someething that you remember (Ran, Rei) just don't spoil it! It's been years
since I ran it though so maybe you won't remember.

Tesarik One: The jagged Bristleback Mountains rise above Rockery in Madder.
It is the last supply outpost that can be found for many miles before a
dangerous trek across the mountains will lead travelers to the
Tesarik One: next kingdom, Sarkotos. Escaped slaves are often ran to ground
here, desperate to flee into the free kingdoms they find this outpost to be
their only chance at freedom. The populace, sympathetic to the
Tesarik One: escaped slaves, had opened their long abandoned mines that
stretch from beneath the town and end on the opposite side of the mountain
range. The dried up town well acts as the hidden entrance to this
Tesarik One: escape route. Maria has been informed that through the
generations that this escape route has been in use, lots of valuables and
wealth was hidden along the way. So Maria has asked you all to go and
Tesarik One: traverse the old paths, and seek treasure!

Tesarik One: Ok! Dumb old bot. So, Maria has paid a Port Mage to open a
portal to Rockery, right outside the old well. The portal is open, whoever
would like to go explore and seek wealth can go through!

SwordOfAtrophy: Wealth? Meh. Exploration? Double meh. A cure for boredom?

heart had often times groups were sent before she arrived. Tonight she

TheWyldTyger: A treasure hunt? Well, you could count Rei in on that! He
made a quick run to his room to gather a few odds and ends that might prove
useful in such a trek, set an ioun stone(pearlized brown ellipsoid) to
spinning around his head
Tesarik One: Lu found a babysitter for Skylar, probably Uncle Dae! This left
her willing and able to go on this treasure hunt for Maria. She wasn't afraid
of small places, really, but she didn't like water. She hoped the well was
not going to

Tesarik One: prove an issue to the spider. Gathering her belongings, she
nodded to Maria and then stepped on through the portal to Rockery in Madder.
RageofNocturne: is larger gun was slung across his back for now as he looked
around then took his cane and held it in his hand then tapped it onto the
ground a bit before he stepped through the portal-D-
TheWyldTyger: and headed on through the portal, putting the last touches on
making his gear sit just so about his person. And of course Uncle Dae was
watching the munchkin! He stretched a bit as he waited for everyone to
gather that was going

all the weapons and placed flowers instead so it is cheerful in the home

all, that katana held in her small hands. She stopped, staring into the
portal for a moment, not one to rush off like a bat out of hell. But Lu went,

TheWyldTyger: to show up and drew on some of his training to help him be a
bit more prepared. Odds were if there was treasure hidden, it would be

Tesarik One: It is night, and there is no one around in the town. The old
dried up well has a wood covering that has a lock on it, but the wood looks
old and brittle - easily broken.
TheWyldTyger: Well, if the wood was brittle, that lock might come in handy
down the line. He set about pushing towards the well, speaking up before
someone bashed it in: "Give me a moment with this lock. Would be a shame to
llose it."

Blaster and well he would aim but then the other got in the way so he

TheWyldTyger: The lock sprung open and a grin lit up his face slightly. It
was old, there were good odds it could've been rusted. He slipped the lock
in his pack, wanting to examine it for ways to strengthen it before deciding
what to do with
TheWyldTyger: it. "Well, we can make less noise now at the very least."
Tesarik One: Lu wasn't going to be the one to break it open anyway, so she
stood aside and let Rei work his magic on the lock. Would be quieter to just
pick the lock anyway. She gave him a smack on the shoulder and a grin when he
picked it so
Tesarik One: easily, "Good job."
TheWyldTyger: He just grinned a the praise, sweeping a bow to Lu and
slipping his tools away into his sleeves in the process. "Nothing but the
best. Anything less is someone else's fault, after all." He rose with a
chuckle, his expression and

Tesarik One: Well then, the top is opened with ease. The stone making up the
walls are uneven making easy handholds to the dry bottom. It is large enough
around for two medium people to climb down at a time.
SwordOfAtrophy: Jane watched the lock fall open. It didn't much matter
either way to her, though tactically less noise was usually better. She
peered down the dark well that neat little crown lighting up the darkness
because it was cool like
TheWyldTyger: body language making it seem as if he was joking about it.
"I'll go on ahead, make sure the way is clear." He hopped over once he'd
lifted the door/lid, landing spryly on a rung. "I'll send a message through
the insignia if it's
SwordOfAtrophy: that. "Looks like an easy enough climb, provided nobody
falls on anyone."
Tesarik One: It's obvious upon looking down that it is a dried up well, no
water.

TheWyldTyger: He made his way down as quickly as he dared, testing the
footing gently before each step down the ladder. He peered about as he
reached the bottom, checking the ground ahead of him to the path(Trap Sense:

and can be pushed in, revealing a tunnel beyond it.
AMarieDarkrose: :: she smiled sweetly to Gabe as she looked down the weel
afterwards then speaks to him :: as you wish but im not changeing my mind ,
and geeze i hope he is alright down there dont wish for him to be hurt

