Tesarik One: So, Maria sent a group of adventurers with a halfling called
Gator Bone, to explore a very strange fungus cave area where Gator's great
great great grandfather had disappeared a long time ago. There are rumors
that despite the
Tesarik One: dwarves thinking that black diamonds were no longer able to be
mined in this area of Madder's swamps, that there were many more left to
find. A group went, did some exploration and found many interesting creatures
and places - and
Tesarik One: nearly died in the process. The last thing that happened is the
group met a werepudding... yes... an arctic werepudding who was once a dwarf
named Robear Flintoc. He urged the group to slay a creature named
Leucopraxus, and
Tesarik One: you all agreed to find him. You all used your rings to teleport
back to Maria, and now the Port Union is able to port you right back to
Robear's area. You all left because this turned out to be far more dangerous
than you had
Tesarik One: imagined and you were given a few weeks to better prepare for
the journey! So, the portal is open, and you are all being sent back!

Tesarik One: The little halfling dressed in troll hide armor and bearing a
gator bone staff with a crystal atop it waited for the group to arrive. She
bounced from foot to foot, anxious to get to adventuring again! Her long
brown curls bounced
SoI Knight: ::And better prepared Ralen was. The young warrior coming back
to the scene, this time not lost in thought with a new determin look upon his
features that showed unyielding confidence in him. Eye's looked about the
area as eye's
Tesarik One: as well, and a broad smile was upon her face. She looked far
cleaner than she had last time, as Maria had let her stay in the inne and
she'd had -gasp- a hot and clean bath more than once!

