Tesarik One: So this is Part 3 of clearing out Pedur's Kir'viir crypt - with

the main focus being to find Ophelia who has been missing and was kidnapped

by Pedur the Boneblade Reaper. This "crypt" is more like an elven fortress,

and our first

Tesarik One: time in this area was facing chaturan (constructs) in the form

of a huge chess game in Pedur's courtyard. After the difficult task of

getting rid of the chess constructs, our group retired back to the inne to

regroup momentarily.

Tesarik One: Now the portal is opened to Pedur's fortress, and whoever is

willing to continue to face whatever Pedur has left for them is invited

along. Step through the portal into Kir'viir and let's get going! (Begin RP)

Mighty Gar thog: ~He was in his human form. He saw no sigurd this eve, as he

looked about. With morningstar in one hand and his bow on his back, with the

quiver, and animated shield on the left arm, he was all ready to proceed...

to find

Mighty Gar thog: and face the great Pedur. That necromantic elf must die! He

did, after all, steal away the fair Ophelia~

lustylaughter: She had heard the stories of adventurers and the way they

seemed to just stumble upon gold and treasure! With a bit of charity she had

put together an adventuring kit, that to her mind seemed quite complete. She

was even wearing cl

badgers rage: Naturally, she was completely unaware as to what was going on

.. but she had been busy divesting herself of Maria's pantry - almost

determined to make the redhead regret her open door policy - and while the

portal opened and spewed

RanuIfr: ::Well he was in for a penny, in for a pound sio there he was

making his way through the portal. A quick spell given to boost himself

up,..as well as a few for the fellows running with him.::

badgers rage: out a group of tired adventurers, with another set joining in

and the whole bunch trotting on through well, she had to have a look now

didn't she. Grabbing a hunk of bread and chewing thoughtfully, she'd just

follow the herd into

scales change: For reasons known only to the Black Knight, his presence had

not been known during the overly large chess game in Pedur's courtyard.

Kythin re-emerged in time to meet with those who had during their respite

within the Inne. Natura

lustylaughter: othes this time! huzzah! So she waited for the adventuring

party to return, And once she found out who they were, set right quickly to

begging to be taken along, Promising not to get in the way, and to carry the

bags if she had too.

DaemianBerazalle: The Ranger was seen prowling about with an oddity of

weaponry for a change. Visibly at his hip was the ice chucker, modified and

compacted to launch stakes with the same velocity. Clutched in his left

hand, a bow touching upon

badgers rage: goddess only knew what .. though she wasn't completely without

forethought, clutching the oaken mask pendant around her throat and

channeling a bit of the polecat, which resulted in adding to the blackwork

around her eyes. [ +2

was a fatigue that could be noticed from the man.. though he'd certainly not

going out of his way to bring attention to it. Soon as the others and the

Tesarik One: Maria had decided to ask Falqun, the White Raven Healer along

for the rest of the mission, just in case she was needed. Falqun stood at the

back of the group, waiting until they began heading through the portal, and

then followed

RanuIfr: ::He himself was in that gray fur trimmed cloak, no weapon on hand,

hip or back just the large, circular, mirror like shield that had been slung

upon his back like a tortoise shell. Looking back towards the others he just

tipped his

DaemianBerazalle: ). He paused a moment, deciding now was a good time to

sacrifice what was required to increase his speed, his steps blurring

slightly as he moved once more, just slightly faster than the

12 and moving in a clockwise circle, then pulls the hand back and jabs a fist

lustylaughter: Well Invited or not she wasn't going to miss out on this, So

through the portal she went, her little hand crossbow at the ready, Tail

flagged and almost wagging in anticipation.

