The University of Sarkotos and in turn, the Obsidian Heart, has been invited to collaborate with the Arcane Academy of Bryony on the advent of the anniversary of the explosion of Silvermist. The esteemed mages of the Academy find it difficult to enter the ruins on the edge of their capital city, due to the effects that have been reported over the numerous attempts and years that have been made to study ‘ground zero’ of the explosion.
At that time, Ophelia Harrington, at the invitation of her old principle tutor was settling down in the living space of the Blackstone Villa, which was located in the beautifully surrounded Drakkus. It was the particular holding of the Obsidian Heart and would allow them a freedom that staying in the Academy would not afford them. The young bard, dressed in a soft white shift that moved with each curve of her body, which seemed to shimmer with any note that she played, was sat in the Villa's communal living space. She had her flute to her lips and an ever so subtle song started to play. It was a song about home, which made sense, because she was home, or at least… as close as she’d been to home for a long time. It would, however, resonate differently with everyone there.
The invitation to come here, along with the group of adventurers that had decided to join her on the mission, was sat in her lap. Those that were coming had been invited to join the Bard for supper and song, before they set off on their journey to Shrine, the white capital city of Bryony the following morning. There was much to explain, history to give and warnings, too. Ophelia was excited though, excited to be home and most importantly, excited to help her country.
