The story so far: Atiator, a grand Elder Dragon, used the Longstop as a testing ground for members of the Heart. They showed up, and he challenged them to combat. They 'won', passing his trials, and he informed them that a great being was awakening, and they would need to be prepared to stop it. He left them with little more than a cryptic promise to see them again.

Oh, and if you could save the other goblins, that's good too. One was saved, but what other dangers await?

at Maria. Maria shrugged, trying to avoid punching the little thing through
the wall in frustration. The diminutive figure next to her
SwordOfAtrophy: waved it's little arms around emphatically. "Help, help,
please, please!" It spoke from behind some sort of mask that covered it's
whole head, with airholes in the 'cheeks' to allow air in and out. Maria
SwordOfAtrophy: rubbed her temples like she had a headache. "Ok, ok, my
people are here, just tell them what you need." The figure turned and waved
it's arms emphatically, speaking quickly. "I'z Brayflox, I make
SwordOfAtrophy: cheese using Gobbie secrets. But.. but.. a big big lizard
came and took my space! It poisons my cheese! I makes no gold this way!
Please help me move it." Maria nodded. "I'm not sure what's going on, but
SwordOfAtrophy: from what she says it sounds like it's devastating the local
ecosystem and poisoning the land, so if you can cease that in any way, you
should. And if you see more like our friend here, do what you
SwordOfAtrophy: can to save them." The figure jumped up and down. "Longstop
is near Foulspawn lagoon, you go yes?" The portal stands ready to bring you
to the Madder.

towards the small creature screaming. His eye's narrowed down a bit at the

hypnotic sands: Hearing they would be going to Madder, she considered just
saying no. She was afraid of water, and a lagoon was mentioned. This was no
good at all, a swamp was completely different from the desert! "I.. I don't
know." She swallowed,
hypnotic sands: wriggling in her borrowed armor, and rubbing her hands
together. "Do we go in the water?"
GallantBurst: ::Adal came forward as he looked towards the goblin. His hand
rubbing the back of his head as he was now outfitted as a real adventurer

small thing she growled and stayed back a little due to a phobia. When Zahra
spoke of the water Ella scrunched her nose. "I can't swim." She mentioned,

Ralen? Let's give it a go. Just as long as we can claim "all your cheese

and stood as he pat Marrok's head-- Well boy looks like we get to get you on
out there with me tonight. --he said and smirked as he looked over-- A lagoon

SwordOfAtrophy: "It's a term for an oasis.." Jane intoned as she came down
the stairs, dressed for combat, katana in her hands. "Cheese spoils in water,
so doubtful there will be much swimming involved."
Aphotic Frenzy: hope not." She grumbled and moved through the portal all the

RageofNocturne: dont mind the smell of wet dog. --he chuckled and moved on
through with Marrok right beside him-D-
SeIestan: =A swamp was better than a dessert, Sonya thought. With no weapons
or armor, just normal looking clothing, including a pair of gloves, she rose,
ready to follow through the portal who ever lead=

Aphotic Frenzy: "Aha-Aha Ralen. No, I cannot swim. If you knew anything
about me you'd know why..." Another flaw she had via flavor, Fear of Water.
She stared out at the lagoon and chewed on her bottom lip a moment. She would
cast [Spirit of the
Aphotic Frenzy: Mountian] Onto herself, giving her the strength she'd need
to move past her fears. -d-

SwordOfAtrophy: "Don't worry, if you fall in, I'll pull you out." She gave
the barest hint of a smirk, and stepped through the portal. Because danger
was fun.

RageofNocturne: :: He would on being on the otherside then looked to Ralen
then to Jane before right back to Ralen-- Ever think of using that against
her friend. And you will find trouble with me. --he said and eyed Ralen a
moment as Marrok sniffed
SwordOfAtrophy: The portal deposits you on a path, lush vegitation on either
side. Behind you is a large stone gate, that is the barrier between this
particular section of the lagoon, and the rest of the swampy
SwordOfAtrophy: terrain nearby. Wooden fences line the path, odd green runes
perched atop them. The path lies ahead, though the canopy of trees casts dim
shadows all throughout, creating an eerie scene.

hypnotic sands: She stepped through the portal as well, clasping her hands
together before her and rubbing her hands. She was nervous, it was not like
her to be so, but she could do nothing about it now that she had walked
through the portal.
SoI Knight: It's ok. If you can't swim. I'll just carry you through the
water. ::Spoken as he looked ahead at the path that was before them. Ralen's
eye's narrowed down as he begun to scan the area seeing if he could spot
anything that looked

glance about as well. His hand holding his shield up and other the sword

pistol's shot. Just a fair warning for you guys.-D-
SwordOfAtrophy: The path continues through the vegetation, though strangely
the usual heat and humidity from the area seems supressed, as you walk along,
as though powerful forces are at work. You reach a fork, where
SwordOfAtrophy: a large wooden door stands, barring passage further in. To
the left is a path that winds away, and a faint smell of.. something not
quite pleasant cooking. To the right is another path, nothing
SwordOfAtrophy: unusual about it.
GallantBurst: This isn't the time for food Ralen. Though it does look like
it would make a great meal. ::He'd shake his head.:: Focus on the task at
hand for now though. We'll think about catching our own game later. ::He
begun to step forward

Aphotic Frenzy: Ella just slowly looked towards Ralen. "Really?" She raised
a brow and smirked. Holding back laughter. "You go ahead there muscles." She
commented. Then walked along the path. Moving up to the fork in the road she

