Tesarik One: (Part 5) The castle ground floor is explored, after spotting
more greenbound creatures - wolves this time. A wailing virgin is found in
the castle, who has good information about the whereabouts of
Tesarik One: the Kingblade, but also seeks to have shadowy vampiric beasts
killed that live in the dungeon. Gabriel promises her to Hallow the area, to
release her to her afterlife, and she readily agrees.
Tesarik One: You all have agreed to go into the dungeon and destroy the
beasties there, so we'll pick up from there! Begin RP!
Fun Size Fantasy: Elly continued to rub at her face for a few long moments
as they prepared to go into the basement to kill some bad things. Sure this
would be loads of fun. Hands falling to grasp at her pocket so she could
check that she had
SwordOfAtrophy: Vyce was not an emotional man, for the most part, so
primarily his aim was to help the disquiet spirit into the afterlife for the
sake of those living, that perhaps soon this place could be habitable again,
just as it was. Hard to
SwordOfAtrophy: do that with a spook about and monsters in the cellar. The
blade had been retrieved, though that was not an entrance to the basement, so
he wandered out into the courtyard, the next logical step from where they
were, to see if there
SwordOfAtrophy: was some kind of entrance about. Likely it would be a place
where the people who needed to get there had easy access.
Unyielding Dark: As others prepared, Andraste went through her movements,
slow and relaxed with staff in hand. She used it to practice her training and
improve her reflexes. [ CM: Ritual Focus | +3 Listen | Through Adventure]
Once she was sure that
Fun Size Fantasy: everything. Her shadow randomly darting about doing what
it enjoyed most.. annoying her and yet still doing what she had asked of it
by giving magic to the shadows of the others. Or at least the ones that she
knew would accept it.
Unyielding Dark: her senses were properly alerted, she stilled, staff laid
along the side of her leg, reaching up she worked her long locks into several
braids, getting them out of the way as she expected things to be both
distracting as well as
RageofNocturne: :: Gabriel readied his guns ensuring they were loaded all
four barrels of them and gripped them firmly within his hands and would look
over to the basement door as he cast onto himself a spell to increase his
will to face the beasts
Tesarik One: There was indeed an entrance with a gate that had been found,
the gate stood open and pitch blackness was beyond down the stairway of
stone.
Unyielding Dark: combat to happen eventually. The long locks were then
tucked under the tie of her blindfold that keeping them out of the way. She
moved towards where the entrance was, leaning towards the darkness she
couldn't see nor felt afraid of
Unyielding Dark: listening to see what she could hear from where they were.

Fun Size Fantasy: [Spell: Protective Shadows || Group Absorb 15 dmg || Elly,
Gabriel, Vyce, Andraste] "AnyoneNeedADarksightPotion?" She knew the spell
too but really the potions had to be used before they turned.

Tesarik One: Andraste, you hear odd noises deep in the darkness, like
hissing, and chains dragging along the stone, and gurgling noises that sound
somewhat like some odd type of language.
Tesarik One: It is creepy as shit, even if you aren't sure what it is.
SwordOfAtrophy: "Thank you, as always, Miss Ellywick." Sure, he could do it
himself, but people seemed to be more ok with shadows than lightning. Vyce
looked down into the darkness, his eyes shifting from basic darksight to
deepened vision to try
Roguish Luck: The Kingblade secured, the Northman moved about just to get
his bearings once more on where he was again. One hand raised, testing the
back of his head to estimate the blood flow from his skull. Satisfied with
the slowed trickle, he
SwordOfAtrophy: to get a clearer picture of what might lay below.
Tesarik One: Lucy followed behind them, glancing to the Virgin a moment and
then to the opening down into the dungeons where she said the vampire shadow
beasties were. She rubbed her hands together, whispering to herself for a
moment.
Tesarik One: Vyce, you see stairs leading into a large area. There isn't
much down there that has lasted over the ages, save for the stone of the
walls and cracked stone floors.
Unyielding Dark: "Mother of Shadow, Darkness be Merciful." She sighed,
turning her head away from the deep dark that they were about to venture in,
the sounds wouldn't offer her more insight than knowing there were creatures
below... possibly
Roguish Luck: glanced over towards Lucy and then towards Andraste.
"Listening for the damned..?" Foot steps carried him over towards the Farseer
with chimes of spurs heralding his arrival.[d]
RageofNocturne: :: He would look over to Logen before he would close his
eyes and Logen found his wound suddenly gone while it was Gabriel himself who
suddenly had the strike to the back of the head which was slowly trickling.
He would open his eye
RageofNocturne: s then and nod to the man before looking to the basement
once more-D- ( Empathic Transfer)
Fun Size Fantasy: "YeaYeaNoProblem.." There was a grin on her face as she
held up the dark orange potion in the air for any takers. When no one
grabbed for it, she downed the first one.. mmm carrot juice. Yeah not
really. Now she could play in
Fun Size Fantasy: the dark and see in it too. Moving quietly to join the
others, she slipped past them to start down the stairs. The pink hair going
with her.
Unyielding Dark: chained. She wrinkled her nose at Logen's question.
"Attempting to... aye. Chains, gurgling... the pattern of it, it's possibly a
language. Nothing worth noting, I cannot tell how many or where, too much
bouncing off the stone, at
Tesarik One: She reached to give a soft rub against the gemstone embedded in
her body that gave her power over shadows, unsure of what they were going to
fight. It did not sound like a mere shadow, it sounded much more difficult to
deal with.
Tesarik One: Thankfully, she had darksight and moved to the stairs and
waited for the others.
Roguish Luck: [Resistance?]

