Tesarik One: Ok since we have at least one person who has never gone on a
cobalt door, I'm gonna scroll the info-
Tesarik One: Yet again a cobalt door has appeared and word has reached
Maria. It is sitting on the shore of Pincer Lake this time. It is a stout
Tesarik One: freestanding door and frame. The door is a good four inches
thick - the frame six inches. The door and frame have a deep cobalt blue hue.
The large ring handle is thick and brass. There is no
Tesarik One: keyhole on either side.
Tesarik One: The Cobalt Door appears randomly. It will disappear just as
quickly. It seems the door moves before it becomes well known. It will stay
for a while then move on appearing at another time ready to
Tesarik One: those that come. The Cobalt Door by itself is not all that
amazing. (Well it is basically invulnerable and unmovable so that may make it
seems amazing). What it leads to is somewhat amazing. Pulling it
Tesarik One: opens the door to a place many call The Maze. What is The Maze?
Some think it is a testing ground. Others a training ground. What ever its
purpose
Tesarik One: it provides risks and rewards to those that enter it.
Tesarik One: The Maze is not really that Maze like. It is a seemingly
infinite collection of underground hallways and rooms filled with traps (some
fiendish) hidden places and a variety of monstrous lifeforms.
Tesarik One: Tucked in the rooms are various treasures plus gold and special
keys that can lead you to even better areas of The Maze. If one survives the
experience of the maze one can come out quite wealthy in
Tesarik One: gold and items. However survival is often the prime issue.
Tesarik One: You are only given three hours to complete each Maze if you do
not complete it to the end
Tesarik One: then you lose - EVERYTHING and appear outside the door.
Tesarik One: When you've read that, and agree, state "Ready".

Tesarik One: The time starts when someone opens the door. You have 3 hours
from that time. If you don't finish, you do lose everything you've gained.

