Tesarik One: Any mistakes?

Tesarik One: Fixed.
Tesarik One: Ok! Just a quick reminder of our task. A sandstorm in Thanes
has revealed the entrance to a tomb that hasn't been touched for a very long
time, but it was located on an island in the middle of Skysea, a sheet of
glass. We have been
Tesarik One: sent on an exploratory mission in an attempt to be the first
ones in the tomb.
Tesarik One: Insignias on the portal lead scholars to believe that the tomb
is none other than that of Akhataten, fabled desert pharaoh of yesteryear,
whose resting place has been a perfect secret these last thousand years.
Tesarik One: Part 1 - We arrived and camped on the edge of Skysea and fought
some raiders.
Tesarik One: Part 2 - We cross Skysea, and get hit by a searing trap on the
door, but make it in and explore a good half of the tomb finding some
treasure, some monsters and some very nasty undead scarab swarms.
Tesarik One: We also find something that reads: "A passage to Lord Akhataten
is achieved only through offering oneself as a sacrifice to the sacred
scarabs."

Tesarik One: Part 3 - we have explored another portion of the tomb, finding
immense treasure in the room with the forlorn husks. A secret door is found
through a black onyx wall where a fountain of scarabs rises and falls. Ralen
and Gabriel
Tesarik One: sacrifice themselves to the fountain and disappear completely!
Gar and Akaash find a secret room and a relic is recovered, which Akaash
quickly leaves to return to Maria.
Tesarik One: So, you all have found your way into [HASH]9 on the map and we will
start from there!