SwordOfAtrophy: "Well, they aren't rushing out to greet us, which means they
either do not know we are here, or believe being below belies some sort of
benefit." Alliteration is fun. Elly went first, because stealth. "Do we bring
light or go in
SwordOfAtrophy: blind?" He was ok with either.
RageofNocturne: doesnt list a DC if resisting it))
Fun Size Fantasy: She had offered potions of darksight!
Unyielding Dark: least perhaps. Once we are further, maybe...." She smirked
as Elly moved by towards the stairs, bypassing. She arched her back a touch
and shrugged. "Shall we go play in the darkness, Sir?" [d]
SwordOfAtrophy: He meant trope in with a light and announce themselves, or
go in the dark for a surprise attack, he's just bad an phrasing.
Fun Size Fantasy: Elly liked playing in the shadows.. it's what she did.
Steathily moving down to see if she can see anything to tell the group about
what they were going up against.
Tesarik One: Her mindblade formed in her hand with but a thought, it wasn't
something she used all the time but she thought it might come in handy in
this circumstance. Who knew, she might still stick with magic, but it was
there and ready if
Tesarik One: needed! She followed behind Elly, creeping slowly down the
stairs into the darkness, using (Darksight) to see where she was going.
Tesarik One: Everyone able to see in the dark?
Roguish Luck: Logen smirked and simply stepped forward. The moment he was
enveloped in the darkness, the Dark Hunter shifted his eyes to that of a
predator, golden and feline to allow him to see through the darkness. [Dark
Sight] Without fear of
Roguish Luck: surprisal or any threat for that matter, he continued down the
steps, seeking out the creatures needing to be sent back to the mud.[d]
SwordOfAtrophy: Seemed like going in the dark was the best idea. Or rather,
the two other mages he trusted just walked on in, so he did the same. It was
better for him in a way, as he tended to see even better in full darkness.
Unyielding Dark: [ She is the Dark. :D ]
RageofNocturne: :: He would adjust his grip on his guns and looked down the
steps then would begin making his way down into the darkness his eyes
adjusting easily to it allowing him to see in the dark-D- (darksight)

Tesarik One: Down, down you all go into the dark dungeon of Glaryaun Castle.
Not a wonderful place normally, now an even worse place due to the moving in
of the creatures that now await you. The creatures the Virgin says hunts in
the darkness,

Tesarik One: and she wishes gone from this place. As you move into the large
main area, you find that there are several passages around you. Two to the
right, two to the left, and a doorway straight ahead that has fallen halfway
down, and is
Tesarik One: lodged in the entrance.
Tesarik One: Everyone may make Listen Checks. Or Spot with your darksight.
Unyielding Dark: Not surprised by his response, Andraste gave a small
chuckle. "Dangerous things prowl the deep dark..." She commented, though it
wasn't in regard to warning, simply saying. She followed the sound of Logen's
steps, she continued to

beyond the doorway that is jammed in the opening. The sound of chains can
also be heard every now and again, coming from that area. Straight ahead.
Roguish Luck: "Dangerous things prowl the blinding light, as well..." He'd
offer a smirk, one that was lost in display but could simply be felt or heard
in his tone. "It just so happens that what lurks here is an old creature, a
danger curdled,
Roguish Luck: pungent in it's existence.." Eyes peered down the corridors as
he stepped by each one.[d]
Tesarik One: Spot - 15+ notice dried blood down the left passageway as if
something was dragged that way into the first tunnel.
Tesarik One: 20+ notice fresh blood on the floor, the wall and the ceiling
near the other left passageway.
Tesarik One: Vyce, you peek in through that lodged doorway and notice some
thick areas of shadow that the darksight doesn't get through.