Tesarik One: Ok folks, you've been sent to the Cobalt Door on the shore of
Pincer Lake, all you have to do to start the timer is open the door and head
inside. Timer starts as soon as someone pulls the brass handle.
RageofNocturne: :: The chaos dragon had been practicing with his new shield
and sword combo he had made by Elly when the cobalt door had appeared yards
from where he stood. Blinking at its sudden appearance he slung the shield to
his back and sheat
RageofNocturne: hed his sword upon his back beneath the shield while
stepping towards the thing looking it over-- The seven hells? Dont tell me my
chaos created this thing..-D-
psionic wanderer: This certainly seemed worth checking out when he'd heard
about it. He hadn't heard of a Cobalt Door, but from what they said it was
probably some sort of wormhole that..chose to look like a door for reasons.
When they arrived, he
SwordOfAtrophy: What the hell was he doing here!? Immediately uncomfortable
because neither of his siblings were here, he shifted from one foot to the
other. He followed the robot and her handler, mainly because the scent of
join lubricant and
psionic wanderer: stared at it a moment, then took a long drink of his
coffee before sticking the closed thermos into his pack. May as well be
ready. His helmet grew out of his armor to cover his head and the face shield
snapped into place. He gave a
SwordOfAtrophy: coffee were the easiest to pick out. Though there was
definitely some beast man type nearby, he smelled like.. well he wasn't sure
what, one who smelled faintly of brimstone that he thought might be that
dragon lady he met before,
psionic wanderer: pat to his hip to make sure his backup pistol was there,
then fired up his omni-tool to make sure it still seemed to be working fine.
"Think this is the first time I've been fully geared up, apart from my
rifle." Said to AMEE, of
Godless Seraph: She lifted from the sky and landed with a quick movement,
her white and gold wings outstreched as she arrived. They were easily twice
her own size. Her hair was pulled back, keeping it out of her face even as
several strands escaped
psionic wanderer: course! And then there was a pop and a hiss from his suit
and he jumped a bit as a warning fired up inside his helmet. He quickly
tapped at his wrist a few times until that went away and the air stopped
hissing out. "Well..still
psionic wanderer: needs work."
SwordOfAtrophy: and someone who smelled like.. lavender? Maybe. "I dunno.
Maybe you made it.." He couldn't help it, sarcasm was a defense mechanism.
Tesarik One: Maria had told Dashiell of the door, and what was behind it,
and so AMEE, his trusty "warforged" sidekick decided she'd go along with him
and make sure this door didn't kill him. The six foot, white odd looking
female trailed behind
TrueRedBlood: Just out wandering, she'd left the bathtub, gotten dressed and
wandered off to go collect flowers, or maybe go wandering a bit. Her red hair
was braided down her back, she had the smell of strawberry honey that seemed
to coat around
Tesarik One: Dash, and gave a firm nod at his statement, "Things are
improving. Soon we will have everything we need to leave this place."
Godless Seraph: their binding. Her green and gold eyes did a quick
assessment of who was there, finally landing upon Cayden, she flashed a
winning smile, focusing then upon the door.
Tesarik One: (I'll change my font color)
TrueRedBlood: her as she saw there was people gathered, pounced on Cayden's
back playfully. "What did you do now, Cayden?" She would tease, ruffle his
hair and land back on the grass as she looked around at others.
TrueRedBlood: [dont worry Pam, I did ]
Tesarik One: (ok)
psionic wanderer: "The air supply should be a piece of cake soon as I get
the materials to fix it. Really should've stocked up on random junk before we
set out, this place is rather terrible for my purposes. And don't forget, we
have to ...collect
psionic wanderer: our passenger before we leave."
RageofNocturne: :: He would look over the door for a moment longer then
looked over to Frost and would smile back to her until he was jumped and
stumbled a bit-- What? Hey its not like i was trying to do it. It just kind
of appeared. --he said and
Tesarik One: A green screen appeared in front of her, her heads up display,
and she made sure that her Resource Location and Evaluation Software Package
was turned on. (Treasure Hunter). She then waited for someone to open the
door, she was just
RageofNocturne: turned to face Jessica with a smile to her only to ruffle
her hair in return-D-
psionic wanderer: "Anyway, who's going first?" His voice had a bit of a
tinny quality due to being projected outside his suit with near-invisible
speakers. It was either that or sound horribly muffled.
Tesarik One: there to make sure Dash didn't die or do something stupid.
TrueRedBlood: [ Dash and AMEE make me think of those two to Korra... Julie,
do the thing! ]
psionic wanderer: See? He wasn't going first. He wasn't THAT stupid.
TrueRedBlood: Shocker.
Tesarik One: "I am aware, I do not forget. Unless you erase my database,"
she said firmly.
psionic wanderer: "One of you locals ought to do it, you know this place
better." He made a gesture with his hand, but soon realized they wouldn't
even know what it meant. Oh well he could nod and stuff when he had the
helmet off, assuming he could
SwordOfAtrophy: Dash Vader. Well, if nobody else was going to go, he'd slip
his frame around the robot and walk toward the door. He couldn't see it,
because he was blind, but he could sure sense that ominous presence staring
him in the face.
Tesarik One: Tick tock tick tock. The longer you wait to start the longer
the quest is going to be, cause it's 3 hours from when you open the door!
TrueRedBlood: She'd smile to Apollo then forgot he couldn't see and would at
least speak. "Um, hello again... Apollo, right?"
SwordOfAtrophy: "Locals... ha..." He reached out to feel along until he
found the handle. "Yes, Miss Jessica." He remembered! He was proud of
himself. He found the handle and pulled it open. Hopefully nothing shot him
in the face.
Godless Seraph: Frost was still as playful as she normally was, however she
seemed focused, moreso than she normally did. "Is someone going to open the
door? Or shall we stand out here all day?" She was eager.
psionic wanderer: breathe properly in there and it wasn't like..a few
thousand degrees. "There was that one time you got hacked, or did you forget
that?" She'd know he was grinning, anyway. It really hadn't been funny, that
was the most he'd feared
psionic wanderer: for his life outside the crash!
RageofNocturne: :: With the door being pulled open by Apollo he would then
move forward and clear his throat-- Maybe ill go in first ey? --he offered
but would then press forward anyways to enter first-D-
Tesarik One: "I thought we were not to speak of that ever again," she said
with a tilt of her head towards him and the slightest quirk of her lips.
Tesarik One: She followed the others and headed in through the door.

