Roguish Luck: Violeta [ 0/35 HP (22) ] - Logen [ 0/39 (20) ]
Roguish Luck: ~*~ Is Coming ~*~
Roguish Luck: So there they were. The night had finally arrived where
Violeta would seek an end to the skeletons in her closet, the past that was
holding her back from pursuing a future. The stray, Logen, had convinced her
to confront her enemies
Roguish Luck: back in Doxenia and this night was the beginning. The means to
an end and hopefully, a grand beginning. By way of Port Union and the cost
coming out of their own pocket, (-500 GP to Both Players), the two of them
were teleported
Roguish Luck: throughout space and time to Westby, Doxenia. That was their
beginning to this story, appearing before an entourage of well-armed Knights
acting as Border Patrol for incoming patrons into the Capital. Among them was
Sir Roland
Roguish Luck: Burmis, Knight of the Howling Wolf Order. The middle-aged man
would allow them to gain their bearings, patiently waiting. They were out of
ear shot for a time. [ Begin Play ]
Violeta Capraru: The arrival at Westby came not only with the twisted guts
that came with teleporting, but with a ball of nerves in her chest as well.
This was the start of it--a visit back to a past much rather forgotten. It
never went away,
Violeta Capraru: though. Never would. Logen was right on that. So it was,
with the crisp air of Westby running under her nose, drawn deep into her
lungs in pushing off the nausea, Violeta was 'home.' As home as this place
could be to a gypsy, that
Violeta Capraru: is. She'd much rather consider it a prison she'd escaped
from. All geared up with everywhere to go, the springy-haired Rom turned her
eyes over the scene, viewing the patrol in nothing more than a passing glance
in what was a look
Violeta Capraru: to her companion. She spoke light and in Voivan, "... seems
we have a welcoming committee..." -d-
Roguish Luck: Logen took the teleportation a little bit harder than Violeta.
He had to raise a hand to his abdomen as if he was trying to support the
twist inside. Blue eyes blinked and winced as they came to reality within
Westby. Her words were
Roguish Luck: barely caught on to by the newly formed ears. Logen quirked a
brow towards her and then followed her gaze with a pained look. Knights. He
gave them a long and steady look, noting the similiarities in stature and
structure. It was
Roguish Luck: comparable to his own people back on Earth. The dark green and
browns of their dress seemed well and their Coat of Arms had him smirking
abit. "They seem friendly enough.." Imagine that, the Get appreciating
Wolves.[d]
Violeta Capraru: Vi snorted through her nose. Friendly. Yeah, right. Knights
weren't exactly open arms to gypsies. Keeping her eyes on Logen at that
point, she waited with him until the upheveal in his gut had unraveled and
eased, and then with his
Violeta Capraru: nod, she'd give him a light smile. "Well then, shall we?"
Vi stayed at his side as they walked, looking about to all the familiarity of
the place. The years had made it nostaligic, and only slightly foreign. It
wasn't until they
Violeta Capraru: neared the knights that she turned her eyes their way,
allowing herself to skim the many faces. -d-
Roguish Luck: Logen would accompany her to the group of Men at Arms, hands
staying at his side with a slight swagger to his step. He was comfortable in
his approach, even if he dwarfed the lot of them. [d]
Roguish Luck: As the two approached, Sir Roland stepped forward, accompanied
by two others. Neither of the others wore the white belt that Roland did. As
the wolfish man stepped forward and thus between the visitors and the lawmen,
a better
Roguish Luck: detail could be gathered of him. He was dressed as a Knight of
the Howling Wolf Order. Dark green surcoat covered most of the armor that he
wore. In his left hand was a heavy steel shield, emblazoned with the heraldry
of his Order.
Roguish Luck: His outfit was immaculate, clean and without a seam frayed.
