We have had gunpowder weapons for a while, though they have been rare and you've had to get them as loot from mostly pirates.... but now we introduce gunpowder weapons as well as crafting with Artisan Crafting: Gunsmithing.
I'm also going to add some skills specifically for those who use gunpowder weapons.
I'd love suggestions, comments, etc.
Running Gunner
You have become so skilled in reloading your chosen gunpowder weapon that you may make other actions while reloading. This skill enables you to move or make another non-attack action while you are reloading your weapon such as using a potion, casting a non-attack spell, etc. Once per combat.
Weighty Words
You can get more done with a gun and your words than just your words. When using a gunpowder weapon along with an attempt at Intimidation, you gain a +10 to any one Intimidation attempt you make, once per adventure.
Armorbane Shot
Your foe will regret their bodily limits as your bullets leave dents, pocks and bruises across their armor or body. This can be used once per combat, and decreases a target's Defense DC by 2 for the remainder of combat.
Swordsman's Folly
The enemy rushing at you will realize his mistake after your shot hurtles him back to square one. Once per combat, a melee attack meant for you is not only evaded, but you do damage to your would-be attacker in the amount of damage of your gunpowder weapon roll (no defense allowed).
Reloaded Discipline
Where a lesser gunman would be frustrated by the cycle of reloading, you simply let the time and effort of every reload embolden you to make every shot count. You may re-roll your weapon damage dice once per combat, and take the better damage roll.
Executioner's Shot
As your enemy charges towards you, you calmly prepare to put him down right when you know you won’t miss. This skill allows you to add your Strength bonus to one shot per combat.
Gunner's Secret
Just as the echoes of your first shot dissipate, your enemies are shocked as your gun sounds once again a second later. This allows you a second shot of only gunpowder and residue from any gunpowder weapon, allowing you to roll half your weapon damage dice for added damage to one target, once per combat. For instance, if your weapon is a 1d6 pistol then you may roll an extra 1d3 for added damage.
Pistol Whip
While it may not be a recommended use of a pistol, with the right know-how you can utilize one as an effective mace-like weapon. This allows you at any time in melee combat to use your pistol as a melee bludgeoning weapon and roll the same damage dice you'd roll if you were firing your weapon.
Bloodthirsty Bullet
You fire your weapon at a target’s vital points, the energy of your shot tearing through armour and flesh alike to leave your enemy clutching at their wounds. Once per combat, your bullet bypasses any armor or non-magical defenses they may have.
