Shadows. A lot of things happens in the shrouds of darkness. Sordid affairs, adulterous coupling, murderous intent, and criminal perversions. Many didn't dare to step into the piss stained alleys, where the crassness of society loiter with ill intents? Weary as they fumble around in the darkness, because some knew that as you gazed into the beast, the beast has a way of staring back into you. Such was where he has set up shop, in the back streets. Some would say not much heavy foot traffic, poor business planning, but he catered to only one clientele. The addicts of the world, pushing tainted pleasures upon them in exchange for their coins, he cared little about how they got.
Severius sat in the small 50 x 50 shop, nothing more then a shack really, the decor? a bum who had fall asleep with a bottle of something potent leaning against his bulbous belly, a lady or two turning tricks on some traveler, and a dead body, from the smell of it, having been there for days.
"I heard you got silver spiders." The small voice pulled Severius from his daze, taking in the view of his new establishment, to now looking over the wretch of a goblin staring up a him, sweat pouring down his mucus green visage, now and then scratching at his skin as if something was crawling over him.
"How much you got?" Replied Severius. Voice was low, as he he took a brief glance up and down the alley way, it wasnt often someone sought out silver spiders, beautiful arachnid creations in which bodies where covered in fine silver hair. Their bite had an euphoric effect that lasted for almost an hour.
"210 gold . . . b.u..t but..t I can geett mor..e.." Stuttering was the goblin, as if that fix was right in his grasp.
"210, but you will inform others about where you got them from who uses, let them know I have other things. If you inform the guards though. I will cut you into pieces and feed you to you family in a stew." Severius heard the stammering, to much of the venom could lead to brain death, but just the right amount could leave some dim witted, it would seem the goblin found a happy medium between bliss and death.
Severius walked over to a clear case, in which housed two, normally they lived in a group of up to ten, but if he didn't separate them he wouldn't make any type of gold. Supply and demand, and he would watch as the shaky hand of the goblin would count out the coins, and as Severius handed over the box he took off in a run, almost giddy that he would be able to shake the withdrawls he was having.