RanuIfr: ::Well goina boost that as well,..forgot! As he walked he was

tapping into the more feral nature and if he could have a totem,.the animal

that he more closely tied to so he could sharpen his senses.::

Tesarik Five: Warren had joined up with a group of rather large people, and

because of that, he followed that bigger of the men as he left their little

holding. Sneaking behind him and fluttering about, only to go through the

portal and look

RanuIfr: (Ears of the Wolf / +4 Listen boost / Adventure Duration)

Tesarik One: You all step out of the portal into the now-empty courtyard

that once held the chess pieces. There are squares of grass, some light green

and some dark green but otherwise the canopied courtyard is quiet. There is

an arch in front

Tesarik Five: around quickly. "Oh oh! What are we here for?!" He beamed out

a wide smile while he looked around more. Seeing all the new people, and when

he saw the smallest of the group he blinked. Darting right over to her he

came to fly right

Tesarik One: of you that leads into an entryway of polished wood and marble,

with two trees growing on either side of the entrance. There is a door to the

left, a door to the right, a double door straight ahead and stairs that lead

upwards.

Tesarik Five: in front of Badger. His body bolting from left to right as he

inspected her, never seeing a halfling before, she was different, but in a

good way! She wasn't so big! "Hello!" A rather excitable young fairy he was,

but werent they

Tesarik Five: all?

DaemianBerazalle: He took his time to gather his surroundings, orienting

himself(Know Direction) and stretching slightly, adjusting to the increase in

his speed. He tested the draw of his bow a few times, scanning the clearing

as he spoke, thinking

Tesarik One: The entry way was lit with the same moonglobes as Pedur's other

crypt.

Mighty Gar thog: ~He looked at Hykinx, gave a smile and went over to her,

whispering lowly~ GarThog no know thee. Name, lass?

RanuIfr: ::He looked towards Warren as he flew around,:: t-to retrieve a

woman th-that was kidnapped. ::He watched as the fairy darted off to the

halfling then would look around, shoulder rolled and that shield slid from

the shoulder. As

DaemianBerazalle: out loud more than anything else: "Clear the floor, room

by room . . . at least before heading up is what I'd suggest to be best." He

started heading towards the double doors, remembering not to scoff at

merchants who suggest items

DaemianBerazalle: of interest any longer.

RanuIfr: it slid down that arm some he turned catching the leather grip of

it securing it into place on the right arm as he moved forward and turned his

head left than right.:: *D

badgers rage: She almost smacked him with a half eaten bread roll in

surprise, though managed to restrain herself to merely stepping back a bit as

he flew in her face. "Oi oi oi watch it! Nearly went up my nose there."

Course he did no such

lustylaughter: "I'm Hyjinx! The adventurer!" She said proudly, Puffing out

her yet to mature chest. She wore armor of elven make, clearly beyond her

ability to afford, it was almost scale mail, only woven of soft but strong

leaves. her golden eyes

lustylaughter: gleamed with the fearless thirst for adventure the young and

foolish seemed to have.

badgers rage: thing, but whatever. "Ello." Chewing on her bread again, she'd

look about the place curiously .. she waited though, figuring that it would

be smart for the bigger more tankier members of the party to make the first

move.

Mighty Gar thog: ~He tilted his head and gave a sigh~ Have thee much

experience at fighting,... Hy-Jinx?

Tesarik Five: He blinked at her, but did flutter back just a touch so as to

give her some space. Though when she said he almost went up her nose he gave

a small laugh before shaking his head. "I can't fit up there silly!" With

that said he

scales change: The presumed closeness to the abductee the lot of them had

become to free brought Kythin to a pause. While the rest of them spoke or the

like he eyed his ring of black bone with a re-newed sense of urgency. " She's

dying. " He mur-

lustylaughter: "None at all" She said with a nod. "But I've heard the

stories..and I practiced all day with this" She held up her small hand

crossbow proudly. it looked like it had seen better days.

Tesarik One: The double doors opened up into a long marble hallway lit by

moonglobes. There were more doors, two to the left, and one to the right and

then at the very end of the hallway it turned left and right.

