Update 2.15
Greetings, OH Members!
I hope you all have had a decent week, and you're building great stories and enjoying each other's company. I for one am glad I'm going on vacation (yes, again, yay!). So, with that in mind, be aware that from this Wednesday the 17th till the 24th I will be out of town, with only my laptop. I'll have some free time to get online here and there but I won't be running quests and it just depends on what I'm doing as to if your XP and such gets added in a timely fashion. Rest assured, anything I do not do that week I will do when I get home. Between Jake and A, they will handle the quest nights, so look to them for information of that sort.
On a personal matter, it has been brought to my attention over the past few weeks that many of you keep going to Jake to complain about me-- what I'm doing, who I'm doing it with, how many characters I have, and who my friends are and whom I choose to "hook up" my characters with. That is very disappointing, since half or more of what he approaches me about is really none of anyone's business but my own, nor does it affect anyone but me. The other portion could be handled very easily if you came directly to me instead of pulling other people into it and making it a bigger issue than it really ever was. This not only causes me to wonder who the hell is complaining about who I roleplay with (and why do they even care?) but it also causes stress between Jake and I as he is forced to "confront" me with all these "issues" and I will admit, it pisses me off that people are so bothered by these things as to find a Moderator to approach, but not enough to actually ask me personally what is going on. Seriously, the amount of "issues" Jake comes to me about concerning my roleplay, characters, dossiers, and perceived favoritism sometimes day after day makes me wonder who has all this time to nitpick what I'm doing--- just enjoy yourself, your characters and your storylines!!
All this to say, if I am doing something, saying something, typing something, or befriending someone you don't approve of, or think that there is an issue, please come to me. Please. I beg of you, please stop going to Jake if you have an issue with ME, come to ME. We are all big girls and boys here, I promise you I can take it as long as you don't come to me with an accusatory, derogatory or foul attitude. If it's an issue I need to fix, I promise you I will fix it or look into it. If it's just you being a weirdo, I'll kindly tell you that it's none of your business you weirdo, Ha!
Let's put an end to the backbiting, suppositions and gossipmongering now as we all know what that does to a storyline or game - it ends it. I fight strongly against favoritism and always have as many who knew me in the past remember, so you can rest assured if you see something that you THINK is me showing favoritism, there is always an explanation, and there is no hidden favoritism going on. Ask me, I have no problems explaining anything and I want everything to stay above board in this game!
Don't forget, today is Sunday. If you have crafting skills it's time for you to ask for your crafting points. Remember that you may only use your crafting points for the particular craft you have them, so if you have Artisan points and Alchemy points, you may only use artisan for those type crafting, and alchemy for that type crafting.
SPRING RECRUITING BONUS
This is still going on! Any new character (remember, each player is only allowed at the most 7 PC's unless you've been given a freebie) will be allowed to start with 35xp, 2000gp, and 1 Healing Potion (10hp). This allows a person to start at Topaz Adept with a class AND a profession.
If you recruit a new PLAYER (not just a new char from a current player) into OH, you will be given a bonus of 10xp instead of the usual 5xp. And remember, you don't get any xp from "recruiting" yourself!
You are welcome to open recruiting rooms, but we don't focus on such things so that is just if YOU want to do it! I sometimes open an OOC Recruiting Room just so I can answer questions about the game.

UPDATES, PATCHES, CLARIFICATIONS
--1. COMBAT SECTION
The combat section has been broken up so that it is easier to read and find the information.
--2. DELAY ACTION ADDED
Delay Action: You have the right to hold your attack in a fight. Pulling yourself back and waiting for just the right moment. You must state this on your turn. When you do, your whole action will be held until your adjusted turn comes into effect later in that round. This action means that you willingly taking a position lower in the Combat Order. Once this is done, you may NOT undo it. You will be held in the position you asked for when delaying your action.
--3. NEW WEAPON ENCHANTS
In the Emporium you will find Vampiric, Acidburst, Agility and in the Crafting Section for CMI you'll find a bunch of new enchantments for weapons that ONLY crafters can do. Also for Artisan crafters there's Ornate, and Perfect Balance.
--4. NEW ARMOR ENCHANTS
Folding is a new enchantment in the Emporium for Armor. For crafters there's Beastskin and Comfort and for Artisan Crafters there's Environmentally Designed, and Ornate.
--5. LIGHTNING INITIATIVE
If you have this skill, note that the bonus is now +10, instead of +5.
