The ability to orate is something that comes naturally to a Skald, but that gift falls short if one cannot comprehend nor speak with another. Reaching back through the limitless experience of all the Skald's that came before you, you cure this conciliation. At any time you can tap into the lessons they have learned and speak fluently in any language be it spoken, signed, or secretive. Once per adventure you may look upon one target and speak a simple command (that does not include Die): such as Sit, Attack, Protect, Sleep, Run, etc.. The targets gets a save versus your Diplomacy. If they fail they succumb to your command and must obey for a number of rounds based on rank. Crystal and Topaz: 1 round, Amber and Sapphire: 2 rounds, Emerald and Ruby: 3 rounds, Obsidian: 4 rounds. When you use this power, a small rich blue woad symbol appears on your right hand between thumb and pointer finger.

Primary : Fizzwinken's Threnodic Assault Metallo-Blade
This obsidian blade 1d6 looks as if it is wrapped in very fine, thin strands of mithral and adamantine, and its pommels holds a polished clear crystal. When the owner of this blade begins to swing the blade through the air, the strands unwrap from the blade like the petals of a flower, and begin to dance and pulse in time to the movements of the bearer. The crystal begins to resonate with a melodic tone as it is used. This blade does an extra +2 points of negative damage if the target is alive, or +2 points of positive damage if the target is undead. It retains it's enchantments of Minor Ornate, Blurstrike, and Harmonizing. It is counted as obsidian, mithral and adamantine in combat.

This tattoo is usually done in gold and black ink and has highlights mirroring the leaves of the forest. It is a geometric pattern, thin and light, in a place normally visible to others so that as soon as they are seen, they are recognized as a friend of elves. The most common is on the face, but hands, neck, or arm works as well. This ensures safe passage through elven lands, and lends a +4 to Charisma based rolls with elves, and +2 with fey creatures. It gives a -2 with charisma based rolls to evil sylvan races though, and a -4 against orcs if the tattoo is visible. The bearer of the tattoo can understand, read and speak elven. He also gains low-light vision if he does not have it. The elf friend tattoo is only granted to the most trusted of non-elf allies. If someone with the elf friend tattoo attacks an elf, betrays an elf, spies on elves...they will be hunted down by the agents of the elf that granted the tattoo.

Thick, black, hardened leather bracers that once belonged to King Aaron Hexenthal encompass the forearms and buckle down with ornate silver buckles. Intricate designs bearing the Hexenthal coat of arms remains unchanged, though when these bracers are active a thick layer of shadowstuff covers both arms fully adding dark adamantine pauldrons that fit perfectly upon the shoulders with pulsing crystal shards set three in a line on each bracer. The bracers give an additional +3 defense against both shadow and sonic attacks. When the bracer set is inactive, it appears as a perfectly smooth adamantine ring set with a singing crystal chip. This item takes up the bracer's slot, it does not take up the ring slot even when in ring form. An added benefit is that when in ring or bracer form, when anyone creates music (singing or instrumental) around the wearer, the singing crystals join in with a sweet resonant sound that always adds, but never detracts to the song at hand.
