Mark of Diti: Intro: After an evening spent at the inne, having some dinner
together, Adal and his sister Thiyya have started to make their way through
town towards the gate to get to Adal's cottage outside the city. Georg can
either be walking
Mark of Diti: with them a little ways, or come upon them on the street, up
to you! (Begin RP)
Adal Ag Hamid: It was a good dinner! It was always a good dinner when Thiyya
was there, of course, but it helped that the food was excellent. He was
having a pleasant little small talk sort of conversation with her as they
walked, him signing, her
Adal Ag Hamid: answering however she preferred!
Georg Pryme: ::He'd been tending to a few matters in the shop, tying up
affairs so he could arrange for some time off. He'd been on his way home to
the heart when he'd noticed the desert fella, Adal. He'd seen him about,
working on the book
Georg Pryme: he was usually seen with, writing away. He couldn't remember
ever properly introducing himself to the man so he took the time to do so
now. He hustled his pace, securing the buckles of his harness in place. The
hilts of two
Georg Pryme: greatswords seen peeking above his shoulders. He called out
after him and Thiyya:: Hey . . . uhmm . . . denizens of Thane! ::He hoped
that didn't sound too rude, but he had no clue what else to call them::
Mark of Diti: Awww, her brother was just so sweet. That's why she missed him
so much probably! She was speaking softly to him in Thanic, and adjusted her
longbow on her back. She'd done a bit of practice in the courtyard after
dinner and hadn't
Mark of Diti: unstrung it quite yet. As she spoke with Adal, she heard
someone calling out for denizens of Thane and lifted a brow as she turned
around to look at the man, then nudged her brother. "Do you know him?"
Adal Ag Hamid: He of course had watched and gave encouragement in her
practicing! He had no idea how to fire such a thing accurately, so it was
interesting for him to watch. And then they were hollered at! He blinked and
turned to face the man as
Adal Ag Hamid: well, dark eyes staring at him for a moment. He was of course
all wrapped up head to toe, as he tended to be. He signed back to Thiyya. "I
have seen him around the Heart, though I can not claim to know him, no." He
waved to the man
Adal Ag Hamid: just the same, though, then beckoned him over to a more
conversational distance so nobody had to be shouting.
Georg Pryme: ::He wore nothing so much resembling a grin, it came out to
seem more like a smirk, as he approached them. A slight bow of his head
given to the woman, and he extended his arm in greeting to Adal:: Forgive me
. . . I realize
Georg Pryme: neither of you know me. Name's Georg Pryme, just wanted to
introduce myself and welcome you both to the Heart.
Mark of Diti: She nodded, at least he was from the Heart, and not some
stranger coming to talk to them. She noted the weapons, and as he approached
she gave him a smile since she was not covered across the face in blue veil
though she was wearing
Mark of Diti: blue. She gave a slight bow of her head to him. "May the
shadows watch you, Georg Pryme. I am Thiyya, and this is my brother Adal."
Adal Ag Hamid: He offered a polite bow of his head to the man when he
approached, and signed that he was pleased to meet him! Thiyya could
translate for him if need be, of course. Eyes showed his smile at least. More
signing. "What brings you out
Adal Ag Hamid: and about this evening, Georg Pryme?" He'd just shorten it to
Georg if asked, but for now he'd follow his sister's lead, ha! She was more
of a conversationalist anyway.
Adal Ag Hamid: (brb)
Georg Pryme: ::He peered close at them, taking note of the contrasts that
existed in choice of dress and as well as how they communicated. Standing
straight once again, he adjusted his eyepatch discreetly, giving what it
covered a chance to
Georg Pryme: breathe for a moment before speaking in reply:: Well, I just
got done finishing some planning at the forge. Had to do some sketching to
make some improvements on a design I've been contemplating. I deal in
weapons and armor
Georg Pryme: mostly . . . part of the training I had to finish to attain the
rank of Swordmaster.
Mark of Diti: "Yes? Very good. My armor got damaged, I had to buy myself new
armor, I wish I had known you before that I could have gotten you to fix mine
perhaps." She tugged the blue of her robe apart, showing some quite beautiful
leafweave
Mark of Diti: armor below it, palm leaves instead of what usually would have
been used.
Mark of Diti: As they walked along, they passed an alleyway. It was dark,
there were lanterns lit on the street in this area of town but it did not
pierce the dark alley between two closed shops. All of a sudden, there was a