SwordOfAtrophy: "Agreeing not to speak of something is a guarantee it will
come up again.." He was about to move when he felt a big presence try to
shove on by, thankfully he was quick to step aside. "Well excuse me, Mr.
Pushy.."
SwordOfAtrophy: The tape will self destruct in 15 seconds.
Tesarik One: Everyone inside?
Godless Seraph: Frost moved over to follow in, not super urgent to push her
way through, first she needed room for her wings. Secondly, it being her
first Quest... she wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Years on the Land
Guard didn't exactly
psionic wanderer: He did place his hand on the grip of his pistol when the
door opened, because if something was going to be shooting, he'd return fire.
Since it seemed safe-ish, he stepped on in. "Well, you maybe agreed not to
speak of it again. I
Godless Seraph: prepare her. Once through, she took a moment to assess the
others and herself, moving beside Cayden.
psionic wanderer: suppose I may have, but I'm just a forgetful human. And
what are you doing with that face? You're not supposed to be able to be
amused."
RageofNocturne: :: Once through he would be looking around then looked to
Frost moving beside him and smiled-- Thought you were going to reconsider
coming out on something i was going on?-D-
TrueRedBlood: Jessica moved on inside as she looked around. "Well we could
just have someone strip down and run through.. so their armor doesn't get
ruined"
Godless Seraph: "It certainly looks like I have.... doesn't it?" She lifted
her brows before she hugged him, her wings wrapping around for a moment
before she moved alway enough to give them both room, her wings tucking back
behind her. Green and
Tesarik One: As you all enter, the door slams shut behind you. If you
attempt to open it, there is no door handle, no keyhole, just solid wood and
no way to get out. You must now go forward.
Tesarik One: When you enter, you realize if you are a shapeshifter by any
means, including magical, that you are locked into whatever form you stepped
through the door. Also, you cannot access any pockets of
Tesarik One: holding or bags of holding, only what you physically have on
your body - that is what you can use. You cannot use creation magic to create
anything, you must use what is on your body and what is on your
Tesarik One: dossier. If you do own a bag of holding instead of the magic
slots, you can use the first five items listed on your bag of holding.

Tesarik One: You feel a chill breeze from ahead of you, and see a light at
the end of the tunnel you are in.
Godless Seraph: golde eyes watchful. With caution, she went to make her
wings hidden and found she was unable. "Well... that is new." Commenting
under her breath before she started moving forward into the chill.
SwordOfAtrophy: "Oh great, did we step into winter land?" He hated snow,
especially after that last episode of the sudden winter in that one place he
went to. It had a name, but he wasn't sure he remembered it, all places
looked alike in darkness.
TrueRedBlood: She had a ring on, her armor and such and her brooch of
course, and insignia ring and brooch. "Somehow I really wish Dae was here..."
Not so much Ellis, and Gus was brave but somewhere dark and creepy; ya she
thought of Dae after
psionic wanderer: He tapped the side of his neck and his face shield
retracted, then his helmet followed suit, and he had a look around. "Hm.
Least it's breatheable." He didn't have much choice if it wasn't, anyway. He
looked back at the door, then
SwordOfAtrophy: The sweet smelling lady was moving ahead, and he followed in
her wake.
psionic wanderer: said, "Hm." and retrieved his coffee. If his helmet wasn't
going to be in the way, he'd caffeinate himself some more and follow the
others.
TrueRedBlood: his talk. "No snow... it's dark and wind in a dark tunnel
generally means something either is further ahead that would eat us, or hurt
us badly." She pressed on to follow the rest.
Tesarik One: As you reach the end of the tunnel, you have found a very
large, cavernous room and immediately notice it is snowing, despite seemingly
being "indoors". The rocky floor is covered in a thick sheet of ice past the
entryway, and
Tesarik One: your hot breath clouds in front of your face. There are
stalactites and stalagmites everywhere made of ice. When you step into this
room onto the ice, I need an Acrobatics Check to be able to walk upon the
ice, DC15.
Tesarik One: There is a soft blue-white glow to the room that allows sight,
almost like a moonlit snowy night.
TrueRedBlood: "I stand corrected Apollo... is snow... inside... I really...
really hate this." She hated cold, it really weakened her and she instantly
hugged herself as she would likely be moving slower now.
Tesarik One: BEFORE you roll for Acro -
RageofNocturne: :: He would look around as the chilly breeze blew through
and would return the hug to Frost-- It sure seems you did. --he said and
smiled to her then stepped forward with the others then would stop as he
stepped out onto the ice-- U
TrueRedBlood: "Apollo.. watch your step... it's ice on the floor." She'd at
least make sure the blind man didn't slide and fall on his ass.

Tesarik One: If you are not wearing winter clothing (and I'm just going to
trust you on this) then you need to roll an END save against the freezing
cold.

away so he could see better. Just some sort of glass-like material to protect
him from conditions!