His face had been weathered and aged from experience and battle, but those
dark green eyes remained ever aware, ever delving. He had almost an aura to
him. Confidence,
Roguish Luck: justified and steady. His face was unshaven, scruffy yet
equally displaced. He might have only been six foot tall, but the man seemed
sturdy in his steps and stature. "Good evening, travelers. I am Sir Roland
Burmis." His voice
Roguish Luck: thick with a similiar accent to Logen. "This is just a simple
ordeal, we'd like your names and purpose for visiting Westby." It was just a
screening for the two of them. The men behind the Knight only served as
reinforcements if the
Roguish Luck: they* needed to be. [d]
Violeta Capraru: Vi watched at the knight as he introduced himself, putting
on a small smile for him.. at least enough of one to offer up friendliness.
"G'evening, Sir Burmis." She knew the similarity in the Doxenian voice to
Logen's own--it had
Violeta Capraru: been noticed weeks prior, in the market when he first
bumped in to her. Of course her own voice had a touch of it, growing up on
Doxenia as she had, but there were very many more layers. "I am Violeta
Capraru, and I am here to pay
Violeta Capraru: respects to my Uncle Makum, and to show my fiance around
the place where I grew up." Logen just got upgraded, and with a large smile
sent his way, too. -d-
Roguish Luck: Logen offered up his hand towards Roland in an offered
handshake as Violeta spoke for the both of them. "Logen Wolfsbane, pleasure
to meet you, Sir Roland." Logen's accent might have helped them just a
little. On his face was a
Roguish Luck: genuine smile. Doxenia had his kinda people in it. Something
atleast close to home. [d]

Roguish Luck: Burmis had taken the handshake from Logen and simply gave an
eye towards Violeta. He knew something was off with that statement. Once
Logen had released his hand from the shake, those dark green eyes set to the
Gypsy. "There's some
Roguish Luck: truth in there, isn't there Ms. Capraru... What is the lie?"
Burmis took on an expression of forewarning. Do NOT lie to him again.[d]
Violeta Capraru: She rose a brow, peering back his way. The smile lowered
from her face. Wow, he was a perceptive one, wasn't he..? "... mm?" Tipping
her head, she smiled again. "... he's not my fiance. I was toying with him.."
Her lips pushed to
Violeta Capraru: one side, then she looked down, frowning a little after
that. -d-
Roguish Luck: Logen offered a smirk towards Sir Roland, slightly
uncomfortable. "It's true, eh... She's mine.." He said with a slight bit of
passion behind it, "but I haven't asked her to wed yet.." Violeta was given a
sidelong glance. "Gonna
Roguish Luck: make it a point to bring that up every where we go?"[d]

Roguish Luck: They were telling the truth on the subject. Logen had in deed
not asked Violeta to be his wife. The tension was removed from his brow for a
moment. The relaxation of his shoulders assisted the men behind him to relax
their grip upon
Roguish Luck: weapons as well. Sir Roland gave them a once over, maybe
twice. He would straighten his shoulders and speak to the both of them very
clearly. "Alright... Violeta Capraru, Logen Wolfsbane... while in Westby,
you'll abide by Common
Roguish Luck: Law. Do not break these laws or you'll be in the brig before
you can whistle. And Logen... Marry the woman and teach her proper manners."
Roland then stepped to the side and swept his arms towards the rest of the
city. "Enjoy your
Roguish Luck: visit." [d]
Violeta Capraru: Violeta listened though did not smile again, only moving to
take her hand in a curl about the back of Logen's bicep, nearer his elbow.
She nodded but did not add words, keeping silent until ushered forward.
Proper manners. Ha! Vi
Violeta Capraru: would laugh about that later. Stepping on with Logen at her
side, she slid her hand down his arm, laced her fingers with the thick sorts
of his and lead them off towards the more congested parts of the city. -d-
Roguish Luck: Logen had a clear path before him and he was taking it and
Violeta along with him in escort. Once they had passed the detail of men,
Logen looked down towards Violeta with a raised brow. "Proper.." The only
word he spoke before
Roguish Luck: offering a grin towards her. He looked back out ahead towards
the large city before them and simply raised both brows. "So...where to
first?"[d]
Violeta Capraru: Vi watched out at the city, eyes large to take in the
detail of a place she once lived but was never quite a part of. So much had
happened here. Continuing in Voivan, Vi turned her smile and gaze his was as
she spoke, "... to see an
Violeta Capraru: old friend of mine. I want to know what the orphanage has
been like over the years.. and if she knows anything of importance of it."