SwordOfAtrophy: Ellis didn't think he could be better prepared.. for the
most part, he was an arrogant lil bastard at times, so he was waiting for
everyone else, checking over his arms to make sure everything was orderly. He
saw the little
SoI Knight: narrowed.:: I wonder if that training will pay off now....[d]
Raufak Agnarsson: Raufak had tried to determine how to be more prepared,
and..really he couldn't. That was the whole point of his weapon and his set
of skills! It was difficult to be more prepared than to have a weapon that
could do damn near
SwordOfAtrophy: halfling, and snuck on over behind her, snatching her up in
a hug (she was about the only person he could actually do that to). "Well
aren't you just cute as a button!"
Raufak Agnarsson: whatever he needed it to. Potions would've probably been a
good idea, but well...he hadn't got any. That was probably an oversight, but
oversights were to be expected from someone who spent most of his down time
in bars and
Tesarik One: "EEEEE!" snatched up, hug or not, that caught her off guard and
it was only because she felt safe in Maria's inne that Ellis didn't get a
dagger in the eye. She flapped her arms and wiggled her legs until she was
let down, then
Tesarik One: nodded. "Yes, I'm cute. Very cute. Ready to kill mushrooms?"
Raufak Agnarsson: brothels! Anyhow, he stepped on in, having come from his
cottage, all geared up and ready to go, and waved. "Hey there Gator Bone.
Next time put a dagger in his eye, he might learn his lesson."
Mighty Gar thog: ~Arn was ill prepared this eve. He had been rather
distracted and did nothing to prepare for this return. But, he would return.
He did not recall being in much danger himself, last time... but that may be
due to the
Mighty Gar thog: memory loss he had suffered~
RageofNocturne: :: Lorcan had heard of the danger and well ofcoarse the
shalottan dragon wanted in on the action. He arrived clad in his armor and
holding a large sword upon his back and a heavy one upon his hip. He looked
around at the others and
SwordOfAtrophy: Oh fine, he set her down. "Gee what's with the eyes lately..
yesterday someone threatened to 'pluck them out' cuz her skirt was
miniscule.. now knives? I'm starting to think you people don't really like
me." He humphed, though he
Tesarik One: She grinned seeing Raufak and hearing him, and gave Ellis a
playful punch in the hip, since she was barely even 3 feet tall. "Yep,
that'll learn him. Dagger in the eye." She grinned.
RageofNocturne: well atleast he could say he had muscle all around him
right?-D-
SwordOfAtrophy: didn't really mean it. "Yes, let's go kill some mushrooms..
and that sorceror guy thing.. and maybe a pudding if he gets lippy."
Tesarik One: The portal was opened when they all arrived, and Maria gave
them all a firm nod and quick speech for them to watch each other's backs and
come back alive. With treasure, if possible. Then she pointed to the portal,
a blast of cold
Tesarik One: air could be felt coming from it, since it opened up into the
last spot they'd been, Robear's icy room.
Raufak Agnarsson: "Maybe don't be a creeper. Nobody likes surprise hugs from
strangers." Nod. "Unless they've been drinkin maybe. So offer 'em a drink
first." Sage advice from the half-orc! He listened to Maria's speech and
nodded, then it was on
Raufak Agnarsson: through the portal! No sense in not having the big fella
go first, right?
Tesarik One: (This is [HASH]7 on the Map)
Mighty Gar thog: ~Arn would step through next. He liked the cold, being a
Zorcan, so enjoyed the temperature in the pudding dwarves room~
Tesarik One: Gator Bone darted after Raufak through the portal.
SwordOfAtrophy: "Oh come on, who doesn't love surprise hugs.." He wandered
through the portal, continuing his spiel on the other side. "If I offer them
a drink first it's not really a surprise is it?"
SoI Knight: ::Being back into this room caused him to take a second look
around. Trying to get his barings and remeber exactly which way they had came
from orginally....without the portal, the first time. A shake of his head was
given. He'd
Mighty Gar thog: Do we go kill the creature the ghost died from, or explore
more first?
SoI Knight: looked over towards Ellis.:: You could always put something a
little extra in it. Would be a surprise then, perhaps not the type their
looking for...........but a surprise none the less....[d]
SwordOfAtrophy: "Now that's just rude..."
RageofNocturne: :: He stepped through and into te ice room and shivered a
bit as he was more use to temperate climates but he would make due for now.
He looked around then let the others decide what to do as well he would let
the muscle go first s
Raufak Agnarsson: "Well that's the whole point, the surprise part is the
part that'll get you a dagger in the eye." He looked to the persona dvising
drugging ladies and scowled, then looked back to Ellis. "It's rude, yes, and
if you do that and I
RageofNocturne: o to speak and well there was no need in the noble heading
off in a direction to likely die quickly no not at all.-D-
Raufak Agnarsson: hear about it I'll tear your gods damned head off."
Anyway. He looked to Arn then. "I thought we didn't want to mess with the
thing that killed the ghost." He tried to remember now!
OnlineHost: Angel NightBlade has entered the room.
SwordOfAtrophy: "Yes.. clearly I'm running around drugging everyone I see..
it's like you don't know me at all Rauf.. that hurts my feelings.." He looked
around the ice room, to remember just what the crap they'd gotten into last
time. "We didn't
SwordOfAtrophy: even see it as we past by.. so we said we'd get it on the
way out.."
Mighty Gar thog: I thought we wanted to wait on it, until better prepared?
~he looked over at the stairs~
Tesarik One: They could get the thing that killed Thansa the ghost at a
later time. For now, they were going to be pressing forward. Here's a few
reminders.
SoI Knight: I don't think Ellis would do that.......he's too nice of a guy.
::He stated as he shrugged a bit and sligthly gave Ellis a pat on the back.