Tesarik Five: reached out his tiny little hand toward her. "I'm Warren." A

firm nod of his head given, though he'd heard what Ranulfr had said, he

seemed a bit distracted by the new thing, that new thing being a person of

course. But he wouldn't

scales change: mured, at first.. prior to turning his head towards Daemian..

the one among them he'd fought alongside enough to know as a warrior. "

Ophelia is nearly dead, we must make haste. " -d

Tesarik Five: let that get in the way of things that needed to be done. And

as the others started to move so did he. Or, more to the point, he found

himself a nice perch atop Badgers shoulder, where he sat down and smiled

more. "So this girl

RanuIfr: ::He was moving alongside Dae and looked down that hallway, he

reached beneath that cloak and summoned to his hand the waraxe. Drawing it

free he rest it across one shoulder.::

Mighty Gar thog: ~He nodded~ May GarThog place an enchantment upon thee, to

grant some small aid? ~he heard Kythin, so was not delaying, in the back

line~

Tesarik Five: we're looking for...How did she go missing? This is a scarey

place to play hide and seek." A little ignorant on the matter, but he didn't

know much about these people yet. -d-

lustylaughter: She followed behind her new friend, "Enchantment? like magic?

oh yes please!" She looked around clapping her paws over her mouth. "yes

sir..please..I love magic"

Mighty Gar thog: ~He called out~ Warren, kidnapped via magic... now proceed

with haste!

Mighty Gar thog: ~He waves one hand in a circle, fingers wide, starting at

badgers rage: "Badger." She'd shake his hand in so much as she could - it

was rather strange being face to face with a sentient creature smaller than

her that wasn't covered in fur, but she could cope. In fact, she rather liked

it, allowing him

badgers rage: his seat until she got annoyed with his presence. "No idea."

Still, not knowing a jot didn't stop her from keeping up with the group as it

moved on.

Tesarik One: So - in the entry way they could go to a door left, or door

right - OR go through the double doors with Dae and Ran who were now in the

long hallway with Door A (left), Door B (right), and Door C (left).

Tesarik Five: One of these days he was going to get swatted away as he never

seemed to ask before he perched himself on someone. But he didn't think it

bothered anyone, after all he was to small to really feel like much more than

a fly. "Oh.

badgers rage: (( badger's following the big guys, and will hang back a

little till they decide which a b or c to go through lol ))

lustylaughter: She would stick close to gar for now, he seemed to know what

he was doing!

Mighty Gar thog: ~He would stay behinf Kythin, as he moved, trying to get

the others to proceed, allowing him to be the chooser of the path~

scales change: If only the ring possessed a much more specific means of

locating Ophelia rather than something so generalized as it happened to be.

Alas he could not fault the enchanter for not expecting something like this..

Tesarik Five: That's a shame." He offered a nod as he let his keen eyes move

about, taking in all the decorations and the doors. He tilted his head some

though as he fiddled with his fingers, not the type to be able to sit still

for to long, he

scales change: .. least without a more justified reason. The issue this

brought to light earned his glare.. in the end Daemian and the Zorcan were

followed if only due to his lack of a more specific path to his beloved. -d

DaemianBerazalle: He looked over to Kythin with a grin, his head covered in

a metallic cap(Steel-mind Cap), an oddity on the Ranger for certain. He

tapped his nose as he grinned to the man. "If she's nearby, I'll know. The

nose always knows."

Tesarik One: Falqun followed along as well, hands behind her back, as she

watched over the group more than deciding where to go. Maria had sent her to

try and keep everyone alive, so that's what she was focusing on.

Tesarik Five: wondered just what the plan was. "Oh, but it is very nice to

meet you Badger. I knew a badger once! He was a cranky thing, always trying

to bite me." Of course he was talking about a real animal at this point.

RanuIfr: ::He glanced back towards Kythin,::do you have anything th-that

belongs t-to her on your person,..perhaps with a scent? ::Brow arched some as

the winter blue eyes locked to the man, eyebrow remained arched.::

lustylaughter: Well, she had a really good sniffer! But she had no idea who

she was sniffing FOR!

