaped island is Avalon, the middle island is Jade Hell, and the southernmost island is called Merde. There are numerous small uninhabited islands dotting the areas as well.
Avilon Islands are ruled by the Earl of Avilon Rex, appointed by the Doxenian Crown. The Mourne Family has lived on the islands for generations and as a show of good faith to the islands, allowed the former Avilonian noble to continue their rule there with a Doxenian appointment.
The standard for the Mourne family are three black roses in bloom around a white swan.
The Earl and his family live in Avilonia in the Earl's Court neighborhood.
-Earl of Avilon Rex, Lord Bartholomew Mourne & Lady Genevive Bardsley Mourne
Known as Lord d'Avilon & Lady d'Avilon
- Lord Jeffers Bartholomew Mourne, aka Lord Jeff [30 years old]
- The Honorable Thomas Bartholomew Mourne, aka Lord Thomas [25 years old]
- Lady Adelaide Genevive Mourne, aka Lady Dela [21 years old]
- Lady Cherith Victoria Mourne, aka Lady Cherith [19 years old]
- The Honorable Benton Bartholomew Mourne, aka Lord Benny [10 years old]
Upon the Islands of Avilon, the children of the Earl & Lady go by their surname of Mourne, but outside of Avilon, they use d'Avilon to show they are "from Avilon".
The Earl's younger brother, Quentin, lives in Albion and is the governing personage on that island.
-Lord Quentin Mourne, Baron of Merde
-Lady Igrine Mourne, Baroness of Merde
Jade Hell is governed by a Lord Mayor. The current Lord Mayor of Nine Hells is Vincent Pritchard, and the Lord Mayor of Suthend is Cyril Crowley.
There are two other major noble families in Avilon, the Pearce and the Cadbury. There are various minor nobles as well such as the Caerleon, Richmont, Bardsley and Stirling families. These are all the original nobles of the islands, and do not include any Doxenian nobles that relocated to the islands when it was taken by Doxenia, of which there are two: Southway and Meath.
Avilon is famous for it's horses, it's glassteel, shipbuilding and their diamond mines. Avilon diamonds are the purest, clearest diamonds in the known world.

NINE HELLS
The Nine Hells are geothermally heated ponds each having its own remarkable character and colour thanks to the variety of minerals in the outflows. These "Hells" are a popular vacation spot for Doxenians but are little known outside of the country. There is a small village located around these ponds simply called Nine Hell Village, and the constant steam erupting from the pools and cracks make it seem as if the village is "cooking". Some legends tell of the use of these ponds for torture and death of enemies by the ancients, or dark cults of the land.
Here are the nine ponds:
Ocean Hell: One of the most beautiful ponds here, it features a pool of turquoise water that resembles the sea. Its waters are 120 meters deep and 90 degrees Celsius hot, enough to cook eggs in.
Monk Hell: This particular pool features boiling gray mud, making bubbles that are said to look like the shaved heads of monks.
Stew Pot Hell: This pool is crystal clear, steaming hot water bubbling like water in a cook pot.
Mountain Hell: So much mud was spewed in this pond that it created a mountain in the center, surrounded by smaller light brown bubbling ponds.
Monster Hell: This hellish pond is moss green, and at least 50 crocodiles make this large pond their home.
Golden Dragon Hell: This bubbling pond's waters are golden yellow.
Snowy Hell: Surrounded by lush vegetation, the Snowy Hell is filled with boiling water, colored white by the excess calcium.
Bloody Hell: The large quantity of ferrous minerals on the bottom of the pond gives it a bright reddish color.
Spewing Hell: This isn't so much a pond as it is a massive geyser of boiling hot water that spews from a crack in the earth.

RAVENUS
There are villages that have secrets, and then there are villages that have secrets, and Ravenus is one of the latter. The village is inhabited by were-ravens and their mundane kinfolk, homid and avian alike. The kinfolk outnumber the wereravens roughly 20 to 1, and hold most of the positions of authority in the village. The wereravens tend to be traveling thieves, vagabonds and such who travel roughly a third to 2/3rds of the year and bring their spoils back to the village. They keep quiet around outsiders as knowledge of the village of raven-men would bring undo attention to the town.
