Some Basic Guidelines for Crafting Magic Items:
--1. This is for ENCHANTING magic items. The CMI Crafter does not have the items to be enchanted. You must bring all items for enchanting to the crafter. The prices are merely for the enchantment, not for the item itself such as weapons, armor, etc.
--2. When enchanting ANYTHING see the lists below as to what you can enchant, costs, and information.
No, you can't make items that are as cool as most loot items. There will always be some "powerful" "relic" items you get as loot that are amazing but you cannot craft them. If any crafter could make some of these relic items they wouldn't be relics now would they??
--3. Full Armor (the armor slot), Shields, Bucklers or Weapons can have up to FIVE points of enchantments from the Emporium List (Armor and Weapon Enchantments). Those are the ONLY items that can have all those enchantments. You cannot break up a suit of armor and give multiple enchantments to the helmet, the breastplate, the leg pieces, the gauntlets etc. That's not how armor works in OH.
--4. Slot items may be enchanted with one enchantment, such as a helmet can be a helm of comprehending languages, or boots can enhance acrobatics.
--5. If you purchase "Shift Enchantment", you may transfer a magic enchantment from items you've bought or gotten for loot, as long as the DM that gave the loot says it can be transferred. Such as a ring of cold immunity, may be transferred into a belt of cold immunity. It must make sense and this is UP TO THE MODERATOR. If the Moderator thinks that your transfer of enchantment does not make sense he or she can say no, and that is that. Final Say. Move on. Do not argue. The fact we do allow some transfers is a gift to you that we do not have to give. For instance, taking boots of stealth and putting that into a headband. No.
--6. If you are a CMI crafter and want to enchant something with an enchantment that is not listed, feel free to petition TesarikOne and PsionicWanderer to gain permission, and to find out costs.
--7. You may NOT craft Rezz Coins. Rezz Coins may ONLY be purchased from the Emporium at full price.