RanuIfr: If so we might have a t-trick we could use that the little one,::a

nod towards Badger,:;or th-the other with fur might be able to track if she

is here. *D

DaemianBerazalle: He had really just begun sniffing around, quite literally

. . . deep inhales of breath being taken. He caught something reminiscent of

her, in the wind . . . "She's definitely somewhere here."

Mighty Gar thog: ~He looked at Falqun~ Have any magic from da gods to aid in

da locating?

RanuIfr: Or,..::he thumbed towards Dae,:;he might be able to. ::He gave a

grin looking towards Dae.::

scales change: That fully depended upon whether or not he still possessed

whatever it was that had carried Ophelia's scent in Pedur's Tower in far off

Kullyr! Even if not.. he knew her scent! The Zorcan's mention only serving to

spur the Knight to

scales change: actually taking a more focused attemot to catch the scent of

the Spellsinger. [ Skill: Scent ... don't recall any rolls being attached

so... ]

Tesarik One: "I am a healer, not a priest, I only have limited magic. It

seems those with her scent would do better than the length it would take me

to use a spell to scry upon her. But I will if needed."

lustylaughter: "Oh! You need something sniffed?" She scampered to the front

and the one mentioning scent, she tapped her snout with a paw. "The nose

knows!"

Tesarik One: You can definitely smell Ophelia in this place. She has been in

the very area where you stand in the hallway, and the scent is the strongest

towards Door A.

DaemianBerazalle: He pulled an arrow free of the quiver, nocking it to his

bow and readying it as he continued moving forward. He put out all of his

senses, forcing them to work over time as he relied on all of them to aid him

in this search(

DaemianBerazalle: Scent, Darksight, Blindsense).

Tesarik One: Door A is just a simple polished wooden door to the left.

RanuIfr: ::He blinked to the scampering one and pointed towards Kythin.::If

he has anything it seems a scent has been found,::and he rolled the waraxe in

hand turning looking towards Dae as the arrow came out.::Which way? ::He had

no problem

RanuIfr: playing meat shield.::

badgers rage: "Yeh they can be .. if you forget to bribe them." She'd

scratch the side of her head absently, just watching and waiting for the time

being.

scales change: " That way. " Whether or not he should really trust those

senses or not.. he motioned to the door in question and started in that

direction without further wasting of time. By this time he'd drawn Ardent

from its sheath and his

Mighty Gar thog: ~Normally he was opposed to the idea of splitting up, but,

this needed more speed, so he started by choosing the door on the left, and

opening it, by the knob~

scales change: shield from his back.. because honestly.. he expected to run

into Pedur first. But expectations had a way of being easily shattered these

badgers rage: And she'd follow, shaking her boot to dislodge the spider who

was in the process of building a twenty floor apartment block.

RanuIfr: ::He was right behind Kythin moving forward, hey they could make a

damn good shieldwall between the two of them. Axe shifted to a shorter grip.

position that would give him a good line of firing, knowing his training

extended far enough to allow him to time his shots to his allies'

lustylaughter: Well, seeing she didn't seem to be needed she was right back

at gars side, just behind his right side.

Tesarik One: Kythin motioned to the door, Gar grabbed the same door and

opened it. Lucky for them, there was no trap on this door. It opened up into

what looked to be a posh living area. There were two hearths, one on either

side of the long

Tesarik Five: He gave her a bit of a nod of his head. "They like sweets. Do

you like sweets? He always wanted a honey chip from me." He huffed at that,

as if giving the badger a honey chip was some huge trouble. Well, sometimes

it was, when you

Tesarik One: room. Couches, and exquisite but very heavy wooden chairs were

placed around the area, and the rugs in the room which had the furniture upon

it looked extremely well made and expensive. There were two doors off the

back area, and

Tesarik Five: were the same size as the treat.