Aphotic Frenzy: Ella had apaprently missed some of the tomb exploration, but
she was still there. She needed to take her time away to make sure her Evil
Tendency waded before she was able to return with the group. A deep inhale
and exhale and she
Tesarik One: [HASH]9 - Within this black room a black fountain of carapaces
surges upwards, only to fall back into a bowl of scrabbling scarab beetles
numbering in the thousands. Several large blocks of onyx are scattered
randomly around the chamber.
Tesarik One: The blue-black beetles, larger than normal scarabs, do not
attempt to leave the fountain's bowl.
Adal Ag Hamid: Adal was a bit late to the party! That's what came of getting
there on foot rather than taking the majority of the trip through a portal.
Or perhaps he'd taken one of those fancy skiffs. At any rate, he arrived, not
at all looking
Aphotic Frenzy: found her way back to the group. Casting [Spirit of the
Mountain +2 STR to Ella]. She looked around a bit. -d-
Tesarik One: Noted.
SwordOfAtrophy: Ellis was waiting by the scarab fountain, so that those who
didn't know where they went, namely Gar and Captain I'm not here anymore,
would know how to catch up, as well as the rest of the party.
RageofNocturne: :: In room 10 he looked around and brought out his guns and
aimed around slowly as he took a single step away from the fountain and
looked to Ralen-- You alright? --he asked and looked ahead-D-
Adal Ag Hamid: like someone who'd gone trekking through the desert for
ages...but then again the only parts of him visible, like usual, were his
eyes, the rest of himself all covered up in his indigo veil, turban and
robes. Eyes were still gold,
Tesarik One: As far as I remember, only Gabriel and Ralen stepped into the
fountain.
Tesarik One: But as Ralen isn't here, it's just Gabriel!
Tesarik Five: Warren, having helped get the sword even though he didn't know
that, slipped into the fountian room behind the others with a slight tilt of
his head. Seeing the onyz he tilted his head and flew down to one of the
blocks to land on
SwordOfAtrophy: He was also singing a song, about a lady and her three...
'friends', just so anyone out of eyesight could hear him. He was ready for
combat though. (CM: Rondo of Blood, +12 HP) just in case any monsters came
calling.
Adal Ag Hamid: since they really just plain weren't going back to dark brown
ever again, as far as he knew! Anyhow. It probably wasn't too hard to figure
out where everyone had gone, and he had his moonglobe flashlight on and at
his shoulder to
Aphotic Frenzy: Ella looked to Ellis, "Aww, you waited for me, so kind." She
grinned towards him. Looking amongst the group. "What did I miss?" She asked
curiously. -d-
Adal Ag Hamid: announce his presence to the others.
Tales0fBeauty: Oh and wouldnt know the ever wandering moon elf ALA was one
to find her way to where the rest of the group was! Seeing ellis there put a
smile on her face as she moved in closer to the group to join them in the
room they were all in
Tales0fBeauty: .
Tesarik One: Noted.
Tesarik Five: it. "Big pretty stone things." Walking in a small cirlce on
the block he'd landed on he reached down to poke it a few times before
beaming up a smile to some of the others. "So, where do we go now?" He
assumed that was it, but some
Tesarik Five: people were missing. Hmm. Maybe there was more? Of course he
kept an eye on the fountain, not liking those bugs one bit, sense they ate
flesh and stuffs.
SwordOfAtrophy: "Well, your friends jumped into the fountain and got eaten,
so here was that. Ready to go after them?" He motioned to the pool of bugs,
throwing a wink at Ala as well. "Which of you ladies wants to go first?"
Tesarik One: Talasyn stood in the room that had been found through the
secret door, staring at the fountain, and thinking of the words that they'd
found. It seemed that Gabriel had already stepped into it but where had he
gone? Since he did not
Adal Ag Hamid: Well while they figured out who was going first, he'd just
hop right into the fountain as if he knew exactly what he was doing! May as
well set a good example.
Tesarik One: return she wondered if he truly just got eaten completely by
the flesh eating scarabs.
Mighty Gar thog: ~GarThog used his magic cloak, to try and read the surface
thoughts of Gabriel, to know that he was still alive~
Tesarik Five: Gasp! "They went into the bugs? Why'd they do something silly
like that?!?" Obviously he didn't understand it was supposed to be that way,
And then someone else was going into it. Gasp again!
Tesarik One: It would not work while in this onyx room. It was blocking
magic. You could not teleport or anything like that.
Tesarik One: As Adal stepped into the fountain the scarabs surged over him
covering him from view and it truly looked as if they ate him completely. For
nothing was left.
Tales0fBeauty: She would look to ellis and smiled softly "I can go in
first..."
Mighty Gar thog: ~The dragon would step out, trying again, since he could
not sense any thoughts, not even Ellis'd, and tried again!~
Adal Ag Hamid: Well, out of the fountain and into the..fountain. In another
room though, it seemed. He nodded to Gabriel, assuming he was still about,
and then looked around the new room a bit.
Aphotic Frenzy: Ella cast [Spell Matrix] as she was not liking the scarabs.
No, no scarbs. She was already devoured by them damnit! "I don't like
Scarabs." She stated sternly. -d-

Aphotic Frenzy: [ 2 DMG - Unhealable until Ella uses both Matrix Spells ]

Tesarik One: Well he's not in the onyx room right now so anyone in the onyx
room have True Seeing?
SwordOfAtrophy: "It's most likely the way forward, since we're supposed to
'sacrifice' ourselves. Here, I'll prove it." He pat Ala on her cheek, smiling
at her. "No need doll. I got this.." And ..he walked into the scarabs.
Tesarik One: Devoured! Appears in the fountain in Room 10.
Aphotic Frenzy: Someone should push Ella in. Because... She didn't wanna go.

