Davkul could not be sure exactly how all this might playout with nor without his intervention. The goings-on within the Hospice seemed far more dire than seeing Justice come to the Black Knight for his crimes. Between the Matron reacting to being forced to speak the truth to the questions asked with such violent coughs and choking and the talk about the still unseen Mariette .. he had no choice other than to work with the enemy to uncover the truth.
A distraction of his own came when the red-headed Squire appeared to nearly faint a step forward finding the Hellborne helping to keep her upright. Although he was not certain there were any injuries being suffered from there were other things that might help. The fact that he could help meant that Davkul acted to do just that .. channeling positive, healing, energy into the woman with a little something extra to pull off the draining veil of fatigue that seemed likely to be what was dragging her , almost literally, down. ( Skill: Mercy [Remove Fatigue] )
Davkul sighed, between the reaction of the woman to either her accidental use of him for support or was it the touch to heal the unseen hurt and fatigue that weighed her limbs down? No matter .. it stilled earned her his attention when she replied with a simple confirmation that following the orders of the Black Knight were best for the situation.
" I will then .. but this better not all be his doing. "
He at least would step other .. a little more quickly when it was announced that his presence, and the zone of truth, were to blame for the Matron's condition.