Tesarik One: Jessica is not handling the cold well. You are shivering, so

psionic wanderer: He glanced down at his feet to make sure his magnet boots
were disengaged, because that would be just like some asshole door to throw
in a patch of metal while he was already sliding across the ice. And then it

Tesarik One: Thanks to Flexible Joint Reinforcing Polymers, she was a bit
more acrobatic than your average robot. She stepped out on the ice, after
making sure that Dash was alright, and began to move along the ice through
the room.

psionic wanderer: As it happens, the people who spent all their time in zero
gravity were pretty good at keeping their balance.
Tesarik One: DC15 so if you got below 15 you slip and fall on your ass. No
dmg for the time being, and no rolls to walk so you can get up and try again
a little slower.
SwordOfAtrophy: The trick to walking on ice, was putting your foot flat, and
not picking up the other until you were sure you weren't going to slip. He'd
had a bit of practice walking on ice, made sure of it sometimes, part of why
he hated winter.
Godless Seraph: It was so she lost her balance, wishing she had tried to
glide across instead, her rear came to hit on the ice, jarring her with a
hiss. "Graceful, Frost." She grumbled to herself before standing up once
more, lifting her wings to
Godless Seraph: attempt to walk more balanced to the other side.
RageofNocturne: :: Seeing Frost fall and slide he would smirk then chuckle
as he slowly made his way over-- Have a nice trip? --he asked her and then
laughed a bit and offered out a hand to help her in balancing while they made
their way across-D-

Tesarik One: As you all begin to walk across the ice in this vast wintry
cavern, there is movement on the left and right of you from behind some ice.
Out flies two tiny sprites, well they kinda look like sprites except their
bodies look to be
Tesarik One: be made of ice, and their beautiful wings appear to be veined
with snow and clear ice. They come zipping by, giggling, and then one of them
begins flying backwards, icy hand out as she sends a little zap of frost
towards Apollo.

Godless Seraph: "Har har har..." She snickered, despite the fact she had
been less than graceful. She easily took his hand and accepted his help
across. Her eyes looking swiftly towards the little creatures. Looks were not
everything, however, as

TrueRedBlood: She wiggled her nose, she did not like being stuck in human
form, she felt her skin itching to shift as she moved through and smirked at
Cayden. She focused on her task ahead.
Godless Seraph: one tried to frost the blind man. "That's not nice."

SwordOfAtrophy: Something was flitting about, and then there was something
coming towards him. Last thing he needed was a snowball to the face, so he
ducked it. "Hey now, who ever is throwing thing needs to settle down."
Tesarik One: Despite the sprite having missed one of her companions, it had
still attacked with a ray of frost and so AMEE was reacting as she would
normally to an attack. Swift Movement Protocol: Agility Procedure was put in
place and she
Tesarik One: pulled out her energy blaster and sent a ray right back to the
nasty ice sprite.
psionic wanderer: Well shit, they were little assholes. He drew his pistol
and watched AMEE, since their usual tactic involved ganging up, but she
almost always got the drop on them before he did.

little grumpy. " She was hurt, and from ice shards it didn't really let her
heal as she normally would with her fireblood or self healing, not until she

It would consume the potion completely, but at least the team would be ok. If

drink? He gave it a scan as well to maake sure it wasn't going to kill him,
then took a drink.

notice further that there seems to be an underground cavern and moving water.
You also find a key frozen in one of the stalagmites near you.

fog. -2 to Spot for everyone in this cavern. Welcome to Spring.
Tesarik One: Cayden, you find your friends.
Godless Seraph: She used her wings to help her move through the water,
arriving with the others as she lifted her head into the next area. Her body
was tense, careful, the orb that was glowing lifted as she moved out of the
water, carefully of
Godless Seraph: course, she had learned her lessons. Her wings gave a shake,
then she reached to the others if they needed a hand since it was hard to
see. Luckily, she could at least see some {Darksight}, even if it was
slightly muted.
Tesarik One: As you try to swim towards the grassy shore, you all make out a
figure in the water, it appears to be a drowning female.
Tesarik One: MALES only, that can see, roll a Willpower DC16. So that's Dash
and Cayden.
psionic wanderer: Well, hey. Light. He couldn't see much, just the same, and
the head lamps in his helmet were, of course, not working at the moment. Nor
was his overlay to help him see in the dark without them. Oh well. Oh hey, a
drowning lady.

may well not work in the water. His arm lit up in those orange holograms, and
he made like he was
psionic wanderer: gonna punch the creature, and mid-swing his omni-tool
quickly manufactured a short blade to turn that punch into a stabbing. Or a
miss, since hand to hand combat was not his strength.
Tesarik One: "Ugly creature?" She had not quite been able to tell, but when
Jessica pointed it out, AMEE jumped back into the water and began to swim

harm she could. She reached down, grabbing a rock, she tossed it at the

Godless Seraph: She didn't gloat, rather looked over Cayden and Dashiell,
offering them hands out of the water.
Tesarik One: AMEE grabbed Dash's arm, whether he needed it or not, and
hauled his cute ass right back to the grassy shore. She pushed him out first,
and then climbed out herself.
SwordOfAtrophy: She should gloat the crap out of that.
RageofNocturne: :: With the Kelpie dead he would swim over to shore and
climb out with Frosts aid and once out he would shake himself a bit to try
and get all the water out of his armor-D-
psionic wanderer: Well she probably smashed a rock right into one of the two
knife wounds he'd put int he critter. And then, before he could take the
lady's hand, he was hauled out by his best friend. "What? It's not as if I
let her get the drop on