Fun Size Fantasy: Elly snorted a little and then moved over to the spot
between the two left passageways while no one was on top of her to suddenly
lay down on the cracked stone floor and take a quick listen to see if
anything was close.
SwordOfAtrophy: Of course there would be blood. "Someone was wounded, rather
recently.." Well someone was subjective, could be animal blood. "Also, the
darkness behind the main door is.. not normal, so be extra wary there."
Unyielding Dark: She gave a smirk in response to his counter, finding her
hand lingering near the doorway that was jammed in the opening. "The noise...
gurgling... is coming from here." Her tone was low, considering. "It is also
where the chains
Fun Size Fantasy: [ Ear to the Ground ! || 30 ft location from things
touching the floor ]
RageofNocturne: :: He looked around at the door then to the floor seeing the
dried blood heading to the left passage and then the fresh blood near the
other left passage-- Got some fresh blood there....--he said then looked to
Vyce-- I can easily t
Tesarik One: (y'all hold one sec so I don't miss anything)
Roguish Luck: "A fresh kill..." Logen took a hovering kneel and squat over
the stains upon the floor next to the left most corridor. Eyes danced about,
nose tasting the flavor on the air. [ Scent-Dark Hunter ] Two fingers pressed
down onto the
Roguish Luck: floor to test the viscosity of the puddle. [d]
RageofNocturne: ake out that door whenever we are ready to end these
things-D-
Unyielding Dark: coming from..." She seemed distracted a moment, her brows
furrowing before she turned her attention towards Vynce, considering before
she decided to let others venture around in their own search. She touched the
doorway careful not

Tesarik One: Ok!
Tesarik One: Elly, the only thing you can hear with your ear to the ground
skill is something down the passagewy with the fresh blood.
Unyielding Dark: to dislodge it, only looking to inspect and find the
fault-lines in it. [d]
Tesarik One: Also, those looking at the "fresh" blood, it's dried and goopy
in some places, as fresh as last evening. So not super fresh, but not over 12
hours old.
Tesarik One: As for the door lodged in the opening, it's going to take a STR
check of DC22 to dislodge it enough for you all to be able to crawl through.
DC26 to remove it completely from the doorway.
Fun Size Fantasy: Elly slowly raised herself back up and pointed down the
fresh path.. Speaking into her insignia easily enough. "I can hear something
from down that way when I put my head on the ground."
RageofNocturne: what about Focus Rend skill?)
Unyielding Dark: "Do we want the door down? I might be able to do it
easily." [Focused Rend Ability]
SwordOfAtrophy: "Noises from the front, and the side... perhaps we should
follow this blood trail, before we get pincered. That door has held up until
now, I imagine it will last the next few minutes."
Fun Size Fantasy: "I thought we were here to kill everything for her?"
Didn't that mean all rooms ?
Roguish Luck: "It's a beast... Not humanoid... Probably a doe or buck
wandered too far..." Fingers were wiped clean upon a cleaner portion of stone
before standing up to his full height. Eyes flashed between the lot of them.
"I agree with Vyce...
Tesarik One: Swinging her mindblade side to side, she moved around the room,
listening to what the others found while searching for herself to see if
anything stood out. She moved to where Andraste stood at the lodged door, and
tilted her head
Roguish Luck: We want to be advantageous... None of us know the creatures
that dwell here.."[d]
Tesarik One: as she peered into the opening behind it.
RageofNocturne: :: He would look to Andraste and would smile-- Not to worry,
i should beable to take this thing down with ease Andraste. --he said and
would nod to her then looked to the others-- Sounds good...lets clear the
passages....then take o
RageofNocturne: n the main room.-D-
Unyielding Dark: She ran her hand down the wood of the door like a caress,
memorizing the grains. "When we return, I should be able to take it down
easy..." She backed away from the door, but not before Gabriel made mention
of taking it down with
Tesarik One: Whoever was near the lodged door would find those "spots" of
darkness had moved, and were coming closer towards the doorway.
Unyielding Dark: ease. She made a sound, but whatever it was wasn't entirely
clear, she would let the man do what he wished. She turned her head toward
Logen, then toward Lucy who had found her way near to peer in as well. She
offered a soft nudge
Unyielding Dark: to her elbow before moving off towards Logen and inspecting
the different routes. [d]
Tesarik One: "Let us see what has left the blood then, if we are clearing
these passages first." She furrowed her brow as she saw the darkness moving,
and glanced to the others, "Watch your backs, I really do not think that this
doorway stops
Tesarik One: the shadow beasts from getting out. They come out at night to
hunt, remember."
Tesarik One: The two passages to the left made a U shape, curving into one
another and bringing you back out into the main room. There had been a
doorway at the curve, at one time, but it was now filled in with rubble and
dirt, impassable. But,
RageofNocturne: :: He would look through the cracks of the door seeing the
spots moving and would narrow his eyes and stepped back from the door and
readied his aim just incase the beasts came through-- I agree with
Lucy....And these things are com
RageofNocturne: ing closer to the door-D-
Tesarik One: Logen had been right at least about the animal, it was a young
doe that had been dragged into the passage the night before. The odd thing
about it though, besides the bit of blood where it had been dragged, the
actual body had been
Tesarik One: drained of blood. Moving around the U shape back into the main
room would reveal a large number of skeletons of other creatures of the area.
Bones littered the passageway.
Tesarik One: She nudged Andraste back, leaning to whisper to her, "Be
careful, my friend. I feel that the danger from these creatures is far more
real than anythign we've yet faced."
Roguish Luck: "I'm pretty god damn sick of the amount of vampiric creatures
that survive..." Muttered to himself. "Blood-hungry cocksuckers." Boots
crushed bone as he stepped through the mess in his investigation. Once he
emerged from one of the
Roguish Luck: tunnels, he simply shook his head towards the others. "A false
route... More so a stow away for their kills... Tear down the door, let's be
rid of these creatures."[d]
Tesarik One: "This is the perfect land for such creatures, a whole world at
their feet really. So many animals, and tribespeople that probably don't have
the talents to fight it." She followed Logen down the passage, trying not to
step in the
RageofNocturne: ohh before i forget. Death Imagery inkantation: Zombies and
Undead will ignore Gabriel unless there is no other victim available. Or
until he attacks them)
SwordOfAtrophy: Wonderful, a U.. well that solved a dilemma about logistics,
likely it had been a store room of some kind, and likely one extended on the
right as well. "Perhaps it's a good thing we are here then, Madame Lucy.
Because I do believe
Tesarik One: bloody carcass and the array of bones. She did pause where
there used to be a door, and ran her fingers over the stone, but there was no
way in that way. "Perhaps leading into catacombs of the castle?" She came
back out and faced
Tesarik One: the door where they knew creatures were waiting.

