Tesarik One: Ok Maria's vault has been emptied, and a crudely drawn map
left. The adventurers follow it to Alzorc, where they not only find near
death when Felix touched the rock marked "Death", but they find a clue
leading them into the
Tesarik One: cold, dark, evergreen forest to the north where they are
stalked by an ettin and his two brown bears. You've all just killed the two
bears and the ettin and can now continue to move north through the woods. The
canopy is thick
Tesarik One: above you all, and its dark in the forest as the canopy blocks
the light. The ettin's corpse smells so bad that anyone that doesn't have
"Strong Stomach" vomits if they approach and try to search it. (Continue RP)
Fun Size Fantasy: Felix only touched that rock first because Elly had
actually bothered to ask permission! It could have easily been her getting
blow to almost bits. Probably a good thing it wasn't because she'd needed
her strength to not kill
Fun Size Fantasy: McCrazyPants NobleJerk. Taking a moment to reorient
herself, Elly pulled at the nearby shadows to wrap them around herself in a
protective aura of warmth and protection. [Spell: Aura of Shadows // Absorbs

OriginalDelusion: - See, Lunette was teaching Elly something anyway!. She'd
gotten there late to the party, but there anyway. Darksight helped with the
lacking light. As she followed the sounds into the forrest. She'd missed the
Ettin, but the smell
SwordOfAtrophy: He did have strong stomach, but he wasn't going anywhere
near that thing, he didn't care what treasure it had. Nothing to do, but to
do, and start walking, stretching his arms for the battle ahead. (CM: A

Last of her Line: She had almost forgotten how to get back. Even saying
abra-ka-dabra. Thankfully she remembered at the last second and was currently
shivering to death trying to reacclimate. [d]
OriginalDelusion: seemed to linger. Dead bears, and a party that seemed to
be having a time. The pair of Inifity pistols were pulled from holsters and
into hands. " I think I missed someting insanely gross, or did somone forget

I Brushstroke I: Being from the wintery mountains of his homeland, Felix
knew to keep furlined cloak close around him. The ettin felled meant he had
no more use for being close and so he put as much distance away from it as he
could without leaving
Fun Size Fantasy: "LogenDoesn'tBathe." Just repeating what she'd heard!
The little gnome gave a wink to Lunette and the pointed over at the Ettin
before turning to look around and figure out where they should head.
I Brushstroke I: the party behind. The canopy was observed as he tilted his
head upward into the evergreens to scan with piercing blues. [d]
Aegis of Shalott: Back in the frozen north, he stood in the banded mail, a
cloak covering him with shielf on arm. A faint frown,..but hey that physical
training did help and pay off on things,..even if it just boosted his oomph!

Curiously Bound: Suddenly Kender! Lily popped out of some underbrush and
accidentally happened upon the group. Why was she wandering around in the

Maria to help them, she used trace teleport, otherwise none of you would have
found them up in the woods in Alzorc very, very far from Sarkotos.

fine the other day when I sat and talked with him." A glance in the direction

SwordOfAtrophy: Well to hell with the Ettin, off to continue on the path
where they tread. Hopefully without being followed anymore.
Curiously Bound: momentarily from her quest. "Hello there, where did you all

Fun Size Fantasy: Elly was gone guys! Someone grab Lily. Yes there were
two of them now.
Curiously Bound: You'd have to get close to the ettin to get Lily.
Aegis of Shalott: A gentleman! He had th longsword in hand moving forward
and looking to head deeper into the trees.
OriginalDelusion: Shadow insects swarmed and she almost had a fit as she
turned to glare at Piper, but they seemed to be harmless and the cool of the
shadows was something she was used to. Spending too much time around Ella and
her shadow family. A
Tesarik One: You are all going uphill, the farther you head the steeper it
gets, still shrouded in alpine forest. The ground is not only slick with snow
and ice, but covered in rock and rubble.
Roguish Luck: "Let's keep moving.." Elly had the right idea. Another bout of
snow was made to wash his hands off the blood spray from the mithral vein.
Eyes turned ahead and waited for the lot to continue. He'd keep following up
with the rear.
OriginalDelusion: soft sigh. " So long as it stays out of my line of
sight... Ell..." She glanced around. " Gnome was gone. " The gnome is gone,
where's the Ken.." Oh lord..." She fell into movement in a hurry. Trying to

looked up at Piper and sniffed in response before pushing to get going again

Tesarik One: Ok so northWEST. You are still traveling on an uphill, and the
evergreen forest is thinning around you. As you move along following the
direction of the massive stone arrow, you soon can see the mouth of a large
cave ahead of you.
I Brushstroke I: Once the rocks purpose was made clear, Felix began the
climb in the direction they were to go trudging upward as if it were nothing
to him. [d]
Fun Size Fantasy: winter. And just because it's funny to tell someone else
this! "DontGetTooFarAheadRune!" -f-
Fun Size Fantasy: Oh and she got a potion. That was tucked away for later!
SwordOfAtrophy: "Into the mouth of hell we march.." Mumbled, spit on the
ground. Walking was hard, yo. "Oh look, a cave.. a dark.. dank.. cave.. how

