The Siren's Mistrust Black Shadow
Vixen, the leader of The Syndicate, has developed an interest in pirate's, so much so, that she's decided to become one. Rather than pay out the expense of building a pirate ship, she's decided to steal one. After finding out about a particularly weak-minded deck hand of The Siren's Mistrust, The Syndicate headed to Westby to try and turn him to their side. Instead, they managed to get themselves into a brawl, and had to take the deckhand hostage.
Update: Georg managed to get the deckhand hostage all the way back to Drowsing, and The Bullet and Blade. Through.. interesting means, he managed to get the name of the Captain, and the real name of the ship Cordelia was trying to steal. Captain Black, of The Black Shadow. The pirate prisoner offered to aid The Syndicate aboard as pirates themselves.
Beneath Dreadrose Castle
Vixen won a card game by less-than-legal means against a noble man called Altien. In this game Altien put up a castle to cover his bets, and lost. He was not happy with the outcome of the match and sent a group of mercenaries to try and bully Vixen into giving up the deed to the castle. Vixen wasn't interested in his proposal and there was a brawl. Intent on finding out what was so important about the castle, Vixen and the Syndicate, plus other mercenaries headed towards the castle - only to be ambushed by Altien and his men. They were attacked, and Altien killed. Upon reaching the castle, and opening the vast doors, a tremble shook the castle at its foundation, and that was when they heard the roar.
Update: Adalric was sent out by Cordelia to chase down the mage that attacked them, to find out what was so special about the castle. He managed to find out that not only was the castle full of riches, but beneath it lived an Incarnum dragon.
Update: The Syndicate crew decided enough was enough, they were going to face the dragon head on! Quinn and Andron, a new recruit, were sent off to deal with the eggs and hatching whelplings. While Cordelia, Georg and Adalric took on the dragon. It seemed to be going well, sort of, until the dragon managed to escape.
Razing the Tents
The Syndicate have moved into Navahla, Sarkotos and there are gangs in the city that are not happy with the flagrant opulence of Vixen and her inne. At the Down at the Races event hosted by The Bitter End, one of Vixen's holdings, the Flyleal gang sent a message... by burning down the tents hosting visitors. Few clues were left behind by the thugs who did the deed, but the information they did leave was enough to track them to a meeting.
Update: Using the information left behind at the race track, Quinn was able to infiltrate a meeting set up by the Flyleal gang (this is still not known by The Syndicate). Using special means, he was able to extract that the name of the man that issued the order was named Miller.
Kernesh's Rampage
Kernesh was the Imp familiar of Fedruss, a half-giantess who was responsible for the death of at least twenty whores. Upon her death he was sent back to the Hell plane from whence he came. There he waits until he can find a way back to the material plane, to twist another innocent soul to do his evil bidding. Kernesh has high hopes, and lofty goals.
