Introduction
Blessings and Rituals have been the staple of religious dogma from the dawn of creation. Cleric's have strived to bring the voice of their people to the deity's that watch over them, they serve as vessels, avatar's and are generally the most faithful of a planet's population.
ACTIVITY ONE · Why did you choose the path of a Cleric? What drew you to it? Do you find it rewarding? Give us more of a more personal outlook about your life choice, your connection and aspirations. ( This should be at least 200 words. )
Blessings
Blessings are the infusion of something with holiness, spiritual redemption, divine will or one's hope for approval. You must have whole hearted faith in the blessing, your deity and the person or place you are offering the Blessing too.
ACTIVITY TWO · Choose three places or a people that mean something to you and offer them the blessing of your deity. One should be blessed with luck, another protection and the last good fortune. ( Each blessing should be around 200 words. )
Rituals
Rituals can be anything from a wedding, to a sacrifice, a show of strength and the imbuing of power. The strength and reason of your ritual really depends your deity and their expectations: some clerics use their link to ask for aid in battle, courtship or to aid the poor. Your ritual must be constructed to appeal to your deity and their fancies: If you use an incense they hate, they are not going to be willing to aid you.
ACTIVITY THREE · Create a template for a Child's Blessing/Baptism and a Funeral, while doing so think about what your deity and social drawbacks dictate: for instance, sacrificing another human would be frowned upon in the Order. Consider what type of scents, cloths and clothing should be worn, what emblems should be in place, if any? ( Make sure to complete the rituals in their entirety, I want to see thought and effort put into the templates. )