Curiously Bound: Lily was making a flurry of snow while scrambling up the
hill to reach Lunette and Elly. Then she'd calm down enough as needed to

level was reaching epic today!
Roguish Luck: losing his footing at all. Eyes began to drift between the
others in search for a target. "At least we know the bears aren' t home."
Tesarik One: As you reach the mouth of the cave, which is a good 10 feet
tall and 15 feet wide, you all see very easily that it looks like a sheet of
ice covers the entrance floor. It looks clear and slick.
Curiously Bound: "Ice! That's convenient!" And yes, Lily would rush right
out to go sliding on the ice, because fun![d]
Roguish Luck: "...Oh god damnit..."
Tesarik One: Well then Lily, as you rush onto the "ice" you realize very
quickly that it is not ice at all.
Last of her Line: "Oh hell.... "
OriginalDelusion: She'd already let Elly go now that she'd pointed out the
rocks. The flurry of snow from the Kender had her snickering, and a glance at
Logen bringing up the rear with what looked like a snowball. " Oh hell." She

Tesarik One: The tunnel is littered with bear traps, some visible and some
barely visible beneath rubble.
Aegis of Shalott: He was just shoving up with a limp now, that shield was
taken up once more and he let the others move on forward to scout for traps.

Curiously Bound: "Lucky I did or you all would've gotten stuck." Ever so
maturely stuck her tongue out.[d]
Last of her Line: "Ellywick, can you use your stick that you had earlier to
try and snare the traps so we can get past?" [d]
Fun Size Fantasy: Elly grinned when she was unleashed upon the cave. And
she very quietly moved to follow the kender. Pausing to hand Magnus a
Healing Potion to see if that would help any. Then she was off. ( Can Elly
set the traps off? )
Curiously Bound: "Oooooh, lots of bear traps. They're all over. Tsk, tsk,
someone's been busy." She seemed amused by all this.[d]

shrug a bit and then smirked and looked to the woman who said they would have

Roguish Luck: "Yeah... Not uncommon to find bear traps in caves..." Sweep of
torch to light up the floor beneath him as he walked. Torch waved around,
taking care not to set anyone on fire.
Tesarik One: Yes, you can use something to set the traps off, they are just
basic snap bear traps.
Last of her Line: And this is why she and the lupine weren't in the front or
near the flame toting Logen.
Curiously Bound: The kender never stopped advancing, though. Just pointing
out some as she saw them on the way. Those in her path, she'd kneel down and
disable them.[d]
Fun Size Fantasy: While normally she would have fun using cheese for this
kind of thing she was sure that it wouldn't work. She started grabbing at
some of the rocks to drop them down on the worst of the traps to set them off
that lily didn't get
Roguish Luck: Logen wouldn't set anyone on fire with the torch. He'd use his
rainbow colored middle finger nail.
I Brushstroke I: Felix padded near Rune now as eyes remained white while he
saw through her eyes. He was wary of the flame but not so much as the traps
that were set.
Fun Size Fantasy: mostly because some people weren't too good at walking the
straight and narrow!
OriginalDelusion: She leaned down to scoop up a hand full of decent sized
Rocks. " Hey hey... Back up Elly...."

Tesarik One: After a good 30 feet of traps along the tight tunnel, the
tunnel opened up into a larger rounded cavern. Stalagmites and stalactites
visible, even small pools of water mostly frozen over, and lots and lots of
rocks and rubble. It

Tesarik One: was a good 12 feet high, and 12 feet wide but those with
darkvision could see the tunnel continued on the other side of this rubble
strewn cavern.
I Brushstroke I: The low growl was a sound of agreement with the question
posed to the Dire wolf. He was able to Beastspeak to respond verbally.
"Quite.. either form leaves me vulnerable. I don't like it." White eyes
swiveled as he still used her

chase." He frowned and continued limping,..till Elly gave him the potion and

Those with weapons of metal also find smaller stones sticking to your weapons
as well, but it is those with the metal armor that find the largest rocks
slamming into

boards which have a layer of rubble on them to try and look like the cave
floor. It's about 2 feet wide, so can be stepped over.
