Youkou:
Caltrop Boots [Feet]
These knee-high black leather boots have prominent and irregularly shaped heels which seem to bulge from the rest of the shoe. Once per combat, the boots’ wearer can cause the boots to let loose a spray of caltrops through the back of the heels as he moves during the remainder of his round. These caltrops fill a 6 foot area behind the wearer. Any creature, including the wearer, who steps into the area is forced to roll an Acrobatics Check DC15, if they fail they trip and fall and lose one turn of combat righting themselves. Once produced, these caltrops remain in existence until removed.

Headband of the Winter Wolf [Head]
Crafted of pale bone or silver, this headband features a snarling wolf’s head centered on the wearer’s forehead. The wearer gains defense against cold based attacks of +5 DEF. Once per day, the wearer may transform into a Large white-furred wolf for 10 minutes or one full combat. In addition, once per day the wearer may breathe a 30-foot cone of cold that deals 1d6 points of cold damage. The wearer may use this breath weapon even when transformed.


Scout:
Whip of Life and Death [Weapon]
This specialized whip (1d3)is constructed out of incredibly thin, interwoven strands of mithral and adamantine. When it is used to attack, it makes an unnerving buzzing sound not unlike a cloud of startled flies taking flight from a ripe corpse. When a whip of life and death strikes a creature, the creature suffers an additional +2 points of negative energy damage (if the target is alive) or +2 points of positive energy damage (if the target is undead).
Adamantine Spider Amulet [loot for killing shot to Xallural]
Upon killing the illithid Xallural, the amulet around her neck could be obtained. It controls the adamantine construct spider. It is 4 feet long. It has a bite of 1d4 and can be used to administer poisons through its bite. It works with the Companion skill rules as far as it's dice and hit points. It's defense is +15 DEF (adamantine body) and DR 5/adamantine. If it is destroyed, an engineer can repair it.

Once per adventure, when you claim use of the Deflect Arrows skill, you may choose to reflect the arrow back to the back to the target instead of simply evading damage, causing them to take the damage instead of you.


Sadlin:
Spellbound Shifting Braid [Head]
(Shapeshifting Skill, Magical or Psionic Affinity)
Shifter braids are worn braided into one's own hair, taking the head slot. Their magic does not trigger until worn by a shapeshifter who has shifted. Once triggered, the effects of the magic last until the shifter stops his shifting ability. This braid allows the shifter to choose one spell embedded into the braid that casts automatically when they shift. If shifting occurs during combat, the spell casting does not take up the round to cast, you may make other actions or attacks. You must choose which spells is attached to this braid when you take this item.

Affected creatures resume their normal appearances if slain. This gives a +10 to any Disguise Checks made to keep up the appearance you've chosen. True seeing sees through this item's magic.

Amulet of Bullet Protection [Neck] (Worn by Drow Fighter)
This amulet, usually crafted from the splintered remains of spent firearm bullets shaped into a rough holy symbol or clover, grants the wearer a bonus of +2 to their Defense DC once per combat, against firearm attacks.

the gypsies. As we have a new gypsy, Youkou, I'm going to allow her to attend

tonight as though she's been following along all this time.

Tesarik One: Ok! So over the past two sessions we've tracked the drow into

the Endless Caverns. Remember they have begun raids on the nearby keren

village, and the gypsies agreed to hunt them down and free the keren that

they have already

Tesarik One: captured. We are picking up right after we've killed several

drow fighters and rangers. One of the drow was attempting to rush away down

one of the passageways but was stopped and killed before he could go warn

anyone. We know there

Tesarik One: are more drow, and we know there is a huge metallic spider

along with what appears to be a 6'3" drow female we have not found yet.

(Begin RP)

Cloaked Fists: He'd claimed one of the cloaks from the fallen Drow, wrapping

it around his shoulders after helping to drag the bodies to some place that

wasn't in the middle of the cave's walking path. He kept fiddling with it,

making sure it

Mighty Gar thog: Oh, who shall need so the rest of us can follow? ~he said

looking about at the others, snake wrapped about his arm, with the medicine

stick in hand~

OnlineHost: scales change has left the room.