Tesarik One: the walls were painted much like the tower's walls. Pedur was a

man of fine taste it seemed. Ophelia's scent was strong in here, and the

scent would lead to the second door within this living room.

Mighty Gar thog: ~He moved aside, to allow Kythin to enter first with Dae,

to try and follow the scent~

badgers rage: "... do you have sweets?" She eyed the fae slyly as she moved

through the door, somehow managing to split her attention between her

stomachs avarice and the general location. Not noting any sweets in the

expensive looking room,

badgers rage: she'd soon lose interest and focus on the honey-chip-hoarding

bloke on her shoulder while following the leaders on autopilot.

RanuIfr: ::Well he didn't have a scent or sniffer so he stood looking towards

Kythin. Fingers tightened again on the leather, thumbnail scraping along the

supple strap he gripped.::

way through the door.. and promptly towards where the scent led him next.

There was a single-minded determination to the man to say the least..

Tesarik Five: Normally he'd be off in a hurry to inspect this new room for

all it's wonders. But the halfling that was his current ride actually had him

rather entertained. Though her asking if he had any sweets he looked to the

side, as if

lustylaughter: Well, Curiosity was certainly getting the best of her, so

into the room she crept, Keeping close to gar, but touching everything!

Anything small enough to be pocketed, was.

DaemianBerazalle: "Don't forget to proceed with a bit more caution. He

arranged the greeting he did already. Keep that in mind." He spoke up,

advice for any who wanted to take it. He was planning to proceed with more

caution, inspecting what he

Tesarik Five: nervious that she might try and take his stash away, though

reaching down into his tiny little pouch he pulled out a spec of gold.

Motioning for her to hold out her hand he laid it down in her palm before

poking it with a tiny

Tesarik One: The door opened into a bedroom, equally as posh as the living

room with a poster bed in the middle and various other accoutrements. No

windows, though. Upon the bed was the body of Ophelia. The bedsheets were

stained with blood,

Tesarik Five: little finger, making the honey chip grow to it's full size.

The name said it all really, it was a piece of honey, thin, semi rounded, and

roughly the size of a chip. "Just because I like you!" He smiled with a

beaming smile to her

Tesarik One: and her body was clearly wounded. Only by Kythin's linked ring

was he to know she was still alive for to all the others she'd certainly look

dead. Something was definitely wrong, and no matter how much healing they

pumped into her,

Tesarik One: she would not awaken for the time being, as if she were hanging

by a mere thread of life and undeath and death.

RanuIfr: ::He trailed after Kythin ignoring the room for the time begin.

That axe remained braced over his shoulder. Stepping into the room and a

frown crossed his features turning to look around.:: *D

Mighty Gar thog: ~He moved closer, then saw the body. He moved in quickly,

seeing if there was anything he could do to aid her, looking over the wound,

and examining the area, as well~ (Any knowledge check?)

Tesarik Five: before he leaned in to whisper. "Shhh. It's a seceret." And

then he blinked as he caught sight of the woman on the bed, blood stained

sheets. Popping up quickly onto his feet his eyes darted around as he looked

for trouble. "Not a

earlyer statement obviously.

DaemianBerazalle: He took in the scene, using all of his will to refrain

from reacting to all the blood presented before him. His eyes flashed

crimson for a brief moment, though he only shook his head, wracking his

memories for anything that might

badgers rage: "Uh ... " She peered down at her palm and blinked a little as

her stomach growled. "I .. I can't accept this. You keep it." She didn't even

have to exercise any willpower, the treat was simply too small to make an

that did not match up with the link of the rings. Knowing little of Pedur's

particular magics beyond what necromancy could obviously do.. he rushed to

Ophelia.. quite without

kindness." She grinned a little; though the expression faltered as they

entered the new room. Well. That was different.

