What are some things that you would like to see happen in an upcoming event? What as players would you like to see happen to your characters? It could be a world-changing event or just a bi-annual type of thing. Above are just some ideas that you can choose but feel free to make your own suggestions below.
If you would do one of the events listed in the poll, vote for them. If it's something that you're not interested in, then don't do anything for it.
There is no limit to how many votes you can cast for the above items so if all of them interest you, give them all a click.
Explanations for the choices:
- "Day-Long" Battle : Sometimes things happen and it's not something that can be handled within a three-hour segment of a quest or something similar. Sometimes the bad guy isn't something that one of our own can just take out within a few rounds. This would be a long event (hosted by one or more people but doesn't have to be all day just for more than 3 hrs) where the battle is continuous and the bad guys never stop coming. People would be made to leave after a time period and as muns we could bring new characters to give everyone a chance to participate in a giant Battle for Arith. Would you be interested in fighting this battle whether as an actual fighter or as support? Further clarification: This event would last long enough that anyone could join the battle. No one would be allowed to stay for longer than a set time period and as long as they stay for a minimum the xp for everyone who comes would be the same. Special rules would be in play for an event of this magnitude and it meant that anyone from Diamond to Crystal could participate in an event that effected the world around us and say that they had done something to help us win the fight.. or delay the inevitable.
- Archery Contest or Tournament : This could be a one night event for people to come from all over or it could be a tournament that goes on for weeks. That would really be up to what people wanted to do and if they wanted to do it.
- Frivolous Play : A night where there is no fighting, there's not battle, there's no reason for it other than to have fun. This type of thing could resemble a game or just random fun. It could also be something that works towards ribbons or just for the play of it all to get to know some of the other people in our world. Example: During the trinket game last year, Elly hosted a night of hide and seek to exchange trinkets between players. Didn't have to be actively in the trinket game but doing so either got you items or you lost them.
- Scripted Events : Things are happening in the world around your character and there are things that you can't control, stop or ignore. Everyone in all of Arith are stuck having to react to what happens and it's anyone's guess how it will go. Would you like or dislike an event where someone told you one thing that you couldn't control for every character you have?
- Collection Event : Someone or something needs to have mass quantities of multiple items. These items have to be found in the world, gathered and brought back and the more people help, the bigger the rewards for the help. Pure role play endeavors that could be done as a singular individual or as a group. The fighters version could be there is suddenly an influx of a creature that the world needs to be rid of. Yay or Nay?
