Tesarik One: Mistakes? IM me.
Tesarik One: Intro: Well, it wasn't a secret that a few nights ago, a few
folks busted through one of the walls in the Obsidian Heart Inne's cellar to
find some sort of weird stone room with six "coffins" standing on end on the
side walls, three
Tesarik One: on each. They'd fought waves of undead coming from the coffins
as if it were corridors and not solid. The far wall was very smooth, smoother
than any other wall, ceiling or floor in the room. Maria had the hole the
dire rats made
Tesarik One: shove full of rocks and a desk slid in front of it, and kept a
guard on it at all times. It was time though, one could not let undead gather
beneath one's home now could they?! She sought her adventurers and any who
were available
Tesarik One: and willing were asked to meet her in the cellar of the inne,
the door was in the kitchen. (Begin RP)
Tesarik One: ^v^ 7/25/2013 10:10:27 PM ^v^
a merciful edge: And well..couldn't start something without finishing it, so
Kyle was ready to go! He didn't have much to bring along with him apart from
his weaponry, so after getting all ready, it was down to the cellar with him!
Nobilis Arcanus: ::And through the kitchen he walked, a hand pressed to his
chest while tapping into the weave and flow of magic, the arcane threads
gathered and bound around him inacting the Cat's Grace spell to enhance his
agility and dexterity
scales change: Considering his recent research alongside Ophelia had also
resulted in Dunsany Castle becoming disturbing full of angry spirits! The
Black Knight had relocated to the Inne, making it rather easy to join those
choosing to go ahead
ascending aria: Ophelia had been all over the world recently, trying to
garner intelligence in regards to her previous outing for the company and it
was starting to take its toll. Still, she arrived at the inne, unusually
armed with her bow, dagger
Of Crimson Tides: ::Scarletta was none too happy about the request that was
made, regarding some bad stuff going on in the Inne basement. Nope, not
happy, not one bit. After all, basements were typically where business owners
stored their booze! The
Nobilis Arcanus: beyond his normal level. (Cat's Grace +2 quickness stat
boost), when the spell was complete he buckled the overcoat wile making his
way on down to the celler. A hand pressed the waist length red braid over his
shoulder to fall along
Indrila: The resident ghost elf followed behind Kyle remaining quiet as
usual. Down she went, a tilt of her head given as she observed who else would
show up. Hopefully not the drow that seemed to be congregating in this area
of Navahla. She
ascending aria: and most importantly her flute. Having decided to leave Sage
at home that evening, she made her way down to the cellar alone, itching to
tell someone, anyone, about her discoveries and the ramifications of such!
scales change: and rile up the hornets nest full of physical undead. Ready
as he was going to get, considering the rest of his gear was trapped within
his haunted property.. , Sir Steelfang awaited.. somewhat patiently for the
progress to begin.
a merciful edge: Adal was of course the primary guard on that hole in the
wall. He only needed to sleep two hours a day after all, and didn't need to
eat or drink. So the mostly-silent desert dweller was down there, sitting on
the floor, staring at
Indrila: was good with incorporeal undead, regular undead well that remained
to be seen.
Nobilis Arcanus: his back loosely. Gloves were drawn tighter on his hands,
the supple leather giving a soft groan of protest before he came to stand in
the celler, arms crossed over his chest.::
Tesarik One: Noted.
scales change: Ophelia could share the knowledge they had procurred.. she'd
tell it so much more fancifully. Least there was in fact knowledge to share.
-d
Of Crimson Tides: prospect of being severed from one of the sole reasons she
involved herself with the company in the first place (the other, of course,
being loot and riches!) did not sit well with the pirate lass. Drawing up her
Cutlass, she would
a merciful edge: the blocked-up hole. The others might well be forgiven for
thinking he was some odd statue Maria kept down there, he was so still. At
least until he moved a moment after the others showed up! He stretched out a
little, eyes shifting
a merciful edge: amongst the others briefly, and then he signed for the
benefit of anyone able to translate for him. "It has been quiet. I assume you
all are the ones going in?"
Nobilis Arcanus: Yes we are the ones going in,::he looked back towards the
steps awaiting his little shadow a small hint of a grin given as he waited.::
Indrila: Indrila signed back to him with a nod. "We are. Thank you for
guarding, Adal."
Nobilis Arcanus: And that is good to hear it has been quiet Adal,::he loked
back over to the monk giving a small nod.::
Of Crimson Tides: give a wink and grin to Maria:: Be not worried, madame!
Ain't no damned spectre er monster that disturbs me free drinkin' tab an'
gets away with it! ::She would take note of a few familiar faces, as well as
some new ones who pledged
a merciful edge: He smiled, though of course it was hidden behind his veil,
and offered a slight bow of his head to them, then signed again. "Best of
luck to you all, then, and be careful." One or two of them got a mildly
suspicious eyeballing from
Of Crimson Tides: themselves to the situation, as, for once, she seemed
focused on the task at hand::
No True Form: ~She had heard about the zombies and skulls and was rather
insistant upon going the next time they went in. The inne was her home away
from home and to think such things were just below their feet bothered her.
So she made her way
Tesarik One: The hole was easily recognizable, they'd just need to pull the
desk away and remove the rocks and bricks shoved into it.
a merciful edge: the veiled monk, but then he looked to Indrila and signed
once more. "It was no trouble, though I must return to my people now. You are
welcome to visit sometime, the settlement is growing!" At any rate, that was
enough of him being
a merciful edge: in the way. So he just made his way towards the stairs and
up them to make his way back to the desert.
Indrila: She signed back to Adal with the briefest of smiles, "I shall, my
friend."
No True Form: down into the cellar. Looking around then to the desk moved
covering the half hazzard bricked wall.~ (D)
a merciful edge: Kyle had no idea what all that finger waggling translated
to, of course, but at least some others did. Alas, he'd be a terrible signer.
That missing finger was probably important for some of the gestures. He
rubbed lightly at the
a merciful edge: stump, then moved over to start moving that desk out of the
way! No sense in wasting too much time about it.
Indrila: Indrila was not about to be moving desks and rocks, when there were
other capable people to do such. She wasn't sure if they even noticed the
area, but she gave a point and whispered softly, "This looks like where we
need to enter."
Indrila: Ahh then Kyle took initiative, wonderful.
ascending aria: So there they were, all gathered in the cellar. There was
only one face - bar Maria's - that she actually recognized, so it made sense
for Ophelia to stand next to the surly Knight. " I hope there aren't any more
rats.. " Rats were
ascending aria: bad enough but dire ones? No thanks.
Tesarik One: The hole, once uncovered, was big enough for them to crawl one
at at time though.
a merciful edge: "The rats weren't bad, it was the zombies bursting into
flames that were really unpleasant." Desk was moved out of the way! Shame
Adal hadn't just punched the brick out of the way! Oh well. He'd move enough
to get the hole opened
Nobilis Arcanus: ::As Kyle was moving the deks he was already working on the
bricks moving them, when it was uncovered he looked over spotting Nani, a
grin given to her before winking and turned looking down into the hole.
Well,..why not he was
a merciful edge: up, and then in he went, drawing his shortsword first to
provide light, since he did in fact need it.
Nobilis Arcanus: moving to slip through the big enough hole after Kyle.::
scales change: " .. They were small dire rats. " Yes, sure make light of
it.. even if the words did come with a straight face, even a practical scowl.
" The zombies weren't all that bad.. " If you were immune to being set on
fire at the time at
Tesarik One: It was indeed dark in there. As soon as Kyle stepped into the
room, there was movement heard in the six "coffins". Skeletons, by the sound
of bone against bone, that they'd heard when they left last time. Four
skeletons moved out of
Tesarik One: the coffin, though for the moment they were moving slowly as if
just awakened.
Tesarik One: (Kyle roll a Spot)

