This beautiful bastard sword (1d6) has a black blade that twinkles like the night sky with a hilt made from bones of death knights. The hilt is designed to represent the horns tipped with violet gems branching out from a demonic face with a great open maw within which is a dark hallow. Runin runes are set into the pommel in golden script that repeat a single word “Mourn”. To anyone without Magical Affinity, this weapon functions only as a bastard sword with none of the following benefits. When a rightful wielder (someone with magical affinity) comes near or touches Mournsky the world darkens and no matter the time of day or intervening barriers for a moment you can see the night sky and you witness a shooting star falling down like a single tear drop. Mournsky cannot do damage to its owner and will even try to leap from the hand of someone attempting to use it against its owner. The owner of Mournsky can, if the weapon would kill an opponent with it's attack, choose to withhold that damage and instead leave a vicious unhealable scar, permanently blind her (or only take one eye), or remove an appendage, which leaves your opponent at 1 point above their max hp (such as 39/40). The way damage reduction works is unless you are attacked with what is stated, you always take 5 less damage.

Absorbent fibers line this heavy canvas coat. Once per adventure, the wearer can pour a potion onto this lining, suffusing it into the coat. If the potion has an instantaneous duration, the wearer can activate the coat at any time to consume the potion, it does not take up his turn. If the potion’s duration is measured in rounds, the wearer can activate the coat to gain the potion’s benefits for 1 round, repeating as desired each round until the potion’s entire duration has been used. These rounds do not need to be consecutive. The coat absorbs only potions with instantaneous or round-based durations, and only those which affect creatures (for example, it does not work on oils). Once the coat absorbs a potion, the potion cannot be retrieved from it, only used as described above. The absorbed potion loses its powers after 24 hours, even if unused, and should be removed from your dossier.

This rod is used as a quarterstaff, and it carved from the bone of a dragon. It is covered in draconic runes, and russet-stained from being boiled in dragon's blood. This quarterstaff gives benefits to those of draconic heritage. Dragonborn who bear this quarterstaff gain the ability to cast any spell already cast in combat again, but with the effects two gemstones down from the bearer's own gemstone ranking. So someone of Amber rank would cast the spell again with Crystal effects. Half-dragons who bear this quarterstaff can recast a spell he has already cast with the effect one gemstone down from his own gemstone. True Dragons who bear this quarterstaff can recast a spell at the same level as he has already cast it. These recastings do not count against the amount of spells allowed per combat, or per adventure.

Tesarik One: So, this is going to be Part 1. This may take 2 or 3 parts to

finish, we will finish it next week. Tuesday will be part 2 and if we need

another night we'll finish it up next Saturday.

Tesarik One: So, there is no need to rush, there will be a lot of combat but

I want you all to roleplay as well since I've put in at least a year into

this storyline of Dark Omens and I want it to go out with a bang, not just a

'yeah we fought

Tesarik One: and won, the end'.

Tesarik One: Much has happened over many months, even a year or more. Many

undead have been fought, three of the five Masters are confirmed dead, one is

unknown and we all know Pedur is alive and well. The most powerful of all the

Masters,

Tesarik One: it is apparent he will be faced last. Corda is the one unknown

at this time, but presumed dead, if anyone has info on that they can share

when we start up our roleplay. The Horror hiding on the dark side of the moon

is still there,

Tesarik One: and it's shadow can oft be seen moving across it but it has not

attacked anywhere that we know of again, though there is nothing we can do to

remove it except to kill all its summoners - all Five Masters. Undead have

risen up with

Tesarik One: the triple eclipse over all of Arith and every knight, fighter,

warrior, mage, ranger, farmer, townspeople and even young people have been

fighting them for weeks now. Maria was given PRIMAL IRON that her adventurers

found for her,

Tesarik One: and has had them forged into PRIMAL IRON DAGGERS (1d4) which

everyone here tonight is given. A challenge has been issued to Maria, finally

the battle many have been waiting for is imminent. A portal is open to

Deepfog Kirk in Zyon

Tesarik One: where we have been told the grand battle will occur. Grab your

primal iron dagger, step on through, and try to come back alive! (Begin RP)

Allegro Luna: Allegro was back from Doxenia to offer her assistance and

help to the wonderful adventuring company that she was a part of. Flying just

a few feet off the ground to keep her large wings stretched out and ready to

go. She was

psionic wanderer: Dorian had been out...he was out a lot lately, busy

running his own scheme to help with this whole situation! As he approached

the portal area, he was stuffing his robe of bones back into his satchel,

then producing his jacket of

scales change: Two remained.. though only one in particular had well earned

the ire of the Black Knight. Coming by the oppurtunity to face Pedur remained

elusive.. and perhaps would remain so. When presented with the chance..