Tesarik One: So you are all in the rain, fog, and wind. It's a grassy area
with trees around, but very foggy. Jessica has found an unconscious pixie
nearly drowned in a puddle of water.
TrueRedBlood: Jessica was staring at the pixie that needed... healing, she
already touched one thing that hurt her, and when the others went for a
kelpie and nearly got choked, she thought against touching this. "Um...
guys... there is a.. pixie
TrueRedBlood: here who is dying.... here goes nothing." She lowered down to
scoop it up out of the water.
Tesarik One: "I did not speak anything about how you managed to attack or
defend against the creature. I merely wished you out of this water before
another appeared."
Godless Seraph: She patted Cayden on the back, lifting her brows as if she
was going to make a smart-ass remark. Instead, she simply grinned and turned
towards Apollo. With an ease, she took his wrist with her own. Deciding to
guide him along with,
SwordOfAtrophy: He turned toward Jess's voice, reaching into his pack.
Finding the empty bottle first, then half extending it before realizing it to
be too light. He reached in again, feeling for the right ribbon around a
bottle that would indicate
Tesarik One: Scooped out of the water, it just lay limp in her arms. (Pixie
needs at least 10hp healing to become conscious, 20 to be fully healed)
SwordOfAtrophy: a smaller healing potion. Only 10 hp on this one. "Here,
give her this."
Godless Seraph: it was the least she could do in thanks. Her hand lifting
the orb of light so that it might assist.
SwordOfAtrophy: Ooh, he was guided by a pretty seeing eye winged lady.
RageofNocturne: :: Smirking as he watched Frost he then made his way over to
Jessica to look at the pixie and then looked around-- Think there are more of

TrueRedBlood: She would take the potion, opening it as she gently lifting
the head of the pixie up to help her drink it down. "Please don't bite me,
please don;t bite me little one."
Tesarik One: The potion made her shudder, and then her bright eyes opened
and she fluttered her wings a little bit and sat upwards in Jessica's arms.
Then she got a hug, "Thank you." She still was a bit wounded, but not so much
she couldn't
Tesarik One: hop out of her arms and flutter with her wings alongside the
group. She dug into a pouch at her side and pulled out a black rough ring,
and handed it to Jessica, since she was the one that had healed her. "A gift,
for helping me. I
Tesarik One: am not sure what it does, but I was told it's magical. I will
also answer one question."
TrueRedBlood: She blinked at that, she went stiff when the pixie hugged her,
but when nothing bad happened and she was given a magical ring, she'd let out
a sigh of relief. "Oh thank goodness.... how in the world do we get out of
this place?"
Tesarik One: AMEE followed, and was wiping the water off of her body though
it was fruitless as it was just raining right back onto them.
Godless Seraph: Her voice was low, not really knowing what would be best to
ask. Of course... out seemed like a logical choice. And, that was what
Jessica had asked. She kept quiet for now, though for giggles she ran her
finger along the top of
Tesarik One: "Follow me!" She flew into the trees and then landed at a spot
full of vegetation and began to dig away the leaves and moss, revealing a
trapdoor. There was a keyhole, but it was not blue like the key that had been
found.
Tesarik One: There is a brass handle to pull it upwards. BUT it is locked.
Tesarik One: (Lockpicking DC18)
Godless Seraph: Apollo's hand curious. But, the Pixie flew off... time to
go. She continued to lead him along.
Tesarik One: She peered around at the door, and saw the lock, and smiled
slightly, "Something that I can assist with, unless someone else wishes?" She
was a rogue after all. Her hand twisted, and some lockpicks came out of her
body as she
Tesarik One: activated her Infiltration and Acquisition Tools (Lockpicking
Skill). "Yes?"
SwordOfAtrophy: He looked at her, well not really, he just turned his face
in Frosts direction, a quizical little tug to his lips, but he said nothing,
only followed as she started moving again. He could attempt the locked door,
as an orphan
RageofNocturne: :: With the pixie rushing off he would shrug and follow
after her and the others-D-
psionic wanderer: "Ah, yeah, this one's right up your alley. I say go for
it." But well, if someone else wanted to take a stab at it they were sure
welcome to.
TrueRedBlood: She followed the pixie, off they went follow, the door seen
and would nod furiously at AMEE. "Yes, please... try!" She really didn't want
to stay here any longer!
SwordOfAtrophy: he'd had some chances to learn how, but he didn't see what
she was asking about, so he said nothing. She said she could do it, so have
at it.
Tesarik One: She knelt down, first using her HUD to do a Harmful Environ
Scan (Trap Detection), and finding no traps she set to picking the lock with
the tools at her disposal.