Tesarik One: Falqun pushed past them all when she heard that the woman had

been found. She would offer a rezz if needed, but finding that did nothing

she instead offered healing to her to at least keep her from dying if

possible. She looked over

lustylaughter: She kept close to gar, staring wide eyed at the apparently

dead or dying woman. "Umm..I..don't know what to do.."

scales change: heed of any possible traps that may have been in the way.

What more could a man that could only heal himself do but lift the form and

drop his ear to her chest in hopes of hearing a heartbeat in case some spell

was tricking the

Tesarik One: her wounds, and then wrapped her in the cleanest bedclothes.

"We need to take her out of this place. The evil here is overwhelming despite

the beauty surrounding us."

Tesarik One: (For now, no Knowledge allowed, I will leave that up to Becca

when she plays Ophelia and decides what people can or can't know)

there to do but turn to the healers present. " Save her. " A demand to be

certain.. even though the Knight himself carefully laid Ophelia back down in

RanuIfr: ::A single nod was given agreeing that they should leave. Turning

his head back to the door to make sure nothing was seen rushing for them.::

Tesarik One: Falqun would do all she could, even to the point of her own

detriment for that is what the White Ravens did. When she'd healed her as

much as possible though it did nothing for the apparent "sleep" she was in,

she picked the woman

scales change: and shield. " I'll have that elf's head.. I swear it. " He

growled, the only thing keeping his feet planted no doubt his waiting for the

healers to do what they could.-d

DaemianBerazalle: "If the Healer says we need her out of here to heal her, I

say we listen. I'm going to head back out and be ready to cover your

withdrawal." With that, he gave a simple nod of his head, stepping back into

the hall and taking up

DaemianBerazalle: position inside the front door of the house, keeping an

eye on things outside.

Mighty Gar thog: GarThog tinks... Pedur has enspelled her. And, only his

death will aid in returning her spirit to her body!

Tesarik One: up in her arms and turned from the bed. "I will take her to the

hospital. Do as Maria said and check this entire place for signs of Pedur,

and any undead."

Tesarik One: She moved past them all and back towards the portal, carrying

the wounded Ophelia out and back to the inne where she could find further

healing.

alas not all their names came to mind. " Come with me .whoever will come .

we've an elf to bring to justice. "-d

Tesarik One: Besides Ophelia there is nothing of note in the Bedroom you are

in. There is another bedroom next door, but there is nothing of note in there

either.

RanuIfr: Gladly,::a single nod and there was a crack of a grin. Yeah finding

Pedur would be something of interest, turning he was moving out and glanced

towards Dae giving a nod. Turning slowly he glanced around the area.::

Mighty Gar thog: ~He nodded. For a change, he and Kythin had the same desire

feuling them. He was ready to kill!~

badgers rage: Well, it was something to do, and may help her work up a

greater appetite in order to strip Maria's pantry bare, so she'd follow along

when they made their move out of the place.

DaemianBerazalle: He nodded as he guarded Falqun, escorting her to the

Portal and then returning to join the group, flitting back through the

shadows as soon as he was close enough to one to do so(Shadow Walk).

Tesarik Five: "Nope. It's yours now." He gave her a firm nod as she tried to

offer the honey chip back. Though the others were taken in, and seeing the

healer take the seemingly dead woman back through the portal he sighed a

little. "So sad. She

might be interesting.

Tesarik Five: was so young." Yeah, like the fairy could talk about young.

Once Badger had taken them both back into the living room he finally lifted

up, his wings fluttering as he started to fly about, hearing the others, even

if he didn't look

she could dart back into the main group whenever necessary, and split herself

head.. or .. remove it post-haste. The latter was so much more fulfilling..

Kythin, urging him forwards, he was nearly bumping into him now~

she stuffed them into her pocket, making a mental note to speak with gar.

Whom she now turned to search for.

Tesarik One: Door B was not trapped... she'd enter a dining room. It was

mostly taken up by a massive dining table that could seat at least 14 people.