Cloaked Fists: wouldn't hinder him as they progressed, while hoping it would

do a little to help him blend in. He wasn't banking much on that last part,

but one could hope! He looked among the gathering, checking to see that all

were still

Cloaked Fists: present and safe and sound while waiting for Scout to pick up

the trail they would follow once more.

Mighty Gar thog: er, lead, that is...

psionic wanderer: Blending in wasn't much of a great objective when they

seemed to be locked in fights to the death with all these jackasses! Scout

was the one with the good nose, so he'd wait for her to lead on, he just made

sure all of his gear was

psionic wanderer: still ready to go.

Kitsune Youkou: ~She had quite the nose on her and though she hadnt been

along till now she had followed the scents, and somehow joined up with the

rest of the group. Shifting up from the small fox form to her human form she

looked around.~ eep

Tesarik Five: There was a bit of a sigh given as the dead were dead, and the

living still lived. He didn't like dark places like this, the underground, it

just didn't do right for him. Took all the pretty out of everything. None the

less he

Kitsune Youkou: Scary ~now taking in the surroundings she was wondering why

she had picked up the scent and followed. Pressing her hands to her mouth as

she looked around. She had only recently found herself among another gypsy

family so she didn't

Kitsune Youkou: really know anyone all that well, and boy was this a bad

place for getting to know you sort of thing.~ (D)

Mighty Gar thog: ~He saw a fox wander up, then enlarge... into a woman. The

day had brightened for him!~ Why hello. who are you?

Tesarik Five: made sure everyone was still in one piece before brushing his

hands over his clothes, getting the imaginary dust off of them, though the

new woman was seen and that drew a wide smile from the Aasimar man. "Well

hello." Anytime was a

Tesarik One: She'd gone through the pockets of those that fell and found

nothing that important, so she rose and gave a good sniff. After all, she'd

seen the one drow heading down this one passageway and she could smell the

others down that way.

Tesarik Five: good time to get to know someone, as far as he was concerned.

Kitsune Youkou: ~Well this was better and she straightened smiling now

herself as the two gentleman greeted her~ Hello! I followed everyones scent

here! If I can help I will! (D)

Tesarik One: She was of course still in combat mode, so when she heard a new

voice, she turned around with her sword ready and advanced upon the woman. A

stranger just appearing while they were deep within the caverns was not in

her mind a

Tesarik One: friendly thing to do, so she had to make sure this wasn't

another threat. "Who are you and where did you come from?"

Mighty Gar thog: Ah, but your name, your nsame to sweeten the air.

Tesarik One: "And how the hell did you have our scent?" She stared with

narrowed eyes at the woman, her blade ready to hack her head off.

Mighty Gar thog: ~thought he asked in a nicer way than Scout~

Phral Jastima: ::He turned hearing the voice and had to chuckle softly

moving from his spot near where the bodies were kicked off then was moving

forward. Drow scimitars tucked into the shadows beneath the overcoat, though

one kukri came to rest

Cloaked Fists: A polite bow of his head given to the newcomer. He didn't

fawn all over the women like some, but he was still polite enough to

acknowedge one's presence, even in the deep, dark unknown. He said nothing

for the time being, the

psionic wanderer: Oh goodness. He nocked na arrow and spun to eye this new

person creeping up on them in the caverns, and even drew it back and held it,

eyes narrowing a little. This was certainly an unusual situation.

Kitsune Youkou: ~As she was advanced on and the woman had a weapon she

shifted to the small fox darted between the first mans legs (Gar) and spun

around shifting back to human holding her hands up~ I am Youkou, I recently

joined the caravan your

Kitsune Youkou: scents are all over the wagons I am sorry!! (D)

Cloaked Fists: majority of his focus staying on keeping his neck on his own

shoulders, moving to step in between the growing tension. Still a newcomer

himself, so he spoke only loud enough to be heard just above a whisper.

"Let's not fight

Phral Jastima: on Scout's blade.::She probably followed mine,::he gave a

small grin before looking over giving a nod towards Youkou. That kukri slid

off the larger blade and was spun, the curved spine resting along his inner

forearm moving forward

Cloaked Fists: amongst ourselves . . . not here, at least?" He phrased it

as a question to try and keep the tension light, looking between the hostile

intentions.

