Hyojin wasn't entirely sure what all to bring with him, this wasn't the school trip or a camp out back home. So, he winged it; drawing a large duffel bag full of clothes that were realm appropriate and left it at that. He figured if he'd forgotten something really necessary he could just make it on the fly. That way his load was a bit lighter, but yet he wasn't completely empty-handed either.
The only place the vishkanya was used to in this realm was Navahla, in particular the Obsidian Heart Inne. So, as they arrived in Shallott, dark eyes darted to and fro taking in everything and committed it to memory as best he could. It was a rounded sort of city, and as he traveled he noticed that the largest building was called 'the keep' and he wondered if it was called that because you kept on seeing it; but he never asked for fear of being rude. As Lorelei became evident, he noticed the structures of the houses changing only slightly and even those were surrounded by so much organic greenery that reminded him of the emerald isles he read about back in his realm.
Eventually, he and his traveling companion Lunette arrived at the Singing Siren Inne and made their arrangements for overnight. As they claimed each bed and began unpacking he marveled, "I've never seen anything like this place in person, in my life. It's like one big painting I'm walking through. Not to mention.. the Keep was almost like a castle." He wondered if any leprechauns would jump out from behind one of the green hills they past on their way to the Inne.
Hyo was a little like a kid in a candy store; their first stop was an artist's dream. Hearing her put off arctic locations such as 'Rumeria' lower on the list for their road trip he chuckled and nodded in agreement, "No argument there. Just.. how bad does it get?" [ d ]