" Stay behind me.. , you would find flaming oil does nothing for the skin. "
And after Kyle and Rhyss he went.. -d
OnlineHost: Razors Red Mist has left the room.
a merciful edge: (22)
No True Form: ~She blinked~ Zombies bursting into flames ~she tilted her
head then sighed moving in after as well wicning some as she slid through
behind well behind whoever had gone just before her~ (D)
Indrila: Indrila moved in behind the others, though she did not remain at
the back. Against undead, a priest should stay near the front so she walked
about until she could spot the skeletons coming free of the walls. "Hmm."
ascending aria: He hadn't really needed to tell her to stay behind him, by
her estimation.. staying behind him was probably the safest place to be! So,
no soon after he had made his way through the hole, she crawled through too.
Brushing herself
a merciful edge: "...well shit." He glanced back to the hole and drew his
longsword in his free hand. "I think we ought to avoid killing these and
figure out how to move on. I'll do my best to keep their attention while
that's figured out." Probably
a merciful edge: had something to do with the patch of smooth wall!
Of Crimson Tides: ::the idea of crawling through a hole in the wall, and not
being able to see much in front of her face didn't seem like a good plan, but
more often than not, the lass was more stupidity than courage; especially
with her mind on a
ascending aria: off once she was back on her feet. The thought of flaming
zombies, coupled with rats and skeletons at the forefront of her mind.
a merciful edge: At least they had his sword of light to keep the room
nicely lit! He was even avoiding flourishing it idly so it'd be steady light!
Tesarik One: Indrila, you may make an attack or other action to begin if you
like.
Indrila: Indrila targetted the first skeleton, she really needed to work on
a spell to do this as an area effect, but for now she focused on one. Her
body glowed with a soft moonlight as she began to speak the White Tongue
against the
Of Crimson Tides: good drink. Following suit into the rather...dark room,
she would hope she could at see something and not stumble over - or into -
something she wouldn't like::

