SwordOfAtrophy: Mistakes?

Unyielding Dark: [ Good ]

SwordOfAtrophy: The Araggaxian Tower, a behemoth of 100 floors of monsters

and mayhem. It stands like a silent guardian, yet opens the doors for you

welcomingly. Anyone without a runic key, is given one. (Will be on

SwordOfAtrophy: receipt) Ahead, amidst the walls of cerulean blue and gold

patterns, are two things. The first is a kiosk, asking for tokens in exchange

for items to use the tower. The other is a long pole lantern,

SwordOfAtrophy: glowing silently, waiting for you to touch it and begin your

exploration. (Begin RP)

Valiant Madcap: -How did they convince him to come here? He was not sure but

here he was. Since it was clear they were going to get into a fight here, he

got himself ready and adjusted himself accordingly. Reaching under his robes

he tapped that

Valiant Madcap: tattoo to form that tight fitting mithralweave armor across

his chest, reaching up to adjust the rune decked crimson bandana holding his

hair up out of his face. Everything seemed all set so he would step on onside

and reach for one

Valiant Madcap: of the jugs on his hip to lift it up and pull the cork out

to take a drink- Hope this is fun. -d

Of Rugged Ways: Stepping inside, the blonde was every watchful of his party

members. A protective stand was taken up near Kathryn, ready to take the

plunge into darkness. "Yes, as do I." He was ready to stretch his legs. -e-

Unyielding Dark: When someone mentioned the tower, she was always up for

adventure. Thus, she had went with the group who was venturing there. She

found herself near those who she felt the need to serve beside and to

Unyielding Dark: protect. It was a notion that was new to the woman, blind

or not, she was a warrior. Her violet clad form stood out from the rest, her

head turned to take measure of the sounds and feelings about

Unyielding Dark: them. Her long hair had been intertwined and tucked under

the measure of her facial covering, the mark of Kanesh along her face,

telling her of who she was, if none did not know already. Her staff in

Unyielding Dark: hand, she moved, taking her time as she followed the

others, bringing up the back of their small party. [d]

faded sunbeam: Kathryn wasn't exactly sure what was being done, but she was

right there with Behr ready to try anything. She had her gear with her, and

her long curls tied back in a braid. She smiled over at Behr and then looked

to the others. She

faded sunbeam: took the key and tucked it away, and then waited for them to

begin. If touching the lantern was known to be the way to start, she'd do it

first.

SwordOfAtrophy: The floors have the same architecture as the main room, but

are a sort of maze of hallways and rooms with various objectives. You appear

by a tall lampost, a plaque listing what you need to do. It is

SwordOfAtrophy: here treasure will spawn, and here you must return to

continue to another floor. The lamp is off now.

Valiant Madcap: Just remember not to over extend. If we stay as a group and

know our limits, we will make it through just fine. -Knowing who they all had

there, he was sure they had no loose cannons that would run off for glory and

get them into

Valiant Madcap: trouble. So they would go for the lamp and play touchy

touchy. Shockingly, they had won the first floor already as all they had was

that chest there- Well that was easy.. should we go again them? -Was he that

drunk that he missed

Of Rugged Ways: "This was.. rather anticlimatic." He couldn't help but to

snicker a little after finding only a chest of treasure. "Too bad this

couldn't have happened on a higher floor." Of course, he couldn't read the

written symbols, but that

Of Rugged Ways: was niether here nor there. "Should we open the chest now?

What if it disappears if we don't?" -e-

faded sunbeam: "That was ...perhaps too easy. I doubt this will happen

again." She went to the treasure chest and looked inside, and then read the

plaque. "I say lets open it, maybe there's something in it that will help us

as we keep moving." She

faded sunbeam: knelt down by it and opened it, peeking inside.

being worn out as it was. She didn't sense any fighting to be done. "Let us

continue."

would not understand, though some might have heard it before, "Yaka'lithel,"

and then rose again and gave a shrug to the group.

big fat hornet, a large green rhino beetle, a skeleton holding a shield and a

club, and a fat little red leech just hopping around.

Though attacking one will cause them all to be aggressive.

to the monster type, a knowledge of monster lore, or any other

way. Or you can just start hacking away.

a moment to see if it would prove to be the creature they needed to fight.

