Send Brawl Logs to the Activity Admin for credit.
XP: Win (2) -- Loss: (1) -- Proctor: (1)
Your roleplay must be at least a full and complete sentence. We will not give credit for -he punches him in the face- and that type of roleplay that only tells us you are out for the XP and do not care about story development
Brawls
• Brawls always use rank dice. There are no set dice in brawls.
• Life is half your dice + your Endurance Trait bonus + Willpower Trait Bonus AS WELL as any Hit Point Altering Skills listed below.
• Brawls are violent spars that can erupt anywhere, at anytime, without warning. They are nonlethal, if someone gets hit over their hit points, they are KO'd (knocked out).
• As such a character may RP that he uses a flavor weapon & flavor armor, but none of the bonuses to damage or defense will be applied, nor are you allowed to use specific skills related to your weapons or armor.
• Brawls are fast, bloody, violent, and purely chaotic. As flavor, a character may use their body, a melee weapon, a ranged weapon (if they can get room), a spell (as stated with no extra effects), or even improvised weapons such as bar stools, etc (we've all seen Road House).
• No Class Bonus (except specific Brawler bonus), No Skills, No Loot, Etc. during brawls EXCEPT the Innate Skills that are LISTED BELOW and those marked specifically for Brawlers, as well as any Brawler Bonus that class has.
• If you roll a Crit Hit (20), it is treated simply as an auto-hit regardless of opponent's DC.
• If you roll a Crit Fail (1), it is treated as an auto-miss, no need to roll anything else.
• Keep in mind that some professions and alignments would have your character not being able to start a brawl (though defending yourself in one is an entirely different matter). they would be more inclined to challenge another in an honorable match (such as a high-impact spar).
• Innate Skills Allowed: Charismatic Fighter, Dexterous Fighter, Tactician's Sense, Focused Shot, Power Attack, Aura of Strength, Epic Power
•Hit Point Altering Skills Allowed: Diehard, Mind Over Body, Spellborn Body

The Beginning
- Always log your spars, so that they can be sent in for XP credit.
- A brawl starts with a punch to your opponent!
- Roll Strike, see if you actually hit, and if they hit, roll damage. If you miss continue with proctor postings.
- The target may then decide to FIGHT or STAND DOWN.
If the target chooses to STAND DOWN:
- The brawl ends right then and there. If you choose to stand down, then it means you flee. You leave. You must than have your character leave the room immediately[/i]. You, the player, does not have to leave. But your character upon stating "Stand Down" must in fact leave. You are in essence running from the fight.
If the target chooses to FIGHT:
- The proctor then states:
OH (Open) or (Closed) Brawl - State rank, name, combat dice, hit points & strike.
- The Initiator's attack (that started this) was the first action of the combat, so the attacked goes now.
- Order will always go: Initiator, Primary Target, Everyone else (if OPEN and they roll an Initiative to place their order).
- Proctor should keep up with player's Strikes so you know if it is a hit or miss.
- NOTE: An Open brawl allows anyone who is in the vicinity to state and join. A Closed brawl is just between you and the person you attacked.
- NOTE: If this is a drunken brawl, you lose your Quickness Trait Bonus!
- NOTE: When you fall to 0 or Negative hit points, your character is only knocked out for a few minutes, not dead.
Hit Points = Half your Dice + Endurance Trait Bonus + Willpower Trait Bonus
Strike = 1d20 + Trait Bonus
Damage = Rank Dice + Trait Bonus
Defense DC = 10 + Quickness Trait Bonus
How-To Fighting
- Roleplay your attack.
- Roll your d20 to see if you hit, add your Trait Bonus.
- State the final number.
- Proctor states if HIT or MISS.
- If your Strike is lower, you miss. End of turn.
- If your Strike is higher, you hit them.
- If you hit your target, roll your combat dice.
- Add your Strength (melee) bonus to your roll.
- State the end number of your roll + Trait Bonus for Proctor.