Tesarik One: This was exactly why the DM had said she should have been along

the whole time! But, what's done was done, and now they had to figure it out!

She stared down at the woman as she shifted into a fox and sniffed the air.

"You wish to

Tesarik Five: Oh silly Scout. Treatening the new pretty thing. Though a brow

lifted at her actions he really couldn't fault her for it. "Now now. We have

dark skinned ones to kill." Well, they did. Sadlin didn't do to much of the

killing.

Phral Jastima: giving a nod,::she is good people. ::He was as he moved

forward touchng his chest a moment working a little magic to get things going

with a bit of self boosting.:: (Cat's Grace +2 Qck boost)

Tesarik One: join our caravan?" She glanced over to Bryce and frowned. "We

are not fighting amongst ourselves...I am questioning a stranger."

Tesarik One: Spell noted.

Tesarik One: The tracks were easy enough to follow if one could see in the

dark caverns, leading down the passageway the one drow had attempted to run

down.

Cloaked Fists: At Scout's reply he gave a nod of his head, trying to not

make too many waves. Treading the waters was tough enough as it was,

dropping back a bit to not intrude in the matter further at the moment.

Kitsune Youkou: ~She heard her name and turned seeing the man she had met

the other night Jabal. She wanted to hide behind him but well she wanted to

stand her own~ yes ~she whispered~ I wish to join your caravan. (D)

psionic wanderer: "And the fact that she's a stranger means we have no way

of knowing that she isn't working with the dark-skinned ones, no?" Said to

Sadlin, primarily, but..really everyone since they all seemed rather casual

about a new person

psionic wanderer: rolling up on them in the middle of a cave.

Tesarik One: She frowned, what the devil was wrong with all these idiot

males? Did they not learn from the unseelie nymph that just because it was a

pretty female did NOT mean that it was a friend? She was getting fed up with

these men, but as

Mighty Gar thog: Well, Bryce joined us a short time ago, and I just before

him. I say, let her prove herself against the darkies...

Tesarik One: Jabal had claimed to know her, she pointed to him. "You keep a

watch on her then. All we need is someone trying to join us in the midst of

combat, only to put a knife in our backs while we fight. I don't fucking care

how pretty they

Tesarik One: are." She said 'idiots' in Feral, and then turned and began

heading down the passageway - quietly.

Mighty Gar thog: ~He tried to keep up with Scout and whispered to her~ You

still look gorgeous to me.

Tesarik Five: Oh, Sadlin knew better than to just trust anyone. But that

didn't mean that you couldn't at least be polite. Though Scout wasn't as

quick to those things in these types of situations as he was. The truth was

they didn't know

psionic wanderer: "Agreed. Mid-combat is not the correct time to be trusting

of strangers." He relaxed his draw on that arrow, however, and tucked the

arrow back into his quiver, then followed Scout.

Phral Jastima: ::He gave a bow of his head then chuckled to the idiots

comment,:;well now shall we be on our way to find this drow and put an end to

wandering around in these caves? ::Brow arched and he glanced towards Youkou

and winked before

Tesarik One: She turned and stared at Wesh with darkened eyes, and growled

at him, then turned and began moving softly again. Not like it mattered, she

was sure they knew they were there.

Cloaked Fists: He followed when it was time to follow, more than easily

catching the reference to being an idiot. He'd just stay quiet for the time

being, keeping his senses(blindsense) on their surroundings.

Phral Jastima: turning and was moving on forward the kukris slid beneath the

overcoat and held there before moving forward. A quick snap of fingers had

the violin in hand, the bow resting to the side of his neck.:: *D

Tesarik Five: anything about the woman, and thus, couldn't say if she was

good or bad. So he would just hope for the good, and watch for the bad. Never

the less as Scout started off he followed right behind. His eyes drifting

about, using his

Tesarik Five: improved, at least in darkness, vision make sure nothing snuck

up on them. At least that was the plan. Hadn't worked so far though.