TheWyldTyger: He pondered that a moment as he relayed what he found to the
rest of the group. "Was pretty easy going down, seems safe. Found a secret
tunnel." He then decided to wait til everyone was down that could fit before
opening what
TheWyldTyger: he'd found.
RanuIfr: ::Well hearing that he just swung over the edge and was making his
way down now via the handholds. Hey he was a pretty savy climber,..you know
spending most his time in the knockskulls.:: *D
Tesarik One: Well, it's a well so there's not a lot of space, way more space
in the tunnel. One more person could fit down.
TheWyldTyger: Well, after that realization, he found the latch for the
tunnel and opened it, taking up the lead position again. So far, it was
working out pretty well.
RageofNocturne: :: Then you can find your own home to decorate however you
like because last time i checked. My home...was my home. --he said and then
would make his way down after Ranulfr went down-D-
SwordOfAtrophy: She'd wait, and when the opportunity presented itself, climb
down the well. Her feet and hands were pretty sure as well.
Tesarik One: Lu climbed over after Ran and began to climb down with ease,
she was a spider after all, they did a lot of climbing. But she waited for
the others to move down before she went too far.
Tesarik One: Once Ran went into the tunnel she climbed in behind him and
then stood upwards.
RanuIfr: ::Down into the tunnel he ducked then rose up and would glance
arond, hand raised to scratch at the scruffy jaw as he moved forward shifting
his hand back some, caching the strap of the shield he slid it from his back

Tesarik One: She used her everlasting match to light her hip lantern, so
she'd have a way to see. She only had Low Light Vision after all. She began
to look around, and waited for the others to get down and into the tunnel.
Tesarik One: The tunnel stretches northeast into darkness. The walls are
shored up with timber and clay. Every 20 feet or so unlit torches lie in
brackets attached to support beams. It is pitch dark in the tunnel,
Tesarik One: so you all need a way to see.
TheWyldTyger: He paused a moment as he was moving through the tunnel,
fishing a headband from his pocket and wrapping it in place around his
forehead(Watch Lamp: Provides light as a torch upon command word, disappears
on command word, also, Low-
AMarieDarkrose: :: she climbed down the well as oh Gabes words was getting
to her becomeing less happy but now of a bit mad as she clinched her sword
and the staff that was on her hip she trys to get back into that happy mood
but well Gabe is
TheWyldTyger: Light Vision). He activated the torch and progressed on as
quickly as he could manage, walking on his hands and feet to speed the
process through the tunnel.
RageofNocturne: :: At the bottom he looked around easily as he could
normally see in the dark and with his brooch of alertness it allowed him to
see furthur into the dark (120 feet) and also allowed him to see in lowlight
aswell. He once down there

RanuIfr: ::Well so many folks were popping out lanterns and such it did make
it fairly easy to see,..so he just kept his shield quite for the time being
as he moved forward.:: *D
SwordOfAtrophy: The spiffy cats eye crown gave her a cats night eyes, which
was cool, since her poor human eyes usually couldn't cut it. "Spooky scary
skeletons.."

Tesarik One: You all walk through the eerie tunnel for a ways, before you
begin to see signs of the passage of others. Scraps of clothing, rusted
pieces of metal, and various other small items that got left behind

bury you in a dayum box next to your fucking house then :: oh yes now she is
pissed and she dont care as she pushed her way through the dark seeing very
little in front

The noise of the conversation was carried further through the tunnels. He

TheWyldTyger: His hands twitched to the hood of his cloak a moment, too
quick to think of the shelter of invisibility. He spoke up then, through the
insignia: "I can help us all move more quietly, but it will require you all

fell, and there was a pouch. Didn't do a whole lot of good, just sitting in
the wall, so she took it out and peered in. Hmm, some coins and... well it

see if the offer was intriguing, or if they thought it an unneccessary
precaution.

Tesarik One: The first was not prepared for the onslaught by the Zorcan, but
the second one he went for had learned from the mistake of his pal, and
quickly disapated into the shadows as the axe went through.

Tesarik One: This downward sloping passage is lit by clusters of luminous
fungi. If any of you disturb the fungus, you will feel slightly ill within

several caches of food, water, clothing and maps to the kingdom beyond the

Tesarik One: This passage leads to a seemingly empty circular room.

First.... as you glance around at all the stuff, you notice movement. There
are several Raggamoffyn's.... which are mysterious creatures that form of the

Tesarik One: magical cloaks, boots and weapons when they get worn out.
Sentient clumps of cloth, leather and metal. They aren't very powerful
though, so you all can just rp destroying them, no dice needed!
Tesarik One: They attempt to engulf and constrict you when they attack, and
even try to control you if they wrap around you.
AMarieDarkrose: :: she looked around her as she saw all the things then saw
movement as she swallowed hard before turning to see Gabe with her :: noting

Tesarik One: "Gods, what is this shit?" She saw ...pieces of scrap cloth and
metal and all coming together and it attempted to fly at her and wrap around
her. She pulled her bow and got a flaming arrow ready, and sent it at the
raggamoffyn.
Tesarik One: "Is this what happens to our magical items when it gets worn
out? Good gods. It's kind of creepy."
RanuIfr: Animated bits of th-this and th-that, and possibly. ::He would
continue on and looked back, well it seemed the one rogue had gone silent and
to the back of the class.::
SwordOfAtrophy: "It's kind of endearing in a.. items have feelings sort of
way.." She was having fun cutting them into pieces, trying to be all zorro
like and cut letters into cloaks before they hit the floor.
Tesarik One: They weren't very powerful, and easily dispatched. The tunnel
did continue one, but if you all wanna do a good search of the room for
treasure, roll a Search!

Tesarik One: At the end of the long tunnel followed in FREEDOM you all will
again feel the movement of air and scent of the mountains. The end of their
trek however leads to a recently installed iron gate covering
Tesarik One: the exit of the tunnels. Apparently Sarkotos has gotten tired
of letting in escapees! The iron gate can be overcome with enough combined
strength though (DC18 STR).
RageofNocturne: :: He looked around then made his way along after finding
something to pocket and made his way along then stopped and got his Plasmatic
Striker from his back and fired at the gate!-D-

Tesarik One: Lu hauled out what she found, and came to the gate. She could
shift and crawl through but she didn't have really much strength. She was a
ranger, not a close combat fighter after all. She moved aside as others came
for the gate.