No windows again in the room. A large china cabinet held fine china, and

glassteel chandeliers

Tesarik Five: When his new friend started off out the room he blinked and

then reached out, as if that would stop her, before he flew after her as

quickly as he could. "Hold on! Don't go running off alone, it's not a good

idea!" And right into

Tesarik One: fiited with moonglobes hung from the ceiling. The food she

smelled came from a door to the side which led into a kitchen and pantry!

There was another door on the opposite wall, that led into a Parlor.

scales change: There wasn't much direction-filled leading Kythin could do..

without a scent to follow.. he was subject to aimless wandering just as much

as anyone else! Despite such a simple fact.. he took the most obvisous path

until the crypt

DaemianBerazalle: He moved on to the next door on the list, or was about to

til he saw Badger moving before he had a chance to. He followed her in, not

wanting to split up from the group too much.

badgers rage: A massive diningroom with a massive table .. surely meant

there would be an equally massive kitchen stocked with a massive pantry!

Sniffing again, she'd lick her lips and push her way through into the

kitchen, eyes gleaming as they

scales change: was cleared or they had Pedur in their sights. What mattered

was.. well he was on the move soon as the lot of them fell into line! -d

badgers rage: darted around in search of something tasty.

Tesarik Five: that dining room he went behind her, suddenly skidding to a

stop in the air as the glinting of the shiny things in there. "Ooo. That's

pretty." He smiled even more, fluttering up to a few of the shiney things,

looking them over more

Tesarik One: A well stocked kitchen, definitely Pedur lived in this crypt

because he had it stocked with all manner of food items. Breads, sweets,

veggies, fruits, and in the pantry all sorts of jams and jellies, root

vegetables, wines, and

Tesarik Five: while he was distracted once again from his task at hand.

RanuIfr: ::He narrowed his eyes hearing the tapping he was turning and

stalking that direction now. Hand raised, a slight motion as if tapping with

a finger before motioning toiwards the door to the parlor.::

Tesarik Five: Hearing that tapping he tilted his head and flew over to it.

Grabbing the handle he then groaned, struggling as it was to pull that door

open. Being tiny it wasn't easy to open those things. "Uuuuuugh!" He huffed,

DaemianBerazalle: He motioned to Ran as he started moving towards the door,

wanting someone to follow him in. He placed the arrow back in the quiver,

bow held in his left hand still as he walked up to the door, bracing for a

trap to trigger at any

DaemianBerazalle: time as he neared.

Mighty Gar thog: ~Then, a maddening cackle, just to torment the dragon in

human form~

Tesarik One: So far, so good!

badgers rage: "Y'know that's kinda irritatin..." Sweeping up some goodies in

her arms, she made her way into the dining room while stuffing her face, just

to see what all the fuss was about ..

Tesarik One: Badger was eatin fancy tonight, she found all sorts of

delicious things!

Tesarik One: Yet still, tapping.

DaemianBerazalle: He approached the door, giving the handle a test to see if

it was locked. If it was unlocked, he gave a 1, 2, 3 count before opening

the door and stepping back as he did so to keep a clear line of fire.

badgers rage: Her eye twitched, mouth full of some

eaten-too-fast-to-be-identified-fruit. If someone didn't open that door soon

scales change: Kythin set to following if only in order to have a barrier

between him and immediate and hasty action. He did not care to have another

case of bifurcating infants due to waking up with undeath-afflicted babies

and something worse

Tesarik Five: He got out of the way, fluttering up next to Daemian as he

pulled his tiny little bow from his back, and drew an equal tiny little arrow

from his quiver before he held it up. "I have you covered.." He nodded, as if

he was supposed

raising that shield some incase it was needed while he stood somewhat between

the others and the open doorway.::

do so. Inside the parlor was a very plush and fancy looking room, with

Tesarik One: some bookshelves and a hearth that was lit, and more

moonglobes. There was a creature sitting on one of the chairs, legs crossed,

with a sword cane in hand tapping it over and over again on the polished

wooden floor. "Well then,

Tesarik One: finally. I've been waiting for you since you were facing the

chaturani." The creature pushed himself up, he stood about six feet tall and

had on a dapper top hat, black leather armor and a fine black longcoat on

with gloves. When he

Tesarik One: gazed over at them though... they'd all notice that he was a

skeleton, not a bit of flesh upon him, though a dapper gentleman he was.

