Tesarik One: Ok folks - it's another evening in the inne, yes we are going

to ride that cliche into the ground tonight because it's an easy place to

start when I don't know exactly what I'm doing! Tonight's dinner special that

Maria has made is

Tesarik One: thick and chunky venison stew with all sorts of veggies, spiced

greens, and yeast rolls with fresh butter. For dessert, apple and pumpkin

pie. For whatever reason, perhaps because many of you are new and this is

where you are living

Tesarik One: for the time being under the leadership of Maria, you are all

either in the tap room, or out in the courtyard, or somewhere nearby! (Begin

RP)

RageofNocturne: :: Well with that delicious thick and chunky venison stew

being served ofcoarse Cyrus was present sitting at a table eating his third

helping! His bird Sheerow next to him perched on the end of the table eating

a piece of bread plac

RageofNocturne: ed before her while his weapons sat leaning against the

table right beside him as well he couldn't very well sit down with a bow on

his back and sword and axe on his hip now could he?-D-

SwordOfAtrophy: Being a Lumian, Vyce didn't eat, so while the others enjoyed

a deliciously smelling dinner, he nibbled a bite here or there to be both

polite and respectful to the boss for all her effort. But after that, he was

in the corner of the

Raufak Agnarsson: Raufak was in the inne! He wasn't training in the arena as

much as he used to, because he spent most of the week training and didn't

want to exhaust himself! He was having a bit of stew and disliking the

veggies, but he ate 'em just

Mighty Gar thog: ~The dwarf was at a table near the fireplace, alone. He was

enjoying the meal, drinking a mug of DEAD BUTTERFLY, thinking up some good

music to play after creating it~

SwordOfAtrophy: Inne, reading a tome as he levitated there, not being a

bother to anyone.

Tales0fBeauty: The arch angel was never far from her beloved as she sat

right next to cyrus, the sword of the arch angels hilted at her side as

always, her pure white wings given a bit of a ruffle as she sat there and

just sipped on her

Raufak Agnarsson: the same. That and a few rolls made up his dinner, though

he did have a good slice of pie nearby waiting to be eaten.

Tesarik One: Sessa was sitting at the bar, with a big bowl of that stew in

front of her and several pieces of bread. Even sitting, she was still rather

tall, since the giantkin did stand at 7 foot 3 inches without her boots on!

Tales0fBeauty: drink which she had brought for herself, she wore only that

little black dress as always tonight, with corsseted top laced in the back

with black silk ribbons. a soft smile appearing on the angelic features as

she glanced around the

Tesarik One: of charcoal and an old piece of parchment and was trying to

sketch out a sword she wanted to have made. For now, she was using a borrowed

great scimitar. Quiet, perhaps even introspective, she just ate and drew.

Her pale pink hair,

Tesarik One: much of it in long braids down almost to her knees, was tied

back with a bit of leather to keep it out of the way.

Raufak Agnarsson: Sessa was probably borrowing the same sword he'd borrowed

before he had his made! He eyed her a bit, since she had some preposterously

long hair, and was so damned tall, even by his standards! That and she was

good lookin! But his

Raufak Agnarsson: stomach growled to complain that he wasn't paying it

enough attention, so he went back to his food after the good eyeballing.

Tesarik One: She glanced over to Raufak while she chewed a piece of meat,

and once she swallowed he was given a big grin though she did remain quiet,

just watching him as he eyeballed her. Then she too went back to her eating.

Tesarik One: "Ribbit."

Raufak Agnarsson: Well she got a wink for her troubles, at least! Wait, who

was saying ribbit? He eyed his stew warily.

RageofNocturne: :: He looked to Angelica and smiled to her as Sheerow let

out a a sharp chup chup chup sound to Angelica. Cyrus then lifted his head--

Is there a frog in here? --he asked and put his spoon down and looked

around-D-

Mighty Gar thog: ~The dwarf was smiling widely, nodding as well, lost in his

own thoughts. He was enjoying not just one drink, but had a simple ale,

aswell, which he lifted and drank from now~

SwordOfAtrophy: Vyce looked up from the book. Ribbit? He glanced around the

room. A strong half-orc, a dwarf, a couple at a table, a very tall warrior at

the bar.. with seriously long hair. Not one of them appeared to be part frog.

At

SwordOfAtrophy: Cyrus's comment, it confirmed that he was not the only one

who heard that. "Thought, perhaps, I imagined that..."

Tesarik One: "RRrrrrrrrrbt...ku ku ku...kukukukuku." (IM's incoming)

Tales0fBeauty: She would lift a delicate angelic hand to pat the bird on the

head and then she looked to cyrus and raised a soft brow to the ribbit sound

"I didn't see a frog when i entered, her wings given another ruffle as she

heard the next

Tesarik One: I think i got everyone. THAT's what you are hearing.... coming

from outside!

Tales0fBeauty: sound eyes darted this way and that trying to figure out

where it was coming from, hand moved to the hilt of her sword just in case.

Raufak Agnarsson: Well, good. At least it was coming from outside and not

from his stew! He plopped his spoon into it, then glanced over towards the

door..then darted on up the stairs as fast as his legs could carry him!

