Update 1.10
Greetings, OH Members:
The Holidays are approaching, people are off work and spending time with families and unfortunately a lot of people are sick so we are going to see some downtime for the game as is only natural. When January gets here, and people are back and work/school then I truly believe we'll start seeing our chat open a lot more, and people joining the group. So do not worry, and do not get discouraged with the low amount of public play going on. Take some initiative and IM someone in the group with an idea to roleplay, or if you open the chat IM everyone so they know it's open! You really can't complain there's not public play going on if you are not willing to open the chat and put in the work to get roleplaying going yourself!
Also, today is the LAST DAY left for you to vote for the Creativity Contest. There's only a couple votes, so we really need to know what you guys think!!
WEEKLY QUEST
THIS TUESDAY, DECEMBER 18 we are having a quest run by Pamela at 9pm (est). If you know for sure you can be there, feel free to reply back to me which character you're taking so I can plan accordingly.
RUNIK STORYLINE
There is an open storyline still going on, concerning the criminal organization called Runik. Basically, they are targeting the OH members or even those that just stay at the OH Inne and either attacking them, spying on them, creating mischief or trying to talk them into joining Runik instead of OH. If you'd like a chance to have an encounter with a Runik operative, just get in touch with me and we will do it. It can be done in groups, or just your solo character but I will warn you, it's not all fun and games.
WORD OF THE WEEK
Don't forget the Word of the Week, it's always changing and it's XP you can earn once a week just within your normal roleplay! Check the message board. Use it. Send it in.

UPDATES
• A few new races have been fleshed out, such as dwarf, halfling, gnome, feykin.
• *IMPORTANT* There was a tie in the voting for what happens when you roll a 0 for your combat dice after you've already made strike, so I am going to be the tiebreaker. From this day forward, if you make your strike, but roll a 0 dmg for your combat dice, it is STILL A HIT. After all, you made strike. Combat dice are like frosting on the cake of your weapons dice, and any boost you get from a trait point or class/profession bonuses. This means even if you get 0dmg with combat dice you MAY still roll your weapon damage, add in trait points and any other bonus you have. You will just miss out on that extra boost from your combat dice damage. Questions? Talk to me.
• Watch out for some new missions and storyline starters that'll be up soon! Missions are great ways to have a purpose for your roleplay, and anyone can lead them, you don't need to be a recognized DM. You can even come up with your own.
• Also note that if you can't find your dossiers in the main section, you may have been put in the "Secondary or Lesser Played Character" section as we recently cleaned up our main section of folks we haven't seen rp in weeks. IF you were put there, and are back and ready to rp with us, just let me (tesarikone) know and it'll go back up! Those in Secondary cannot gain XP but you may still roleplay them to your heart's content.
Extra Credit: You may use the web site for this.
What is the name of dog described below?
Bred originally from large sheepdogs, these massive creatures were intended to guard against the depredations of undead. The physically powerful dog is involved from puppyhood in clerical rituals that provide the adult dog with powers similar to a paladin. These rituals provide some protection from the supernatural attacks of undead as well as allowing the dogs to bite at even immaterial spirits. The dog has long, grey to white fur and resembles a Saint Bernard.
