Opportunities
The Shinies Cartel was about half a cycle (days would be too broad considering their locale) outside of Oirnadro, the major Underdark hub beneath Ballari Ridgebacks. Their destination was a medium sized settlement north of the city that had rapidly begun growing a few months back due to the finding of a vast ore deposit. It was the new mecca for Underdark merchants and laborers so of course Jyx had informed Pyx it was time to move along and see what opportunities existed for... acquisition. Along the way the small band came upon a battle between a group of Dwarves and a group of Tren. Being the considered Underdark citizens they were, the members of the Shinies Cartel immediately came to the rescue... of the Dwarf wagons that the Tren were trying to capture. Those poor, poor wagons. In the end, however, they were saved by the Shinies Cartel!
Watch Out for That... Never Mind
The antics of Boomsworth & Kivvy resulted in some fun times for our Underdark friends by way of a quake, partial cave in, Rosepetal and the Rosebuds! After Boomsworth's beam poked through a vast expanse ahead of their location the ground beneath them gave way to reveal a cavern filled with strange mushroom like plants. An unnatural tunnel system awaited the Cartel members while Jyx and his servants continued on (they were luckily the only ones not to fall in!) to the settlement. As he moved on in rather comfortable conditions the rest of the group found some treasure, got lost once or twice and then came across a rather interesting creature, Rosepetal, that can only be described as a spider's body and legs, with the head and back armor of a centipede and the face of a leach ringed with teeth... oh yes and she had eyes. Had, as in she is now no longer of the material plane. Her babies, the Rosebuds, however are! Some are even with the cartel members now! That is because while it was a few hours after Jyx arrived, the others did make it out relatively unscathed and one member more! The little group was growing! How cute!