RageofNocturne: :: Hearing the sounds from outside he got his bow on his

back then his axe and Deathbreaker on his hip and lowered his arm to lift get

Sheerow who climbed up to his shoulder then looked to the door-- What in the

name of the Goddesse

Tesarik One: She furrowed her brow and glanced down into her stew as well

for a moment as that odd sounding froggy noise happened around them. She

looked up and around, at least others were making comments about it. It

didn't sound like it was

RageofNocturne: s is that...--he said and stepped over to the window to look

outside-D-

Tesarik One: coming from inside, though, so she slid off her seat, took one

last drink of her mead, and moved to peer out of a window.

SwordOfAtrophy: Vyce ceased levitating, dropping his feet to the floor and

closing the book. He stowed it under a nearby table for safety. He moved to

the center of the room, as the others seem to have the windows covered and he

could observe and

SwordOfAtrophy: be more useful there rather than trying to peer over their

shoulders. He'd wait for the report.

Tesarik One: Didn't take a spot check for those peering out into the

courtyard to see frogs about. Light green frogs with darker green spots on

them. Hopping about, here and there, a good half a dozen of them all about as

big as a man's hand.

Raufak Agnarsson: He wasn't concerned about frogs of course, but he also

tended to not go outside at all unless he was armed. Which is why he came on

down the stairs once again, great falchion on his back and his breastplate

on, then headed on over

Raufak Agnarsson: to a window to have a peek.

Tales0fBeauty: She would move and she would stand to her feet another ruffle

of her wings given, why? cause she never let them grow stiff on her, never

know when you need to fly away or something! She would move to look over

cyrus shoulder out the

Tales0fBeauty: window as well and she said softly resting her head on his

free shoulder "Is that normal in these lands?" (D)

Mighty Gar thog: ~The dwarf continued to eat, trying to work the frog sounds

into his musical arrangement~

Tesarik One: Well there was a pond in the nearby Amelia Park.

Raufak Agnarsson: "They're not unusual in this land, havin them all hopping

about in the courtyard is a bit more unusual." He opened up the door and

stepped out, crouching down and eyeing the nearest frog. "What's got you all

displaced, frog?" Not

Raufak Agnarsson: that he figured the frog could speak back, it was more

thinking out loud!

Mighty Gar thog: Frogs sound sooo niiiccce! ~he smiled, and looked into

empty air, as if he saw something the others did not~

Tesarik One: "I don't know anything about frogs, unfortunately," said the

giantkin as she peered out the window over the heads of the others, watching

the frogs hop about. "Should we shoo them back into the park?"

Tesarik One: Raufak, roll a willpower save vs Fear please.

RageofNocturne: :: I have smelled a pond nearby....but this doesn't seem

normal by any means....a mass migration maybe? --he said and would move to

the door to head outside sending Sheerow into the air to take flight now-D-

Tesarik One: Fearless of course doesn't mean one never feels fear, it means

they can handle the fear when it comes. Raufak, you can tell that something

is wrong outside, and you can feel the fear even if you aren't going to react

by running away

Tesarik One: or anything of the sort.

Mighty Gar thog: Depends ~He answered the large woman~ Anyone on the

streets, or wagons about, thet might run em o'er?

Tesarik One: Cyrus, roll a save as well. Anyone who moves outside into the

courtyard must roll a save against fear.

Raufak Agnarsson: He scowled at nothing in particular...he wasn't going to

panic and run away of course, but to those watching him from safely indoors

might wonder why he suddenly straightened up and drew the large weapon off of

his back.

things out for herself, those wings of hers given another ruffle "or a

plague..." she said thinking back to the times of moses and the egyptians she

Tesarik One: She shrugged, and then when the others began to head outside,

she followed. Her own weapon was pulled off her back when she saw Raufak had

retrieved his.

Raufak Agnarsson: He of course had a good look around to see if he might be

able to spot what was making him feel so uneasy.

SwordOfAtrophy: He did notice something was definitely amiss. What he was

going to do, is prepare. He summoned the small ball of Lightning, and sent it

towards Raufak, who would feel just a smidge faster. Then one for Sessa as

Mighty Gar thog: ~Seeing everyone go out, he listened to his new giant frog

friend that told him to follow, so out he went with his club~

Raufak Agnarsson: "The fuck?" Said as he saw a ball of lightning heading

towards him whilst looking about, but then he felt more fasterer! Well he

couldn't argue with that, as long as it didn't make his hair stand on end.

Tesarik One: DC15 - If you failed, you feel fearful even stepping out into

the courtyard and it is all you can do to not just stay inside in the tap

room.

Raufak Agnarsson: "Alright, whatever the fuck is going on here, I don't like

it. Anyone got other ways of seein what might be going on?" Shroudsight, or

something like that!

SwordOfAtrophy: Vyce, as a static Lumian, didn't much care for water

dwellers, but he was going to be helpful if he could, so he stepped outside

with the group.

Tesarik One: She rolled her shoulders as she felt something touch her

magically, and glanced around, catching the eyes of Vyce since the ball of

lightning had come from his way. She nodded to him.