SwordOfAtrophy: She meandered along, the lack of cold meant no heavy cloak
this time, so she just stretched the katana across her shoulders, resting her
arms on it. "Someone's making dinner... poorly.."
Aphotic Frenzy: unpleasant. "I have read, that cheese smells... unpleasant."
Clearly she didn't know personally. "Perhaps... that way?" She offered, then
let her eyes cloud over a cloudy white hue. [Blindsense - Heat Signatures].

didn't like the smell of it but Marrok didn't much care since he had a strong
stomach. Gabriel then pointed down the left side-- Marrok...Seek. --he said

the [side] of the wooden gate, he'd press his hand against it, to see if it
were open or if there was a lock upon it to continue to bar their path from

SwordOfAtrophy: Heat is coming from the left, with the smell. Other than
that you just pick up ambient temperature of everyone.
hypnotic sands: Zahra stepped along with the group, remaining silent now for
she was a beginner in this business and it seemed like a few of the others
were far more experienced. Besides, this was the first time she'd been in a
swamp. She gazed
hypnotic sands: around with wide black eyes, wrapping her arms around her at
the profusion of water.
SwordOfAtrophy: The door doesn't appear to have a keyhole, or any way to
open it. It extends from both sides of the path, all the way to the canopy of
the treetops. There doesn't seem to be any way to circumvent it,
SwordOfAtrophy: by design as well.
SwordOfAtrophy: You push it, and it doesn't move.
GallantBurst: ::Adal shrugs a bit at Ralen's attempt to open the door.::
Let's go find out whats cooking. ::He suggested as he begun to move down the

grin and moved along with them. Moving slow so she could hear what Marrok had
come across. Her tail swaying behind her as her wings flapped lightly in

him then blinked and stood up-- Alright...so we got some bad cheese up
ahead....a friend....and some flying lizards. Lets keep it tight knit and

SeIestan: =Sonya moved along, behind galen. Having next to nothing as
defense, she was hoping someone could be a good blocker, when combat began.=
SwordOfAtrophy: "Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...." A tortured
scream and huge amounts of buzzing com from up ahead. You reach a clearing,
with several blankets strung about, cooking pots, and large supplies
SwordOfAtrophy: of wood, with several large cast iron containers. A small
creature, similar to the one that was with Maria, was frantically trying to
fight off four large lizards with translucent insect wings that
SwordOfAtrophy: were making a horrible buzzing sound. "Help meeeeeeeee!!!"

would see the attack and the flying lizards he had seen through Marrok and

actually stone, and it feels warm to the touch. "Gate gate gate key!
...Though.. not only one. Find Maybrix, he has other! I make cheese now." And
SwordOfAtrophy: just like a teenager with ADD, the little thing forgot they
were there, and ran about it's business with various cooking tools.
Aphotic Frenzy: Ella chuckled and stood up. Brushing herself off with a
grin. Ella then took out her parring dagger and started to skin the Alpha and
Puk 2, the ones she gave killing blows to. Taking out a few vials she also
collected blood from
Aphotic Frenzy: the curious damage eating Elementals. Humming away as she

towards the small creature screaming. His eye's narrowed down a bit at the

saying no. She was afraid of water, and a lagoon was mentioned. This was no
good at all, a swamp was completely different from the desert! "I.. I don't

rubbing the back of his head as he was now outfitted as a real adventurer

She stared out at the lagoon and chewed on her bottom lip a moment. She would

side. Behind you is a large stone gate, that is the barrier between this
particular section of the lagoon, and the rest of the swampy
SwordOfAtrophy: terrain nearby. Wooden fences line the path, odd green runes
perched atop them. The path lies ahead, though the canopy of trees casts dim
shadows all throughout, creating an eerie scene.

together before her and rubbing her hands. She was nervous, it was not like
her to be so, but she could do nothing about it now that she had walked
through the portal.

water. ::Spoken as he looked ahead at the path that was before them. Ralen's
eye's narrowed down as he begun to scan the area seeing if he could spot
anything that looked

the left is a path that winds away, and a faint smell of.. something not
quite pleasant cooking. To the right is another path, nothing

she was a beginner in this business and it seemed like a few of the others
were far more experienced. Besides, this was the first time she'd been in a
swamp. She gazed
hypnotic sands: around with wide black eyes, wrapping her arms around her at
the profusion of water.
SwordOfAtrophy: The door doesn't appear to have a keyhole, or any way to
open it. It extends from both sides of the path, all the way to the canopy of
the treetops. There doesn't seem to be any way to circumvent it,
SwordOfAtrophy: by design as well.

him then blinked and stood up-- Alright...so we got some bad cheese up

defense, she was hoping someone could be a good blocker, when combat began.=

scream and huge amounts of buzzing com from up ahead. You reach a clearing,
with several blankets strung about, cooking pots, and large supplies

creature, similar to the one that was with Maria, was frantically trying to
fight off four large lizards with translucent insect wings that

it's arms, and thus it's entire body frantically. "Brayflox sent yuuuuu? Then
you need this!" It extends a gloved hand, holding what looks
SwordOfAtrophy: like.. a piece of cheese. But when you take it, it's
actually stone, and it feels warm to the touch. "Gate gate gate key!
...Though.. not only one. Find Maybrix, he has other! I make cheese now." And
SwordOfAtrophy: just like a teenager with ADD, the little thing forgot they
were there, and ran about it's business with various cooking tools.
Aphotic Frenzy: Ella chuckled and stood up. Brushing herself off with a
grin. Ella then took out her parring dagger and started to skin the Alpha and
Puk 2, the ones she gave killing blows to. Taking out a few vials she also
collected blood from
Aphotic Frenzy: the curious damage eating Elementals. Humming away as she
did her work. -d-