Tesarik One: AMEE rose, her lockpicks disappearing back into her arm, and

Godless Seraph: She leaned towards Apollo. "She's unlocking the door..." And
it seemed like it worked with the click.
Tesarik One: You all have slightly less than an hour to finish.
psionic wanderer: "Certainly better than if I'd just shot it." And in this
place that might not have worked anyway.
TrueRedBlood: She'd go about pull the door open since it was unlocked.
SwordOfAtrophy: He nodded. "Thank you." It was nice having someone explain
things that were vague by sounds, it might have been a lock, a trap, a
mechanical music box, for all he knew.
Tesarik One: It was a little like being in Wonderland within the Cobalt
Door, because as the door opened, you could feel the heat just pouring in
towards you and see sand. As you climbed through, you'd actually feel as if
you were climbing...up
Tesarik One: ...and push upwards into the sand of a hot desert.
RageofNocturne: :: With the door unlocked he waited in the back of the group
to head through and leave the winter wonderland as it were-D-
Tesarik One: All you can see above you is bright light like the sun is
shining down upon you very close. All you see is sand in front of you.
Welcome to Summer.
Godless Seraph: "And so the change continues." She answered, walking through
with Apollo, though if he stopped she would as well. The warmth was something
else entirely. Her long wings lifted, trying to provide some protection
against it for
TrueRedBlood: She went first this time, up and up through the way and into
Summer, which was sand as she pulled her body through, breathing in the hot
feeling. "Ok now THIS I like... " She felt much better.
Godless Seraph: herself and Apollo, casting a shadow. "Sands... a desert?
Perhaps." She doubted he needed her to tell him about the heat.
SwordOfAtrophy: "Are.. we out..? Did we make it back outside?" It was summer
outside too, so he couldn't really tell, though the heat was probably too
oppressive for the tail end of summer. "Oh, joy, a desert."
Tesarik One: "We seem to be traveling through the various seasons. We have
had winter, spring, and this appears to be summer. It means we are not done
until we find Autumn, yes?" She jumped through, which oddly ended up with her
coming feet
Tesarik One: first up out of the opening into the desert. Good thing she was
Acrobatic.
psionic wanderer: Well this was damn hot. He climbed out and got his suit
back up into protective mode so he didn't roast. It was a great insulator,
after all!
TrueRedBlood: "At least Spring was over and done with alot quicker than
winter, so once we are out of here, we have one more phase.... we haven't got
much time though, so I think we need to pick up the pace."
Tesarik One: As you peer across this desert, you spot nearby a rock pillar
that holds a blinking crystal. Strange, cloudy-white glowing with purplish
radiance. You can kinda spot another pillar out further in the desert. And
then, even harder to
Tesarik One: see, another one even further out. Would anyone like to make a
Knowledge (Arcane) or an Insight Check?

psionic wanderer: "Seems like these are checkpoints, we probably have to get
to all three of them." He pointed to the far one that was hard to make out in
case others hadn't seen it. And then he stepped over to the close one to give
it further
psionic wanderer: examination, since that crystal was unusual.
Tesarik One: She stepped towards the blinking crystal on the pillar and used
her HUD to examine the area in front of them, then pointed towards the pillar
out in the middle of the sand. "Past that pillar, it is not just desert sand.
It appears
TrueRedBlood: "Do we all need to pass them or can we have different people
reach and trigger them for it to work?"
Tesarik One: to be something known as mirror sand. Nearly impossible to
cross. The sand in front of us may be deep, but it is passable."
Tesarik One: Do you touch the crystal, Dash?
psionic wanderer: "Can't tell you that much, I'm just guessing really." Oh
hell, why not.
Tesarik One: The Blink Crystal ...blinked... as it was touched and Dash
appeared next to the pillar out in the middle of the area.
Tesarik One: There was a crystal blinking on that pillar too. And he can see
the third pillar and crystal easier now. And definitely it was mirror sand
between it.
psionic wanderer: Well that was....a thing that happened. He needed one of
these for his ship.
Tesarik One: "Dashiell!" She let out a yell when he disappeared, but then
spotted him across the way. She paused, and looked at the crystal, then at
the group, and then at the crystal again. She touched it.
Tesarik One: And blinked, next to Dashiell.
RageofNocturne: :: Checkpoints huh...--he said and would then draw his Sword
and Shield of Moonsage(grant bonus of 10 feet of speed when used together)
and would move his way over to the crystal and would touch it after AMEE