Keeping his hand, the gypsy nodded them down an eastern road. She made it a
point to walk them
Violeta Capraru: about the perimeter of the city, just to keep them a good
deal away from the orphanage, itself. The further they got in to the
'seedier' side of town, the more apparent. The Red Hood brothel was not
exactly existing in obscure way,
Violeta Capraru: either. Hopefully Logen wasn't too surprised when the Rom
stopped at the door and began conversing with one of the girls there.. asking
for Lela Springwell. -d-
Roguish Luck: Surprised? No. Amused. Yes. Logen glanced over the decorations
of the brothel, noting the cartoonish depiction of a buxom and bonnie 'Little
Red Riding Hood' displayed in a very provocative fashion upon the door. Eyes
looked towards
Roguish Luck: Violeta for a moment before turning his attention to the girl
she was speaking with.[d]
Roguish Luck: It didn't take long for the conversation to unfold. The girl
they were speaking to seemed a little confused at the pair coming up and
asking for Half for the Night. It wasn't necessarily out of the ordinary for
a couple wanting to
Roguish Luck: share a whore, but the size of Logen had the girl thinking
exactly how many girls would it take to please the giant of a man. Her lips
curled in to a cheshire grin at the thought before leading the pair inside
the Red Hood. Bringing
Roguish Luck: them in to the parlor, she would gesture at some furniture for
the two to sit and wait. The lavished decorations inside were mixed with
colors that brought on the tempting ideas of sultry pleasures. Dark crimsons
and darkened golds
Roguish Luck: were highlights, mixed of cushions, drapes and shades for the
kerosene lanterns. All of the wood was polished and cherry stained
accentuating the lusty establishment. Before too long, after the girl had
disappeared in to a back room
Roguish Luck: another woman would come out, dressed in nothing but
stalkings, bodice and corsette. The color of the lace and silk was black, of
course. This was the Mistress of the House. New management though, a woman
that Violeta would not know
Roguish Luck: or be familiar with. She approached the two while they were
seated and set her hands on her hips after they had stopped swaying to and
fro from their sultry steps. "So, you two are interested in Half for the
Night..? Rates are two
Roguish Luck: crowns an hour, each..." The woman had offered Logen a wink
before continuing. "You might find her a bit unable to handle the both of
you... Might I interest you in a different piece of goods?" The woman had a
list to rattle off if
Roguish Luck: they accepted.[d]
Violeta Capraru: Vi watched the woman come in, tipping her head a bit as she
let her eyes follow up to a new face. She had expected another, but did not
bat an eyelash to portray her curiosity on where Madame had gone. It did not
matter enough to
Violeta Capraru: inquire. "Na, he's just going to watch.. she should be able
to handle that just fine." Plucking the payment free from the confines of her
cloak, Vi set the payment to the arm of the couch and looked back her way.
Sure she could say
Violeta Capraru: she only wanted to talk to Lela, but wouldn't matter,
either. Here? It was all about the payment. -d-
Roguish Luck: Logen is just going to what? The Northman was confused and
gave Violeta a look of confusion. As she paid for the both of them, Logen
simply shook his head with a grin. Yeah, the conversation put ideas in his
head and Violeta
Roguish Luck: couldn't blame him for such. He just set his eyes to the
floor, the grin staying plastered to his face.[d]
Roguish Luck: The Mistress took up the coins and palmed them and then
gestured towards the staircase off to the side. [ - 4 GP from Violeta ] "Then
right this way, Little miss Lela will be with you shortly." After that, she
waited for the two of
Roguish Luck: them to rise to their feet. The Mistress paused and glanced
between Violeta and Logen, pausing shortly on the Northman. Of course, eyes
veered towards his crotch for a moment which only brought a mischievous grin
to her face before
Roguish Luck: leading them up the staircase. Lela, you lucky girl... Down
the hallway they would turn and in to a room they would turn. It was quaint..