Tesarik One: Robear has an arrow that can be used to kill Leucopraxus when
you find him, an arrow of Fungi Slaying. There is only one.
Tesarik One: Robear has informed you all that upstairs (Room 8) there is a
vampire alchemist and he is very nasty.... but he's a vampire mushroom folk.
Tesarik One: He also has informed you all that there is a demon called
Darkspore somewhere and he is extremely dangerous as well.
Raufak Agnarsson: "I didn't say you were doin it, I was just advising you
not to. You're a kid, after all. Kids need advice from their elders to grow
up into respectable people." And Raufak, clearly, was the epitome of
respectable! Anyhow, just
Raufak Agnarsson: because he'd gone through the portal first didn't mean he
was leading the group around! They really shouldn't ever trust his sense of
direction anyway.
Tesarik One: Four glowing mushrooms allow you to see the layout of this
room. The walls are smooth and wet, as dripping water and ice covers every
surface. The room has a chill breeze that blows tiny snowflakes
Tesarik One: about, but the source of these flakes is from high above, the
ceiling concealed by shadows. The interior floor is thick with ice, and large
icicles dangle from the ceiling. There are objects frozen
Tesarik One: within some of the icicles. Ice juts from walls at horizontal
angles, acting like shelves or steps to climb upward and around the room.
There are two jelly membranes in far wall, one leads to another
Tesarik One: area, one leads to stairs going upwards.
Tesarik One: Robear is in his weird ooze form, and as Raufak steps through
the portal he begins to ooze over towards him. He soon shifts into his
dwarven form, and claps his hand, "Ahh you returned, I am very happy!"
Tesarik One: hands*
SwordOfAtrophy: "Oh well, since you put it that way, I'll put my plans to
drug a harem of women on hold then." Ahhh, the pudding dwarf was back. "Yea,
we're back.. sorry for the delay. We can get to business now.."
Tesarik One: "Robear Flintoc!" Gator Bone darts over towards the
werepudding, but stops short of giving him a hug when he shifts. "Yeah,
course we did! We said we would!"
Tesarik One: He began to motion with an arrow in his hand, "Good, I haven't
seen Leucopraxus for a long while but he's sure to be somewhere. Now, who of
you can shoot an arrow?" He tapped the shaft in his hand as he looked around.
Raufak Agnarsson: "Certainly not me. I'd have better luck stabbing the fella
with it." He looked to the others.
Mighty Gar thog: If I recall, you were unaware where the one you want dead
is at. We did not see him from where we came, so might want to explore the
vampire chambers, or search else where. ~if no one else took the arrow, he
would~
SwordOfAtrophy: "Ummm.. I have a bow.. I'm not all that spiffy at using
it.."
Mighty Gar thog: I am known as Arn the archer. ~he gave the dwarf a smile~
RageofNocturne: :: He looked at the arrow and lifted a brow-- Not me at all
sorry. Im good at shouting though. --he chuckled regarding his dragon
breath-D-
Raufak Agnarsson: "Well if we've only got the one arrow, I'd imagine we want
someone who IS all that spiffy. You're an archer, aren't you?" Said to the
Zorcan. "Yeah, see?"
Tesarik One: The arrow was handed to Arn the Archer. "Alright."
Tesarik One: "Bring me back proof that Leucopraxus is dead and I will reward
you. If you wish to see the vampire first, go through that jelly door and
take the stairs upwards."
Mighty Gar thog: ~He took the arrow, placing it in a side section of his
quiver~
Raufak Agnarsson: "Just remember, if you miss that shot, you're condemning
the entire world to be overrun by a bunch of gods damned mushrooms, and your
name will go down in history as the guy responsible." That oughtta take the
pressure off. He
Raufak Agnarsson: looked back to the oozy fella and nodded.
SwordOfAtrophy: "I hit what I aim at.. unless there's people around.. I
don't have that silly training that lets me not kill you instead." But Arn
took it, so that doesn't matter. "Well, rather than run after the mushroom
lord, maybe we pay a visit
SwordOfAtrophy: the guy upstairs."
Tesarik One: Through the jelly membrane, there are steps that lead upwards
to (Room 8).
Raufak Agnarsson: "Fair enough." Well he'd start heading to the jelly
membrane that had the stairs behind it! Going upstairs seemed like as good a
plan as any.
Mighty Gar thog: He may know where Leucopraxas is, so talk first.
RageofNocturne: :: He nodded a bit-- If it comes to Diplomacy...i be your
lad boy-os. --he said and smiled-- Keep me alive and i am sure i can get
anyone to listen to some reason.-D-
Mighty Gar thog: ~Arn followed after the half orc then, thinking Ellis and
Ralen should be in the front, but he could detect traps at will~
Tesarik One: She headed towards the jelly door, pushing her way through it
since it 'healed' after being opened each time and started up the stairs
behind Raufak. Raufak would get a wee little smack to his ass.
SwordOfAtrophy: "...Ha... you.. give it your best shot slugger.." Ellis
followed along. He'd let the other guy try, after all, what could happen.
Tesarik One: Taking the icy steps upwards, the room ([HASH]8) brightens slightly
as you near the opening, as if the building realizes you have a need to see.
At the top of the steps, you must push through another
Tesarik One: jelly membrane to enter the room. At the center of the room is
a 12 foot toadstool rooted in the fertile soil beneath it. Against the far
wall you can see beakers and bottles covering the surface of a
Tesarik One: large, thick table that projects from the building. A hanging
mist begins to swirl slightly. There is another jelly membrane door at the
back of the laboratory.
Raufak Agnarsson: "Fairly certain half this damn group is what we'll need
for diplomatic purposes." He was a bard, after all! He jumped a bit at the
smack.
Raufak Agnarsson: Oh good, a laboratory! He'd have to tell Doriran about
this place next time he saw him. He eyed the big ol toadstool, then moved in
further and stepped around it to get a look at the beakers and bottles.
SoI Knight: ::He'd follow the group and soon came to see the toad stool just
sitting there. :: Does anyone else have a slight tingle that something fun is
aboult to happen? [d]
Tesarik One: As soon as she stepped into the room, she stopped and her eyes
widened, "Hey!" (Detect Spirits) "There's something in here we can't see..."
RageofNocturne: :: He shrugged-- Hey im just saying i am a noble Boy-o. --he
sad to the bard and then made his way after them all his arms at his sides as
he stepped along-D-
Raufak Agnarsson: "Well, that's good." Invisible things, bah. He looked to
the noble and blinked. "In my experience that'd make it less likely anyone
actually wants to talk to ya."
Tesarik One: The mist swirls a bit more and begins to coalesce together.
Mighty Gar thog: ~Arn had his bow in hand, looking around, glances at the
alchemy things often~
SwordOfAtrophy: "Oh come now Raufak, not everyone hates the nobility... just
most people.." Oh good, the mist gathers.. Kain, Cecil, attack! Oh, wrong
game. Ellis just waited. He had a feeling this was the elusive vampire.
RageofNocturne: :: He chuckled-- At times boy-o. But not all the time. --he
said and watched the mist swirling.-D-
SoI Knight: ::Sorta wishes he had the soul eatter ability. ;.;.:
Tesarik One: Well, they were right because the mist began to pull together
and form ... a humanoid (sorta) shaped mushroom. A mushroom folk, or myconid!
But, this poor gentle mushroom folk had been tainted by
Raufak Agnarsson: "Sure, not everyone does. I've never met a self-hating
noble, now that you mention it." He eyed the coalescing mist turning into a
mushroom fella, and moved his hand up to the hilt of his chopper blade, just
in case.
Tesarik One: Leucopraxus and turned into a vampire, no longer the gentle and
peaceful creature it once was.