psionic wanderer: AMEE could still hear him, at least, once he switched to

gone? "Would I be able to fly across the sand?" She asked, curious, she
leaned towards Apollo, letting him know what had happened with Dash.
Tesarik One: Cayden was at the second checkpoint as well.
TrueRedBlood: Well.. it seemed what everyone was doing, she touched the
crystal after Cayden did.
Tesarik One: And Jessica was at the second.
Tesarik One: Jessica, did you put on the ring the pixie gave you by chance?
SwordOfAtrophy: Suddenly people were shouting. "Oh, well that explains it...
if it's poofing people, maybe just use it?" Just to show that he was
fearless, he reached for it. Missed it twice, before he finally got it. Damn
blindness.
psionic wanderer: "Did someone tell the blind guy what we were up to?"
TrueRedBlood: Yes, seemed to be easiest why to carry and not lose it, it was
on a pinkie finger.
Godless Seraph: Frost allowed Apollo to go first before she reached for it
herself, curious as to what would happen.
Tesarik One: You find that you simply seem to remain atop the sand
completely, even in the areas near the pillars you walk atop the sand without
sinking at all. Ring of Sandstriding.
Tesarik One: Apollo, and Frost are at the second checkpoint too!
Tesarik One: So, there is mirror sand between you and the land checkpoint.

Tesarik One: As you find yourself at the final checkpoint, with it's own
blink crystal, there is also a small blue door with a blue keyhole in the
pillar itself. The door is about 1 foot high by 1 foot wide.
Tesarik One: You are all across the desert, against a cavern wall, with the
blink crystal on the pillar.
Tesarik One: And a small door in the pillar.
TrueRedBlood: "Maybe the crystal is the key?"
Tesarik One: This needs a Cobalt Door Key, only a few people ever find them.
Frost found one in Winter.
Godless Seraph: As soon as they were there, Frost looked towards the door.
"Oh!" She moved towards the door with her key. "Let us see..." She looked
from the key to the door and back before attempting to unlock it.
RageofNocturne: :: Well since he didnt need them he would put his shield and
sword upon his back and then looked to Frost-- What you got there? --he asked
then saw her go for the door-D-
Tesarik One: It clicked open, and inside was a pocket of holding with all
manner of loots inside of it (which will be on your receipt since you've
opened it!).
Tesarik One: The door with loots inside does not make you go into any other
section though.
TrueRedBlood: She would hide behind Cayden at this point. "Next is Fall... I
don't want that cold air for a bit!" She'd used him as a shield.
Tesarik One: You still have to figure out how to get to the next section.
RageofNocturne: :: He would ook around then to the blink crystal and would
touch that one?-D-
Tesarik One: Cayden disappears. Blink.
TrueRedBlood: Jessica saw that it didn't work so, over to th crystal as she
would touch it, worked already so why now?
Tesarik One: Jessica disappears.
Godless Seraph: She happily snatched it up, grabbing it she bounced it in
her hand before pocketing it. "Onto the next, eh?" She moved back to Apollo,
taking his wrist once more. "Will we touch the next crystal?"

SwordOfAtrophy: "Fall is great and all, but where is it..." He could sense
that a couple people vanished. "There's another of those things.. Uhhh yea,
let's go, I'm feeling lucky."
Godless Seraph: "Let us then." She moved with him, lifting their hands
together to press the last one.
Tesarik One: She pointed to the crystal, "Captain, it seems this is our way
out." She would touch it, to go first before Dashiell.
psionic wanderer: Oh hey loots. And hten people started vanishing. They
really should go one at a time and wait for a report back, didn't they have
those insignia things? Oh well.
Tesarik One: Apollo, Frost... blink.
Tesarik One: "It is safe," she said in their comm link!
psionic wanderer: "Must be, I guess. Don't have any other ideas, and don't
want to trudge through the desert." So he touched it too, since that seemed
better than being left alone.
Tesarik One: "Well.... as safe as I can tell."
psionic wanderer: Also because it was safe.
Tesarik One: You all appear in a forest, but you can see that the ceiling is
painted to resemble a blue sky full of clouds. There is a disc inset into the
ceiling, a "sun" giving off golden light. It is cool, refreshing after the
heat of the
Tesarik One: desert. There are several fallen trees around you providing
varying degrees of cover, and a carpet of dead and very crunchy leaves spread
across the ground. Crunch, crunch, crunch. Everyone roll a Spot. Or a Listen
for Apollo.

