Cordelia had been dealing with the opening of The Bitter End in Sarkotos. It
was now much bigger, so much so, it even had its own ballroom.

client base. Men came from all over Drowsing to sample the delights the
Blade had to offer. Each member of The Syndicate, from the highest

as swiftly as I was able." His brows furrowed as she just kept on pacing,

fell on Vixen, "lose a whore?" A guess.

ardent idolatry: The note itself read like a scrawl, and the only words that
were eligible were the name, the place they were expected to meet the would
be captors, and the price they were expecting for her release.
Georg Pryme: Well, if Bianca didn't take the note, Georg certainly did,
opening it up and examining its contents. Smiles were held as they were
filled in on the details of what had happened, a grim set to his jaw as he

Iady kissekatt: There was no need for full titles and such, she nodded to
the man upon being introduced. Then she read over the note, and then passed
it over to Georg if he wished to take a look.
Georg Pryme: long ago did you learn of this?" It took a moment to register
everyone else, going about making short greetings as he took in the data of
the note. A grin given to the three of them, though his gaze lingered on
Cordy as she
Georg Pryme: mentioned the connection with both Missy and Sissy.
ardent idolatry: " As soon as I found it, I called for you. I stayed in
Sarkotos longer than I had planned. " So basically, she had no idea how long
Missy had been gone, or how long Sissy had been dead.
edict unwritten: "Just the way your pacing." He had no idea if he was right
until she let him know, when she said Missy had gone missing it seemed all to
personal. He couldn't blame her for any action she might take on him, seemed
all to convenient
Georg Pryme: "We'll get her back, and there will be a reckoning." He paused
a moment and looked between the lot of them, nodding as he continued. "How
do you want to handle it? Pay what they ask? Or have the price be in their
blood?" There
Georg Pryme: were definitely problems with the latter, Missy's safety the
foremost matter.
edict unwritten: though, in Quinn's eyes he seemed as concerned as Vixen
did, damn, he caught feelings for a whore. He reached out for the note, near
taking it if he had too. He examined the ink, the paper, the smell, anything
that would give him a
Iady kissekatt: She leaned against her staff for the moment lightly, taking
it all in, listening for the information needed to see if she could even be
of assistance. Perhaps she'd just have a cup of tea if it turned out she was
not needed.
Georg Pryme: As Quinn reached for the note, he passed it without hesitation.
It was clear where Georg's strengths lay in such matters. There was a subtle
cunning to him, but the captors had the upper hand currently.
edict unwritten: clue of who they might be up against, words were simple,
and anyone could meet up anywhere. When he seemed to come of his own personal
high of awareness he looked to Lady Kissekatt, "sorry, pleasure to meet you,"
he gave her a nod.
ardent idolatry: " Oh, I want them all dead. " There was no question about
that, it was a matter of pride. " No one steals from me. " She didn't care
who they were, or why they'd done it, either. " I want them to suffer. "
Which was where Bianca
ardent idolatry: would be useful, no doubt. [ Does anyone have Knowledge:

Iady kissekatt: (I have Local)
ardent idolatry: [ Okay! Go for it. ]
Georg Pryme: He just gave a reassuring pat to the hilt of his blade, looking
over Bianca's way as talk of suffering came up. "Good to see you out and

and she smiled a little bit as she said that. Then Georg spoke to her and she
turned and gave him a slight smile as well, "Yes it has been, thank you."
ardent idolatry: " Who knows Rumeria? Does anyone know where.. " She took
the note back eventually, and squinted before saying: " Deeply Crossing is? "
Cordelia actively avoided crossing the border unless she had to.
ardent idolatry: " Has anyone heard anything about this through their
connections? "
Iady kissekatt: The Kissekatt barony was on the border of Rumeria, and so it
wasn't far fetched she would know of some gossip, since she wasn't far from
Drowsing. "Our sources have told us that Rumerian Raiders have been crossing

which crossing sat where. "I'd probably know it on sight, but that's the
best I have to
edict unwritten: continue. "Perhaps they are trying to get money out of you
Vixen, maybe for better supplies?"
Georg Pryme: offer, unfortunately." He paused as he listened to the
information Quinn and Bianca had, storing it away. "If it's nothing but a
group of bandits . . . that takes some moxie to strike at an establishment."
He'd pat his own chest
Iady kissekatt: "Deeply Crossing is northwest of Duncaster, on the top of
Lake Azura. It isn't very far, as the raven flies." She quieted again, as
they spoke.
Georg Pryme: gently, grateful he'd chosen to travel light today. Spidersilk
worn, but hidden beneath his clothing, he'd have some protection when it came
time to fight.
ardent idolatry: Cordelia gave Quinn a no shit eyebrow arch, but all she
said was, " It's a good thing you're pretty. " Her arms were folded over her
chest as she listened to them all give their input, and considered their next
action. " They're
ardent idolatry: either pretty brave or really fucking stupid if they aren't
raiders, and they're using their reputation to hit innes here about's. " A
nod was given to Bianca before she said: " How long do you think it would
take by horseback? "
edict unwritten: Even Shepherd gave him hassle for stating out the obvious,
an ugly habit of his, one that he'd break one day. His attention drew to
Bianca who seemed to have a good knowledge of the land.
Iady kissekatt: "Half a day or a bit less, if you don't dawdle about, I
suppose." She didn't really ride horses, though she did take carriages and
that was much different so she tried to figure it out as best as she could.
ardent idolatry: " I don't really want to waste half a da-- Oh! " She looked
excited for a moment, then started searching around in the small pouch she
had on her belt. It was usually where she kept her pistol-pellets, but
something much better was
ardent idolatry: in there for now. A jar was pulled out, with a colourful
dust inside. " I can make a portal! " She only had enough for three portals,
but she figured.. why not.
Georg Pryme: He'd nod as Cordy pulled out the jar and spoke of the portal,
looking from her, to Quinn then to Bianca. "We'll need to be quick once we
get there. I've a few tricks I can use to get to Missy and get her out
safe." He shifted his

