Greetings, OH Members:
This will be a short week for us here as most of us I'd imagine will be celebrating Thanksgiving this week. There haven't been any major changes this week, we've been plugging along and doing some recruiting! We've even held two Endurance Matches recently that were a lot of fun and a great way to get together and interact with each other.
Poisons are up! I don't think anyone has Poisonmaking yet, but we've got a nice list of poisons you can craft if you have the appropriate skill. Also, we tweaked True Seeing as we felt it was far too powerful.
We do have a contest going on right now! A creativity contest, and we ask you to help us fill out our world. Pick any type of place you like; city, meadow, mountain, dungeon, ruins, castle, village, church, monastery -- or anything you wish, and fill it out with information, description, even NPC's and pictures to go with it.
Rules:
1. You may choose any country or kingdom in existence including the Thanes Desert.
2. You may choose to 'flesh out' a city, town, village, natural wonder, dungeon, temple, chapel, monastery, haunted forest or ANYTHING of that sort. In other words, any type of feature you like. It does not have to be already listed on the country information, you can name your own area if you like.
3. Please be as descriptive as you can. Feel free to create NPC's, myths, legends, lore, and descriptions.
4. Visuals are a plus. Find a picture or two that you feel represents the area, or an NPC, or legend.
5. You have until Wednesday, December 5th, to hand in your submission. Please send it to TesarikOne.
6. You may send up to THREE submissions, but they should all be different types of things such as a town, a temple and a natural wonder. Or a city, dungeon and forest.
6. Prizes?
First Prize = 15XP, 5000gp
Second Prize = 10XP, 2000gp
Third Prize = 5XP, 1000gp
All Participants = 1XP, 250gp