Tesarik One: As Ju'rran Tji forms, he steps in close and breathes out a
cloud of spores towards the group. (Domination Spores)

Raufak Agnarsson: "I'm a bard, not a musician." He looked at the mushroom
fella. "Hi there." He just tried common! And then it went ahead and burst
into spores.

least tried to keep the creatures attention while everyone sorted themselves

eye's a bit, but couldn't help but feel that something was attempting to pull

vampire. For now, Arn and Lorcan do nothing but stand there staring at the
vampire mushroom.
Tesarik One: What language is Ralen speaking?
SwordOfAtrophy: "Not sure he understands you, or any of us really..." He
certainly wasn't one of those fancy any language speaking guys.
Raufak Agnarsson: "Shit. Knew I should've learned fungin. Thirty fucking
languages and I don't know the one we need right now." At least he assumed
that's what a mushroom fella would speak!

Mighty Gar thog: ~he'd nod, smiling, thinking that all makes sense. His mind
was racing. If they fried the mushroom man and took a bite, would it be
hallucinogenic? Why was it not a Mushroom woman? and so on~
Raufak Agnarsson: "Well he did throw spores at us, should I try and smack
him?"
SoI Knight: He doesn't look nice....and doesn't seem to be backing
down....so yes.
SwordOfAtrophy: "He clearly wants you to be his friend.. the 'without your
permission' kind. So, yes."
Tesarik One: "We do not have to fight you!" yelled Gator Bone, but combat
had already ensued. She spoke Fungin, of course she did.
Raufak Agnarsson: "Alright." Well out came the chopper blade, and
well...Gator Bone was trying to speak to it! So he held off for now. (Delay)
Tesarik One: Ellis-
SwordOfAtrophy: "Ah hell.." Well if she could talk to it, he wouldn't murder
it just yet. He'd just position himself close to her for her protection.
(Pass)
Tesarik One: Black Slime-
Raufak Agnarsson: "Gonna have to teach me to speak that. Well ...maybe. My
brain might be full of primordial at the moment." Ie. he needed another int
point to be taught another language! Or he'd just have to rank up.
Tesarik One: Hiding high above them on the ceiling was an undead black
slime, one of the vampire mushroom's victims. As they gather, and Gator
attempts to parlay with Ju'rran, the black slime drops from the ceiling onto
Ellis with a slam as well
RageofNocturne: :: He growled at the spores then blinked and stood in place