Tesarik One: Once Ellis went in, Tally stepped forward as well and stepped
into the consuming fountain.
Tales0fBeauty: She would blush as she got patted on the check by ellis and
then gasped as she watched him do that, she would look at the fountian and
then with a fearless determination on her face stepped in as well.
Adal Ag Hamid: He looked over to the exit fountain to see some other people
coming through. If he felt like speaking, he'd ask what was taking them all
so long. Instead he'd commonsign it and see if anyone understood!
Tesarik Five: And another went in! Well, looks like either the whole group
would be dead from the bugs, or they were going to be going the right way.
Giving a huff he poked at the onyx he was standing on again to try and shrink
down the block
Tesarik One: Gar you cannot sense anyone who has been transported by the
fountain as the black onyx around both areas stops magic from scrying, etc.
Aphotic Frenzy: "You guys are fucking nuts." She hissed and looked around.
Checking through the insignia ~Are you guys alive? What??? happpened?~ She
just stood there, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. This
sucked. -d-
Tesarik One: The insignia does not work either. Only those in the room with
Ella hear her.
Tesarik Five: small enough to fit in his pouch (Race ability, not sure if
it's considered magic or not....And, wouldn't even work if they were to big
in the first place. Or...If their stuck or something. ANYWHO) and up he went
flying, with or
Adal Ag Hamid: Or more to the point, he'd sign "Do they all really think
that those beetles would consume someone even down to the bones in such a
short period of time?" because well..it was a good question. And perhaps
they'd all discussed this
Tesarik One: She poofed into the room just in time to see Adal commonsign,
and she commonsigned back to him as well as spoke, "They are contemplating
sacrificing themselves, I think."
Adal Ag Hamid: before he got there, ha!
Adal Ag Hamid: down to and including*
SwordOfAtrophy: Ellis shrugged. He didn't know sign language, but he
shrugged in an ambiguous way where it seemed like he answered anyway.
RageofNocturne: brb)
Adal Ag Hamid: He nodded a little at that reply, then patted one side of his
head and signed. "My ears work just fine, if you prefer to speak."
Tesarik One: She stepped back into the fountain to see if she would return
to the other room, and those in the room 9 would find that Tally appeared
covered in scarabs, which flowed off her. "It's just magic teleportation,"
she said to them.
Mighty Gar thog: ~GarThog looked in at Ella, unable to sense her thoughts,
he spoke~ Da onyx blocks da magic, no telepathy...
Tesarik Five: without the pretty black shiney type stone to get into the
portal and closed his eyes tightly, hands holding his bits for protection,
not like it'd help, what with being as big as the scarabs anyway.
Tesarik One: She motioned to Ella, "It doesn't even hurt. Follow me." Then
she stepped back in and got "eaten" and appeared in Room 10!
Aphotic Frenzy: "I don't have Da Magic. I have Spellborn magic." She stated
softly. Looking at the man. Then Tala came back! Oh! She raised a brow and
then sighed and moved in after her. -d-
Mighty Gar thog: Come. ~he said to Ella, and stepped on in~
Tales0fBeauty: She would have arrived in the same room as ellis and gave him
a smile as she stepped out of the fountian and gave the room a look around.
Adal Ag Hamid: "Do we have a healer here?" He didn't know most of these
people, so he signed the question, since at least one person understood it.
Tesarik One: So everyone's in Room 10!
SwordOfAtrophy: "Your sign buddy is best healer."
Tesarik One: Talasyn bowed to Adal, though her veil covered her face so he
wouldn't see the smile so much, "Yes, I am a dedicated healer."
Aphotic Frenzy: Ella looked to Adal. Seeing him sign about a healer. She
pointed to Talasyn. -d-
Tales0fBeauty: "I can heal some..."
Mighty Gar thog: GarThog is a healer...
Tesarik One: Four decorated pillars support the 20 foot high ceiling. A
fountain of scarabs scrabbles along the east wall that you've all just
stepped out of. Two bronze doors close access to a hallway to the west. The
scarab fountain in this
Tesarik One: chamber is identical to that in [HASH]9, and stepping into it from
this side transports the individual back to the fountain in [HASH]9.
Adal Ag Hamid: He nodded, then held up a finger for them to wait a moment
before running off and rifled through his pack, swapping out the Tears of
Shitha pendant around his neck for the Gravewatch Pendant, which got him
glowing faintly with some
Adal Ag Hamid: blue light, though with his blue robes it wouldn't be quite
as noticable as it otherwise might! (back down to 22 healing points)
Tesarik One: Noted.
Tesarik One: Ellis 0/63 [24] || Ella 0/55 [16] || Warren 0/44 [25] || Tally