piercing scream down
Mark of Diti: the alley and a young man and young woman came flying through
the air past them, landing with a hard thud on the cobblestone road. It was
apparent from their halfway state of undress they'd chosen that alley to be
naughty in, but it
Mark of Diti: had not worked out very well! They did not seem wounded except
from the hard fall upon the street. The girl got up, tugged her dress where
it needed to be and ran off down the street. The man rose, pulling up his
pants, and stared
Mark of Diti: over at the group of them, pointing. "There's a dragon in the
alley!" Then he ran off too.
Adal Ag Hamid: Oh dear. He was about to sign something when that scream
distracted him. He glanced over and well..tried to step in and catch the
lady, but it was quite sudden! Probably didn't manage to get in the way in
time. If he did, however,
Adal Ag Hamid: catch her, he wouldn't stop her from retreating or anything.
Just had to try and save the poor girl from taking a spill! Either way, he
glanced over to the man, then into the alley and tilted his head. Had Gar
thog gone nuts? Maybe
Georg Pryme: ::He lifted his visible brow and gave an appraising nod of what
he saw. His left hand came up to rest on the hilt sticking over the same
shoulder. He'd hold his choice on the draw til he knew more about the threat
they were
Adal Ag Hamid: he'd have to break the dragon's arm after all. Either way, he
started towards the alley to see what was what, hand tugging his blindfold
out from somewhere in his robes in case he had to fight.
Georg Pryme: alerted to. He'd fought a Dragon once, and won. He started
advancing to the alley, looking back over his shoulder to Adal and Thiyya::
Give me room to swing, all I ask . . .
Mark of Diti: The alley is very dark, the lanterns do not pierce into the
darkness. Do you have a way to see?
Adal Ag Hamid: Moonglobe flashlight! He produced it and clipped it onto the
strap of his pack, then clicked it on to shine some light down the alley.
Mark of Diti: (Spell: Darksight) She used one of her spells so she could
adjust her eyesight and see what was going on into the darkness as she moved
in behind Georg. She pulled her bow from her shoulder, and had an arrow
already readied.
Mark of Diti:
images.epilogue.net/users/caramitten/dweomervore_Dragon307.jpg
Mark of Diti: Sitting at the back of the alley is a small dragon-looking
creature, sitting atop a wooden post, it's spiky tail wrapped around it. As
they walked down the alley, it opened it's maw but as it had just used it's
breath weapon on the
Mark of Diti: man and woman, did not have it available just yet again. That
force had to build up. It's wings looked quite sharp, and there was a nasty
barb at the end of the tail. (Do any of you have magic items easily seen?)
Adal Ag Hamid: He tilted his head and stared at the creature for a moment.
It was actually rather adorable! (Just that flashlight, if it counts)
Georg Pryme: ::He saw the blue of the beast and decided to take a chance.
He switched the choice of weapon he'd been going for. His right hand came
up, drawing forth Dyrnwyn(Greatsword, 2d8, Feveriron and no)::
Mark of Diti: (Thiyya's bow is magic in a sense being a totem weapon)
Mark of Diti: (Thiyya is also wearing an amulet of adaptation borrowed from
Adal around her neck)
Mark of Diti: The dweomervore gazed across them all, noting anything magical
and untwisted his tail a bit to sway side to side. Sure, he was cute, but if
he got hold of any of their magic items, he would drain it of it's magic! So,
quite
Mark of Diti: dangerous! It also honed in on the fact that Thiyya had a
magical aura.

He bellowed out a roar as he charged in at the beast. High his blade swung,
coming down in a crashing arc. His arms shifting into a jagged granite as he

signed. He could have self healed that 2 damage! Still, he nodded to Thiyya,

you. And please
Adal Ag Hamid: tell Georg Pryme that his offer is appreciated, but I do not
wear armor myself."
Mark of Diti: "I could not, but I am sure you could sell something like that
to someone." Of course he could, but she was looking out for her brother!

Mark of Diti: brother does not wear armor, but he says thank you it is
appreciated."

Adal Ag Hamid: Her wounds were far worse, and he didn't have enough energy
to heal her entirely! That little 1 damage point she still had was going to
bother him allll night now. He nodded to Georg when his sister interpreted
for him and smiled
Adal Ag Hamid: once again.
Georg Pryme: Thank you, for the healing. Much appreciated. Aye, whatever I
make I'll be sure to split with you both. Would have been a tough fight for
me by myself.
Mark of Diti: She'd heal herself up of that little bit of damage! (1pt to
self)
