OOC Details

OH RPG is best described, in our opinion, as a DnD based online role play group that focuses on character development through quests (adventures, missions, personal stories) or as we have come to call them, PVE (player versus environment) content. Character interaction also plays a large part, however, PVP (player versus player) conflict isn't the focus. Don't despair though! OH does have tournaments, spars and other matches that players can enjoy, PVP just isn't the focus.

We utilize proboards.com and AOL Chatrooms for OH character interaction and adventures. AOL Chatrooms are used for their support of dice rolls and the history of the Rhydin community from so many years ago.

IC Details

Obsidian Heart Adventuring Company, or OH for short, is the in character name of group everything is focused around. It's headquarters is located in the city of Navahla, Capital of the Sarkotos Kingdom. Sarkotos is one of a dozen or so nations and societies in the world of Arith.

Though other SL and NPC groups do exist in the game, OH is the premiere adventuring guild in Arith. OH adventures and missions are the focus of our game, however, characters can have other affilitions and perform adventures and missions for themselves or the SL/NPC groups mentioned above.

Good Times

OH hosts weekly quests (adventures or missions), an activity night and various events throughout the year. In addition to the regular quests game wide Story Arcs are also played out that effect the overall setting of the game. Even more so, specialized storylines are created that allow for creative use of the rules to provide a unique setting that members can join with specialized characters in order to get the most enjoyment out of the play.

Fun

While there may be debates or disagreements over the rules at times (this is of course a DnD based game) drama doesn't have a place in this group. The evolution of the story, character development and fun are our main goals.