Adal Ag Hamid: (Gravewatch = -1 penalty on strike rolls that undead make
against him, or -2 if they're incorporeal, just for the log's sake)
Tesarik One: The bronze doors are locked.
SwordOfAtrophy: Well, with Akaash having done what he came for and left,
they lost the cheaty tricks, so he wandered slowly across the room, just in
case something blew up in his face.
Adal Ag Hamid: (brb)
Tesarik Five: After a bit of looking around at the others he huffed and
sighed. He wasn't eaten, so that was a plus. Though seeing this room being
mostly the same as the one they just came from, well no need in waiting
around. Right? Fluttering
Tales0fBeauty: She would follow ellis sticking close to his side seemed like
a good idea to her. She gave the others she knew there a friendly smile as
well after all she was Mr. Nice Guy.
Tesarik Five: over closer to the doors he waited, tapping his foot in mid
air for someone to open up the door and let them continue as it were.
RageofNocturne: :: He looked to the others-- Nice of you all to join us.
--he said and looked back to the bronze doors an lifted a brow to them and
tilted his head he he searched through his mind for anything that might be
useful right now-D-
Tesarik One: It was certainly not going to be Tally trying to pick a lock,
she stayed at the back of the group, using her Phylactery to make sure
everyone was as well as they could be and noting those that could not be
healed by positive energy.
Tesarik One: A key would be useful.
SwordOfAtrophy: Provided he made it across the room without stepping on
something, he'd reach the doors, and find them.. locked.. "Warren, your pants
are on fire.." he said as he rummaged for his little makeshift picks.
(Lockpicking?)
Tesarik One: Barring that, someone's gotta pick the lock!
Tesarik One: Go for it.
OnlineHost: Randomcreature8 has entered the room.
Mighty Gar thog: Any one have a spell to unlock da door? ~he just had to
ask, looking at each of them~

Tesarik One: Click. No traps, aren't you happy? The big bronze doors were
now unlocked.
SwordOfAtrophy: Well if there was a trap, there was nobody who would know!
"Well, I didn't die.. that's a plus.." He looked around. "I'll be the meat
shield unless someone else wants to."
Mighty Gar thog: ~He headed over towards Ellis~ Dat was good... wan to lead
us inwards?
Tesarik One: The doors open in a small antechamber, with another set of
bronze doors exactly like the first, except they are NOT locked.
Tales0fBeauty: Those long pointed elven ears of hers would flicker on either
side of her head as she heard the familar click of the lock unlocking and
smiled to ellis "Always nice when that happens!" she smirked to him and she
would follow ellis.
Adal Ag Hamid: (My mistake, I forgot Adal doesn't have the gravewatch
pendant anymore, but he has a fizzwinken item that has the same effect so
he's swapping for that)
Tesarik One: Ok
RageofNocturne: :: He stepped over to the door and looked through to the
anti chamber then looked around as he made his way within and looked up to
the cieling expecing something to be there-D-
Adal Ag Hamid: (Also affects demons if that comes up with the -1)
Adal Ag Hamid: So anyhow, yeah, demon tongue around the neck, tucked under
his clothes since it was still unsightly even if it meant there was one less
tongued demon walking the world. He watched the others, then headed on
through the door, since
Tesarik One: The next set of doors open into [HASH]5 which is, as you all
probably remember, just a room full of sand across the floor. You find yet
another set of bronze doors.... into another antechamber... and yet another
set of bronze doors! The
Adal Ag Hamid: he wouldn't be much good if he was stuck at the back and they
got attacked.
Tesarik One: last set opens into [HASH]11 on your map!
SwordOfAtrophy: "Yea, one of these days something's going to ruin my money
maker." He made a silly face at Ala, and Gabriel just strode on in. He didn't
blow up either, so he'd follow in, making sure Ala and Tally were close by,
because protection!
Aphotic Frenzy: Ella was still in her gargoylian demon form after all.
Hopefully that didn't bother Adal. (Bestial Fury still active - Or
activated). She watched the group now. She just gave Adal a look when he
swapped his necklaces. Yep, just
Tesarik One: As there is nothing of note in any of those rooms I'm gonna
proceed to a description of 11 for when you all get there.
Tesarik Five: Witht he doors open in he went. Flying up higher than normal
to keep from being snatched up by any grubby undead nasty hands. As long as
doors were open though he was flying right through them. Looking around here
and there, just to
Aphotic Frenzy: stared at him a moment. Her wings flapped in small
irritation before they closed and clasped around her shoulders like a cloak.