It was small.. The damn bed was made for a damn child. As were the other
furnishings. The
Roguish Luck: ceiling was tall enough for Logen to stand up straight, but
everything seemed...miniaturized. Once they were settled, the Mistress would
head off, taking the coins for the till and to signal Lela she had work to
do.[d]
Violeta Capraru: Haha. Shortly. She got it. Smirking, Vi rose to walk
towards the stairwell, glancing back just in time to see the management give
Logen a closer watching at. "I'm not paying you.. but I'll start charging if
you keep up with the peep
Violeta Capraru: show, lady." The gypsy kept a good eye on the woman until
they were in the mini-room, and she'd walked off to do whatever or whoever.
With one eye slightly narrowed, Vi took a slow meandering through the room.
Aside from new decor,
Violeta Capraru: the layout of Lela's room was much the same. "Hopefully you
didn't want another 'piece' while you're waiting?" Grinning over to Logen,
obviously kidding. -d-
Roguish Luck: "Not if I have to pay for it.." Logen had gotten passed being
stared at like a thick slab of meat, nor was he offended that Violeta
referred to him as livestock to be charged for a ride. Logen found a comfy
corner and took a lean
Roguish Luck: against it. Arms came to fold over his chest as he watched
Violeta inspect the surroundings. "So who is this friend of your's?"[d]

Roguish Luck: Violeta's inspection of the room yields nothing of interest,
or she was just looking in the wrong places. She'll never know. But it didn't
take long for their meeting to occur. Enter Lela. The young woman only stood
at five feet
Roguish Luck: even. Seemingly childlike, except for the development of her
busty chest and onion shaped ass. A sight to bring a tear to any man's eye.
She also had a sway to her hips as she walked. Her bright green eyes were set
upon Violeta's
Roguish Luck: ass when she stepped in, already enthused for her hour's work.
She trailed up her calves and thighs to the rump that was hugged by leather
all throughout. "Mmhm.." She quietly hummed to herself. She was on the
approach to grab a
Roguish Luck: handful of her customer when she turned to glance to the side
at the giant of a man in the corner. And it made her stop for a moment. She
hadn't seen a man that size before and only thought of the horror it would be
to have one.
Roguish Luck: Quickly she came up behind Violeta and wrapped her arms around
her middle, hands starting to slide. "Please, pleease tell me it's only you I
get to play with tonight.." Lela hadn't realized who it was just yet.[d]
Violeta Capraru: "Well.. I did live in this place for a couple of years.
Lela was a friend of mine and.-" Enter Half for the Night. In truth, Violeta
hadn't noticed her entry until the half pint's hands were already playing
down towards her hips.
Violeta Capraru: Vi heard the words and laughed.. truly laughed. "Lel, you
dun have to play with anyone.. least for the hour." Pulling one arm in, she'd
turn a bit at the waist, taking her head and eyes in a slide to try and view
her. "And what the
Violeta Capraru: fuck happened to Madame Ellaina?" -d-
Roguish Luck: Lela's eyes lit up whenever she recognized the voice of her
old friend. Once Violeta had turned about, Lela would lean in and wraps her
short arms around Violeta's waist and hold her in a tight hug. Well, as tight
as a Halfling
Roguish Luck: could go. "Vi!" She would lean back as her face was cradled by
those soft hands, her own coming to rest on Violeta's hips once more. "Madame
Ellaina? Well.. She retired! She got married and now goes by Mrs. Burmis...
But to Hell
Roguish Luck: with her, where have you been!? Where's Alex?!" The Halfling
was super excited and could spew out more and more questions. "And...who's
your friend?" That subject seemed to dampen her mood a little, face turning
so eyes could study
Roguish Luck: the Northman. [d]
Roguish Luck: Logen himself, didn't move an inch. His arms stayed folded
over his chest, just idly watching the two. Who the Hell was Alex?[d]
Violeta Capraru: Laughing again Vi wrapped her long arms about Lela, pulling
her in for a tight hug, one that rocked a little side-to-side happily. She
always liked the halfling. Leaning back to watch down at her, the very
obvious blink had Vi
Violeta Capraru: ending her shock in a snicker. That imposing, immovable man
married Madame? How... odd! And funny, too! She beamed a smile but seconds
before Lela bowled the expression down, bringing up Alex. "I haven't seen
Alex in years.. I am
Violeta Capraru: not sure. She dropped her shoulders a small bit, though
ultimately turned to watch back at Logen as she questioned of him. "This is
Logen.. my someday fiance." Smirk. -d-
Roguish Luck: Talk about a life change. Lela glanced from Logen and then up
to Violeta. It wasn't that she disapproved of the two, she just much
preferred Violeta and Alex together. It was familiar and fun. Her new squeeze
was silent...and huge.