of whatever had animated it. (Divine Turning - opposed roll)

a merciful edge: This was of course why he suggested not bothering to fight
them! "As expected, they seem to be getting worse." He whapped Skel 2 on the
skull with the flat of his longsword's blade. (Incite to Anger on Skel 2)
Indrila: That was close, whoever had made these undead was powerful, she
could sense it and frowned. She moved about, readying for another attempt.
Tesarik One: Noted.
Tesarik One: Kythin-
a merciful edge: Now that Skel 2 was focused on him, he put himself as close
to Skels 3 and 4 as he could, ha! He was good at making himself as easy a
target as possible. Just not so easy to actually hit. Or so he hoped.
Indrila: "Acid." She frowned. She'd heard of the alchemist fire from Maria,
now jars of acid in the skeletons that could easily splash and eat skin, and
even destroy weapons and armor and clothing. "Be careful."
scales change: Acid truly did not make rampaging through the complex a
credible idea against the horde. Seeing as outright combat seemed in poor
judgement, the Knight chose to take to the defense.. in a fashion joining
Kyle's tatic. Perhaps not
a merciful edge: "Just try and figure out how to get out of here, I'll be
fine." He certainly sounded confident about that.

a merciful edge: He cursed under his breath, that skeleton was quicker than

faster and more suddenly than he should have, jerking his head back and
darting to the side. Damn

the darkness and those lost to its thrall. In some way, it would speak to
the undead she was about to face, so that she could cast them free of their

focused on the skeletons, of course. At least the one so far that'd ignored

Tesarik One: Scarletta-
Nobilis Arcanus: Alright thats two Indrila, and the redhead are next. ::He
glanced over towards the skeletons, a slight frown forming.::
Tesarik One: Ophelia's through too!
Indrila: There was no telling what they'd face on the other side of that
apparently illusory wall, probably more undead. So, she decided she'd go
through with Nani if for no other reason than she could at least hold the
undead possibly. She
Indrila: ran across the area and through the wall.
Tesarik One: Anyone who wishes to head through the wall may do so now, if
you remain and fight wait till your turn on the SB to make an action.
Of Crimson Tides: ::Damned corpses full of acid? Nope, definitely not her
cup of tea. Seeing two of the creatures preoccupied and the third shambling
off as the elusive woman darted off. Scarletta merely hoped to buy some time

lurking behind at least one of them. So, the bard held a high note, allowing
it to resonate through

back far enough for his swords to flash out all rapidly and make short work

and the words that planted a seed of trepidation within her though.

around her.

adventurers. Turn, go back, and do not set foot into my realm again."
Indrila: (Listen)