skeleton inside of it a little ways off from the group. It has not spotted
the group yet. It's about 8 feet tall. You can make a Knowledge (Monster
Lore) or Knowledge (Undead)
Tesarik One: i fyou have it. Also, because you got 18+ you see a cobalt blue
door across the distance on the other side of the forest... but you will have
to pass close to the creature.
Tesarik One: "Shhhh," she said suddenly, turning to look at the group.
"There's a creature there, I'm not sure what it is yet. Make no sound, do not

Tesarik One: You know basically what it is. A powerful undead called an
Autumn Death. Deadly, and something that adventurers of your rank would
rather bypass than fight.
SwordOfAtrophy: Don't move, don't breathe? Can do, he was good at hiding,
mostly, though he occasionally tended to knock stuff over when he did.

Tesarik One: "This..." She wasn't quite sure what she was looking at in her
HUD, but it was coming up as something that was a wee bit too powerful for
her to face, possibly the others as well. "It is called an Autumn Death. It
is some sort of
Tesarik One: skeleton, powerful by my data. But there is a door beyond, the
same color as the one we entered. Perhaps we should simply attempt to stealth
our way to the door?"
RageofNocturne: :: He would come to a stop and looked around then to AMEE
and would shrug a bit-- Worth a shot...-D-
Godless Seraph: She tightened her hold on Apollo's wrist, only because of
the comment. Autumn Death certainly did not sound like a good idea. "If we
can... it would be wise." But, she was curious of the creature, her eyes
lingering on the creature.
TrueRedBlood: "Let's just find the way out... you sure that is the door out,
other door didn't lead here, it lead to loot. Maybe we should find the way
out and then attempt that door, so we know an escape route?"
Godless Seraph: What exactly could it do?
Tesarik One: Stealth is QCK based, DC17. If you fail, I'll give you one
chance ot roll a Hide (also QCK based) DC18. Then you can stealth again. If
you fail then, it sees you.
Tesarik One: Did she ask AMEE what it could do?
Tesarik One: "If you get too close it has a region surrounding it that
creates fear. It is immune to acid and cold. It drains strength. It is very
quick and powerful, and can damage us all at once with its leaves," she
whispered. She didn't
Tesarik One: know it's weakness or anything, she hadn't found enough info in
her data.
SwordOfAtrophy: "All of that sounds, not fun.. so I think perhaps we should
find a way to get around in. I doubt it can be reasoned with." He had no
fear, so he decided to ask. "Would you like me to go first?"
TrueRedBlood: "I'd still say we should look for another door, we would need
another key like what Frost found to open that door, right?" She mused about
that.

Tesarik One: To make it easier, let's go SBO. So, AMEE is up first.
psionic wanderer: Oh are we hiding? That's good, he was terrible at hiding.
He was a relentless tracker, not a sneak thief!
SwordOfAtrophy: He was welcome to go strike up a chat with it
psionic wanderer: He'd rather just follow AMEE and probably crunch on leaves
way too loudly.
Tesarik One: AMEE was a rogue, but that didn't mean she was going to always
be good at sneaking around. She'd sure try though, despite the crunch autumn
leaves on the ground she began to move very quietly along the edge of fallen
trees, ducking
psionic wanderer: Then use her as a distraction to escape, he could always
make repairs!
Tesarik One: behind the logs and trees as she could as she attempted to get
to the door on the other side. Surely, they were running out of time.

out and let AMEE or whoever else it notices keep it busy.

different than when they both weighed nothing! Although she wasn't THAT
heavy.

into her body before her long wings hit the air as fast as she could. She was
'running' for the open door with the blind man in tow. "Time to go, my

TrueRedBlood: Once she knew Apollo would be safe, she jumped through the
door to tuck and roll on the shores of Pincer Lake.
Tesarik One: Frost and Apollo make it to the door, just as the stun wears
off and the massive skeletal creature surrounded by leaves turns and sets his
glowing eyes upon the group of you at the door. SLAM IT SHUT!
psionic wanderer: He'd hold the door til everyone got through, because he
was the last one in. Made sense he'd be the last one out too. "I suggest we
get while the gettin's good."

the lake. "Thank you again." She said, kissing his cheek before she released
him from the embrace of woman and wings.

TrueRedBlood: "I am going to find a hot spring tomorrow and do some naked
bathing in that.... just to get rid of that damn cold memory."