RageofNocturne: :: He continued to move along until he was at the doors
leading to room 11 and looked around-D-
Tesarik One: [HASH]11 - Two great sarcophagi lie near the western wall of this
wide, pillar supported chamber. As if guarding the tomb, a mummified arm and
hand stands rigidly upright at the foot of the sarcophagi. The hand clutches
an onyx orb, much
Tesarik Five: see if he saw anything interesting that caught his eye. Nope,
nothing really. Maybe they already got all the pretty shiney things from this
place? Who knows. Welp, he'd just wait for the doors to the last room, not
that he knew that
Mighty Gar thog: ~GarThog would take up the rear, ready to fly, if need be~
Tesarik Five: to be opened.
Tesarik One: like a gem set as a headpiece for a gruesom staff.
Tales0fBeauty: She would smirk to him again at his comment and blushed some
and then followed him into room 11 with the others. She would look around
the room and saw the onyx orb in the hand "I wonder what happens if you touch
it..."
Tesarik One: She moved along with the group, lifting her long skirts as they
moved across the sandy area and then into the last antechamber. It was as if
something was expecting them, wasn't it? Hmm. She stayed near Ellis, because
yep,
Adal Ag Hamid: Of course it bothered him, but that didn't mean he was going
to be assaulting her. The desert fella practically radiated holy energy at
this point in his life, so it shouldn't be much surprise if they didn't get
along well, however.
Tesarik One: protection!
RageofNocturne: :: He tilted his head and lifted a brow-- Interesting...--he
said then put a gun away and pulled out his Nightcaller and set it between
his lips and blew on it indeed trying to animate one of the mummies as his
faithful servant!-D-
Adal Ag Hamid: Anyhow, didn't seem there was much of anything here, so he'd
keep on heading towards room 11, though he'd let the people better at it deal
with the door before heading in and having a look around there.
Aphotic Frenzy: Moving with the group she stood up in front with Ellis.
Staying beside the 'little man' as she called him. After all she was Six foot
tall in this form. Seeing Tala right there with them she smirked a bit. The
Holy energy would
Aphotic Frenzy: indeed keep Ella away from Adal. A nice distance too. -d-
Tesarik One: There was only one mummy in this room, and it was far too
powerful to be put under his spell with a trinket. Nothing happened.
Tesarik One: Though......
Tales0fBeauty: dun dun dun
Mighty Gar thog: ~garThog just had to! That hand as a staff was so unusual.
He ust walked over and picked it up~
SwordOfAtrophy: Ellis walked, hands behind his head like he hadn't a care in
the world as they moved until they made it to the end. "I'm... not gonna run
up and just grab it."
Adal Ag Hamid: He took a knee and said a prayer in his head before he took
too much of a look around, however! This was a tomb of his people, after all!
No sense in not being respectful.
Tesarik One: It was stuck in the floor in a socket.
Aphotic Frenzy: "That's alright. We have a dragon in our mydst." She pointed
to GarThog." -d-
OnlineHost: dusty starburst has entered the room.
Tales0fBeauty: She would look to ellis then watched as gar tried to pick it
up and shook her head and whispered something in ellis' ear.
Tesarik One: So as that whistle was blown, he might think it was working
because..... the top of one of the sarcophagi begins to move, a gloved hand
appears, pushing it aside enough for the creature within to rise
Mighty Gar thog: ~He frowned~ It no comes free... ~he tried turning it then,
to see if it moved any ways~

As you all enter this pillared room wtih two sarcophagi in it, one lid shoves
aside and a mummy dressed in half plate, and regal jewelry rises up out of
the coffin.
