If you meet the requirements for an Epic Power Quest (EPQ), there is a waiting list. These things take a lot of effort to come together, and the Senior DM's only have so much time each week to do this. They will be done in the order that the information required is submitted AND the player/s are available. This is a privilege, not something you are required to do, so if you want to get your panties in a twist over who is getting what done when, you will be pushed to the end of the line!
1. Meet the requirements. See "Epic Power" skill. You also must have a slot available to take this skill.
2. Contact your Senior DM with a fully worked out story of how your character obtains Epic Power. This does NOT have to be magical/mystical but it MUST make sense and be very clear how your character gets more powerful. The DM does not come up with this idea, you present it to the DM. Make sure EVERYTHING that is necessary to YOUR story is presented to the DM, so that when he/she develops the EPQ that nothing you feel is absolutely necessary is left out.
3. You get added to the list. A schedule will hopefully be added to the list. When it's around your time frame, work with the DM on a night and time.
4. Invite those that make sense to attend. If Pam is doing your quest, she does not want more than FIVE on an EPQ. Other DM's may have different requirements.
5. Quest is run, it is up to the DM whether he/she feels that your character "passed" the EPQ. For instance, in some circumstances if your character dies, or does not complete the task you set out for them to complete, they will have to go on another EPQ.