Roguish Luck: "So then..." Spoken with a little more pep to change the
subject for herself. "Why are you here if you didn't come to play?" Lela
grinned slightly at her own little quirk. She had wandering hands, the
Halfling did. Violeta would
Roguish Luck: find that her hands had been given a squeeze at both sides by
the small hands. Lela would step away from her, naturally swaying those hips
as she started to approach Logen, canting her head to one side. What was
extraordinary about
Roguish Luck: a giant man that would have taken Violeta by the hand?[d]
Roguish Luck: Logen pushed off from his lean against the wall, arms coming
down to fall at his side as he took a step forward towards Lela. The sinews
in his arms bulging as his muscles tensed throughout his body. The girl
was...miniscule in
Roguish Luck: comparison, standing only a foot and half shorter than the
Get. One single brow rose as he eyed the Halfling in suspicion.[d]
Violeta Capraru: Keeping her eyes on Lela, Vi couldn't help the smile that
remained on her face. She could understand why, given the halfling probably
expected Vi's tastes to go in a completely different direction. Keeping with
the movement towards
Violeta Capraru: Logen, she shook her head and grinned. "I want to know what
you've seen of the Matron and her husband lately.." Lela knew a good deal of
the horrid place, having heard the story of it from a young Violeta when she
first arrived at
Violeta Capraru: the Red Hood. "I want to see if I can get in......" -d-
Roguish Luck: Lela glanced over her shoulder for a moment back towards
Violeta with a more serious look upon her face. "Eh... Hasn't changed...
Orphans and refugees still go in and eventually get 'adopted'..." Violeta
would know what that meant.
Roguish Luck: Once a child had been used up, ruined for play... They got
'adopted', never to be seen again. But that wasn't what she wanted to be
interested in right as of yet. Her Curiousity was getting to the better of
her. She took a few more
Roguish Luck: smaller steps towards Logen, face turning and tilting to look
up at him, donning a clever and mischief filled smile. She slowly reached
out, setting her palm flat against his abdomen, wondering just how many lines
the man's flesh
Roguish Luck: was cut and defined in to. "Getting in should be easy during
the day.. Just show up to adopt a child... But that's not what you're
wanting, is it?"[d]
Roguish Luck: Logen sent a look over towards Violeta. It expressed, Get your
friend away from me, lest I punt her through the window.'[d]
Violeta Capraru: Hasn't changed. That was a relief and a sadness all the
same. How many children had been put to that abuse over the years? Suddenly
Vi felt a bit of shame at not having found a way to end the Hell of a place
earlier. Seeing her with
Violeta Capraru: Logen.. and seeing Logen's face, she managed a playful
smile and stepped up to ease her hand away from its touch on the Northman.
Instead of swatting it off, Vi laced her fingers and walked the pair of them
back to the mini-bed.
Violeta Capraru: "No, I would rather find my way around the house without
that sort of guise. They would know my face before I got through the door,
Lel." -d-
Roguish Luck: The Halfling pouted. She wanted to play with Violeta's toy.
She wanted to see... She didn't mind being led away from the Northman,
especially to the bed. There she sat down, looking up towards Violeta with
those bright greens. "Well
Roguish Luck: I don't know how to get in there without notice... But you
might find someone who can at the Wolf's Den." There were always all sorts of
people at the Den. Knights, Adventurers, Fountainhead Psions. All sorts of
different people.
Roguish Luck: "You've been away for awhile, though... Might have a hard time
getting the right people... I could help, if you'd like." What was the devil
offering?[d]
