Look for the ► to find crafting.
OUR CRAFTING IDEAL
In order to keep our game moving along at an exciting pace, we are going to do crafting a little different. Our way glosses over the realities of work-tool kits, alchemical reagents, laboratories, long hours of toil, and the like, though we all know that crafting in reality does include all those things. After all, fighting giants, demons, and dragons is generally a lot more fun than waiting for someone to finish crafting a new ring of protection.
Though this makes it appear as if the item was created "instantly," the assumption is that the character has actually been working on it for a while, but only now got around to finishing it. The system simply assumes that characters are always working on various projects in their spare time, whether between forays into the dungeon, while on the road, or even while gathered around the campfire after missions. Thus, when the time comes, they simply spend the requisite gold and craft points, and the item is "finished"
There are some things that do require time, such as shipbuilding. The time starts when you send in your request.
BASIC CRAFTING SKILLS
The following is a list of basic crafting skills; you must have taken one of these to even be allowed to craft anything for use or for sell.
Taking a crafting skill gives you 10 Crafting Points per week. Each Sunday you may claim your new crafting points by emailing the Treasury Moderator. He will keep up with your crafting points and gp spent on the character roster. No matter how many basic crafting skills you take, you only get 10CP per week. You may use them for any of your crafting skills such as Artisan Crafting, Craft Magic Item, Engineering Knack, Alchemy, etc.
HOW-TO CRAFT ITEMS
1• To craft an item, you must pay 1/4 the cost of the item in gold as it is sold in the Emporium.
[Note: If the item is not sold, then please check with the Treasury to find out the final cost of any given item, if it is not located on the charts below.]
2• You must also pay crafting points to create items per the charts.
3• Please be sure to notify the Treasury Moderator of any items you've crafted so that gold and craft points can be adjusted. You cannot use any items until you receive the "green light" from the Treasury Mod.
You may not USE or SELL anything you've crafted until the Treasury Mod has approved them.
CRAFTING REQUESTS
When you craft items, please use this to inform the Treasury Moderator. Please send one email for each type of crafting, in other words do all your Artisan in one email, CMI in another, Alchemy in another, etc.

CRAFTING MATERIALS
Choosing to use higher grade materials, or lower grade materials can make a difference in how things are crafted. This is OPTIONAL, but if you'd like to use this, be sure that it is placed in the crafting request email so that the Moderator can find it. If no grade is listed, it is assumed to be regular materials.
High Grade: These are good materials, very easy to work with, but also very expensive. Crafting CP cost is halved (rounded up, minimum cost of 1 CP) but gold price is doubled (1/2 item value instead of 1/4).
Regular: Crafting rules as normal.
Low Grade: Difficult to work with lower quality materials and it requires much more effort to use. Crafting points cost is doubled, gold price is halved.
SELLING ITEMS YOU'VE CRAFTED
• You can sell items you've crafted to the Emporium by contacting the Treasury Moderator. As with all items being sold back to the Emporium, there is a max amount you can sell back to the Emporium per week: 10,000gp.
• You can sell items you've crafted to fellow OH members through opening a shop, posting your items, or even word of mouth or advertisement in the newsletter. A receipt must be sent to the Treasury Moderator and the person who is buying the item/s. There are no limits to selling to other characters, sell as much as you'd like!
REPAIRING BROKEN ITEMS
• To repair based on 1/4 of the original cost, calculate everything based on 1/4 of the emporium cost, so if for instance 1750 is your base, divide by 4 for the gold cost and use appropriate CP cost for that.