"Shall we, then?" He unsheathed his sword cane and bowed to them.

DaemianBerazalle: He avoided that one with nothing but a simple display of

inhuman speed, though he definitely took note of the disturbance in the air

that it was achingly close. He had another arrow drawn, nocked and pulled to

full draw as he heard

only - rose upwards from where they'd been curled up behind the couch and

hopped over the couch

badgers rage: Ooooh. Now if she didn't have a seething hatred for the undead

due to the messing-up-of-the-natural-balance thing they tended to do, she'd

be rather impressed with a skeleton all dressed up smartly in a dapper hat

and cane. As

Tesarik One: and began to bite at the group. "That's better. Now then..."

Lord Montagu the Necropolitan lunged forward towards Dae, striking at him

with his blade.

just flashed that grin and drew back on the bow once more, firing the arrow

do with the woman Pedur brought here's condition? And if not.. have you any

loyalty to the elf? "

turning a presumed Nobleman, albiet an undead one, to his side.. or at least

remove him from the board without too much violence.. this time. " If not..

DaemianBerazalle: Well, if Dae was a mind reader, he'd point out he was

attacked first but it was all for naught either way.

he wanted, and so he reaped her as he tends to do when he gets...distraught.

stories... shall we sit down and tell stories? Have a glass of wine? We can

save our duel for later, I imagine."

Tesarik One: The two dogs barked and began to move forward, skeletal claws

digging at the wooden floor.

scales change: Kythin pursed his lips as the dapper Necroplitan gave the

answer he sought ableit with more information than suspected of him. " She is

my betrothed, Lord Montagu, Pedur abducted her. As an honorable man you must

know what I have ]

We may have our duel at a later time.. but I must act as honor demands.. for

her sake and mine. " Though true.. there was a lot of anger over the

abduction and what had

scales change: been done to Ophelia pent up within.. and it was certainly a

struggle not to include the skeleton in his vendetta as well. -d

Tesarik One: "Oh. Oh my! Well, that does change things." He sunk down into

his chair again, and called the dogs over to him. They moved and sat down,

nuzzling his free hand. "There there, hush now pups." His attention went to

the group again. "I

later time. As for Pedur, the last I saw him, he was heading for his Library

mumbling about a meeting with the Masters. There, just on the other side of

this room is the

Tesarik One: Library. You can reach it in the entry hall. Be careful, he

guards it with Shadows."

DaemianBerazalle: He slid the bow into his quiver, returning the second

arrow he'd drawn as well. He'd wanted his hands free for this fight, seeing

the opponent, but he worked with what he had at hand. He studied his Quarry,

one of the many facets

see just fine in here, and peered about.

Tesarik One: It was a two story library, with shelves that went up high to

the ceiling and a small balcony around to get to the higher shelves.

lustylaughter: "Wow..so many books" She muttered. Looking here and there.

DaemianBerazalle: He headed into the room first, the limitations on vision

not hindering him in the least. He put those wings of his to use, ascending

slowly and calling out the layout of the room to his allies that needed the

assistance.

Tesarik One: As Ran lit up the room, there were areas that just would not be

lit. Corners in the room, and areas behind some of the furniture where the

Shadows hid.

Tesarik One: In the very center of the room, drawn upon a rug, was an arcane

circle. Much like the circle in the top of the Tower, and in one of the other

crypts they'd found.

Tesarik One: The shadows in the room moved away from Gar, moving to the

furthest corners, until one of them flickered and stepped out of Badger's own

shadow and clawed down her body with it's incorporeal touch attack.

being Vampiric and all,..so yeah keep it angled more away.::