the third gets Missy," which lead to another question, "How long does this
portal stay open?"
Iady kissekatt: She stared at the jar, and then at Cordelia, and gave a nod.
It would be quicker to go by portal after all, so she had no qualms about it.
ardent idolatry: After a few seconds wait to see if anyone protested
traveling through a portal, she cleared out some space near a wall. " I have
no idea if its going to work, I found it at the Bazaar in Westby. " That was
probably an ominous omen,
ardent idolatry: but she liked the pretty colours of the dust - not that
she'd admit that to anyone. Quinn's question was given a shrug, " We can
always use the Union to get back if it doesn't stay open. That's if we live
through it! " She grinned
Iady kissekatt: (brb I have to put dinner in the oven)
ardent idolatry: lightly, before picturing the name of the place she wanted
to go; for that is what the merchant had told her to do! While she thought
about it, she threw some of the dust at the wall, and slowly, but surely a

Georg Pryme: He set his focus on the task at hand. His muscles shifting a

within
Georg Pryme: himself as he made ready to enter the portal(CM: Rock Titan: +2

someone through before he entered, "what else I got to lose, you only live

ardent idolatry: Upon entering the portal, Quinn would feel the pull of
magic, and then a retching feeling as he was pulled and torn apart atom by

quite. He was also ankle deep in dirty water, and there was a large rat

suck when Quinn found out otherwise.
Georg Pryme: Well, normally he'd be all about ladies going first, but he'd
lead the way for Bianca. He hadn't drawn a weapon yet, and wouldn't need to
til he was ready. No hesitation, he just stepped right on through,
attempting to be ready
Georg Pryme: for whatever awaited him on the other side.
Iady kissekatt: She headed on through! (brb agian, sorry son needs me)
edict unwritten: On his ass he went!
ardent idolatry: Just like Quinn, they would all - inc. Cordelia by that
point - feel the retch, and pull of the teleporation. For those that had felt
it before, it felt all wrong. Each of them would appear in DIFFERENT places
in the same dank sewer
ardent idolatry: but Biana would be able to see the hatched bars around her
that worked into the ceiling and the floor. They were trapped in cells.
Georg's was so small that he would find it difficult to move, and Cordelia
was pressed up against
ardent idolatry: the wall so she couldn't move her hands. " We got em miss!
We got em! " Came an annoying voice from above, and there was one big purple
eye peeking down through a drain. " Cans we eats one now? " The voice was
followed by a yelp,
ardent idolatry: and a scurry.

free hand. And she was alone, Baldur would love that. She blinked as she
moved around as much as
Georg Pryme: himself. He would not freak out about being caged in front of
them. He took the time available to study what he could see. There was a
rage smoldering in his eyes, teeth grinding as he bit back the howl that wet
his lips.
Iady kissekatt: she could in her cell.
Georg Pryme: "Someone's making really bad decisions today. The grave awaits
many this day."
ardent idolatry: It's OK, only Quinn's cell had a giant rat in it!
Georg Pryme: (There might be a very squished one in Georg's!)
edict unwritten: Quinn looked to the rat and then the rope. He attempted to
figure out what it was tied to and if the rat didn't want to give it up well
he had no problem stabbing a rat so he could help them get out of this bind.
He ignored the men

voice to carry through the room. "Anyone hurt?" He was more than a bit out
of his element.
Georg Pryme: Well, there was really only one way Georg was getting out
without assistance. He locked each of his hands around a section of the
bars, gripping tightly as he used what momentum from it that he could to
start attempting to weaken
Iady kissekatt: Cool thing about Rune Fang was she could still do all her
magic and such in the form. Perks of a mystic. She tried squeezing her rat

(brb agian, sorry son needs me)

in the same dank sewer

that worked into the ceiling and the floor. They were trapped in cells.
Georg's was so small that he would find it difficult to move, and Cordelia

We got em! " Came an annoying voice from above, and there was one big purple

Georg Pryme: Well, who could be prepared to be walking one minute and

Iady kissekatt: "Oh by the gods, really?" she muttered as her feet hit the
stinking water and she tried to tug her long white dress upwards with her
free hand. And she was alone, Baldur would love that. She blinked as she
moved around as much as
Georg Pryme: himself. He would not freak out about being caged in front of

rage smoldering in his eyes, teeth grinding as he bit back the howl that wet
his lips.
Iady kissekatt: she could in her cell.
Georg Pryme: "Someone's making really bad decisions today. The grave awaits

he had no problem stabbing a rat so he could help them get out of this bind.

She tried squeezing her rat
body through the holes of the cell to get herself out, and if she was
successful stayed in rat form
ardent idolatry: [ Noted the polymorph ]