Tesarik One: Seeing that there were folks that needed healing, she flipped
off of Raufak's back and began to dart around, sending healing energy into
her comrade's bodies. (Healing Run - can heal up to 3 people then make an

the slime and began to chant again as she used another spell that would form

Raufak Agnarsson: Well that worked out better than he'd hoped. As he moved
out of the way, he drew his chopper blade back so he'd gave a good wind-up,
then brought it around in a good sweeping arc, slightly downward so he would
hopefully chop right
Raufak Agnarsson: through the mushroom fella and finish off by destroying

hefted the falchion once more and checked to see if there was much mushroom
bits or slime stuck to it.

Tesarik One: So they are in a laboratory though it's pretty messed up by now
from all the fighting. There are potions and powders, edible fungi and
alchemical stuff all over the place. Though a search reveals only one book in
the lab, and Gator
Raufak Agnarsson: He claned off his weapon carefully, then slung it onto his
back once more, assuming was no longer in the way! Or he could just do it
more carefully if she was still there.
Tesarik One: reads the title "Manual of Fungi Golems". There is also a very
long box shoved up under a desk, that when opened reveals a two-handed sword.
Tesarik One: The label on the box in bronze is also in Fungi and says "Spore
Slasher". Gator also can read this. It is a magical blade.
Tesarik One: There is also a jelly door at the back!
RageofNocturne: :: He looked to the woman and nodded-- Apologies lass. --he
said and shifted back-- Didnt mean t be shoutin at ye that much. -he said and
looked at the long box-- What be in thar?-D-
Tesarik One: "Some sort of sword called Spore Slasher." She put the box on
top of a table, and then gathered up some potions and things into her pack.
Tesarik One: Might be useful!
SwordOfAtrophy: Meh, sword.. too big... didn't care. He went over to the
jelly door, to see if he could see through it at what lay beyond.
SoI Knight: ::Looking at the door at the back. Ralen went over towards it to
invesitagte this....[Jelly door].::
Mighty Gar thog: ~~he took a few vials and filled them with mushroom man
parts, just to keep for later, then dropped them in his pack of holding~
Raufak Agnarsson: He hand-waved off the apology directed at him. Then looked
at Lorcan. "What, no apology for shoutin at me too?" Grunt. "Well, nobles
will be nobles." He looked at the big ol sword, then opened up the box to
have a look at it and see
Tesarik One: Pushing through the jelly door you find what looks to be a
sunken room that contains a jail or sorts. Criss crossing alcoves in a
diagonal pattern are hard fungal stripes that act as prison bars. Of the
seven jail cells, only three
Raufak Agnarsson: if it seemed like it might be up his alley.
RageofNocturne: :: Indeed it might be. --he said and nodded-- I can be
carryin it if ye like lass. --he said to her then looked to Ralen-- Ye kept
getting in the way so the shouts at you are your own doin.-D-
Mighty Gar thog: No one can use that sword? ~he'd take it for the locker

Tesarik One: of them are occupied. One contains a handsome gray haired man,
and the other two contain mushroom folk. A white jelly oozes from the cells,
one of the mushroom folk is eating the ooze as you peek in.
Raufak Agnarsson: He'd have to get that spear too, for that matter. He was
looking at the damned sword! The people that were attacking them instead of
helping better damn well not be taking it out from under him.
Tesarik One: "We should take the sword with us and find out what it does,
something named Spore Slasher could come in handy on our journey"
RageofNocturne: :: Well he wasnt he just wanted to take a look at it
afterall he had the Siphon Blade upon his back-D-
SwordOfAtrophy: Ellis looked over the grey haired man. He'd need the
halfling to talk to the others. "Heya! How's it going?
Raufak Agnarsson: "Since you're all either short or have spindly arms, I'll
take it." He had the best chance of using it properly, after all! He took it
out of the box, keeping it in hand for now, until he could get himself
another sheath for it. The
Tesarik One: We will end it here and begin next time with the jail cell
room!

using it.