SwordOfAtrophy: we are well equipped to fight them." Between the three melee
fighters, and the three mages, it was likely they could cover nearly any
eventuality.
Unyielding Dark: She nodded to Lucy, understanding the warning there. The
most dangerous things lived in the deep dark for a reason, or at least in her
own mind. A whisper came over her skin, Kanesh's reminder. "Shall I open the
door and we be
Fun Size Fantasy: So do some of us... Elly thought it but she didn't dare
share that thought out loud! Rubbing at her arm a little bit for a moment,
she turned towards the left passage with the blood to peer down as the others
headed in that
Fun Size Fantasy: direction and then she moved closer towards the door
straight ahead and laid down once more. Sure she looked like an easy target
but she could feel things this way. [Ear to the Ground]
Tesarik One: "Yes, I vote we dive right in." She grinned just a little, and
took a defensive posture with her blade.
Unyielding Dark: underway?" The hair on the back of her neck stood on end,
she considered the path, focusing on the press of the darkness. Walking
towards the, she hesitated a moment. "Did you want the honor, Gabriel?" He
had mentioned it. [d]
Tesarik One: There is nothing touching the ground in the area straight ahead
of you. Nothing you can hear.
Fun Size Fantasy: Elly got up and curled into a ball that would allow her a
chance to just hide out.
SwordOfAtrophy: His right hand was filled with a psychic blade, similar to
Lucys, though his sparked faintly with static. Then at a simple gesture, it
was coated in a dimmed sheen of light (Spell: Elemental wreath: Shift weapon
element to light).
SwordOfAtrophy: "No time like the present."
RageofNocturne: :: He would look to Andraste and would shrug-- I can if you
would like me to. --he said and kept the aim of his pistols towards the
door-- Just let me know if you would prefer I do so.-D-
Unyielding Dark: Impatience was sometimes an issue for her. With the
lingering, she decided to do it herself. Her hand lifted towards the wood,
hitting it in the right place where it would hopefully give under her

Tesarik One: She moved to stand near Vyce, giving him a smile and slight
salute with her own shimmering blade.

Tesarik One: The stone doorway crumbled into pieces that were easily pulled
away, leaving the passageway completely open.
Tesarik One: This also caused the residents within the area to rear up, what

bypasses mundane defenses. Flying by, the creature is not finished and spins,

was getting ready to cast a little used spell that she

was about to happen. "Tempestas Lux!" Boooom! There was a crack above

warm and sunny, meant to drive undead creatures away. A slight scent

Roguish Luck: Time slowed down for the Northman as a steady stream escaped
through pursed lips. The destruction of the demon infront of him had risen
his ire as he had been engaged with the creature. A man needs to just voice

required being banished. Blade in hands, he turned and took the steps
necessary to chase after the second demon that had gone after Lucy. As it was
thrust back from the