Tesarik One: The frogs begin to crowd towards you all. Six of them, bigger

than they should be, forming a semi circle hedging you all in against the

wall of the inne. That fear you are all feeling? You can tell now without a

doubt it has to be

Tesarik One: coming from the.....

Tesarik One: frogs. The frogs are producing a fear aura.

Raufak Agnarsson: Well then, he'd react the way he wanted to react to the

fear in the first place! By trying to cleave one of the frogs in half with

his big ol' sword.

Tales0fBeauty: She would look curiously at the frogs she felt the fear, but

she was fearless so she didn't react like the others might as they were all

coralled by them though she would would unseath her sword she was not going

to get assalted by

Tales0fBeauty: frogs!

Raufak Agnarsson: (Shall I roll strike?)

Tesarik One: Give me one sec.

Raufak Agnarsson: (ok)

Mighty Gar thog: ~He chuckled and looked at the frogs~ Awww cute lil green

fellas... ain't they cute as ken be?

RageofNocturne: :: he looked to Angelica and smirked-- Well granted that did

occur however i have my doubts that is what occuring my love.... --he said to

her as he drew Deathbreaker aswell and began to grow black fur up along his

neck-D-

what the big guy upstairs is up too these days!" she said in reply to cyrus

words, and she gave her wings another ruffle eyeing those frogs as she did

Mighty Gar thog: ~The dwarfwould have stepped in and taken that sword blow,

but staggered as he tried~

Tesarik One: The frog was sliced in half, gooey blood poured out, and then

there was the odd sound of Poof. Poof. Poof. Poof. Poof. The five remaining

frogs shifted into their true forms.

Raufak Agnarsson: "Fucker." .....and then they started poofing! He yanked

his sword out of the ground, since it probably sank into it a bit after it

went through the frog, then eyed the other not-frogs.

Tesarik One: They were about a foot and a half high, ram horned, tiny winged

critter with a thin and wiry body. From where it was perched on the barn, a

larger one flew down and landed on a pile of hay by the barn.

Tesarik One: Would anyone like to roll a Knowledge (Planes)?

Raufak Agnarsson: (Absolutely)

little less fearful, but still wanted to hide, though he'd stay outside.

and loud~ Y'all saw thet too, roight?

Raufak Agnarsson: "Alright, you bastards." He eyed the nearest one and

shifted his blade in his hands, the adamantine shifting itself into cold iron

'cause..metalline enchant! And that's why he got it. "Get your poison resists

ready if you got 'em,

Raufak Agnarsson: and don't bother using any electricity or poison

yourselves. Cold iron if ya got it. Never run into quasit demons before

myself, but I've read about 'em." And that was another thing now checked off

his bucket list. He then switched

Raufak Agnarsson: to Abysssal and addressed the demons directly. "I'll give

you one chance to get out of here before I do that to the rest of ya." Said

with a gesture to the halved frog.

SwordOfAtrophy: ".....well damn.." There went casting any damage spells, so

he summoned the Mindblade, and held it in his hand in a defensive stance.

Seriously, first adventure he goes on the enemies are numbed to electricty.

What luck.

Tesarik One: Ok if anyone else wants to roll for any reason for knowledge if

you have a skill that allows you, you can, but Rauf's roll was high enough

for him to learn anything I can tell you. Which he has told you all anyway.

Mighty Gar thog: They still look sooo pretty! ~he held his club in his

hands, not attacking the thingies~

Tesarik One: The little demon laughed hysterically at Raufak's threat, and

the aura of fear got stronger as they all had changed in their actual forms.

They were slightly intimidating, actually, even being as small as they were!

with it's sharp lil teeth while dragging it's poison claws across his face.

Tesarik One: "You think a demon is pretty?" Sessa blinked as she stepped out

and watched the buggers change into demons. She was ready to try her hand in

attacking them.

Mighty Gar thog: No orc face! You attacked them first! Bad orc face!

Raufak Agnarsson: And well..he attempted to bring his sword around in a good

diagonal swing to swat that critter right out of the air before it got out of

his reach. "I'd argue using some fuckin fear aura is attacking first,

myself."

Raufak Agnarsson: Well his orc family hadn't trained him in fighting shit

that was flying around!

Tales0fBeauty: She was an agnel, she was quite familiar with demons, she

merely smirked as they took their true from and she would look to the leader

as he was a bit bigger and landed on the ground, her icy blue hues turning

Tesarik One: Since Raufak was hostile, and pretty much Ophelia auto-passed

diplomacy that does make him one step up so he's now unfriendly. But as

diplomacy isn't mind control he is still free to of course make his own

decisions, though swayed

Tesarik One: (I never said that.... Maria said do not fight on quests with

each other, save it till you get home on your own time or she will dock pay.

If it continues, you will be banned from going on adventures for a time, if

you won't stop

Tesarik One: then you will be dismissed from the company. But, in this case,

unless the other witnesses are going to say something didn't happen, Krag did

bring this on himself. Does anyone who was there disagree with that?)