Kythin was quick to

psionic wanderer: defense from inside and putting it on. Eyes shifting down

to his left hand and he flexed the fingers a bit, still..odd having it back.

It was gloved, of course, since nobody wanted to see a freshly regrown hand!

When he looked to

Tesarik Five: Sadlin had been keeping himself busy in Maria's inn sense the

gypsies had been in the city. Today though he lifted a brow as she gave him a

dagger. Such a....Bland weapon. Looking to the dagger, then back to Maria,

then the dagger

Tesarik One: Maria had the box of daggers, dark iron, she didn't have enough

to make larger weapons. She was waiting for everyone to take one before she

explained what she thought they'd do.

scales change: answer that call.. not to mention claim a Primal Iron Dagger

to add to his already impressive selection of weaponry. Though given the time

they were being handed out.. there was importance to it.. thus it would

replace his stiletto

psionic wanderer: Maria handing out daggers, getting a rather amused look on

his face. "..and what do you think I'm going to manage to do with that?"

Nevertheless, he took one and tucked it into his satchel.

Allegro Luna: wearing her self made mithralweave armor that was definitely

lightweight and made her look like a belly dancer with a massive black and

red claymore strapped to her back. Golden fox ears and a massive tail

shimmering in the light.

Tales0fBeauty: The tall slender elf paladin was a brave one tonight, joining

in on this adventure, but a paladin never turns down a fight, nor does a

Knight of the order of the silver flame, so there she was! dawned in her full

paladin armour,

Tesarik One: She eyed his hand and grinned, then looked to the box of

daggers. "Well, you all went through a lot of trouble to find me that chunk

of primal iron, and for good reason. These daggers don't do a lot of damage

on their own really,

Allegro Luna: She fluttered over to the box of daggers and takes one of

them. Looking to the others gathered around and offering a friendly wave.[d]

Tesarik Five: again he finally shrugged before he slipped it into his belt

before he leaned on his cane just a bit, his feet crossing one another while

he stood and waited on the others. Dressed as always, with that black and

gold fadora hat to

Tales0fBeauty: with her sword and shield, and bow, and daggers in their

proper places, The mark of her goddess in the form of a snowflake upon her

breast plate, and graced on her right cheek along her cheek bone, in the form

of 5 different

Tesarik Five: go along with his black and gold outfit, fancy was the name of

the game for that man.

scales change: among his more.. out of sight weaponry. Suffice to say Maria

earned an expectant glance.. certainly an explanation would come forthwith..

Tesarik One: but I'm assuming that Pedur and Corda aren't going to just

present themselves for a fair fight. So you're going to probably have to take

out lots of weaker undead to even get close enough to kill them. I haven't

tested these......"

Tales0fBeauty: snowflakes, and the marking of a Knight of the Order of the

Silver Flame on her sheild. Kaldar was slung around her neck like a scarf as

usual. She would look to all that gathered and gave them all a frim nod and

held each ones gaze

Mighty Gar thog: ~The dragon in his small human form had been asleep for a

few weeks now. He remembered gathering that iron, and took a blade, looking

to Maria~

Tales0fBeauty: for a moment, it was a respect thing. (D)

psionic wanderer: Well, while he was busy thinking about what he might need

the dagger for, he also fired up his brain to work a bit more efficiently.

(Spell: Firing All Synapses, +2 to int, +2 hp also due to Mind over Body

skill) "Corda won't be

Tesarik One: she smirked a bit, "but they should take out weaker undead with

ease." ( Ok folks. Basically, for weaker medium sized undead on this quest,

if you make strike with the dagger, it will destroy the undead completely. If

you use it

Tesarik One: for anything else or against something other than undead, it's

just a dagger 1d4. But against mindless to low-intellect medium undead you

can take them out with a successful strike, everyone understand?)

psionic wanderer: "If you want them tested, I could get my robe back out.

More fun to just..see if they work in the middle of a fight though, now isn't

it?" He eyed the others, to see who all was tagging along for this mess.

scales change: Of course the remaining Masters would not go down without a

fight.. mostly done by mindless minions.. or perhaps worse.. the likes of

more sentient Undead such as Montague. " That remains to be seen. " Not that

he doubted Maria..

female variaty. Though when he saw the first person go through the portal he

was right behind, a twirl of that cane given before he stepped right on

this mission, let's share a drink together!" she was flying in circles around

the elf as if she was getting ready for something. " cannot call you

Tesarik One: Maria is handing out Primal Iron Daggers (1d4) before they move

through the portal to what they are expecting to be a battlefield. The

daggers can be used for weaker, medium sized mindless to low-intellect

stupid bird, he'd try and do something about the bonestorm. He stared at it a

healthy and ..well if he hadn't been forming the counter-spin inside the