Skeleton." And with Matumaini in hand, he ran at the monster. Not sure how

to kill a skeleton, he went for the head, hoping to maybe chop it off!

and used his fingers to open and shut its mouth. "Can I keep it?" Randomly

Unyielding Dark: "I knew something was amiss with that Hornet." She sighed

deeply, spinning her staff as she considered the feel of the lamp. "Shall we

Valiant Madcap: Well what we lack in deductive skills we make up for in

decimating skeletons and bugs. Harold would be proud of you.. -A nod and he

would go kick the chest open this time- What did we get? -d

Of Rugged Ways: "Shush. You are not bat luck!" Harold was put away for

safe keeping. Stepping over to her, he'd squeeze her shoulder. "Besides,

I'd rather have fun with you than obtain some silly prize." -e-

but I'm not going to tell him that.

the one that you've been using. It will always be guarded, and once found,

everyone needs to touch it before you can move on. Options include, Stealth,

way you may have. To find the lamp, A search or spot check (DC:11) is

required.

Of Rugged Ways: "Heeey.. harold's gone!" Pouty face, but at least he had

gotten an arse swat out of it, even if it made him blush! Oh right.. what

now. When Sloane spotted the lamp, he perked a little, game for either a

race of a fight. -e-

faded sunbeam: "Aww, I thought you were going to get to keep it. I guess

this tower is really serious about us not getting any treasure." She

snickered, and then Sloane found the lamp and there were creatures.

Unyielding Dark: "I might be able to sneak upon them..." Her head tilted

toward the lamp. []d

SwordOfAtrophy: Everyone has to touch the lamp, as a reminder.

SwordOfAtrophy: You can treat them as simply regular monsters if you like,

they just don't need to be killed to continue.

faded sunbeam: She stepped forward away from the others just so she could

work her chronomancy magic, and with but a sweep of her hands, she sent a

wall of temporal force towards the creatures to pin them upwards, leaving

them space to duck and

faded sunbeam: move beneath them towards the lamp. They could still attempt

to move towards the, but that wall of temporal energy would slow them down

considerably for a round. (Temporal Wall - AoE Hold - 3 monsters - DC25)

Unyielding Dark: "Effective." She responded, simply walking up now to touch

the lamp. "Well done, Kathryn." She had been all ready to sneak and stuff.

Of Rugged Ways: "Wow. That was sweet." He stepped between and under the

little creatures and moved to touch the lamp. -e-

Valiant Madcap: Huh? Oh! -He would rush over and touch the lamp as well-

SwordOfAtrophy: Lamp is lit, treasure box is there. Once away from the imps

they don't follow.

Valiant Madcap: This one is going to have something in it, I am sure!

faded sunbeam: "No, it won't, we aren't going to get any treasure." She

snickered, and then glanced over to Andraste, "Thank you. I am learning to

control my magic quite a bit better. Things aren't as unraveled as they were

just a little while

faded sunbeam: ago."

Of Rugged Ways: Guess it was his turn to open the treasure chest. Lowering

into a crouch, he would flip it open to nose about inside. -e-

faded sunbeam: "Yaka'lithel!" she said a little louder this time. "I knew

it." She snickered, and sidled up next to Behr as he touched the lamp, one

hand slipping around his waist.

chicken thing (Gastornis), what looks like a cat with bat wings (Gaelcat),

another skeleton with a scythe, and a tiger.

faded sunbeam: She drew in a deep breath, and then released Behr to give a

little clap of her hands, "That cat is precious! Awwwwwww."

Of Rugged Ways: Ooo. Look at all the cats. "That one has wings!" And he

would check it out to see if anything else was interesting about it.

Valiant Madcap: -He quickly pointed at the tiger multile times- This one,

kick it in the metal teeth!

faded sunbeam: Her attempting to look at the creatures to figure out

anything about it did not work well last time, so she figured she'd do

something different. She peered at the

faded sunbeam: skeleton but hearing Sloane say that it was the tiger... she

changed her mind about using Clairvoyant and focused on the tiger. Her

dragonbone sword drawn, as well as her bladed fan, such a lovely thing but

deadly as the blades were

faded sunbeam: pushed outwards. She seemed to glimmer with temporal energy

as she moved, quicker than normal (Innate Spell +2 Strike), and used both

weapons on the creature.

SwordOfAtrophy: All the lamps lit up briefly, but soon all went out at the

same time. The main lamp didn't change.

Valiant Madcap: Hmm.. ok. How bout in reverse?

Unyielding Dark: "Alright... " She awaited direction from the others, her

hand hovering over the lamp. [d]

faded sunbeam: "I meant that me looking constipated wasn't a very sexy look,

but... you are sexy, especially when your hair's all messy." She grinned, and

then that didn't work. "Ok, so 3, 2, 1!"

Of Rugged Ways: Again, the lamp was tapped trying hard not to look at

instead of activating in order, they just need to be activated at the same