Kitsune Youkou: ~She blinked then lowered her eyes, ok she was foolish to

think she could help with whatever everyone was doing that had been keeping

them away. She would have to proove that she was not bad,..and not helping

whatever the darkies

Kitsune Youkou: were they were talking about. She kept up silently now not

wanting to seem like a creeper or something~ (D)

Tesarik One: Just to be on the safe side, she quaffed another darksight

potion so it wouldn't run out, and continued onward in the dark following the

scents and tracks of the drow that had marched through here before.

Tesarik One: DC15 - You all hear talking, and some quiet sobbing ahead.

psionic wanderer: Oh good, talking and sobbing! That was always wonderful to

hear. He tilted his head a bit, then leaned in to whisper to Scout.

Phral Jastima: ::While he wandered along he was enhancing himself once more

incase it was needed,..allowing his vision to sharpen in the darkness.::

Cloaked Fists: He hadn't picked up on what alerted some of the others, but

he noted the whispering being done, opting to play it safe and wait and see

what would unfold. He shook his hands to keep his fingers loose, the blood

flowing.

Tesarik One: She stopped, hearing the talking and sobbing up ahead, and

glanced behind her to the others making a motion to pause a moment. Then she

got the whisper so she leaned over to listen to Bowen, and slipped him one of

her potions. She

Mighty Gar thog: ~Seeing Bowen coming up, he whispered~ Something up?

Tesarik One: moved to the edge of the cavern and leaned her back against it,

looking to the others again, and whispering softly, "There is noise up ahead.

Should we just rush in, or attempt to see how many before we rush into it?

Kitsune Youkou: ~In the back she didn't hear anything but she noticed

something going on, biting her lower lip she tilted her head some inching

forward a tiny bit~

Tesarik One: difference how many?" She smirked.

psionic wanderer: He was already up with Scout, he didn't 'come up' at all!

He also gave Wesh the "Did it look like I was talking to you?" look, since

he'd been whispering to Scout! He downed the potion that was offered, and was

ready to answer that

psionic wanderer: question before it was answered. (Darkvision potion from

Scout!) Once he could see better, he crept towards the sounds to try and have

a sneaky peek.

Phral Jastima: :::He moved forward tilting his head some looking towards

Scout,::I could slip around there and see how many there are and where they

are positioned at.

Tesarik Five: He could hear things up ahead, and it was enoughf or him to

stop just a bit behind Scout before he looked to her, offering a small shake

of his head. "With you, no. It doesn't much matter the numbers. You just hack

them down, I'll

Mighty Gar thog: <w> Just let me know before we attack. I want to summon my

special aid!

Tesarik Five: keep you standing." Words whispered just loud enough for the

group to hear, but hopefully not so much so the Drow could.

sight, since the ranger bonus gives him silent walking!)

Cloaked Fists: He'd not been involved with the group much so far, and his

skills really were only passable at best in terms of stealth. "I'll do

whatever is required of me

Cloaked Fists: , when it is required. Til then, knowing the numbers before

diving headlong won't hurt much." He responded as quietly as he was able,

ready to move whatever was decided.

psionic wanderer: He surveyed the situation for a moment, crouched there,

then shifted back and gestured to the others in commonsign. "5 of them in

there and 7 prisoners. I'm going to try and even that out a bit." And then he

crept back into position

psionic wanderer: and eyed the cavern they were in, finding an apporpriate

wall nearabouts one of the exit tunnels. He drew back an arrow then and let

fly, aiming it to ricochet back and hit one of the fighters, and with any

luck lead them all to

psionic wanderer: believe the attack was coming from a different tunnel!

Tesarik One: The fighter drow he hit fell to the ground, dead. That got

things moving, and without a sound but with a movement of her hand Xallural

(the tall woman) motioned towards the opposite passageway for them to go and

see what was going

Tesarik One: on down there. The keren in the wooden cages moved forward,

peeking out, and two drow fighters ran down the tunnels away from the area,

leaving what looked like only one ranger with Xallural.

psionic wanderer: He moved out of the way then and gestured for them to move

on in and attack while the attacking was good, pulling another arrow from his

quiver after his gesture.

one of the fighter's neck.

then it stopped, and he was there with his foot in his mouth. He just looked

around, finding something to occupy himself with. He chuckled softly, a roll

checklist in his mind, looking the group they'd just rescued, addressing

them. "Are there more than just yourselves that need rescuing?"

