Our world is called Arith.
The continent where most of the countries are located is called Tenebrus. The continent where Thanes Desert and Kir'vir is located is called Asya North and Asya South. The ocean has long been searched in all directions and never has any returned with the claim of finding land. The sea is, by all accounts, in all countries, endless.
The most common religion is the "Common Church" which worships the Six Primal Gods, but all manner of lesser gods and goddesses are allowed. Madder folk worship their Serpent-King above all else. Those of Alzorc have their own Pantheon.
When thinking about the countries, here's a good guide of what sort of "feel' the country has:
Sarkotos - England
Zyon - Greece
Bryony - French-Italian with a hint of Turkish landscape
Kullyr - Sweden
Kyngfeld - Scotland
Madder - French / Louisiana Bayou
Rumeria - Netherlands/Russian
Skegg Islands - Faroe Islands

Anoi'Pua Islands - Pacific Islands

Kir'viir - Elven!
This is a huge land. It goes from arctic to sub-tropical. Think about how big it is from the eastern side of Russia to the western, it is a little bigger than that from top of Rumeria to bottom of Madder : 6000 to 7000 miles.
A good rule of thumb is that 2000 miles with wagons takes 4-6 months depending on weather, time of year, etc. The pioneers crossed the Oregon Trail usually in 4-6 months, 2000 miles.
Remember, though, there are monsters, bandits, rivers to cross, mountains to brave, swamps to trudge though, magical areas and such.... give yourself plenty of time.
Ballari Ridgeback Mountains are pretty much in the center. So, consider it one year of travel (at least) from the Ballari's to either bottom of Madder, or top of Rumeria, and go from there.