Mighty Gar thog: ~He tapped the wooden cages, looked over the bodies... then

took the ilithids head~ We should stuff this and mount it on the wagon.

psionic wanderer: Well considering he wasn't dead, webbed up or poisoned he

figured it'd be alright to poke at the thing some more later. He stood up and

then moved around to pick up the few arrows he'd fired. He looked at Wesh

merely skittered around a little to be closer to Scout.

mounted onto the wagons, it doesn't exactly send a good message."

Tesarik One: The illithid's head had two treasures on it.... two rings

fitted onto two tentacles.

Cloaked Fists: He just looked to Wesh hearing that, shaking his head gently.

"Thank the good gods my skills are kept in keeping wagons and the beasts that

pull them in repair, not in taxidermy. You're an odd button, aren't you?"

He examined

Tesarik One: "You can stuff it and mount it on YOUR wagon Wesh, but people

already hate us enough, to see us roll through town with a damn head on our

wagons."

Tesarik One: The keren said they were the only ones.

Kitsune Youkou: ~She grimaced hearing the whole head stuffing mounting

thing,..her eyes lifted watching the others. ~

Mighty Gar thog: ~Then, took the ilithids foot, to drag the body back~ Fine,

Cloaked Fists: what there was to be seen of the fella(Fighter1) he'd

finished off, too caught up in his worry over the spider when they'd told him

that before.

Mighty Gar thog: *beat

psionic wanderer: "It doesn't matter what sort of head it is, mounting one

on a wagon is not a good way to make friends or keep a low profile, both of

which tend to come in more handy than boasting over what we've killed."

Mighty Gar thog: it is the biggest evil I've faced yet.

Mighty Gar thog: ~shrugged~

Cloaked Fists: He didn't examine the body too long, more trying to

familiarize himself with the weapons and armor of the people than looking for

anything noteworthy. He was in agreement with Scout and Bowen, but didn't

want to gang up on Wesh so

psionic wanderer: "Then you've lived a priveledged life." He'd leave that at

that, particularly now that his arrows had been retrieved. Time to make sure

there wasn't anything else lurking about nearby waiting to ambush them.

Phral Jastima: ::He just glanced towards Wesh and frowned some before he

simply shook his head some giving a quiet grunt.::

Tesarik One: "Wesh, what are you doing with it's body? Are you going to haul

that thing down that cliff face to do naughty things to it in your wagon?"

She smirked, and went towards the head if it was left, and pulled the rings

off the tentacles

Cloaked Fists: kept any further comments to himself. When his examination

was done, he began moving the dead bodies remaining away from the Keren,

trying to give as much of a peaceful area as possible until they decided to

clear out.

Tesarik One: so that everything could be distributed later!

Tesarik One: Ok folks - I'm going to send you an email with the magical

items listed. Choose first choice, and second choice in case it's taken.

Mighty Gar thog: ~Had the head in one hand, foot in the other to drag it~

Kitsune Youkou: ~She couldn't help it since the man was dragging the thing

around it creaped her out she was sliding slowly back to hide behind Jabal.~

Kitsune Youkou: *creeped

Phral Jastima: ::He glanced over towards Scout when Youkou came to stand

behind him and chuckled,:;you know,..he makes me miss Om. ::A hand reached

back delivering a light pat to Youkou's side before looking towards the

retreating Wesh.::

Tesarik One: "How are you going to get down the cliff?"

Mighty Gar thog: toss the body first.

psionic wanderer: "I could climb down first, then you can toss it off, and

I'll catch it." Said in his usual serious tone.

psionic wanderer: Or if he was just going to toss it down without someone to

catch it that worked too. He had no intent to catch it anyway.

Tesarik One: She snickered and shook her head, then gathered up anything of

value. She wondered if the keren would need help down since they'd been

brought up using levitation. She began to head out of the caves.
